Very nice

Beautiful place. Nice wide trails. Good amount of shade. Doesn’t feel sketchy.

Great Selection of Art!!!, Beautiful Building, just Wish more of the Original Home with Furniture. A Must See in San Antonio!!

Really nice park to go walk around and take in the sites. Has lots of views and a path down to the river. Very relaxing place.

I had an educational experience I do highly recommend you visit. It was a wonderful delight the staff was so friendly and had the greatest knowledge and hospitality. Melissa and Camille were so helpful. They had the greatest smiles and were so quick to answer questions. The staff as you check in were also friendly I felt like I was at home I will be back to visit again soon. There was so much to see in so little time. Thank you Alamo College’s Honor Society Ms. Coleman and Ms. Norma for setting up this wonderful opportunity.

This park has uneven brick pads, and it's got some homeless people coming in and out. Aside from that I guess it's pretty decent playground equipment looks nice and there's ample shade. Not bad overall

This is a must see if you are in San Antonio the restaurant has an amazing view good food & service. Lil spendy but I understand this isn't you average dining experience as the floor slowly rotates as you eat giving you a view of San Antonio from 700+ ft in the air. The 4D theater short films were a riot they are only 20 minutes but worth it and free with the pass. I recommend going at more towards the evening so you can see views in daylight and night as well.

Beautiful park. First time here, picking up trash with the San Antonio River Authority. There was prior flooding, leaving loads of trash on the riverbank. This park is very rich in biodiversity and very peaceful.

This museum is astonishing! It features not only ancient artifacts but also a wide range of art from present-day contemporary to 1800s historical works. It has multicultural sections and is very easy to navigate. Just to make sure, they even provide maps. One of the cool features is the glass Skywalker bridge at the top of the building. It's very reasonably priced, and they even do military rates for those who are or have served. It's easy to pass 3 to 4 hours in this place if you're really into the stories behind the pieces.

Great variety of art represented. The building itself is a work of art, with beautiful architectural features. Loved my afternoon visit. Very thought provoking and peaceful.

The McNay is a gorgeous and extensive art museum housed in an equally stunning Spanish style mansion. There's something for everyone here - paintings by the masters, modern art, glass work, metal work, sculptures, special displays, the list goes on. Honestly, it's almost impossible to cover all the displays including the sculptures in the grounds in a single day. Can't wait to be back soon!

Overall it’s still improving the park and its function could do better if the restroom would be clean a little better without that urine smell still sticking around so overall it’s still a good park

I will say this place is rather small for the cost of what it is. Usual MAs are around the same price but twice the size. That aside, this is really well maintained. Not too many rotating exhibits coming twice in two years there was nothing new to see.

Visited this place over a Fall Weekend and had just the most amazing time enjoying the gorgeous structures. The paths are all paved, I can see this being a great first date spot.

Such a beautiful museum and grounds.
I was truly impressed with both the current exhibit, the de la Torres brothers, and the permanent exhibits whi h checked all the right boxes-Monet Water Lilies,Picasso, etc.
The building itself was wonderful and the grounds are a pleasant study in serendipity.

Finally! After years of driving by I went here. It's a really nice park. The Tower has several things you can do. Go to observation deck very informative walls, eat at the restaurant, watch short 4D movies, gift shop,

Not only the river walk is an attraction in this city, the plaza, the Alamo, the buildings…This place is amazing for your photos, for any occasion. In this particular time we spent the weekend for our wedding anniversary, taking pictures of us in different areas. Here I’m sharing you my favorites, I hope you enjoy your stay in San Antonio and create lovely memories with your love ones.

My plus one and I attended a private event through Yelp Elite and were far from impressed with the organization of the event - we were not disappointed with anything, but how we came to ask ourselves how we have not heard of Briscoe Western Art Museum!? The museum is tucked in the heart of downtown in a beautiful building -
The staff were overwhelmingly friendly, welcoming, and informative. We were given a tour of how the art gallery came together and history of the artists themselves. I assumed we would come into frame with oil paintings and art drawing pieces, but the thought of seeing sculptures slipped my mind.
The Procession by Paul Moore which was a bronze and bronze wood painting that depicted 3D form, the Northern Plateau Women by Doug Hyde which was a beautiful pink Portuguese marble, the Chiricahua Apache by Allan Houser which was bronze art, and the Buffalo Nickel by Greg Woodard which was bronze art and 3D form. Absolutely stunning.
The event ended with a showing of the movie, Killers of the Flower Moon which I highly recommend to watch! Outstanding performances.

