I got the Mexican chopped cheese 2 days in a row and it was absolutely fantastic. They put chorizo, chipotle mayo, jalapeños and peppers along with the regular ingredients of a chopped cheese and the addition of Doritos, it just worked so well as a sandwich. 10/10
It’s a deli that makes great packed sandwiches and always has tasty ripe mangos.

I recently had the misfortune of visiting what is undoubtedly the worst convenience store on the planet. From the moment I walked in, I was overwhelmed by a nauseating stench that can only be described as a mixture of stale cigarettes, rotting food, and unwashed bodies. The floor was sticky with some unknown substance, and the shelves looked like they hadn't been restocked or cleaned in years.
The selection of products was abysmal. Most of the items were expired, with many packages visibly damaged or tampered with. The refrigeration units were either not working or filled with moldy products. I even saw a rat scurrying along the back wall, which was the final nail in the coffin.
The staff were unbelievably rude and clearly did not want to be there. When I asked a question, I was met with a dismissive grunt and a roll of the eyes. The cashier was more interested in their phone than in providing any semblance of customer service. To top it all off, they tried to shortchange me at the register and acted like it was my fault.
Overall, this convenience store is a health hazard and an absolute disgrace. Avoid it at all costs unless you enjoy being disgusted and ripped off.
Please someone contact the department of health.

I ordered a grilled chicken salad for take out and there was hardly any chicken in there. Just filled with lettuce and bits of other veggies.

We visited the establishment 06/30 at 11:00pm, we bought a small Haagen Daz ice cream and slice of carrot cake. The total was $8.75. My husband inquired about the the price of the ice cream and was told $3.75. That would indicate that the slice of cake was $5.00. We returned the following evening 07/01 around 9:00pm. Bought a slice of cheesecake and slice of carrot cake the total was $12. We advised that the previous night the prices were $5 and new gentleman stated that was wrong and that the container price went up. He pointed out that the tarts price was displayed $4.75 but there was no displayed price for the slices of cakes. Had we not been celebrating my husband's birthday and it was out last night at Club Wyndham 45, I would have left the cakes on the counter. It's shameful that these vendors overcharge patrons at a whim.

Today I was shocked to find the dishonest scale in their shop. I bought hundreds of times, never pay attention. They are so fast, so I always pay whatever they told me.

Of the 3 bodegas I tried, it was the only one that had Guayaki mate soda. It was $5 for a small can, which is 60% more than I expected. Prices weren't labeled.

The bagel with the cream cheese seasoned is amazing! Highly recommend! And they have a friendly cat that comes to to say good morning 🐈 I will be back more times… very friendly team working here!

Gourmet Deli on Second Avenue offers a wide variety of breakfast and deli sandwiches, including bagels with cream cheese, BEC, and classic cheesesteaks. They also have natural juices and other beverages. It is a good spot for a quick and casual bite.
I don’t know why this Delis don’t change their menu prices whenever you call their price is higher than what says in the menu online, it’s says 5.25 on their menu but on the phone the lady said it’s 8.25$ like seriously. 3 dollars difference does matter to some people. Please if you change prices update with your website menu. So you don’t waste time on Customer ends.

I just heard that Mini Deli is possibly closing?!? Is this true?! This spot is such a GEM for our neighborhood, the best quality and pricing, great staff and Italian treats that are hard to find. I’ve never written a review but credit is needed and well deserved. I hope everyone can show up to support this important business and maybe someone can help them continue on.

Just called the owner to complain about the lady (wearing the scarf) working the register, ....I was informed (by the lady in the scarf) that he will be out until the end of Ramadan. Cool. I will voice my complaint here. What is so shocking about NY Grill, is how great the food is....how clean it is...how lovely all the people are... EXCEPT for the woman working the register...the one person you are forced to interact with. I went in today for a coffee..this woman does not look at you....she does not talk to you...she puts off the vibe as if to say: "I hate my job and I hate you." When I asked for a napkin you could tell she became really annoyed...When I said thank-you....nothing. She literally does not look at you. Not only does she not have ANY customer Service skills...she has NO Human skills either. Its shocking how rude she is and the stark difference between her and the rest of the people who work there. I can only surmise she is a RELATIVE of the owner...that is the only excuse as to why she has a job there. When I got to work...I was telling someone this story...and they described this woman to a Tee. They informed me that when they walk by the NY Grill..if they see her through the window.. they don't stop in. Wow. Anyway...life is short....no need to put myself through this again...I'll find another place. What a shame...
6 $ for a tiny little ice cream is absurd!
My friends and I stopped by because this place was right outside of our Airbnb our last few days in NY. I wish we knew about it sooner, this deli is phenomenal! Compared to the price of everything in NY, very very affordable- Was able to get fresh cut fruit, a sandwich, chips, and soda for $16. Not to mention they are open 24 hours and the staff is very very friendly. We will be back!
I stayed in the Club Wyndham Midtown 45 for a few days and this Deli was on the corner next door. Fernando and Kang were there at night and were friendly, helpful and I noticed that a lot of regulars would know them and chat to them. They learned my name and so overall it was a great experience.
The buffet was ok - it’s a buffet. But it wasn’t bad value for money.
The sandwiches were much better than fast food chains for similar prices. Fernando made me a chopped cheese even though it wasn’t on the menu because it was what I wanted. And jr was good!
But it was the neighbourhood feel I enjoyed.

