Not so much a market as a collection of couple of dozen stalls each specializing in certain type of gastronomy, with delicious foods that you can try on the spot. Very crowded but if you are a little patient you can always find some space at the tables to taste taste the food. While being a majour tourist attraction, the crowd seemed to be surprisingly local

What a fun place to visit! It was crowded at 4pm but nobody seemed to notice as I think it gets more so later in the evening. Don't miss coming here! One of our tour guides told us this place has 4 Michelin star chefs. Wow! We thought we ordered the chicken croquettes but we really ordered ? fried pork belly so we ended up with both because they looked so good. I loved the pork belly with the lemon mayo drizzle from the chicken. The servers are super nice and so accommodating for us that don't speak Espanol. I'll be heading back today to try the seafood options that were plentiful.

San Miguel Market was bustling with people, even in the late afternoon. To be honest, I didn't like it as much, but I can't deny that it's a good experience and great for having a quick bite of various small dishes. Despite my personal preference, I appreciated the opportunity to try different foods in one place.

This is definitely a must visit in Madrid, however I wouldn’t plan around it. You can get in and out fairly quickly and try a bunch of different things. Make sure you come with an appetite as there is many things to try and they’re very affordable. The best thing we had was the calamari and shrimp!

Really great place to try out a lot of different tapas. We went on a Saturday morning and it was really crowded but still manageable.
Our favorite thing we ate were the taco bowls, all of them had great flavors. My favorite was the shrimp with egg one.
Definitely recommend to everyone coming to visit Madrid!

The fruit market/ stand here is an absolute treasure trove of freshness. I can’t emphasize enough how remarkably fresh the fruits are here; it’s a testament to their unwavering commitment to quality. During our visit, we opted for two freshly squeezed juices and two medium-sized fruit bowls. These bowls were generously filled with a tantalizing mix of grapes, mangoes, pineapples, grapefruit, and kiwis. Each bite was like a burst of revitalizing energy, making us feel like we were floating on cloud nine.

Adding to the charm of our visit was the exceptional customer service. The staff was not only friendly but also incredibly attentive, going above and beyond to ensure our experience was delightful. Their warmth and helpfulness elevated our visit to the fruit market.

Great market!! It's not huge, but the selection is very good quality. There are bunch of tapas shops, and some other local vendors, mainly food related. The tapas that I got were very good and fresh. It was busy though. And they serve alcohol, and there's some seating inside the market. Great place overall and I'd definitely recommend it.
