Small but a good collection of machines and excellent value for money!
This is a very beautiful pond and a beautiful place to relax. Even in cold weather you can see people swimming and canoeing. Hot coffee and relaxing by the water always help recharge your batteries.
A must in Spain! I saw for the first time in my life red pandas, pandas and an bearcat??didn’t even know it existed!! Dolphins, aquarium, birds show and much more! Very entertaining!! I also saw pandas fighting, the most hilarious thing ahah

Had a lot of old school video games and 1 Indiana Jones pinball. It was fun. 3€ per person for however long.
Not sure what zoos some of the complaints are coming from, but this this is one of the better zoos I’ve been to. I’ve visited zoos all over the eastern US and Madrid zoo is as good, if not better. Yes these animals are in a cage, but they live the good life. There is no pleasant death in the wild.
We enjoyed ourselves and there is plenty to see. The aquarium is amazing for the life and size. Great destination while in Madrid. Only 15 minutes outside the city.

This palace was absolutely stunning and the views of the city were incredible. The rooms were gorgeous; however, I wish there were more current pictures/paintings of the reigning King, Queen, and their family. It only costs $12 for a self-guided tour, students under 25 can get in for $6. Also, pictures are only allowed in certain areas.
A must visit in the Madrid area. It has excellent train connectivity. The street vendors try to persuade you to buy toys or souvenirs. Be pickpocket aware and stay clear of groups of vendors.

Beautiful plaza, many restaurants with terraces, touristy. We went to the Tourist information office right there and got advice for more traditional bars (50-100yrs old).

It balances so many "rocks". Beautiful park, always full of people with many different areas to relax in, from the main lagoon to any of the 'cafes'. Beautiful Glass palace. Basically behind the El Prado museum.

This is a must see place in spaim for real madrid fans.
The tickets can be bought online.
The store has some shopping session with jourseys and other sports item. All are costly though starting with a tshirt costs 175 euro.
They do have museum for show casing the cups and medals. And thats a must view. Right now in August end 2023 they were doing some constructions and hence we couldnt see all part of stadium..

Very important that nowadays this supermarket is on restoration!
That place is really good, if you want to meet a lot of different new people and try a lot of different food - there’s the spot you need to dive in!!!
Meat, sushi, fish, cheese, olives, sandwiches, seafood etc. any best type of drinks!
The variety of the food is enormous!
Same with drinks!
There can be some trouble with finding a spot to sit or stand, but it flows quickly, so you just need to wait a couple of minutes..
Prices are good and affordable a bit higher than middle prices, but remember: you pay for feelings and company, and it is definitely worth it!
Amazing place to visit. We were hesitating going here or not but in the end we ended up braving the line which look like it would be hours, but it’s only 30 minutes to get in and had an awesome tour. The rooms really are breathtaking and hard to explain. Just do it and the cafe has a nice selection of food and wine. A nice way to wind down after the palace. Ohh and get the Carmels in the gift shop they are AMAZING.
One of my favorite museums in Europe and definitely Madrid. I love the layout and it’s not tooo crazy packed with people or art. The temporary exhibits are usually one of a kind and the first showing of art to the world audience. So nice and peaceful too. The cafe has a nice spread and good pours on the museum labeled wines.( also a good souvenir to take home).
AMAZING experience! 80,000 fans in the stands! I highly recommend anyone visiting to go to a game. I paid $60 USD for the worst seats on the stadium, and they were amazing! Not a bad seat in the house. The locals are very passionate about the team. When the team song came on before the game, many of the girls around me were crying during the song. So much passion! Please go to a game! Definitely worth it

This is one of my favourite places in Madrid. It's quite central and very close to a lot of markets, interesting tourist attractions and activities.

There are a lot of restaurants serving authentic Spanish dishes and deserts. If you can't find something you like, you can find other restaurants about a 3 minute walk from the main plaza.

There are also street performers that may be interesting to you and your kids. You can take photos with them too.

