The RiNo Art District in Denver, Colorado is an amazing place for anyone who loves art and culture. It's a vibrant and diverse neighborhood that is home to many different galleries, shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues. The area is filled with unique art galleries showcasing a variety of styles, from traditional to contemporary. There's also a variety of unique local shops and restaurants, as well as several entertainment venues. The area also hosts a number of art-related events, from seasonal art walks to special exhibitions. I had the chance to visit the district recently, and I was amazed by the diversity and creativity of the art on display. The atmosphere was friendly and inviting, and it was obvious that the local merchants and artists take great pride in their work. I highly recommend a visit to this unique and vibrant neighborhood in Denver – you won't regret it!

7 floors of art in a modern building whose architecture is designed to provide beautiful views of Denver. There was too much to see in one day, so I went back the next day, despite the added cost of paying for a second day because I thought the value was worth it.

I loved that an entire floor was comprised of current artists indigenous to the US and Canada. These pieces reacted to the history of colonization and coped with finding self in modern day. The art ranged from sculptures to paintings, from realism to abstract. I've rarely seen art museums with this kind of collection.

However, I was disappointed that in order to get to that floor, most visitors would pass through an exhibit on Native American art from hundreds of years ago. This exhibit made no mention of how the museum obtained the art, nor how the museum was currently working with Native Americans to either return the art to their community, or to ensure they were displaying it properly.

Additionally, on another floor, a Qu'ran was displayed opened. While I've often seen Bibles displayed that way, this could be disrespectful, given that the majority of Americans know little about Islam. There was not enough context provided here about why it was open, how it was obtained, and whether the museum was working with anyone from the Muslim community about appropriate ways to display.

The top floor has marvelous local art and also balconies with marvelous views of the city.

The rotating exhibits were fascinating and well worth the extra cost.

It has 2 wonderful lakes. Theres even stones to get down to the water. It has a playground and toilet and gazebos and benches to hang out with. The pathwalk is not too wide but it goes to the very side of the lake. So nice.
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at the Art Museum. We went on a free day so not everything was available but that didn't matter! There was plenty to enjoy. There's so many interactive stations throughout the museum to explore hands-on for all ages. There were short 10 minute lectures/discussions in various parts of the museum for guests to enjoy. We listened to several of these. It made for a great Homeschool day for us.
My Mom and I stopped in for a tour and learned about Molly Brown and her life's journey. Yes she was a guest on the Titanic, but she was also a champion of local life and development in Denver. The house is well preserved with artifacts from her time spent in the house while telling her story. We enjoyed learning about her activism in the local communities and the effects of it today. If you are a history buff, or just looking to learn a little more about one person's life in Denver, check out the Molly Brown house!
Wow! Great Experience!! One of my favourite art museums in the US. 6 floors of different of art, from many different artists and times. 101% recommended to check. Building is amazing! Make sure to check all the amazing views from all the different of windows. Will come back in a few years!
Great, human-scaled museum with an excellently curated contemporary exhibition.

Beautiful museum. Variety of galleries. Lots of walking good thing that have elevators. Some interactive activities. I went on the Free Day but they had a $5 showing that was definitely worth it. Cute gift shop. Great downtown Date.

It's definitely a nice place, but the admission fee is expensive. I was lucky enough to get free admission using my Lewisville library card. 1 hour is enough.

My parents and I spent the afternoon touring the Denver Art Museum and had a fantastic experience. From the architecture of the museum to the views of downtown and the Rocky Mountains, the space is inviting and inclusive. We were able to borrow a museum wheelchair for my mom to access the museum while my dad took advantage of the portable seating. The galleries featured extensively artwork of native and local artists while adding to a more traditional collection. I appreciated the care that went into curating the exhibits too. My mom especially enjoyed the textiles. You can definitely spend an afternoon, an entire day, or days exploring all that the museum has to offer. I know I will be back during my next adventure in Denver to take in even more!

Wow!!!

I am not a museum gal at all, and after stepping inside here I feel like I'd love to go to more. The layout and themes of each floor were so clear and there was two buildings worth! I thought I would spend maybe an hour floating through. I was captivated by the story telling and spend all day...! Just loved it ❤️

All the staff I spoke with were so kind and helpful as well

A lovely zoo, and clearly on the way to bigger things. The elephant enclosure is very impressive, the largest I've seen outside of Dan Diego. What they have now seems small for a city the size of Denver, but multiple construction projects are underway. The staff were friendly, informed, and engaged. More detailed maps throughout would be a nice touch, as we missed things and had to backtrack because the main map gave the impression of a simple loop that was not a match for how things felt while walking. Even with poor weather it was a great day out and I would visit again in the future.
Great architecture! I really liked the Cowboy exhibition. I didn’t know a lot of the things about the genre and it was quite informative. I just wanted to see more Art/exhibitions. The roof top was super pretty and we spent a lot of time there, talking and sipping on lemonade. I might visit again when I’m in Denver to see what new exhibition they have. All in all, a good experience!

