The perfect place for a dinner, ín calm under the trees.
I visited this small but immaculate garden on the first day of my stay in Monaco. Being a South African plant scientist it was quite a strange feeling to see so many familiar plants growing in Monaco. They looked lush and in good health so clearly the climate agrees with them!
We went to see the Fantom of the Opera show on Christmas eve and it was magical. An experience worth doing at least once in a lifetime. The show was amazing, the sound system was perfect and the venue itself simply splendid. The chairs are not very confortable for a 2.5h of sitting, but the rest of the experience makes it worth your pain. We loved it! The price was affordable: 100€ /person and we booked online long in advance to have good seats.
Beautiful fairy days
We visited the square infront of the famous Monte Carlo casino and left a bit dissapointed. The roundabout is a walking zone and only a few of the "nice sport cars" were parked so actually nothing much to see. Took a picture and move on behind the casino for the sea view and famous soccer hand/footprints and signatures.
Beautiful free garden. Only takes maybe 30 minutes if you really stretch your time. Very convenient too.
A great free place to explore when you are going around Monaco. It really felt like I was in Japan at some points. The only reason for 4 stars is the nearby construction which ruins the tranquility and peaceful atmosphere this park has. Still definitely worth a visit
Well worth a look inside but check out the dress code and don’t forget your passport for ID.

The casino is like a fancy palace, and it's okay-ish. You have to pay to go in, and there are rules about how you should dress. When I put up a tripod to take pictures outside, a security guard quickly told me to take it down.
Mittelgroßer Garten mit japanischen Pflanzen und Bauten. Relativ wenig los und kostenlos. Es gibt zahlreiche Enten und Koi-Karpfen. Mittlerweile ist der Garten komplett zugebaut, was schade ist.
The meal in this beach restaurant is quite pleasant. We are very happy to chat with the manager. He makes people feel very kind and patient. He is like getting along with the old customers. Other staff are also quite kind. From reception to dining, and the use of beach beds, etc., everyone is so kind and kind. Of course, the meal is not. It will look ordinary because it is a scenic spot. My son and I praise it. It's really delicious while eating! 😋😋😋😋😋
Amazing garden, beautifully maintained. First time visit was in 2010, it inspired my interest on Japanese gardens and the building of one at my home in Santiago de Compostela. The gardeners were very nice and we had a nice talk on the garden’s evolution and it’s maintenance, thank you for your time ❤️

One of the coolest animal parks I've ever visited, it's built on one of Monaco's cliff sides which makes it impressive.

During my visit to Monaco, I also visited the Japanese Garden with my family, which was recommended to me by friends. A very neat and imaginative garden in the Japanese style. Cooperation with the locals is also known. Our only complaint was the guard who was extremely unfriendly. In fact, it really happened that we entered the park with a small dog in our arms. A lady at the entrance told us that having a small dog on her lap is not a problem. We realized very quickly that this was not true, as this gentleman warned us very strongly about the possible punishment. Of course, we heeded the warning and immediately sent our daughter out with our little pet. I wrote this as a warning to dog owners to avoid problems. Otherwise, the garden is nice.
The zoo is amazing but the person selling the tickets is rude , no friendly at all, happy not to let people in, as if he is powerful. I come to the zoo regularly but i don’t want to come and see this face at the entrance again. It’s a shame to have someone like this in such a nice place.

Not really peaceful with the massive amount of noise coming from construction on one side and the engines revving at the Ferrari dealership on the other side. But it is a free place to sit down for a few minutes.

Schöner kleiner Garten inmitten von Baustellen und überbordendem Verkehr. Etwas schwer hier meditative Ruhe zu finden, aber die Schöpfer des Gartens haben ihr Bestes gegeben.
Könnte allerdings etwas mehr Pflege brauchen, die rote Brücke ist marode und gesperrt, das Wasser stinkt und ist ganz grün.

Beautiful quite place
Visited in May 2023. It's a little place where you won't see tigers or elephants. There's a hipo though. Little crocodiles, turtles, different rodents, peacocks and quite good collection of birds, some of them I haven't seen in other, much bigger zoos. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
The zoo was cheap, only 3 euros for students and 6 for regular entry, but it seemed a bit too small. They seem well taken care off, but in particular some of the birds, the hippo and the monkeys seem to just need some more space.
There were not many guests, probably because it's not the most impressive or well known zoo. If the living space for some of the animals could be enlarged, or if they could be transferred, I'd recommend this place for a nice short afternoon visit.

Very nice place, lots to see and enjoy but the noise from the building site next to it diminishes the experince of normally very peacefull and relaxing place.
5 stars because you can’t beat the price (free) and it was clean and mostly quiet. Only thing that needed attention was a broken bridge but it was cordoned off so looks like it’s being addressed. Fantastic option to enjoy a snack and listen to the water among the plants.

Small very convenient walk around! Kids friendly, has public toilet, you can purchase food inside with the coins and feed the domestic animals all are welcomed!

The admission fee is not very expensive (6€ for adults, 3€ for students). It sometimes felt like the cages were pretty small for the animals. Most of the animals are birds. The biggest surprise for sure was the hippo, which we definitely did not expect. There are also bats, monkeys or wallabies
They are not very big but they are quite nice
Nice little zoo in the heart of Monaco for a reasonable price. Some of the animals had nice clean cages and enough space. However, the main attraction - their hippo was not in such a good conditions and I would not be surprised if he is suffering from depression due to loneliness and a lack of vegetation in his cage :(
Nice little park that's immaculately kept just outside the casino (which I didn't go inside of). If you're coming from the station you'll come across this fairly quickly and what a site to see, the gardens with the casino in the background!
I had an amazing experience here. I would definitely love yo come back! The door only opens before 30 minutes.
Amazing, such an opulent building and surrounding very nice to get some pictures even if you don't want to go in the casino. The gardens which run up to the square are nice also.

Beautiful garden close by the casino. If you cannot afford the price of Monte Carlo restaurants this is a perfect spot to make a picnic, you'll find many doing the same.