You can book tours and Flamenco dance shows around the plaza. You can also just walk around and take photos if that's you

But like any other popular tourist attraction. You need to be careful of pick pockets and scammers.

Overall, it was a great place, and I definitely recommend that everyone visits when they're in Madrid!

Puerta del Sol is an interesting place to see what urban culture is like in Madrid. You can find everything from street performers to important monuments and lots of stores and restaurants.

It's good for taking photos and this makes it one of the most popular places for tourists to visit in Madrid.

It's easy to transport yourself in and out of the area as there are train stations and bus stations very close by

I wouldn't recommend bringing very young kids here though as it can be very busy.
Very beautiful palace. I really enjoyed walking through the rooms and seeing all the art on the ceilings and great furniture. You can’t take pictures of most of the inside but it’s definitely worth going in.
The park is in construction period and it can't be possible to visit the players room, the meadow, even the VIP area. There are a lot of up stairs to see the top of the stadium. Bottom line, we didn't got the real feeling of the stadium so I don't recommend to visit at this period.
The museum was nice to see all the trophies of RM.

The Plaza Mayor in Madrid is an absolute must-visit when exploring the heart of this vibrant city. Stepping into this historic square feels like stepping back in time, and it's a true treasure trove of Spanish culture and history.

The architecture is simply breathtaking, with its stunning frescoes, intricate details, and the iconic red façade of the surrounding buildings. It's the perfect spot for photographers and history enthusiasts alike.

The atmosphere here is electric, with street performers, musicians, and artists adding to the lively ambiance. Grab a seat at one of the many outdoor cafes and enjoy some delicious Spanish cuisine while people-watching – it's an experience you won't forget.

Plaza Mayor also hosts various events and markets throughout the year, making each visit unique. Whether you're here during the holiday season with the dazzling Christmas market or during the summer months when the square is bustling with activity, you'll always find something exciting happening.

The Plaza Mayor's central location makes it an excellent starting point for exploring the city. It's within walking distance of many of Madrid's other top attractions, such as the Royal Palace and Puerta del Sol.

In summary, Plaza Mayor is a true gem in Madrid, offering history, culture, entertainment, and delicious food all in one place. Don't miss the opportunity to soak in the Spanish charm and energy of this remarkable square during your visit to Madrid. It's an experience you'll cherish forever!

Wow what a beautiful park, one of thr best I've ever been to, absolutely full of sculptures, statues, buildings, lakes, museums.

It's really amazing and an absolute must visit if in Madrid. Spent hours here.
The most tourist friendly of the Mercados. High quality products at an equally high price. Great food and variety but budget for around 20-40 euros per person, without drinks.
What a nice place!
We bought the ticket with the guide included and it was phenomenal!
The guide was a gentleman who knew a lot of the history of the place and between delicate and perfect jokes kept us interested in all about the palace.
Highly recommended.
This museum is great. It's large and well laid out. It feels like great value. We spent a good couple of hours there, and there was still a lot to see.

The temporary exhibition on the occult was perhaps one of my favourite ever. It had a huge variety of very well renowned artists. The themes were well explored, and it was brilliantly laid out.
I am not a huge football fan, but this tour was a real experience and really is a feat on engineering! The way that the stadium, (when completed), will transform into a multi-sport complex, is very well explained by way of video and frankly is quite amazing. Even if you are not a football fan, the Bernabéu is well worth a visit. We bought our tickets online and paid a little bit more to allow us the “flexible” entry option. We did not queue for photos with various trophies etc. and the whole tour, (the high was unaccompanied), took about 60 minutes.
Nice market. Quite crowded sometimes and honestly a lot of stuff is too overpriced. 17€ for a tiny portion of deep fried squid and not even freshly fried. I think you can find better food at a better price point. But if you want the market experience, go for it.

