Food was really good and staff were friendly. Their karak and desserts were also really good.

The ONLY disappointment is that an Egyptian restaurant is still serving Coca-Cola products, with all the BDS friendly alternatives on the market.

Please guys, make the switch.

Emanuela is such a sweetheart, for a new place it has already won my heart!

The pistachio roll is super nice, and so is the spinach and cheese pie. They bake everything fresh downstairs, I recommend this place! ♥️

Ps: they have some veg options and wifi too! ☝🏼😌

Up market cafe/ grill. Staff and manager are friendly and welcoming.Vast array of freshly prepared food at reasonable price. The goats cheese focaccia tastes amazing, so does the orange sponge cake. Highly recommend this place.

We are locals and have keenly watched the opening of this restaurant.
As avid Greek holiday people, to have a place in our neighbourhood is amazing.
The food and the warm hospitality remind us of Greece.
Recommend the saganaki and the gyros.
It is a wonderful restaurant with great service and outstanding food. I ordered foul which was so tasty that I cannot describe. It came with hot and freshly made bread and was very delicious. The lamb shank was heavenly, and liver was made to perfection. The food was so delicious that I cannot forget its taste even three days after. The service was amazing, staff helped us with the menu, gave us recommendation and made us feel special all the time. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want to enjoy your time and have a fabulous meal with outstanding service.
A warm welcome on a chilly Sunday evening. A superb range of Egyptian and Mediterranean dishes, delicately and fragrantly spiced. Mohammed and his team offer a warmth of hospitality, very willing to explain details of the menu. A great deal of love has been poured into their food and service. Will certainly return!

All in all good restaurant. The food was good. I mostly like their koshari. Molokai and um Ali weren’t bad. I was really craving Arabic food and it was nice to find this place.
Love this place! So delicious - generous portions, kind staff, lovely decor. Total gem of a place. Always look forward to eating here and I have also used them for catering a dinner party - the food went down so well.
It’s a wonderful place, so cozy - atmosphere feels like on a Greek island. Food is delicious- and it’s under new management - the staff goes above and beyond! We love coming here with kids! Best new addition to Battersea!
Great food with large portions, really cosy and refreshing interior too. The owners were super friendly and lovely to talk to! Definitely recommend! Thank you so much for a lovely experience!
We came here for dinner as a group of 6 people of us Asians who weren’t very familiar with Middle Eastern cuisine so we had asked our waiter (didn’t manage to catch his name) for suggestions & he was very helpful in doing so! He provided us options for starters and mains and they were all delicious. Everything was tasty and extremely flavourful, full of spices and very filling! We tried the stuffed mixed vegetables as well which was definitely an interesting dish. Will be back again if we’re ever in the area again!

This has become my regular spot!
The food is fantastic. They’re consistently always good!
The service is great.
Not sure if it’s a family run business but it gives off a beautiful family vibe.
The place is very clean.

I’ve been eating here regularly for lunch for 3 months. I’ve never had a problem with the food, never had a problem with staff, never had an upset stomach etc.

I highly recommend you come here and try their food. It hits the spot every time!

An amazing Lebanese restaurant in the center of London! They have a large variety of cold dishes, all served with pita and very tasteful hot dishes as well. It’s perfect to share and the staff was very friendly and helpful, and their suggestions were amazingly tasteful! 200% would recommend this to anyone

Lovely pub that had been let to get very tired looking but the new owners has given it a makeover and now it's a good family friendly pub with very reasonably priced drinks and the pizzas might be the best pub pizzas I've ever had. 100% will be making this a regular stop

Decent food, the staff very friendly but with a reson...at the end I paid for a salad and 6 small pieces of chicken 40£??? I feel that they've taken advantage that we were tourists. Definitely, I will not return there.
We were looking for a nice Libanese restaurant in this neighbourhood after visiting Winter wonderland and stumbled upon this one. We had a lovely experience here. Very kind waiters, very nice food. Thanks very much and we will come back next time we visit London.
Excellent!! We did the Xmas one. The food was great & plenty of it. All staff were v friendly & the room was lovely.

I usually take takeout from here. Is always delicious. Moist meats (haha...), yummy salads and the choice of dishes is good. It isn't cheap, around 15-20 pounds for the best mains, but not expensive either. The portions are huge! Lamb chops with 2 mezzes is 20 pounds, and enough food for 2 people of not too hungry! So over all great value.

My pictures show lamb chops with 2 mezzes, and the lamb shawarma. Highly recommend both.