What an awesome service/customer experience! The ladies who work there were so welcoming and kind. Their aura made me want to obtain a membership and I truly enjoyed the art // exhibits. I will definitely be returning with friends and family for new installations.
I was also happy with how clean the place was!

We really enjoyed this museum and the special exhibit “Survival of the Fittest” which was amazing. The space is very large and it’s well laid out. The sculpture garden and Riverwalk area is also beautiful. The diorama of the Alamo is definitely worth seeing along with all of the fantastic paintings and bronzes. We spent 3 hours but I could have spent more time. Don’t miss this gem.

I can't believe I waited so long to visit the McNay Art Museum! They have free admission every first Sunday, which is great for people working or in school M-F. The beautiful grounds, building, and courtyard were a work of art themselves. I love the intimate feel of viewing art in small rooms of the home. Staff was always friendly and helpful.

A great historic sight to visit. Lots of old artifacts to see.

The park is located in a great location to start your walk or bike ride along the San Antonio River. There is plenty of parking and the park patrol patrols the area.

At the beginning we thought it would a 30_45 minutes small museum but what a phenomenal surprise...a lot of activities , rooms, themes, scultures, we were really amazed and plan to come back with more time.

Tower of the Americas wzs a lot of fun. An exciring elevator ride to the observation deck. Fantastic views of the San Antonio area. Beautiful water fountains on the ground. The 4D theater is included in the price. Saw an Angry Birds movie. Another about Texas as seen from a helicopter. A fun and must see experience for sll.

Went for Cowboy Day and had a fantastic time! The Art displayed was beautiful. The vendors were creative and informative. The staff and volunteers did a phenomenal job! It truly was a great experience and a beautiful day to boot!

McNay Museum was so enjoyable for my family. My grandson was very impressed with the sculptures, paintings and the landscape outside. The artwork was truly captivating!

This place is simple , yet pretty tranquil. The pavilion is popular for kids birthdays and even random events. You could rent out the pavilion or choose to walk along the provided trail and fish the river along side of it.

The McNay is San Antonio's most iconic art museum, and one of the greatest house museums I've ever visited. The standing collection and visiting exhibits rival most large city museums. The building and grounds are as spectacular as the art itself. The new building adds for and exhibit space without much altering the charm of the old building.
The museum also has a small parking lot and gift shop.

Nice museum with collections from all over the world. The Latin American exhibit is under construction but there is still plenty to see! Adults were $22. We spent about 3 hours here!

Great piece of history. We parked on Market street and only paid $4 for 2 hours vs the parking lots charging $20. Walked over to the plaza. They do free entrance to the church but you still have to get tickets. We walked around and also did the short film. It’s not a huge place but definitely worth a visit.

My partner and I spent a day in San Antonio just to visit the museums and we were not disappointed. The selection of pieces that were put on display were breathtaking and so beautiful. I loved the works in the Latin American galleries and I was amazed at the amount of pieces that were in the Catholic section. I really love the diverse art within the museum and how it was all organized. My partner and I were given complimentary admission since I’m a museum worker (which was amazing), but I believe this museum is worth every penny. I definitely recommend this museum to anyone who is looking for beautiful art.

Beautiful museum! Lots of artifacts to look see from different eras and locations. It's amazing to compare & contrast between the clothes, uniforms, saddles, guns, swords and buildings. Take a stroll through the many art sculpted and painted; reminisce what life could have been like by reading the captions, poems and listening to the audio recordings. Perfect for self guided tours, history lovers and to peak children's interest in History. It was our first time here, but we will be coming back. Place was immaculate, clean, spacious and well planned. Don't forget to visit the souvenir shop for sweet finds for all budgets! Paid parking is located every where. Thanks!

Such a huge museum, it just keeps going with so much to see. My family and I enjoyed all of the exhibits, we went on locals day on Sunday and wasn't too busy. I would recommend for free family fun, my son is 6 and didn't get too bored but was ready after an hour and a half to leave.

Visiting Espada Dam. Great fishing spot, no luck but fun practice. Go earlier in the day for cooler waters. We parked in the roundabout near the pavilion. Brought our umbrellas, chairs, small cooler, and fishing gear. I sat under the trees but there are also nice cemented steps for far casting through out the trail. Lots of history and wildlife to explore you can either walk or bike.

