Loved the shop and my reading with Kamille was spot on. She was amazing and I legit told her my first name and my birthday and everything she said was so accurate and really mind blowing....I've never been to any kind of reading before so I have nothing to compare it to, but it was insane how well she knew me and what I needed to do to make my life make more sense lol highly recommend!

A treasure trove of history, artifacts and interesting stories about this wonderful city. Do yourself a favor and visit. You will realize how many amazing places you probably walked past dozens of times and didn't realize how historical they were.
ThIf you weren’t looking for this museum, you could easily pass it by walking down Royal Street, and that would be a real shame. The Historic New Orleans Collection is such a high-quality, engaging, fantastic museum!! And, it’s free! The exhibit on the history of New Orleans/the French Quarter was so fascinating to learn about. There was also a special exhibit on democracy and elections in the US, which was very interesting and well-done. The museum guide, Winston, was so kind and knowledgeable!! We had some really nice conversations about the citizenship test and election history in America. Due to various scheduling reasons, I wasn’t able to spend as much time here as I’d have liked, but will definitely plan accordingly if I’m able to visit the city again! Make sure to add this place to your sightseeing list!
Free, with a security bag check and metal detector. The guards are so nice and tell you what areas are interesting to see. Worth a visit if you're into architecture. If you go on a rainy day, there's a good chance you'll have the entire place to yourself :)
Voodoo Authentica was super cool! I wish I could've stayed longer to really experience everything but unfortunately had to leave. I originally stopped in to get my fiancé a gift from NOLA considering most of the gift shops sell fake dolls.

Well-designed and very walkable urban greenway in New Orleans. The south end is within walking distance from the French quarter and the north end is walking distance from City Park. Connects multiple neighborhood and parks and passes by a couple places where you can step off the trail to a coffee or food place. Not much restroom access on the greenway itself. Lots of color and character along the way — perfect example of nature and urban life coming together.
Love this place! Papa Zaar was excellent. He was broad enough with his reading to give me a pathway to figure things out. The readings are not completely private because of the set-up. So he didn't want to be too specific. However they are complete. His instructions were clear and he wrote my next steps and gave them to me. He also told me no need to purchase anything from the store. Nola leaese payment is expensive so please purchase something from them. After my reading, I felt great light and ready to move forward.

This could be a nice zoo. The grounds need a lot of work. Some of the grounds are very pretty but there are weeds coming up on walkways and different attractions all over the zoo. A large percentage of the animal enclosures need a lot of maintenance. Lots of the glass was broken. There were many exhibits closed and missing animals. We saw lots of zoo keepers but only a few actually taking care of animals and only 1 working on the grounds. Most were grouped together just talking. This was a big disappointment. 80$ for 2 adults and 1 kid was not worth the trip.
The hours of operation are wrong. We are here right now and it's closed. Better to fix it.
LaFitte Greenway is absolutely great! A continues bicycle path from Basin street all the way to Carrollton Avenue. The street crossings have a push button to stop traffic and so much more. There are bicycle tire inflation stations, workout and fitness equipment, tennis and basketball courts and more. The street art along the Greenway is great. A really nice way to cross the city.
Visited on a Friday morning and not crowded at all. The entrance to the zoo was very nice. The employees were very nice and helpful. There weren't many animals to see. The ones that we did see were mostly tucked away. They had canned Gatorade, and I had never seen that before, lol. We bought the combo pass for $50 with the aquarium. The zoo wasn't worth the money, the Aquarium was.
All I needed help with was getting a better job.. well, I got two new jobs, moved out of state, got a new apartment at a miracle price, and am currently saving up for a wedding in the span of two weeks. I have no idea what kind of energy is hidden within the walls of this place, but it is STRONG, and it totally slapped this rural little PA girl in the face.