I recently dined at a Lebanese restaurant in East Central London, and the experience was exceptional. The warm ambiance, coupled with the aromatic flavors of traditional Lebanese cuisine, created a delightful dining atmosphere. The mezze platter showcased a variety of authentic dishes, each bursting with distinct flavors. The attentive staff added to the overall positive impression, making it a memorable dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant for those seeking a taste of Lebanon in the heart of London.

Cutty Sark's Pub in Thameamead is a hidden gem. Their pizza and meals are superb, bursting with delicious flavours. The customer service is truly outstanding, with friendly and attentive staff. Under new management, the place has transformed, providing excellent service and creating a warm and inviting atmosphere—a must-visit for a memorable dining experience.
Recommendation:
Try out their beef and chicken burger, and it’s the best. I can’t help but add this to my review. It was freshly made and delicious. I’m short of words. I was wowed.
Don't go to the branded coffee across the road! I'm serious, this coffee is far far better, they have a wondrous selection of food, breakfast was yummy, I had the vegan, which was cooked to perfection, their bread is fresh and cooked on site, it all tasted yummy and I wish I found it earlier as all the food on display looks amazing.

the food reminds me of the food that you eat at home in egypt. really good and authentic, not at all like some of the other arab restaurants there are here. prices are good especially for the area. decor and atmosphere is nice and the service is friendly :) ما شاء الله
Ridiculous, I wasn’t expecting too much but at least I was waiting for a proper tea. The first tea they served was extremely weak like one tea spoon in a huge pot that we couldn’t finish. We asked for another one, they offered assam which was the same tea we had first. When the second pot came it was too strong like 5 table spoon in the same pot so we couldn’t finish that either. The front staff was friendly when we explained the problem, but wasn’t enough. They poured some hot water on top of strong tea but 1,5 hours left until we had a proper Goldilocks tea so we had our afternoon tea without tea. Scones were nice other than that nothing was special, honestly food, specially the sweet part was bad. Even the jams weren’t homemade. We enjoyed the champagne. Hardly hear the piano because during our tea time she gave 3 times break and there was no one to cover her which caused a silence in the room. Luckily I had a gift voucher and I just had to pay for my son’s tea which he didn’t like none of the sweets because they were all sticky and jelly. But he was happy when he got the teddy the nice receptionist lady gave him. It was my the first and the last afternoon tea experience. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone but the place was almost full packed. Maybe it is me who is picky and fussy.

A fairly large cafe with a counter and ample seating. This place should always have a table unless it is very busy.
The counter has a large choice of fillings for ciabatta or baked potato
Many of these are on the menu but they also have specials such as the beef and Brie I chose.
Also they have a hot food section which has a choice of chicken, beef and two pasta bakes.
They obviously take pride in selecting the best ingredients
I only had 3 days in London and honestly, this was by far the best experience throughout my trip. From the moment we entered, we felt like royalty. We had booked a reservation, but it was a bit empty when we had went.

Our waiter was a female and she was just amazing. She made sure to present and explain to us all the desserts and sandwiches that were given to us.

I loved the fact that we can ask for more sandwiches when we finish the ones that we liked. She also let us know if we didn’t like the tea that we chose, that we can change it. Which was amazing. She also made sure that our tea was completely warm throughout the whole time.

However, when she left and the different waiters came, that’s when we felt like it was extremely hard to get a waiter to assist us with anything. We kept asking for the bill multiple times, and they would forget about it. Our tea also became super cold so we decided to leave.

Nonetheless, we did enjoy our time here and would come again.

Extremely good food for an extremely good price , their tea was one of the Best I ever had , also the breakfast they serve is damn delicious.
I've been coming here since my late teenage years, and I've seen it change a lot over this time.

I highly recommend it as a place to go with family and friends. The atmosphere is warm and friendly with good service and the food is good too.
Not to mention the outside space that overlooks The River Thames. It can be a romantic location in the winter months, especially as the evenings become dark and the lights at night twinkle and dance with the dark Thames waters...❤️🥰

This historic pub is such an important part of local and national history that it's important we keep it alive. I've often wondered if walls could talk what they would say...lol...

Have a wonderful time 😊

The food here is decent. It was quite pricey though with a high service fee that you need to be wary of before visiting. While our appetizers - Moutabal and Soujok - arrived promptly, our wait for the Shish Taouk meal was quite long - almost a 40-50 minute wait, which hampered the experience a bit. Appetizers were great, and the shish taouk was nice but not amazing. Ambience was also cosy.