I Ordered A Few Times And He Kept Sending The Wrong Order Or It Was Missing Items. Finally I Ordered And Asked Him To Read It Back, He Refused. I Went To Speak To The Manager They All Said There Was No Manager. My Advice, WALK IN & ORDER FROM THE COOK!!!

We ordered two sandwiches. One was the hot grilled chicken pesto with added grilled onions. Delicious ! Second was a cold chicken salad sandwich with bacon and tomato, and we added jalapenos. Loved them both !! I'm glad we stopped here.

Add cloves in their chicken over rice when i ask without! Add automaticaly tips but the cashier is less nicer than a guy from Dunkin!

Guys this ain’t “2nd ave deli”! It’s got a similar name - 2nd Ave Gourmet Deli- haha but that doesn’t take away from the fact that the chopped cheese is GOLD. And I mean I know chicken tenders are just chicken tenders but the ones here tasted super. Maybe it was cos I was eating this around the corner in the cold lol. But hey. Pop in for a bite. It’s great.

Great little find on the upper east side … we had the #1 and #5! Visited at 2.45pm and was not busy. Suspect it could get busy.

… I just notice they also forgot to put the toast in my bag after they forced me to take burnt food they made a second time that I did not want. They guy that charged me was so unprofessional and rude to me like I did something wrong. I paid almost $20 for some trash breakfast. They treated me like I had no value.
I was a little disappointed at the amount of turkey meat on my sandwich. Usually deli sandwiches have lots of turkey meat; makes up most of the sandwich.. but you can see in my video that cheese, salad, and tomato make up most of my sandwich 😣. Can barely taste the turkey. And this cost over $11. Not worth it… the bread is fresh though. And was made very fast. Also note, they don’t have white American cheese, only yellow.

Bad service, they are very rude and not friendly. Also charge the most outrageous prices. Very, very, very expensive!!! Wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy. Would strongly suggest using another store.

We found this great place after a bad experience with The Comfort Dinner around the corner. The breakfast menu was great. I wish I could've tried their lunch menu. They have a great variety of bagels and bread for your sandwich. The food was pretty great for a good price too.

This deli had high ratings. Worst reuben sandwich I ever had. Barely any sauercraut. Phillie cheesesteak was just as bad. People were nice. Any Chain store sandwich much better. I must have ordered wrong. Super disappointed. Was expecting so much more from an NYC deli.

A good deli and news paper magazine stand. This store is busy and they serve fast. Some fresh food 🥝 served, some food they prepare in front of the customers. Location of s important, very hard to find roadside parking 🅿️, but there are some public transportation available. Bowery Subway station minute away.
The tacos actually tasted good, if it wasn’t because their poor way to pack the food. I even ate my food at the place, so it wasn’t like it got mixed taking it home. I ordered two different kind of tacos, one beef and one shrimp. When I opened the box again ‘at the place’, they were mixed with each other. It’s not a cheap place so they should handle your food more carefully. Pork and seafood doesn’t taste well mixed together.

Very convenient place for good in Midtown East. They have fresh deli meats, fresh hot foods, fresh fruit, tons of grocery items, toiletries, snacks, drinks, refrigerated goods and much more! The store is very very clean and the staff is very nice as well! Great place for tourists to get their necessary snacks, foods, and travel necessities.