Went to a late afternoon, evening wedding here. First of all, we couldn't even find the pavilion. The signs were terrible, pretty much non-existent. We were right next to it and didn't know it was the pavilion. They also could use some plexiglass on the gates to help keep the wind from coming in as there is no heat. The plus side is you didn't need much for decorations, the light that comes in from the sun and the building itself makes it beautiful.

ON THE CONSTRUCTION- if people took the time to read, the construction is 1. New habitats for current animals 2. They are adding an exhibit for new animals incoming! So there is nothing you really miss! That was a dramatic statement from people. They do no longer have seals but I’m sure there’s a reason for that.

Had a great experience at the zoo! My boyfriend & I love visiting different zoos when we travel & we had a great day there!

Great place for an outdoor event.
Super fun and informational. I learned a lot. Parking is a nightmare, so allow time to find a spot and walk to the house. Make sure to spend some time in the gift shop. We did the guided tour, and then we're able to wander around on our own.
This is a hidden Denver gem that a lot of people have never even heard about. Once upon a time the 4 Mile House was the last stop along the stage coach trail before you made it to Denver and this house is located 4 miles from the then downtown Denver. This is not the oldest structure in Denver, but it is the oldest remaining building from the original Denver settlement. Everything in the house and around the 12 acre property is era correct. Make sure to ask for the house tour. Lots of history to learn here and fun for all ages.
Absolutely loved my visit to the Molly House Museum! It's like stepping into history with well-curated exhibits. Super interesting and a must-see for anyone into history!

We visited the Denver Zoo as a part of a school field trip. It was a lot of fun but there was a lot of construction going on as they were renovating a lot of it. I'd say the coolest and most unique aspect of this zoo is the Elephants and the Elephant show that they do. It is incredible to watch how the trainers interact with such huge animals and how the animals perform. Such a fun experience for the kids and the adults!

Beautiful park with hiking and biking trails at the confluence of Platte River and Cherry Creek. You can see the brownish creek water joining the clearer river. Easy walking paths, mostly flat but with some stairs and pota-potty

Nice like park with small fishing
ponds and a creek running thru and a trailhead that is linked to Denver's trail system. Some local art and a big toy for kids.
Usually not busy, great for walking, bike rides, picnics, etc.

I had an amazing time exploring the RiNo Art District in Denver! It's a fantastic place to spend the day immersed in vibrant street art, exploring unique shops, and enjoying a variety of bars. A five-star experience for sure!
I absolutely love the artwork. The hard work put into a lovely body of art. The freedom to express oneself without restrictions of property or ownership. The beautiful collaboration between artists and building owners is simply... magnificent. Our community can witness the creativeness of an inner ownership shared for all to admire while being inspired. I love it! Art is beautiful. Artists are beautiful. Life is beautiful. I love to take my family here.

Lovely park, really love riding scooters along the bike trail and then finding somewhere to sit and watch the river and enjoy a picnic or sunset or just getting a little slice of nature even in the middle of the city. Always lots of people around which is nice!
Well hello and happy day. I was in need of some beauty in my life today and this was the solution. If you need a night of peaceful, chitter chatter this themed stroll is the place. For you! The artistry was inspiring, and it was a visual delight, being surrounded by all of the beautiful lights, combined with some animation and of course, at every turn a new theme. Wonderful evening.

This is a beautiful park. I was here for a wedding and the fountains in the background are really nice. The swan paddle boats light up at night! I will say that Google Maps will often take you the wrong direction through the park because one of the pathways is closed. So be cautious with directions online.
I love the Titanic so this place was a MUST when I visited Denver. The house is really pretty, I was impressed by all the little details it had. I took so many pictures and a few videos but I couldn't get enough of the experience. I wish I had a house decorated like that haha. They have a little gift shop with a lot of cool stuff, I obviously got a bunch of cool things. Totally recommend if you're a fan.
Great place! Went here for the Bright Nights e wnt and it was awesome. The different lights and sculptures were amazing. If you are looking for something fun to do on a date or something fun to do with the kids at night this is the place to be! Would recommend this place a d will be visiting again in the future.
Went to Bright Lights at the Park, more than wonderful! Bring the whole family, but wear good shoes, the ground is uneven. Parking was on the street only for this event.