Honestly, the only good food I’ve had in London. I came here my first time to London and had to make a trip back.

There is limited seating inside so make sure to make reservations ahead of time.

I got the full meat platter with chip and also the cheese empanada. Everything is SO well cooked and seasoned. I am so happy to finally have decent food that isn’t salty or dry.

Will definitely be back each time I visit London!!!
The best service from Pratigya and her manager, there were times I was waiting for tea and replenishment for quite a while but other than that, the service was spot on. Unfortunately the food let them down, the sandwich fillings were nice but the bread were quite dry. The chocolate cake was very dense which I liked, the Victoria sponge was quite sweet which I didn't like, but that's personal preference. The pastries were overall not bad, the scones were good, the jam was way too sweet and strong taste so I believe they aren't homemade. They were very generous for the sandwiches and pastries replenishment which I really liked. If the food quality gets better I will definitely be back. My waitress even asked her manager to get a box of Masala tea for me to take home, she couldn't have done more! The ambience was also very nice!

Lovely local spot in the financial district that I popped into while on mini holiday in London. The coffee pour over was amazing and well worth the wait. Smooth and lovely. The Turkish eggs with halloumi was outstanding. The flavors mixed so well. It was very satisfying and a far cry from the traditional breakfast I was thinking to order. The waiter recommended this flavor explosion and he was spot on. I took a picture for all you folks but couldn’t help digging in right away.

Authentic lebanese cuisine - and by far the best in London.

For raw meat tartar/ Kebbe Nayyé lovers, Ishbilia’s take on the dish is even better than the ones all over Lebanon.

Excellent service by Mohamad.
We reserved the date a few days before which was an easy online reservation system and reconfirmed the day of at their request. Arrived a few minutes before our reservation for 3 persons and had to wait a bit for our table to be ready at 4 pm. At first, service was spot on and attentive, then quickly felt abrupt as the servers changed mid-stream in the process. The menu was explained well, but honestly we had no idea who our main server was. We were offered champagne or non-champagne option. We chose champagne option and we weren't offered any option on champagne, despite what appeared to be a few different choices. They poured the most expensive, which was fine and what we would have chosen anyway but it would have been nice to know and server should have offered and explained all the options ("regular" or "reserve"....felt a bit taken advantage of and unsuspecting customers may not be aware). The woman taking the tea and jam order was very matter of fact and for a few seconds, it felt like giving an order at Denny's in the USA, with menus being snatched up as the orders were taken. The food was abundant(amuse bouche of pear granita, canapes, then three tiered trays of sandwiches, scones and desserts), and the three of us could not finish it all, so it was packaged up (scones, some of the dessert cakes and a few finger sandwiches) after 2 hours of nibbling and enjoying the delicious teas (Earl Gray, House Blend and Chai). We spent 2 hours taking it all in. Overall, a lovely experience in a dining area filled with all kinds of customers. Not stuffy, but elegant. With all the attentive staff (there must have been about 5 different people tending to us at different times), it felt slightly frenetic and it would have been nice if the servers introduced themselves by name. I would absolutely return and plan to in November when back in London again to visit our daughter who is living here for a year.
Afternoon tea here was a very special occasion. The food was delicious, the waitress from Nepal was very attentive and provided us with an excellent service.
I also loved the pianist musician playing both classical and more modern music. The fresh flower arrangement was beautiful.
All in all a wonderful evening with my family!
An exceptional Arabic restaurant .The food was really delicious and professionally prepared .Mr.Maher who helped us choose the menu for our dinner gathering was an amazing person .Throughout the dinner ,the service was great thanks to Nema and Radwan .
Our guests were thrilled and it was a night to remember .

This place was fantastic.

3 people, 3 meals, 3 rave reviews.

Great food!! Lovely staff & service.

My only minus is it’s a little on the expensive side.

I think adding 1 sausage or 2 slices of halloumi or a couple pieces of streaky bacon @ £5 a piece is bit ridiculous.

We ate outside, which was loud but perfect for us given covid cautions. Someone noted they do add 12.5% for gratuity, so be prepared. The food was well seasoned and fresh. I don't recommend the tabouleh, which was all parsley, no coucous. The black eggplant starter was really good. They gave us a piece of baklava at the end. On the expensive side but enjoyable.
Nothing short of fabulous from start to finish! The most perfect afternoon tea I've ever had! The Park room is beautifully furnished, it's a large space but feels intimate. The fresh flower arrangements were stunning an we were serenaded by a professional pianist on a grand piano.
Our waitress was so polite and helpful, she was so lovely and explained all the different foods and choices, the tea menu is 4 pages alone!
I can highly recommend the champagne afternoon tea, there's a reason this is a 5* hotel. Shame we could never afford to actually sleep there 🤣

Nice restaurant and food.
Fatima the waiter was really nice and helpful.