An exceptional museum! Probably one of the best I've visited. Everyone was knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. The mansion and grounds are beautiful. I'll be visiting again.

I'm always up for visiting a tower/building with an observation deck. The views from Tower of the Americas @ Hemisfair certainly did not disappoint !
What was disappointing was the broken audio on the Six Flags over Texas display. Only 1 or 2 worked properly or at all.
Also the place is very dated and needs some renovations to bring it into 2024. It felt stuffy in the indoor observation deck, smelled like febreeze.
The short movies shown at the base of the tower were very enjoyable.

We went on a Wednesday and the place almost seemed abandoned. There were very few other people there which was nice. I imagine it's much busier on weekends. It's only $18 and you get to go up to the observation as many times as you want all day. It also includes the 4D videos. (Not sure I recommend the 4D videos as they were somewhat entertaining but the 4D experience was very lacking). We spent quite a bit of time in the observation area. It was fine trying to find various places around the city. Side note: the gift shop is very affordable.

I went to Confluence Park for a walk and exercise. It was my first time there. I enjoyed the beauty of the park and the trail runs along the river. I didn't look for any other facilities.

This is a nice place to go for a walk . It's also a nice place to go if you're looking to do senior or prom pictures. I go often and will continue to go. I highly recommend this place.

Great bus line. Can buy a all day pass for 2.75. If you have to get downtown first. Once there just walk around and enjoy yourself

This is a Great little architectural park that overlooks the San Antonio river. The trail below leads south to the mission trail and north into downtown and the Alamo. There is also a small community classroom. It's also a popular spot for wedding and graduation photos each time I've visited. Grab a rental ebike here and you can get just about anywhere in the city.

A really nice museum, although I was a bit surprised that most of the art is actually fairly modern. Although the 3rd floor was a personal favorite with historical artifacts like spurs, saddles, and items related to the Era of the Alamo.

Enjoy a bike ride in the Downtown area in San Antonio Texas

This is where you’re going to take the best, and most iconic, photos of the Alamo

My children from toddler to teen love it here. There’s a toddler area, splash pad, 3 mini swimming pools, Yanaguana garden 5 a.m until midnight. There’s areas for picnic , swings, climbing. Overall, a nice place for photos and a day out.

Been coming to this park since I was a kid. Now my children get to enjoy it

This museum is amazing. I haven’t been in many years but visited recently to check out the armor exhibit (available until May 12). After the armor exhibit (very cool btw), we wandered through the other exhibits. They have an amazingly cool variety of art to explore. The building itself is also cool, it used to be a brewery and has a lot of history.

A wonderful place to visit. We had lunch at the top of the tower and the chart House restaurant. Got a very good selection on the lunch menu and you could also order from the dinner menu if you preferred. The view was outstanding. Service wasn't all that great. Our server was not very attentive. She didn't seem to know very well what she was doing. We didn't want to go on the observation deck after dining but they told us it was an additional $12 to go upstairs. We really didn't think it was worth it just been another $24 just to go up the stairway. It would probably be a better idea if they would allow access to their dining guests. I believe the cost was $18 for gas and $12 for dining guests.
It is what it is.
I believe if I live there I would dine there much more often if the deck was open to dinars. Otherwise it's one of those things if you've done it once you probably don't need to do it again.

We had fun taking pictures, but too expensive for what it is. All the floors need to be cleaned, same as the toilets, some tripods are broken and not replaced.

Oct.2021 The Alamo plaza is spacious and a bustling area with people from all over the world. During the holidays there is a beautiful well decorated tree for everyone to enjoy. Regular season there are spots to take those wonderful pictures.

Honestly one of the best museums I've been too, and with ticket prices of $14 for adults and $12 dollars for high school students, this museum has the best value.
There are three floors each with Western paintings and sculptures. Whether you appreciate the landscape of the West, the culture of the West, or the people of the West, this museum will have something for you!
*Given you adore the American West

My husband and I visited on Tuesday because bexar county residents get in free from 4-7. The parking lot was right across the street and parking was $7. There were so many beautiful pieces to see and the new exhibit of knights and the armor they wore was spectacular. I really admired all the intricate details that were on each piece. To see how armor has changed through the ages was fascinating. I love art and my husband who isn't enjoyed seeing the work that goes into each piece. We enjoyed our time there and will definitely be back again.