Much more than a simple park.
The Crystal Palace, the Rose Garden, the pond, and its adjoining monument...
But may be most of all the magnificent trees ask around.
A total must see and be in Madrid

Giant park in the middle of the town. Plenty to see, a lot of room to walk around and also some great scenery for pictures. Recommend checking it out if you are in Madrid.
Great place for kids! Many animals too see and enjoy and especially the Dolphins and the Aquarium are truly great and entertaining for kids.

You can always take a break and grab some food - to avoid queues, use the automated ordering system instead of ordering from the counter.

I wouldn’t recommend buying the food for animals they offer at the entrance, we did not had time to find all of the animals we could feed.

We have been there for good several hours and it was tiring for the kids. Bring a stroller.

The walk from the zoo to the metro is challenging and requires climbing up a steep hill, there’s a bus you can check too (we hadn’t)

So many paths and places to wander, filled with beautiful trees and delightful statues and water features. Skilled buskers add to the atmosphere. Definitely a welcome relief from the hot summer days to find a shady spot.
Pretty lake with fish and boats available to rent. Could do with more shaded areas, especially in Summer. Note the group of boats in one photo trying to fit under the solitary overhanging tree for shade on the August heat

El retiro park in Madrid is an absolute must see with vast expanse dotted with gorgeous gardens, sculpture and serene lake which provides a wonderful escape from the city .
You can enjoy this place whether your just strolling ,picnic or doing some exercises routine .
I recommend taking the paddling boats for 45 min
It costs 6 euro for 4 persons but need someone willing to steer and paddle
Very nice atmosphere and remarkable view
Waited in the line for 15 min or so.. there is skip fhe line tickets online, did not seem to be necessary
Choose the latest hours as i feel it is the best for the view
Sadly the pond is closed at 9 pm
In the heart of Madrid, where history whispers through the streets, stands the Royal Palace, a monument to grandeur and a testament to Spain's rich heritage. This architectural marvel, with its sweeping facades and majestic spires, is more than a palace; it's a living tapestry of art, culture, and opulence.

Upon entering the Royal Palace, one is immediately struck by the sheer scale of its beauty. The rooms unfold in a sequence of splendor, each one more breathtaking than the last. The wall coverings, adorned with intricate tapestries, fine silks, and gilded moldings, narrate stories of power and prestige. They are not mere decorations; they are masterpieces that transport you to a bygone era of elegance and refinement.

The decor of the palace is a symphony of craftsmanship and artistry. From the sparkling chandeliers to the hand-carved furniture, every detail is a celebration of skill and creativity. The blend of styles, from the Baroque to the Neoclassical, creates a visual feast that dazzles the eyes and stirs the soul.

But it's the opulence of the Royal Palace that truly sets it apart. The lavish use of gold, marble, and precious stones creates an ambiance of regal splendor. The Throne Room, with its crimson velvet and gleaming mirrors, epitomizes this sense of luxury, offering a glimpse into the lives of the monarchs who once called this palace home.

The scale of the Royal Palace is awe-inspiring, with over 3,000 rooms that sprawl across its vast grounds. The gardens, with their manicured lawns and elegant fountains, offer a tranquil respite from the city's hustle and bustle. Whether you're exploring the lavish halls or strolling through the serene gardens, the Royal Palace offers a journey into a world of beauty and magnificence.

A visit to the Royal Palace of Madrid is not just a tour; it's an experience that transcends time and space. It's a place where history comes alive, and artistry is celebrated in every corner. Whether you're a history enthusiast, an art lover, or simply a traveler seeking the extraordinary, the Royal Palace offers a glimpse into a world of splendor that resonates long after the last echo of footsteps fades away.

This park reminds me of Central Park in NYC, but a smaller version and it’s just as beautiful. I loved walking around here and taking in the various monuments, the large pond surrounded with people and also filled with people on the water. The vibes here were immaculate and if you’re looking to do something in Madrid or just wanting to relax then this is the place to be!