The lamb shawarma wrap and bread is very good.

The lemon and mint was too sugary for our liking.
The seating is really good especially if you can sit down stairs.

Food is good but wouldn’t say out of the world.
One thing we like is that it was made out of fresh ingredients esp tomatoes. No canned tomatoes were used. The dish description said minced lamb with tomato sauce etc but it was actually lamb seek. I was expecting it to be more kheema ( minced meat) kind of dish.
Service - was prompt and good. Cecilia was very cordial.
Value for money - one starter and one main dish was £30 as they charge some good 13% service tax!
No accompaniments are offered before or after.
Note sure why but stomach felt quiet heavy after the meal. We couldn’t go for another dish after that.

Looking a bit like an old school deli you see in an American TV show, this is a great place to stop and grab a quick bite, or a main meal. Loads of choices and while we only had a quick snack, you could see from others that the food looked pretty good. If I lived in Elephant and Castle I would be there everyday.

Ordered on just eat, bear in mind i do usually order from here. Firstly their food is always soaked in oil and i kid you not, their bread slices are ALWAYS burnt! I was extremely upset today because i wrote dietary requirements on the order notes which said no mushroom. Because one of the child is allergic and i was in awe when i opened the bag and i can see in the containers that there was mushroom!!! :/ couldnt even pick them out and give it because i have to be cautious. Furthermore i ordered a chicken panini. When you hear the title chicken panini, you assume its diced chicken with salad and sauce nicely assembled. I legit got a deep fried ready made chicken fillet WHICH WAS BURNT!! Inside a panini😂😂 it was as though i was biting into a brick. Nonetheless. The sausages were nice😂 so literally just had sausages for brunch which was cool 😂😂😂 (this isnt the first time i had burnt toast from them) wish i was able to post images as i took some awesome images of this restaurants food 😊

In response to the owners reply: i have happily uploaded the images on the photo section :) (this image was immediately taken and forwarded to just eat in shock)
We were gifted a voucher which we used towards my wife’s birthday. This was a delightful Afternoon Tea experience, in a fairly sophisticated and pleasant setting.

Situated inside the famous Grosvenor Hotel on Park Lane, we were greeted instantly and sat at our table. We arrived when it was fairly quiet but after an hour or so, the room began to fill very quickly. We found the seats and table fairly low and made it slightly uncomfortable for my tall legs but not worthy of complaint, as most of the tables and chairs were the same.

We were given a choice of Teas, which we went for the more exotic. The food was good and indulgent as your can imagine. Favourites include the Chicken and Prawn sandwiches. The open sandwich to start was an interesting starter. The sweets were decadent and King’s Coronation inspired. The scones were huge and far too many choices for Jams - but lovely. This was a more than decent afternoon tea experience, not the best we’ve had but definitely recommended.

Service was good and attentive at the beginning and there was a live piano player which elevated the experience.

Little greek street food restaurant near the Battersea Power Station and the Battersea Park railway station. The owner was super nice when we went to order our food to go. Had two chicken gyros to go (they include salad inside and french fries). They tasted really good, good portion as well, and ok price! They have a small table outside to sit on sunny days and also some high chairs and tables inside.

Came here on a Sunday morning having made a reservation before and was glad we did as it was full when we got there. Ordered the bubble Benedict while my friend had the smashed avocado toast with roast tomatoes and they were both great. Good portions and very tasty. We then ordered the sticky toffee pudding and warm chocolate brownie to wrap up our brunch. We stayed there for 2.5 hours and not one moment did we feel we would be kicked out soon since we were there for so long. Cappuccino was strong enough for me too without a sour aftertaste so really good experience all around!

Amazing service and the food was exemplary. It was the perfect way to host a Veganuary party - couldn't be happier with everything!

Great selection of lunches made on premises. Sandwiches ciabatta and salads. Great coffee and service. Great prices given it's in central london and its always clean.

Addition: just had another lovely lunch here at masters. Beautiful cajun chicken. Service was fast and friendly, yet again.

The only Lebanese restaurant we order from in London, whenever we need office catering! The best homemade and traditional Mezzes, sandwiches, finger food and sharing salads such as Fatush and Taboule, including a large variety of vegan options. Thank you!!