The staff here love what they do and are very enthusiastic about sharing their knowledge with you! They were very engaging for our 5/8 yo kids. We were lucky to spot some interesting animals on the nature hike as well.
What a fun zoo!! If you are in New Orleans you have to come visit this zoo! I just went and it was extremely hot however it was 100% worth it to see all the animals! It is a really good size zoo and I'm pretty certain I didn't even see everything. I absolutely loved it here!!
The Cabildo houses a really extensive museum on New Orleans history. We were facilitated with the memorabilia from all around the city. This is the focus of the ground floor. The second floor is more about the founding and the Battle of New Orleans. This was so worthwhile, we would highly recommend to anyone interested in the City’s past.
I highly recommend buying your tickets in advance so you can just scan your tickets and go. Very beautiful zoo, saw no trash on the ground. All the animals look well kept. They even have a part of the Zoo called Cool Zoo, that has water activities you can play in. It was very hot however, I'd recommend getting a fan and stocking up on water. Of course everything food and drink wise was expensive, but that's to be expected. Be prepared to walk long distances, so wear good support shoes. Loved it.
Another popular and instagrammable spot in NoLa, historic building supposedly haunted by two women ghosts (I didn’t go in).
A must visit if you're in the area! We love this shop because its namesake is spot on. It feels authentic and lets you get a look into the reality of what voodoo is about. They sell some touristy voodoo dolls but also sell many of the ingredients used in the religion and have an altar in the store where people leave small offerings. It's quite a unique stop and one that leaves a lasting impression.
Great museum building with a lot of history. The staff was very friendly and the exhibits were great. Part of the state museum package I bought all 4 museums for the discount and I'm very happy with the outcome. For a museum junkie New Orleans is a wonderful experience. Highly recommended.
Very friendly and informative people. There is much to see and the tells a history of New Orleans very well. The first two level were great. The last level was ok but I dont recommend the last level for kids because of nude paintings.
I went to visit The Historic New Orleans Collection. There is work being done so we had to go across the street to enter. The staff there was very knowledgeable. I enjoyed everything about this experience and learned a lot about New Orleans. This is a great place for everyone
Wonderful museum for New Orleans and its people. There are 3 stories and some interesting art on 1 A and 2A.
I throughly enjoyed my visit. This museum is more for the history of New Orleans the important people and events that shape New Orleans to what it is today. I recommend a visit.
I wish I had more time on my visit to New Orleans to spend here. I only spoke to one cashier briefly. Nice selection of items as well as informative placards for people wanting to learn about the history of voodoo. The shop is very welcoming with a relaxed energy of trust. The rooms are small and it got crowded easily before settling down again. I hope to visit again and learn more in the future.
We get a membership every year. It's definitely worth it if you live close and want to go often. You also get discounts with it in the gift shops and cafes. Parking is free. My kiddos live for the zoo. I love how they improve it pretty often. They have people with educational stuff out as well. The swamp cafe has been my favorite since childhood. Loved the new wall hands on additions to the snake exhibit ! The new bird area is amazing!

The coolest zoo I’ve ever been to. The exhibits are well kept and have very imaginative enclosures. My favorite was the swamp area - it has a really sense of humor and whimsy to it. Picnic area is great. We don’t have kids but there are plenty of parks and interactive parts for kids. My only thing is I would advise anyone with fillings to stay away from the Roman Candy.
Booked a private ritual for a bachelor party and had an amazing experience. The practitioners where very sweet, friendly, open to all questions and guided us through everything. Even aside from the ritual it's a cute shop with great quality goods. Highly recommend if you're looking for the real deal in New Orleans!
We had a great time here! So much to see. Spent the day here right after we landed before we were able to check into our rental home. It was a cooler day so we just went and walked around. Loved the elephants and giraffes the best, but explored around 95% of the zoo. Friendly staff. We ate lunch there and I cannot remember the name of the restaurant, but it was good. Recommend taking a day and going. Kids would enjoy. Hopefully we can go back towards Halloween. I hear they have a “Boo at the Zoo” event. I think that sounds like it would be exciting to attend. Highly recommended.
This is the most photographed building in the French Quarter. The architecture is Spanish, built when the city was under Spanish rule. It is not a tourist attraction but is a private residence. The only way to go inside is to be invited by the owner. Like many buildings in the French Quarter the ground floor is used as commercial rental property. The shops renting the lower floor have no relationship with the owner.
This is such a great zoo. It is worth it to visit, especially if you go with kids. There are different areas that go from different regions, so you can see diverse animals.
The restrooms are pretty clean and spacious, you can find one close to the entrance and another one close to the playground area.
The playground has a good space to play for the children. There is shape because of the trees, which is good on a really sunny day.