I visited in July and it was very very hot. Probably the wrong time to visit a zoo. The animals were great but the dolphin show was a disappointment as the show was really short with not much variation.
Absolutely worth it to visit, it's so beautiful side, marvel art and decoration. Most of those parts you aren't allowed taking pics only some rooms.
I found this Palace is the most the beautiful one so far in Europe.
👉Better get ticket in advance or have to wait long queue or even sold out!!

This is more or less like the centre or Madrid, from here you can walk around through the shopping street and restaurants. Lots of old beautiful historical buildings in the area.
The plaza itself is nice and relaxing, plenty of restaurants inside, totally worth to check it out!!

Very interesting, what a refreshing change to see lots of modern as well as historic art from the Masters and a limited number of religious paintings. You could lose yourself here for 2 hours easily. There is a free cloakroom where they ask you to leave large bags. Toilets on every floor and a lift or lots of steps. A small gift shop which has nice if expensive products.
One of my favorite markets anywhere. The variety of food and desserts is expansive. You can try a little bit of everything, or a lot of one. The vendors serve a wide variety of visually enticing gastronomical delights. It’s almost a shame to eat the artistically presented treats, but one must do his/her duty. You can also wash down your lunch with a glass of grape or a pint of beer. It gets very crowded at lunch so keep a close eye on the tables for a spot.

My favourite place to visit in Madrid! So many delicious food vendors selling the most beautiful and tasty tapas! So much variety and selection. Quite a bit busier than when we last visited 10 years ago, but the quality has stayed the same. A bit on the pricey side but everything is so filling you will likely only be able to try a few things.
Visited here for about 3 hours and had the best time in Madrid at this park. The experience was like going to a carnival of festival. If I came back again, this would be the first thing I do is come to this park.
The zoo is really big and lots of animals. Perhaps should be less animals in one place as it seems some of the places are too crowded. This zoo is much better than many other zoos in Europe.

Plaza Mayor in Madrid is a vibrant and bustling square that offers a delightful experience to visitors. The enchanting ambiance is complemented by a varyety of restaurants and shops within and around the area, catering to all tastes. Its central location makes it easily accessible by various means of transportation. A visit during the evening is highly recommended when the square comes alive with the glow of lights, creating a magical atmosphere. The combination of history, culinary delights, and the enchanting evening lights makes Plaza Mayor a must-visit destination for anyone exploring the heart of Madrid. Have a Sangria with Jamon watching the plaza, it´s very nice!
Culinary Delight! A food lover's paradise! The market offers a wide variety of fresh and high-quality culinary treasures. From tapas to international delights, every bite is bursting with flavor. The communal ambiance adds to the experience, making it a must-visit spot for locals and travelers alike.
Ok it’s a zoo, but still have dolphins in a swimming pool and chimpanzee in cages..
I saw a rhinoceros bleeding bcs he hit himself many times with a barrier. Sad moment ..
instead of that it’s a clean place. They have water around the parc, and plenty of places for snack and fast food.
Incredible!!! We were there when it was under construction (still under it) but it is incredible even so. We do the tour and it was fantastic. The best stadium in the world!!!!
I'm going to be honest, I didn't go inside but I would if I budgeted better. It's only £12 entry, I'm just here backpacking for a festival. The grounds however were stunning and the view was amazing. The inside is supposed to be stunning and a lot of people's fav palace. My tour guide says he loves documentaries but it took him three trips to get through all the audio guide content. There is tons. Anything and everything you want to know about in there, they have info on it. So good for people who love interior design, architecture, and history. But the outside is stunning.

Buy your tickets in advance to skip a long queue.
An absolute must. Everything I ate was amazing. The whole vibes is amazing. Hard to find a place to actually eat you're probably gonna be standing shoulder to shoulder with a stranger. But we made some new friends that way. Will be going back.
3 euros for the entry, no need to wait, very interesting exhibition, good place to stay in such a hot summer.

This bustling square offers a variety of restaurants, coffeeshops, shopping opportunities and it's a good place to explore the smaller streets converging to it.