Went for Sounds on the River benefit event. River area looked nice. Venue is good for small-medium sized events. Very small parking lot that needs to be finished or completely redone. Clean and has cool architectural features.

So much history in this plaza. This is where a lot of the monuments are located that commemorate the Alamo and the men who fought there. If you take a tour. They walk you through the plaza and the different monuments. During the battle of the Alamo, the plaza was contained within the fortifications surrounding the mission.

Awesome Downtown!

We took the toddler with us to visit the Alamo. We were able to take several unobstructed photos of the mission, and the little one was able to get some of his wiggles out while in the area. Recommend bringing a wagon or stroller for the little ones though as this area requires a bit of walking.

MY CHURCH HAD OUR FIRST MARCH ..

Great little fishing opportunities along the riverside. This is where I caught my first fish so it holds a bit of a special spot to me. Not a whole lot of clear open shade spots in the summer, bring water, bring adventurous spirit.

Here to stay SA

I love this park. Went there for yoga today with lots of other people. There is a river flowing down the park. It feels really nice walking there. There are paved trails too! There is a nice restroom too!

While standing outside on the plaza, after an incredibly hot day, an amazing sunset showed itself. A spectacular, fleeting moment inadequately captured.

It was our first time there. Location is prime and is located walking distance from almost everything is downtown like Alamo, river walk and hotels. We were surprised when we walked in that we were the only ones there. We were gerentes nicely and explained how to use the stands. Some of the set ups are really cool and you can take amazing photos. It would be better if they explained what the setting means and how to set up your camera for best results. The so-called museum is no more than a few square feet in size and can be finished in 15-20 minutes, with all the expositions crammed up next to each other. I would like to see more organized setups, with author explanation, desired outcome, and more backdrops like the upside down bed. Overall is ok and think the tickets are over priced for the experience.

I have been to the Alamo Plaza many times in the past during my travels to Texas and San Antonio and have always enjoyed my time visiting here. This most recent visit here at the Alamo Plaza felt like the plaza area was much larger than what I remembered it being as well as much more to see in it. Some of the notable attractions I saw this time were the sculpture of David Crockett, the San Antonio Cenotaph also known as the Spirit of sacrifice and more as well as much more in the future as they are doing major improvements to the Alamo and Alamo Plaza. I definitely recommend checking out this historical landmark and seeing all the stories and history here at both the Alamo and Alamo Plaza. I will definitely be back again when in San Antonio as it is one of my favorite places to visit.

Always so beautiful. Everyone says good morning. I've made park friends where we see one another and chat a little. We encourage each other and talk about weather. Every morning at the park is a moment of peace and place to clear my head while exercising.

Good

Nice park. Love the painted benches where they have the pollinating garden. The walk along the greenway is nice. The only thing I didn't care for much was the parking lot. All the loose gravel. But it does help slow down those who like to drive fast into a parking lock and pull out fast as well. This park is well used. Very nice.

I just had my baby shower there with my wife and it was amazing definitely a place we would consider getting again

I took my 10 y/o and her bff during spring break. They had the absolute best time. The gentleman there was so nice and helpful. He interacted with EVERYONE and still managed to keep everything running smoothly. All the rooms were amazing, fun and thought out! This place is definitely catered to people of all ages. I saw girls, teens, parents and even grandparents getting in on the action. My girls could not stop talking about their visit. Thanks for everything! We’ll definitely be back, and better prepared 😉

It was a clean park, very well taken care of, good hiking trails, but there was trash in the river where people don't clean up after themselves, a lot of land to run around in, I highly recommend it

From the beginning to the end it was a perfect experience. The gentleman who helped us was so nice and deserves a big raise. Highly recommend this place for locals and non-locals. A lot memories were made here with my son. This is such a family friendly place.

The playground needs to be updated. The playground looks so dirty besides the graffiti there’s trash on the playground. It feels so unwelcoming here. I just feel like the city needs to make this area better for kids. No

Choice small park. Nice variety of plants and walkway. Sidewalks have hidden charms like diamonds or writing in stones. This park has a very relaxing and calming effect on me as I was walking through. Very well maintained and kept up.

I walked a little down every trail and they are all nice. I saw other walkers and people with dogs. There's a lot of picnic tables and even a huge covered picnic area that you can call to reserve. There was minimal trash and I saw people walking around, picking up the trash. There was plenty of shady areas while you walked any of the trails. It's really cool seeing the river so placid in some areas and more furious in others. This place would have five stars from me except the portapotties were absolutely disgusting and I saw a worker poke his head into one before walking away from it.