This was an interesting museum with various collections. The building itself is interesting with all its features and history. It is very clean and was not noisy and crowded when I visited. The exhibit about Mardi Gra was fun. The history about the war of 1812 was insightful. The room on the second floor overlooking the street gave a nice view. Reasonable admission for the whole place.
This is a great interactive museum and usually not crowded. One of the best kept secrets in New Orleans. This free museum is very well done and has great French Quarter content. A great place to start your visit to the French Quarter.
Fun little walking path put into the bricks. Takes 10-15 minutes to complete. If you’re nearby it’s worth checking out. I wouldn’t plan on making a trip just for this.
The Audubon Louisiana Nature Center offers peaceful scenery and nature immersion through a system of manageable length nature trails for all ages, toddlers to elderly. Options for boardwalk or dirt trails are available. The boardwalk trails have built-in benches at turn-around points perfect for those who require recovery after short distances. The Interpretive Center is only open 10am - 2pm Thurs - Sat but is worth planning your trip around if you would like to make this an educational visit or have small children to wow. While the facility is equipped with a Planetarium, it has been closed since the pandemic began and has not opened as of the writing of this review 3/2023.
This place includes a home of 1790's vintage. And much more than that. Changing exhibits. An aeolian pipe organ in a lovely room. The buildings themselves are of interest. One housed a TV station. Lee Harvey Oswald was on the morning talk show! The couple who made this place possible, Leila &Kemper Williams both from old LoUiSiAna families wanted locals and visitors to learn about New Orleans. Do not miss a visit here. It will be the best orientation a visitor could have.
Awesome place to visit. We came here on a relatively cold day unfortunately but we still had a great time on the trails and seeing all of the exhibits. To me this is definitely worth a trip to visit and looking for something off the normal path when visiting the area. Special thank you to Sarah for taking the time to answer my boys' questions and listen to him talk about everything!
A well designed and informative museum about the history of New Orleans, with a lot of emphasis on the cultural heritage of the city and the Battle of New Orleans in 1815. The AAA discount was also appreciated!
I'm embarrassed that I've not visited The Historic New Orleans Collection until 2023. This FREE museum has the greatest history of New Orleans of any museum I've visited. The exhibits answered so many questions I've had for years. There are many permanent and temporary exhibits to enjoy. The staff is knowledgable and friendly. Take a break from Bourbon Street and be amazed!

So many labyrinths in the world that work for peace. That look for the benefit of humans as they measure themselves against the universe. And then they’re the ones that are another way to try and sneak false ideas into peoples minds, and prevent us from seeing what we actually need to do to preserve the planet, and to care for creation.
We went during the Celebration in the Oaks event and it was simply amazing! Unforgettable night of laughter and pure joy.
Great architecture and the plants made a majestic scene. Highly recommended! I guess you also get some live music here during the day.
This place has so much for the kids to see and do. I especially love the themes as they relate to my childhood. They also had many rides for the kids to enjoy. I can't wait to go again.
Amusement park at City Park reminds me so much of Central Park in NYC. If you’ve kids, there’s nothing like it in New Orleans ‘heaven’. I bought the Family season pass for 4 for $265 and have no regrets. Babies absolutely love it. Pay attention to the height chart, otherwise, a parent can always accompany a child almost on all the rides. Even an infant can go on 4 rides. Train, Ferris wheel, roller coaster, carousel garden etc are the highlights with 20+ Rides. They’re open from Thur - Sun from 11a-8p and I usually go on Sundays, when there’s no rush whatsoever. The staff consists of teenagers who are super friendly. I would highly recommend the Amusement park. And next door Storyland is also included with the season pass😊

They have a rotating exhibition space that is wonderful. Every space has a tour guide who will help if need be, and there bathrooms are very very clean and nice!

The park rangers are friendly and welcoming. I enjoy walking the platform walking trails/loop. Also, the exhibit is very educational and FREE to the public.
The tree of life is amazing! The labyrinth is fun. Lots of space to run and burn off energy.
This museum was nice but in my opinion it didn't quite live up to the high reviews I had read. Perhaps I would have had a different experience if I hadn't been there with my three- and six-year-old kids who didn't really enjoy it that much (fortunately, they were free thought). There were a couple interactive exhibits that they enjoyed, but it would have been nice to have even more hands-on activities like that. There were some neat historical artifacts and paintings, and the museum helped give us a greater understanding of the history of New Orleans. Lots of it was pretty text-heavy, though, so it was difficult to absorb as much as I would have liked while also keeping an eye on my kids. The building itself is gorgeous, and for anyone interested in the history behind New Orleans, I recommend it.
I used to come here with my family as a child very often.. multiple times a year. This was my first time in 5 years and I enjoyed it so much! I felt like a kid again!!! The rides, the lights, the food, the music!!! It was AMAZING! SO MUCH FUN! My fiancé and I went twice this week!
I love finding labyrinths all over this country. It's like a treasure hunt! And this labyrinth in Audubon Park is a true gem!
Christmas at the park was amazing. would absolutely recommend it's like a mini Disney world. night time is the best time to go for sure when the lights hit.