There are a few entry points to the metro line "Sol".

The square is surrounded by beautiful buildings, architecture typical of Madrid, and features the famous statue of the "Bear and strawberry tree" and the clock tower (not to be mixed with the one from BTTF)

Overall a nice place to take some load off and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere.
An incredible museum with works ranging over hundreds of years. While it is open for free on Monday the special exhibits are not available during this free entry time. I found it worth the cost to be able to go to the special exhibit also. In May 2023, when I went, the special exhibit was Lucian Freud. The permanent collection is extensive and contains several excellent works from Spain and around the world.
Go for it! We stopped into the Cafe one floor below first for churros and chocolate first. Both were worth the price of admission.
The place after few years renovating, now it is more green and clean. There also have many amusement facilities, so many parents can bring their kids to play here. And there has a huge square that can host some concerts and events.
It is really good to have a big park in the city center.

It’s a great activity to do with friends, family or couples. Only 8€ for a boat, 4 person per boat, for 45min.
There is also music all around the park which sets a very enjoyable mood.
I do recommend to reserve your time slot the day before on the website or the app so you don’t have to wait in the queue.

Lovely experience, so many animals, more than we anticipated. I was looking forward seeing red pandas, but there didn't appear to be any around. The goats were so fun in the little farm area. They kept on trying to eat my baggy shirt which was hilarious. The aquarium too was amazing. The windows are massive and you can see right through to the end of this massive tank. Very nice experience, and I would go again if I come back to Madrid
Amazing private collection of art, almost 800 pieces! Also currently the only major art museum in Madrid that has free hours for more than 2 hours: 12-4pm on Sundays (line was 15 minutes). Great collection of ancient and medieval Christian art, Dutch masters, Spanish painters - and 20th century European and American art movements, including some very contemporary pieces. You could spend all day in here - but it's not overwhelming or overcrowded like the Prado or Reina Sofia. Don't miss it!
Still allowed to tour the facility even though it was under heavy construction. Wish they would've had a gift shop. But we did get a view of the field & able to sit in the old stadium seats that will soon be ripped out.

Our first major site in Madrid, touristy? Sure. Hot? Yes. Crowded? Absolutely. But large enough were you can secure a space to people watch. A must visit. Take your photo at the bear and madrono statue, the official symbol of Madrid, and stand in the middle of Kilometro Cero, which is the starting point for 6 major Spanish highways. The lack of shade and seating gives the feel that they don't want a lot of loitering here and would rather move the people into the connecting streets that offer food, shopping, shade etc.

Puerta del Sol is the center of Madrid. It is one of the most touristic spots in the city, since most of the tourist attractions are located around the semicircular square. On its eastern side is also one of the most emblematic symbols of the city: the statue of the bear and the strawberry tree (El Oso y el Madroño) It is only a three-minute walk from the Plaza Mayor and there is ""kilometer zero"", where the measurement of distances on Spanish roads begins.
Puerta del Sol takes its name from the sun emblem on the old city gate, which used to be here. Puerta del Sol was the scene of many historical events, including the Spanish resistance to Napoleon on May 2, 1808, and in 1931 the Second Republic was proclaimed.
In the square there is the famous clock on top of the Casa de Correos, whose bells mark the traditional consumption of the twelve grapes and the beginning of the new year. There is also a tradition during the ritual that with each strike of the clock you should eat a grape for good luck (12 in total).
Opposite the square, at the beginning of Calle Alcalá, Madrid's longest street, you will find the famous Oso y Madroño. The official symbol of the city, the statue of a bear eating a strawberry is a popular meeting point.
On the other side of the square, at the beginning of the pedestrian Calle del Arenal that leads to the Teatro Real Opera House, there is a replica of the La Mariblanca statue. The original, which dates back to the 17th century and once adorned a fountain in this very spot, is now kept in the Casa de la Villa.
The third and largest statue of Puerta del Sol is located in the center of the square and depicts King Charles III of Spain on horseback. During his reign, the monarch introduced so many progressive reforms and gave the city such a makeover that he earned the nickname the best mayor of Madrid.
From the Puerta del Sol square begins the Calle del Arenal pedestrian street that connects it to the Plaza de Isabel II (Ópera) and has many shops. From the square begins the Calle de Preciados pedestrian street with its countless shops that offers relentless shopping.