A very small park that's part of Ruby City art gallery with paved paths and well maintained greenery. It's a peaceful walk. I enjoyed reading the phrases written into the cement benches. There are restrooms as well.

One of our very favorite things we did while visiting San Antonio. The kids ages 9-13 loved it as much as we did. So creative! Can't reccomend enough!!

This was the most fun I've had taking pictures in a long time. I have never been to a "selfie museum" so i didn't know what to expect. I looked online at the tips to a good visit and while i didn't bring a change of clothes, i did bring my tripod. They had plenty of ring lights so it wasn't necessary to bring my own. However running around and posing, along with the heat that lights create, made it get hot quick. Take some tissues or face powder because you'll get sweaty. The backgrounds and rooms were awesome. Me and my friends had an amazing time. An hour doesn't seem like very long but it was more than enough time to hit all the rooms and take hundreds of pictures. Go with a friend to ensure you get great shots. I also took a camera remote to make sure i got great pictures of us together.

The park was as beautiful and relaxing as I remember it. They do such a wonderful job maintaining it for everyone to enjoy. I love to come and look at the plants as I relax from a hectic day.

Absolutely breathtaking views of the city skyline from this park. A serene oasis amidst the urban hustle, perfect for a peaceful stroll or enjoying a picnic with loved ones. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a refreshing escape from the city bustle.

Texas Selfie Museum welcomed us back for a second visit after a quick visit hosted by Yelp. On our second visit, we got the royal treatment! It was a slow evening, and so an employee named Alex accompanied us through the entire museum, and played the part of photographer. He sure knew what he was doing! He knew how to play with camera settings and angles to best complement each background, and sometimes suggest poses to try. In a whirlwind hour, we ended up with over 200 photos. I'll be sorting, editing, and sharing them as I get the chance.
Although I was initially hesitant about the vanity of visiting a selfie museum, once I experienced it, I found it really was an opportunity to get creative, goof around, and capture some memories in the making!

So beautiful and fun. I’m not even a “selfie” person, but this place was just too cool to pass up! So many options for sooo many photos. And the price was well worth the experience and all the cool photos! If I go back to San Antonio anytime soon, I’ll definitely be going back! The attendant was very nice and even offered to take photos for us. They provide everything you need for awesome photos minus the camera. It was clean and really nice. 12/10!

This park is like a rose in a concrete jungle! absolutely heavenly and beautiful. I was lucky enough to speak with staff members and it is amazing what with this park and Ruby City does for this area just down the street from the Riverwalk

Lots and lots of wild life! Fish, happy biters! And even found some old medicine bottles in the creek bed, great hike on a nice clean un intrusive bike trail, also emergency call units and phone chargers along routs. All in all made for a very nice outing

awesome gated park that houses a small studio gallery/exhibit during business hours! also lots of neat installation art pieces built into the ground or the stone benches. gotta come check everything out!

Great park for a family time. Very quiet, relax, clean and beautiful place. On a few steps has the San Antonio River. You can enjoy the beautiful view or just take a walk by the river. Can bring your dog and celebrate SMALL b-days (10 people or less due to COVID-19 ).

Excellent park with walkways going into down town or out past 410. This goes trail goes for miles along the river walk river with a variety of changing scenery. A beautiful place for a stroll with family or pets and many tables for a picnic/barbecue. There are red birds, torture and ducks that fly around you or swim on by. There a also plenty of plaques with historical information regarding San Antonio, missions , rivers, Aqua reserves and crops grown previously.

The park is conveniently located near 35 South (Alamo street exit) and across from Ruby City on Camp Street ( It is considered part of Ruby City).
Fortuitously, I happened to visit in the last hour of the day (the park closed at 1800) -- there was not another soul nearby (so I thought).
Shade and places to sit are readily available allowing respite from the harsh Texas sun should one desire to contemplate life, the universe and everything.
A note: While taking pictures with my phone I was approached by a member of staff who told me pictures with the phone are ok, but a pictures with a "real" camera are prohibited without advance permission.
All in all, Chris Park is a beautiful patch of green situated in the the concrete canyons of San Antonio!

Small park with nice landscaping, benches, very whimsical and very peaceful with a modern art gallery in the back of the park. Open for evening art events occasionally.