They don't actually deserve this one star. These are very racist people. The woman (Asian) has an issue giving my husband and I back our money in our hands when she gets the money from those very hands. This has happened on several occasions so we started to take notice. Maybe that's just some thing she does right?! Wrong, other customers that come in gets their money directly into their hands and she's a lot nicer to them (white) than with us (black). Almost trying to rush us away. Should have rushed us away before we enter the store so we can keep our money. Needless to say we just stopped going there.
The employees were super nice. I happen d upon this place looking for food at 11 pm on a Friday after a concert. I got the eggplant Parm sandwich and onion rings. The sandwich was flavorful and delicious and the onion rings were nice and crispy and quite a large portion. I was super satisfied with my food. I also grabbed some chips and a butterfly flower lemonade. The drink was different but tasty and I enjoyed the chips.
We were very fortunate to discover the Mini Deli on Second Avenue on the upper east side. They have a fantastic sandwich selection and while the lines are ( sometimes) long, it’s well worth the wait! My favorite is their #2: The Primavera: Mozzarella, sun dried tomatoes roasted peppers, tomatoes and olive oil!
10/21. Gourmet 45 was a delightful surprise to find a great variety of fixing in a quaint space. They have deli, paninis and cigarettes. They had Chinese spare ribs and BB pork, that's a first in my foodies travels. They had large mushrooms, stuffed shells and large portions of flaked white fish.The sweetness of the chunked plantain served as desert. They have coffee, beer and beverages. $11.99 lb, I paid $ 25 for my lunch delight. They're open 24/7.

45 Deli is 45th street & 2nd Ave in midtown Manhattan. I always pop in for quick lunch take out, snacks or groceries before I head home after work. Sometimes i order food to be delivered to my work place. I took those on my way home from work. I love taking random shots. 😊
Great food - I came here almost daily for lunch from March 2015 to I believe February 2018. Why'd I stop? One time they accidentally put a bag of chips in my sandwich bag. I didn't notice until I got back to work and assumed they were giving me free chips. I then got a call from Le Basket saying they gave me a bag of chips and I had to bring them back.

Great spot, open 24 hours. They have a way bigger selection than your average deli, more like a mini grocery store. Perfect for your late night snacks, sweets, “oh no I need trash bags and advil at 3AM,” or a breakfast sandwich. So glad they’re in the neighborhood. Plus they do delivery!

This place was pretty awesome. I ordered 3 tacos and I'm not going to lie I was pretty disappointed in the size of the tacos when they first got arrived. I was ready to curse someone out tbh. But as soon as I bit into it and the amazing flavors exploded on my taste buds, I was in heaven. The only thing I was mad at was the fact that I didn't order more.
Had a good ham and cheese on a roll from here. It was good, well made, and fresh(er). Sounds like no big deal, but so many delis mess up a basic sandwich you can’t take a good one for granted.
Everytime I order the same food in the morning its a different price. Mean while my colleagues at work get charged a cheaper and different amount. I have stopped going and will encourage the others to do so.

The taco and quesadillas are good. But i was disappointed of the size. The price is above average. ( i know its soho NY) . The ambience is interesting. They have done well to give you the Mexican vibe.

I’ve been getting salad here for about a week. Every time I come here the chicken portion they put into the salad gets smaller and smaller. It would be a really good deal the $8.95 for a small salad with the grilled chicken and three toppings but lately I’ve been getting cheated!

I go here a lot, as it's very convenient, across the street from where I live. Prices are good, as is the selection of deli type foods. Sandwiches, salads made to order. Breakfasts, cakes, muffins, etc. The service is friendly. There's fresh produce, dairy, beverages, and some housewares are available.
It's ok, affordable food, I think the sandwiches are a little much in price but, other than that the staff are alright / genuine .
New York City is full of breads, sandwhiches, salads, tacos and tiny hotdogs for $15. It was good to finally find a place that sold good wholesome healthy protein... This place had a buffet of food, $8.99 per lb. Not exactly good value but the best food you'll find in NY city. I almost cried when I found somewhere that sold protein food. Also there was no line up for food, everywhere in NY is a line... Everything.

They adopted this new concept of having cold brew on tap instead of the standard coffee shop $4.25 cold brew. This place is doing it right. I love this concept and hope it is all over New York and Brooklyn soon. Cold brew tasted good and had enough caffeine to keep me going as tour guide this weekend.

Honestly i order from them a lot and 50% of the time they get my order wrong Im sorry but for someone to always have to pray they were listening to get his order right is ridiculous. There's always something wrong. Today is the last time im done with this place.
First thing first they only good for salads and smoothies. EVERY THING else was so freaking nasty!!!!!!!!! Never again I will order from this place!!! Like ever!!! The food looked old and taste like it's been their for months. It was just terrible. I wish I can give this store a no star.