Retiro Park in Madrid offers a mesmerizing combination of nature, architecture, and history. Its serene lakes, lush greenery, and abundant wildlife create a tranquil oasis that invites visitors to immerse themselves in its natural beauty. The park's architectural gems, including the magnificent Crystal Palace and the mysterious Fountain of the Fallen Angel, add an air of elegance and intrigue to the surroundings. With over 125 hectares of sprawling space, Retiro Park provides ample room for various activities such as jogging, cycling, and picnicking. Its expansive size ensures there's something for everyone, from leisurely walks to intense workouts. Whether seeking solace in nature or a place to stay active, Retiro Park is an enchanting destination that captivates with its picturesque landscapes, stunning architecture, and abundant opportunities for relaxation and recreation.
This is a construction site at the moment summer 2023. But it will be amazing when finishing. Not sure quite why they need a retractable roof, but it going to be a fantastic engineering marvel.

In Madrid, there once existed a bustling public square, serving as a popular meeting place for the locals. Dominating the square was the renowned post office of Madrid, lending credence to the famous adage that news reached the square even before events unfolded.

Crowning the aged post office building, a celebrated clock captivated the attention of all. As the clock's hands approached midnight on New Year's Eve, the square would fill with eager individuals, each clutching twelve grapes. At the stroke of twelve, the clock resounded twelve times, marking the cue for everyone to consume a grape with each chime.
One of the best art museums I've ever visited. Such a wide variety of paintings from eras, countries, artists. Amazing temporary exhibitions too. Highly recommended - much better than the Prado and Reina Sofia museums!
The museum which depicts the past traces of Spain and Iberian peninsula
Interesting, but quite limited as exhibits. Also with an incomplete representation of the regions of the globe, even the continents. I expected much more than ethnographic exhibits, to better understand anthropology.
I was there on a Monday when they have free entry, a wonderful place, one of the warmest and most welcoming places in Madrid. although I spent 3 hours there, I'm sorry I couldn't stay longer because it closed, but I'll definitely come back. you are allowed to take pictures, I mention it because you are not allowed in all places. the map is downloaded on the phone. they have some works from some representative artists of the periods in the history of art, but wonderful works! a wonderful place, I recommend it
This is a nice small museum celebrating culture, religion and life worlds in Asia, Africa and the Americas, and how they were affected during European occupation. There are some really interesting artefacts - I liked the musical instruments, textiles and models of gods and religious figures. This part of Spanish history isn't often covered extensively in other museums - history buffs will definitely enjoy it.
Such a cool experience to watch Real Madrid play here. The stadium is under construction which made the experience a little less enjoyable, but we still had a great time. The vibe outside the stadium before game time was so chill. The retractable roof is really cool looking and the seats are all well laid out.

An incredible city park! It's large, well maintained, and very family friendly. It's great for running, walking, picnics, and dog walking. There are so many areas that are all structured for varying activities and interests. There are play areas for younger kids, green spaces for whatever suits you, and workout areas if that's what you're looking for. All and all I'm very impressed.

Beautiful open plaza with statues and gardens. Nice and spacious. Well lit at night. A good place for a stroll close to many important sights and transportation.
I have to say, it was an amazing experience. I am giving it a well-deserved 5-star rating. The palace exudes a captivating atmosphere that transports you to a different era. The grandeur and beauty of the architecture left me in awe.

Exploring the different rooms and halls was a treat for history and art enthusiasts like myself. The attention to detail in the decorations and furnishings is impressive. Each room has its own unique charm, and I couldn't help but admire the exquisite craftsmanship.

