Just one word, Amazing!
One of the best historical museums I've seen, totally recommended.
Fascinating to be walking in the rooms where Mozart lived, composed, played. The audio is very informative and easy to follow.
Only comment would be that although the exact layout is not known, it would be splendid to walk around the furnitures from those times, decorated in the way that suits the best to Mozart's time...

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Visiting the Wien Museum Mozart Apartment is an immersive and captivating experience for anyone interested in classical music, history, or the life of Mozart himself. The museum is beautifully curated, offering a rich historical context that allows visitors to step back into 18th-century Vienna. The detailed exhibits provide not only insight into Mozart’s life and works but also the socio-cultural environment that shaped his genius.

The apartment itself is well-preserved, and the audio guide was both informative and engaging, helping to bring the space and its history to life. I particularly appreciated the thoughtful inclusion of lesser-known details about Mozart’s time in Vienna, which added depth to the more familiar aspects of his story.

For anyone interested in experiencing the world of one of history’s greatest composers, this museum is a must-see. Highly recommended.

It's a small but very interesting museum in order to see all the history of the Vienna Fire department.

Boring, it lacks diversity in colours and trees. The architect should be punished. Possibly the most boring large park I ever seen.
Luckily, in a pool we found a large snake (over 1 meter long) swimming to get out, our kid filmed it and enjoyed the snake experience. The snake saved the park, one star is for the snake.
Cute fast visit to Mozart museum. Take roughly 20min to visit all.
At 4th floor with no elevator. So lots of stairs.

Small gravesite in a well kept public cemetery.
Surprisingly good facilities (toilets).
The gravesite is unimposing but quaint, and very well kept. Only downside is that the cemetery is very much off the beaten track.
Still worth a visit, like any cemetery in Vienna!
Nice little place. Nothing particular, but a great calm.
The Mozarthaus Vienna (also known as the Figaro House) was Mozart's residence from 1784 to 1787. The building is located in Vienna's Old Town

This monument is next to Sisi museum. Details on it are fascinating
A bit expensive for what it is, but never the less you get to walk where Mozart did. There is an audio guide which reveals lots of interesting things. Photos are not allowed inside, unfortunately his piano is not there. You can get a taste of what it would have been like , however the rooms are mostly empty but it’s deeper with information you can read on the walls.

Mozart's honorary grave (cenotaph) is located in the St. Marx Cemetery, an old Biedermeier cemetery. Old tombstones, some crumbling, others overgrown with ivy, give it a special atmosphere. Particularly stunning in spring when the many lilac bushes are in bloom.
This building is where Mozart lived while in Vienna. It is now a museum and is made up mostly of empty rooms only with some portraits and other wall displays. There is not that much to see, therefore, but the audio guide gave some interesting information about episodes in Mozart's life. It was just about worth the €10 entrance fee.

Know that this is a memorial, not the actual grave of Mozart.
The cemetery is not active as such, but it is a fascinating place with hundreds of memorials from the 1700' to 1800's. if you like peace, wuirt, mystery and history, you'll enjoy this.
I didn't see restrooms available, and shops or subway stations are NOT within easy walking distance. Keep that in mind when planning your visit.

Wasn’t what I expected. It’s a modern, renovated building with screens showing history and information about Mozart. More of a digital experience rather than an authentic one. Not impressed personally.
Emperor Franz I
was Emperor of Austria, King of Hungary, and the ruler of the other states of the Habsburg monarchy from 2 December 1848 until his death in 1916.[1] In the early part of his reign, his realms and territories were referred to as the Austrian Empire, but were reconstituted as the dual monarchy of the Austro-Hungarian Empire in 1867. From 1 May 1850 to 24 August 1866, he was also president of the German Confederation.
Two top tips:

First, if you must go, get the audioguide - the whole place is pointless without it.

Second, do yourself a favour and don't go - even with the audioguide it is awful.

It's almost entirely copies of pictures, documents and portraits, plus a few digital "installations", beautifully presented to be fair. Much is of questionable relevance to Mozart and indeed to the saccharin audioguide. The very few artefacts dotted around are not even Mozart's. There's almost nothing to learn here, and it's not enjoyable.
Essen gut, Personal super, Preis OK. Gerne wieder!
Not worth the 14€ entry. Nothing original, all replicas and pictures of pictures.
Mostly bare apartment, no furniture and not many items relating to his life. Since there's not many items they try to create a narrative instead of letting pieces speak for themselves in many museums. Only the first floor of Mozart's apartment is about him, second floor and third floor are not.

Some rules were loosely enforced and seemingly against Asians only, notably the no backpacks/backpacks need to be worn in front & no photography allowed, when a lot of people were wearing backpacks and taking pictures and videos....

Nice park, calm and good maintain with flowers and benches. Good retreat from busy day, great site for a picknick, although not sure it is appropriate to have a picknick in a cemetery.
Mozarts grave is not actually a grave, but a place where it probably was his grave, nobody knows if it is true or not.
It is free to enter, but it closes at 20:00

Visited here last January 2024 in a cold winter afternoon...but the sky was already dark.
Well, the statues are impressive that sits in the Innerer Burghof courtyard.
Emperor Franz I statue is located at the center of surrounded by 4 ladies.
Under his statue, there is a description and it says : Amorem Mevm Popvlis Meis (I Love Myself with My People)
Hoping the city of Vienna especially the Tourism sector could fix and clean the statues cause the stains are visible.
It is 24/7 and free entrance.

why would mozart go to mozart death house? is he stupid?
Historical place to visit.
Complete cemetery is peaceful and worth visiting.
Not the house where Mozart died. İt used to be here, now it has the same address.
I didn't go inside but it was very interesting to see.

They are not fully sure if this was where his grave was, but it is as close as an estimate as possible. That's good enough for me! Quiet cemetary. It's a little out of the way to get to but wonderful all the same. Very pretty and well taken care of grave.

Nice statue on the property of the imperial palace (The Hofburg). There is a big square around the statue. We saw this statue before visiting the Sisi Museum, which is adjacent to it.

I came across this incredible sculpture located in the inner courtyard of the Hofburg while walking the streets of Vienna. This stunning sculpture is surrounded by historical buildings and a beautiful plaza area and architecture. The four statues at the base represent religion peace justice and strength.
Nothing to see except from a sign

Beside Mozart's memorial gravestone, here is the place where Vuk Stefanović Karadžić was originally buried. It's not crowded and the reconstruction of old gravestones is currently in progress but it's unobtrusive

Super freundlicher Empfang.

All the playground equipment has been removed. Right now you can only sit there and do nothing else. Not recommended to take kids there as it will be pretty boring 😅

A piece of musical history. Once upon a time when Mozart was at this area..

There is an impressive monument in the small courtyard at the Hapsburg Palace that is worth viewing when passing through the palace grounds between Michaelerplatz and Heldenplatz

This is a large scale monument and the works of Italian sculptor Pompeo Marchesi in 1846. Here you find Francis II, the last Holy Roman Emperor whose reign lasted from 1792 to 1806, standing in robe with sceptre in his left hand. His right hand is pointing to the right as if he is addressing a crowd in that direction.

The monument is standing upon a pedestal covered with bas reliefs. There are also four different bronze figures depicting moral virtues of religion, peace, justice and strength that surround the Kaiser Franz statue.

This is a nice monument to see for those who enjoy this type of sightseeing during their travels.