Beautiful little park! I LOVE rushing water and this is a super unique park at the confluence of two rivers and countless pedestrian and bike paths. I would highly recommend this park during your time in Denver!
This is a wonderful way to enjoy Denver. City Park Pavillion is a true gem! From the Jazz every Sunday to renting boats or bikes, try it out.

Such a beautiful trail right in the heart of the city. A smaller creek meets the river and there is separate paths for biking and walking that go up and down both the river and creek. Great way to walk into town
Very good historical site and learning center. Nice lil museum and gift shop as well. Friendly and helpful staff. Visited recently during a Bright Lights exhibit, a fun time was had by everyone! Definitely a great place to visit, beautiful setting near the creek, bring a picnic if you like.

Great place to go relax, see music on music nights (Sundays) for free, practice fly fishing- watch for runners behind you!- or paddle boat the swans around the lake. Plenty of space to cookout or just sit and watch the world.
I drive past the signs on the way to work and finally decided to visit. It was a nice park with a good amount of historical information. Loved getting to tour the house in a small group. They’re currently setting up for a special event so some parts are blocked off, but you’re still able to enjoy all the main areas. I will definitely come back again when they have the Bright Nights!
This art district is similar to wynwood but much smaller scale. Lots of large scale murals/ graffiti. Cute stores and many good place to eat. I much prefer this area than downtown.

City Park Pavilion area is an excellent park and pavilion area. The lake is great for taking a rentable duck boat out on or you can stroll through City Park! Parking can be difficult depending if you’re visiting on the weekend as it’s next to the Denver Zoo so come early!

Come on down for Cross Currents mid-summer! Great time with good bands, beers, and plenty of activities to keep the group entertained.

Also a great place outside of planned events to walk along the water in a rather land-locked city. Enjoy the warmth of summer and the cold currents during winter!
This is such a fun historical place to visit! The staff and guides are very knowledgeable and friendly. They do have self guided tours and guided tours that will explain everything to you. The museum has two fantastic guides that are available to answer all your questions plus booklets, and information guides that explain lots of interesting information. We went on three floors plus in the basement. There’s a wonderful documentary about Molly Brown.

Fun area to walk and explore. Great visuals/murals and plenty of places to eat
If you love street murals, grab your camera and walk freely through this area. There are over 200,some in obvious f
display, others tucked in back alleys. Plus, it has over 21 breweries in the neighborhood. It's a bit raggedy in sections, evidence that the gentrification is still happening. I enjoyed it.
We got free tickets to explore on our own through our library. I believe 7 county libraries participate. There are some really interesting artifacts to see. All the workers are knowledgeable and can answer questions. There are qr codes for self guided audio tours. Lots of text to read about different rooms. On the top floor there are laminated cards with questions about historical documents to test your critical thinking. Flip the card over for answers.

The kitchen gadgets and one of the first washing machines were cool to see.

Very limited handicap access. It's a residential street, so there's no handicapped parking either.

They don't have a parking lot. Street parking is very limited. Across the street parking is reserved for different businesses with the risk of tiring, so plan to arrive early and walk. Inside there are also lots of stairs to access 4 floors. They are still doing timed entry tickets.

Talk about a great oasis in the middle of a busy and big city. Being able to see the river and have its sounds mask all of the sounds of the city was a really enjoyable treat on our day out on the town. If you are in the area and you need a little break definitely come check this out. Lots of great places to sit and a nice place to contemplate.

Beautiful area, I took my dog for a walk and it was very quiet. They have a playground, a couple little ponds, sidewalk path, large grass areas, benches & gazebos, fishing, shade trees, bathrooms..... ish ( I believe they were Porta potties), and trash cans & doggie bags to clean up after your pups. The only reason I did 4 stars is the parking lot area seemed kinda sketch to me, lots of people hanging out in their cars.

Nice place to go for a walk or to go to run. They also rent boats to get into the lake.
I love the history of this place! They have a nice welcome center where you check in. There is a little gift shop, restrooms and a little history display. The grounds are nice to walk around. There are pigs, goats and horses as well as many picnic tables and buildings to check out. But the best part is the old house, Denver’s oldest. Taking a tour of the house and learning the history of it is fascinating.
This is a great place to bring the family for several hours and learn about Denver’s history. Tour guides are lovely and well-informed.

