This is my favorite vegan food in all of TX! I can't describe it any other ways other than delicate, balanced, nourishing, and flavorful. Everything is good and makes my body and mind feel happy after eating it. Also the nuns who run the food truck are so kind and even remembered me after I hadn't been in a few years today!
🙏food made with kindness always tastes incredible🙏It is with huge excitement for you, reader, and gratitude, to the nuns and volunteers who work this truck, that I recommend to you Austin's best Vietnamese veg option! If you ever say "vegan food is too expensive", you're not looking in the right spot! Bodhi is affordable, and considerably generous with its portion sizing. So much so that you'll maybe find yourself with a new standard for yourself in how you eat.

My personal favourite is the Pineapple Curry Rice, and any of the Banh Mí!
The food was excellent! The taste of the pho and vegetables with tofu are as authentic as it gets! Even the quality of the rice served is good. Totally enjoyed my dinner tonight~
We went to this place because it was slightly late (after 845pm) and there were very few restaurants still open for dinner. The reviews were decent so we decided to go. I got the pho tai (which is suppose to be rare beef that is cooked in the broth, but there was no rare beef at all so I suspect it was old meat). There was not a lot of meat or noodles in the large pho that I got. The soup was ok but did not have a lot of flavour. The wonton soup was better but the wontons we're definitely not authentic wontons. They just had very little meat in it without any vegetables. I would not recommend this place.
This place brings happiness and love to my stomach. The food is great and the nuns are nice and very hardworking. They give great quality good and the food is super affordable. Me and my girlfriend can eat here for $20 and get super full. It is great to be part of Buddha’s yard!
Arriving late from Dallas, we opted for a quick lunch at this establishment. However, the menu proved to be extensive, offering choices from Vietnamese, Chinese, and Thai cuisines. Despite being labeled as a typical Vietnamese restaurant, the focus seemed to be on a broader range of Asian cuisines. While the fried pork spring rolls were enjoyable, the use of a soup plate for serving seemed unorthodox and raised hygiene concerns, as depicted in picture 4. Despite this, the taste was commendable, although the portion size of 6 rolls felt excessive; reducing it to 4 might be more appropriate. The seafood pho stood out as a definite highlight and a dish I would revisit this Vietnamese eatery for. The hot soup base of the pho was exceptionally flavorful, almost tempting me to finish the entire bowl. The ambiance was simple, although I found the floor to be overly slippery, warranting caution for future visitors.
One of my favorites in Austin. Quoted wait times can seem long but they always get you in fast. The servers are always so nice and food is fresh. Portions are large - easily shared.
Step into a world of tantalizing flavors and aromatic spices at this hidden gem of an Asian food restaurant. From the moment you walk through the doors, you are greeted with a warm and inviting ambiance that sets the stage for a culinary journey like no other.
The menu at this 888 Pan Asian eatery is a delightful fusion of traditional recipes and modern twists, offering a wide variety of dishes to satisfy every palate. From savory stir-fries to fragrant curries, each dish is expertly crafted to showcase the vibrant flavors of Asian cuisine. One standout dish that stole the show is the Pineapple Fried Rice and the orange chicken. The perfectly crispy battered chicken is coated in a tangy and sweet orange glaze that is both indulgent and addictive. Each bite is a symphony of textures and flavors that will leave you craving more. Another must-try is their General Tso's, a work of art that tantalizes both the eyes and the taste buds. The service is impeccable, with attentive staff who are knowledgeable and fast. Whether you're a novice to Asian cuisine or a seasoned foodie, the staff is dedicated to ensuring that your meal is nothing short of extraordinary. Our food was out in less than 10 minutes, and the portions are ridiculous generous for a $14 dish. Whether you're craving bold flavors or seeking a comforting meal, this 888 Pan Asian food restaurant is sure to exceed your expectations and leave you planning your next visit before you've even finished your meal.
Nuns in a food truck parked behind an insurance shop sling vegan plates TNTC. These sisters are single-handedly keeping Austin weird. Eat here now before they decide it’s better to pray for the world than cook for it.
This place is fiiiiire.

The menu is big, but there it’s all awesomeness.

Personal favorites are the yellow curry and the grilled squid.

The pho and spring rolls are a must on your to do list.
just good quality and a good experience from star to finish. the restaurant isn’t crazy fancy but it’s clean and the staff are friendly and attentive. our food came out fast and was fresh and hot. we enjoyed everything, the pho was flavorful and huge, the fried rice had great flavor and was cooked perfectly.
Delicious and plenty of vegan options in a Vietnamese style. Located in the back of the buildings, it was being run by the looks of two people. Food was delicious and the wait wasn't long. Would come again!

This is potentially my favorite restaurant in Austin. I’ve visited multiple times and have never been disappointed by the food. Always delicious. There’s a bit of a wait on occasion, and they don’t take reservations, so plan accordingly. The service could be better at times (specific individuals). Other than that. it’s always a good experience overall.
We liked it a lot! Had an expert in Viet food with us and they enjoyed it too. The Mango drink was one of the best we've ever had. I had the pad thai and it was delicious - great balance of spice, savory, and perfectly cooked seitan pieces for protein. Good amount of food and lots of menu choices.

Definitely look for signs for the food truck upon arrival. The food truck is tucked behind a psychic, and we had to search around. Limited seating outside; it takes a little bit for the Buddhist nuns to make the food but well worth the wait. Definitely try it out!
Great vegetarian food. I highly recommend trying this place if you like vegetarian food once in a while.

We tried the tofu orange chicken equivalent, stir fried glass noodle, and sesame ball dessert (it’s fried with mung bean filling). Both dishes were really nice and light and felt really healthy. The dessert? 10/10 her personal favorite.

The nuns and volunteers are easy to talk to and accommodating.

The food and service definitely reminded me of my Buddhist temple that I used to go to.

Good vegan place for a quick bite. Stopped by on our way to San Antonio, looking up in Google. Liked the Vegan options, the food is very tasty and not bland, the spicyness is not too 🔥 with a touch of sweetness to it.

The bubble tea is about OK, felt like made from bubble tea powder from the store.

Otherwise, we loved the food, Austin warm afternoon, sitting under a tree shade having the lunch.