The palace grounds are equally magnificent, offering stunning views and well-maintained gardens. It's a perfect place to take a leisurely stroll and soak in the ambiance. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing valuable information about the palace's history and guiding us throughout our visit.

If you have the opportunity to visit Madrid, I highly recommend paying a visit to Palacio de Real Madrid. It's a must-see attraction that will leave you with unforgettable memories. Whether you're interested in history, art, or simply want to appreciate the beauty of this majestic palace, you won't be disappointed.
Such a beautiful building, very lively place, lots of buskers around and cute people dressed up in bears or lions costumes. You can also rent a boat and paddle around, lots of big fishies and ducks in the pond. The garden itself is spectacular. Bring some spare changes with you to tip the buskers.

Very impressive square with colorful buildings and people walking around. The history is interesting too - not always happy moments there but a must-see place in Madrid. If you stay there to eat or drink, you should take care of your personal belongings.

Puerta del Sol is a very busy square in the centre of Madrid. It leads you into 10 very interesting streets. On one side, it is shaped as one third of a circle and on the other side is straight.

Square no turist (and locals of course) can't miss while in Madrid. This central square is home of Kilometer Zero and El oso y el Madroño statue. This square is more crowded during nightime, but can be also packed with turists during the day.
We visited the zoo with friends when we were travelling in Madrid. The ticket price is quite expensive, but considering the size of the zoo, we initially thought it was justified. The peacocks and bunnies roam freely, which we liked very much. The aquarium is solid, as are the facilities of some of the animals. However, many of the animals have small cages, dirty and outdated. We were very disappointed with the whole experience and would not recommend it!
Nice open area with plenty of performers, old buildings, restaurants nearby and very lively with access to metro (Sol). Nice easy walk from Plaza Mayor and you will enjoy a good hour or so. Of course the iconic bear hugging the tree is there as well !!
Great place to have a picnic or a run/ walk. Highly recommend 1-2 hours to cover the grounds and see all the historical and sculptural pieces. Entry is free.
Well curated and interesting museum featuring exhibitions from three different continents. In each exhibit case different topical items are displayed alongside a text box, which contains additional information about some of the items and their use and history. The experience in the museum was very good, however, I initially thought the museum would be much larger and was slightly disappointed that it only took about an hour to see everything. Also, the entry is free for students.
A very nice square, there is a fun playground for children, close walking distance to the palace and gardens. There are people in the square making art. You can have a great view of the square and the city from the RIU Hotel opposite the square.
We had a wonderful time here. They have a huge permanent collection. Plus we enjoyed seeing 2 of the temporary exhibits. The Ukrainian show was quite impressive. By chance, we went on one of the free days, the line was incredibly long, but moved incredibly fast and we had no problem getting in. The staff was very nice. Well worth the visit
Nice museum spread over three floors with friendly staff and just a €3 entry fee. Nicely laid out but the content is quite basic. The exhibits are just informative generally. This is a high school level exhibition really but good enough to pass away an hour or so.
A place where you can just go and play classic arcades? Awesome!
I arrived this morning right at about 11am and was let in free. But the cost of €3 (read in another review below) is will worth your time to see the exhibits on display here.

Wow! Spain has definitely made their historical mark on the world. Ground floor is Asia (mostly Philippines). First floor is Africa. Second floor is Americas. This museum is a great reminder how much influence Spain has had throughout the years of history following their glory years of exploration and colonization.

You can probably get through this museum within an hour if you really rush. Two hours is more appropriate to see and appreciate everything. I went through in about 90 minutes or so and really feel enlightened by everything I saw and read.

I snapped some pictures, but they don't really do justice, so make sure you go if you can carve out time. It's well worth it.
Three floors of well put together exhibits. Almost everything was smallish and inside a case, so you don't feel up close. Small enough to not be exhausting. A good way to spend a couple of hours.