Something about this place feels very calming instantly. Nice size park. People seem very nice. Lots of dog walking with. baggie stations. Nice playground for the kiddos. Lots of matured trees all over including parking lot for shade. Clear pathways around the lake. Ample parking. Porta-potty. Several benches and gazebo.
Only thing I would caution is water on side of paths could be a risk for little one's running around. Definitely a very nice maintained park. Highly recommend 🐸
Loved it here. It was way to hot for me to walk around the whole district, which I’d love to do. If you’re short on time, I recommend you park near Central Market.
Wonderful concert with Jakarta. Ambiance 5 stars and terrific views of the fountain.
The other pics posted with the Twin Lakes Park Sunset r from the Clear Creek bike trail n the pictures were just PERFECT that day because Mother Nature Was On Time...🐟💯😎🎣👍💙

Denver has an abundance of homeless people and I don't feel safe. The Mayor should do something about it.
We were stay at the Born and got two 'complimentary passes'. We both have a general interest in art and decided to check it out on a Friday an hour or so before they closed. There are lockers for larger bags, a gift shop, and a great rooftop space with a Cafe. The rooftop is really nice and I recommend checking it out

We were excited to see this museum in our Google maps. It does not disappoint. The care and detail of the restoration was amazing. There is a great self guided tour and staff members who are willing to answer any questions. I highly recommend this as a tour stop in Denver.

We went for a nice walk, Easter Sunday. There were a few families at the park but but so much that we wanted to turn around and leave. We're walked the dog around the lake and down the bike oath s ways. We stopped down by Clear Creek and watched the water flowing then went back through the park. There was a bit of a breeze, but it wasn't too cold. The sun was out, it was pretty peaceful.

This is a great place to go for a walk, or sit on one of the many benches to enjoy the park scenery. There also a playground for the kiddos that looked to be in good condition. Nice spot for a family outing.

A nice little park with lots of places to sit (maybe 3-4 picnic tables all around the lake, a gazebo at the playground, a gazebo with another 2 tables, and maybe 3-4 other benches along the sidewalks). There's a fun kids playground too. There's a lake which seems okay but it was pretty empty when we visited. From this park, you can also access the longer trail that leads to Golden or to the South Platte trail.
It's a nice place and right now at night all the Christmas lights are beautiful and they have now placed some of the floats from the Parade of Lights there so that you can come down and see the beautiful way they were put together and enjoy them once again.

Very pretty park with lots of benches and great views! Dog bags provided by the entries. As of November 2021 they’re still doing construction/landscape improvements.

Dogs are required to be on leash at all times according to the signage. Lo and behold that is usually not the case, so if your dog is reactive to other dogs, just be aware one may come running up to say hi.

Too much tear gas for my taste
This is our absolute favorite park! There are so many incredible areas to explore. We come here 2-3x a week to ride scooters, walk the lake, feed the geese (oops, sorry if we weren't supposed to lol).
We went to the urban holiday market. It was lovely and all the vendors were so nice, but I think they need some better advertising because it just looked like a cluster of tents, rather than a big event. It was nice and the bathrooms were clean (not outhouses, but actual bathrooms)

If one has a SNAP card, Admission is only $1, up to 10 admissions - a way better deal than the $24 now being charged. Incredible that is costs that much - way more than when I was a kid. But then, the DZ has upgraded its exhibits and facilities through the decades.
A few animal exhibits were empty, such as bears, seals and others.
Still, it's a nice facility with good informational signs and exotic animals that seem to do well at high elevation.

Uhhh yeah, there are some homeless people, however there's a lot more people just chilling! It's not all bad, this historical landmark deserves some of the attention it's been lacking.

It would be a shame for life to forget about the history behind this recreation of the liberty bell situated here.

12:15 pm on mother's day. My 5 year old daughter on my shoulders. Trying to walk to show her the Capital. Two homeless men got into a brawl 20 feet away from us. One of them had a hiking pole, and began beating the instigator. They both proceeded to run around the park and I left with my daughter because I didn't want her to see brutality like that. Denver PD needs to have their hands untied to properly deal with the homeless, young able bodied men who are a menace to the public. It's a disgrace and an embarrassment to the city. My daughter just asked me if the mean men were gone so we can go back and see the capital. No, they are certainly still there, so we won't be going back.

I enjoy the oasis in the city, the view of the capitol and City and county building.
Feel completely un-safe due to the abundance of homeless persons, and the abundance of marijuana consuming individuals.
I will continue to avoid this place until the safety concern changes.