An absolutely beautiful hidden gem where you can sit and listen too the wind in the trees and just be at peace.
This is a hidden gem, but once you find it, you’ll be happily surprised. This is a peaceful and meditative labyrinth (aren’t they all?) and doesn’t take much time to walk, but you can take as much time as you’d like. It’s closer to Magazine Street as opposed to St. Charles.

Planetarium is open and the trail is beautiful! There are board walks and ground paths to explore.
It has many butterflies and insects. It is enjoyable for families to go and walk through. It can take up to an hour or more and there are some hands on projects. There is also other animals like turtles,fish,and baby alligators.
I think they have a butterfly problem. It is an awesome insectarium and butterfly garden, well worth the time while you are in New Orleans. Just be prepared to do the metal detector and the emptying of your pockets, it is in a federal building.
This historical landmark is also the location of the audubon insecterium and butterfly garden. Great for kids and adults alike. See the animals so easily overlooked and learn things you may have never known. Walk on top of scorpions with the glass floor in closure and enjoy butterflies of all sorts of sizes and colors.
A really beautiful building where you can see many people taking photos there! The local legend says that 2 ghosts live there. The ghosts of 2 women haunting this building, Melissa making restless movements on the 2nd and 3rd floor, and Mrs. LaBranche, seen in a blue gown on the second...
This place is a must see, especially with the kiddos; we were on a date. It's part of the City Pass deal for New Orleans and walking distance from most anywhere downtown, especially close to Harrah's and the Aquarium. The building itself is rich with history and it's interesting to ask why there are armed guards and a metal detector in an Insectorium.
Super cool park, had a whole fitness area and the other side was a really unique playground area. Plenty of seating for parents, plenty of swings. No restroom though

Absolutely wonderful visit, the rangers are friendly and informative. I volunteered at the nature center back in 81/82, and the rangers were kind enough to let me finger thru the hand full of photos from that time that remained, as well as sharing some of the old memorabilia with me. The walking trails have been rebuilt and offer a nice stroll through the woods, with abundant wildlife engaging us as we walked. I highly recommend you make this a stop when in NOLA.
This was my very first labyrinth and feel in love. I love that there’s 2 of them of different size. The large one really puts you in a calming mental state. It took about 15 min at a slow pace to make it to the center. Highly recommend going and trying it out.

Love this little park/walking path. It was a job well done with a clearly strong effort by the city and the locals to make this place a desirable destination for locals and tourists alike. The playground is one of the best I've seen, and there is even a "play area" for adults with exercise equipment. The football field and basketball courts are well maintained and clean. The gardens are beautiful. The design of the benches and seating areas are modern and cool. The portable bathrooms are super convenient and there are some water fountains equipped with water bottle filling stations. They need more places like this one in New Orleans and I hope more are created sooner than later.
Just newly opened from Hericane Katalina hit in 2005. Not much tourists there. The trail for hiking. Planetarium was new and good explanation for constellation.

If you're in the park, sure drop by. If not, no real reason to make a special trip. All it is is a large tiled maze that's fun to walk and a smaller one too. Not like a corn maze, flat tile where u could easily step over the lines.
An absolutely stellar addition to the urban landscape of New Orleans. Imagine an old abandoned commercial railroad piercing through the city and through several neighborhoods without being noticed, with the exception of when some crime had been committed. Several houses and warehouses intentionally giving its back to this forsaken yet full of potential open space. A year into it's inauguration, the Laffite Greenway bursts with life, and it's looking better and better with every passing day. A myriad of recently completed commercial and residential renovations and new construction projects as well as other that are being considered are a clear statement that the greenway is here to stay, and that its future couldn't be brighter.
I use the bike path for commuting on the weekdays and for recreation with my wife and daughter on the weekends. I absolutely love it.
