Supreme Banh Mi: I really enjoyed the supreme banh mi! The tangy, crunchy veggies paired perfectly with the extremely flavorful BBQ pork. The meat is grilled to perfect caramelization, savory and sweet with charred ends. The bread has a crunchy outside and is easy to bite into, not overly chewy.

Egg Tart: The egg tart is really flaky with a milky center that’s great for dessert.

Taro Milk with Coconut Milk: The boba is rich with brown sugar flavor, and the taro milk is smooth, like a yogurt-like slush with a very unique texture. You can taste the earthy and nutty taro flavor.

Coffee: The coffee is full-bodied, rich, and deep.

Mango Lassi: The mango lassi is smooth with refreshing mango puree.

A very unique bubble tea store that serves more than just tea aswell. I’ve tried almost everything here and I can’t say anyone one of them is bad, all of it’s outstanding to drink either as is or with a meal.

Asked for a bagel with butter and they hardly put any butter on it. Like just a speck. I feel like I'm eating just a bagel with nothing on it. Paying for food and not getting something that is satisfactory is pretty bad. Do better

I've been to this spot many times but never got the chance to review them. They serve many types of bubble teas. They have specialty flavors that come about sometimes. I feel like their options are more geared towards tea drinkers and those who like savory teas. They don't have a lot of good sweet options or fruit milk teas. It's mainly a takeout spot and the service was okay, they don't give much flexibility in customizing drinks. I prefer more sweet and creamy bubble teas and this spot doesn't have too many options like that. This time I tried a bay ridge which is advertised as a mango lassi type drink. It was not what I was expecting and tasted more like yogurt than anything else. Mango lassi is usually creamy, sweet, and mango taste but this was very different. Maybe some people like this type of taste but it wasn't for me.

It’s unacceptable that the staff talk to you rude and in the end the sandwich is cold. 43 dollars spent I expect a warm meal at least!

I have purchased drinks with friends from the Brooklyn location. That was the reason why I decided to go to the Astoria location. I live a distance away from both, but wanted one of the drinks because I enjoyed it the first time. However, the Astoria location was disappointing. I purchased quite a few drinks and honestly, I thought that the quantity of Boba in both of my large drinks were too low for the large sizes. I couldn’t tell if there was a signature cream in one of them. I was disappointed. To me part of the fun is allowing the customer to mix their drinks, not doing it for them. My experience at the Brooklyn location was better. The drinks were delicious there. I can’t say I felt the same at the Astoria location. Definitely way too much ice in the drinks. I’m willing to give them a chance again and revised my review but it needs to be better.
Super cool stall, buns are tasty, a little bit more duck would have been even tastier but still, for $2.25 it’s great! Recommend going here for one stop on a food crawl or just a lunch on the go.
Super fast service , kind of rude but who cares it’s a stall!

Terminal 7 at JFK doesn’t offer a huge amount in terms of food, all I’d say is don’t get tempted to the Charcuterie Board at Le Grand Comptoir…it’s amazingly disappointing and almost inedible.

I received two hand rolled marble-sized balls of blue cheese, two slices of dry and stale orange cheese, two 1cm x 2cm slices of stale brie and three 2cm x 3cm of sourdough bread that were so thin it was painful to look at them…add the two slices of prosciutto and a couple of small discs that were probably once salami until someone left them out on the worktop so they resembled a mummification process and your $21 charcuterie board is complete, all served on wooden board not much larger than a table tennis bat.

Now I understand that it’s a captive market in an airport terminal but even the server looked embarrass as I asked him if this was the sampler menu and the full charcuterie board would be served after!

Safe to say that I didn’t spend any more money in Le Grand Comptoir and went elsewhere in the terminal, being ripped off isn’t something I enjoy and this was akin to a culinary mugging.

In summary, save your money and eat elsewhere.

best bubble tea/milk tea in NYC period. I'm addicted to the lavender milk tea. I love that they use real teas and fruits instead of powder mixes. The only qualm I have is that the sizes are ridiculously small.

The guy behind to counter was pleasant. I didn't have to repeat what order but he did double check with me. I wish he wasn't the only person working there. He was cleaning and helping people. The sign that you guys don't take EBT cards was funny.
Have had a very authentic Shanghainese dinner here. Their soup dumplings are flavorful and delicious. Highlh recommended.
BEWARE this is place is an actual SCAM. They force you to order via an online qr. I ordered a chicken sandwich which normally comes with chips but when the order came, it came with a salad which was an additional upgrade. I had not clicked on the upgrade and they said that that’s how all online orders come through and that I had already been charged and there was nothing they could do about it. Not only did I not want a salad, I had to pay for it and they didn’t care. Also the food was bad.

Great food, great portions. It's hard to eat elsewhere because the food is creative and very good tasting. Nice staff too.
I went there to get some Bagels to bring with me home to Sweden for my kids to try authentic ones.
The Bagles managed the trip in my suitcase fine and was still delicious when we had them the day after.
There were still a good selection of different ones even though we bought them in the afternoon.
Also, thank you for the help with extra bags keeping them fresh during the travel.
One of the most authentic places in Flushing for peking duck. Super delicious food and taste. The prices are decent and if you are in a rush this is the best place for a quick bite.

Came here at 830 for a sandwich sat down and at 8:40 the young man behind the counter yells at me and says we are closing. I replied: you want me to walk with my bread in my hand? According to the time listed, they close at 9pm. Please update your hours or coach your employees accordingly to not kick our customer before closing hours

Tea and milk is the absolute BEST. Their bubble teas are made with real ingredients instead of fake syrups like so many other bubble tea stores. Everything I've ever had from there is delicious, the staff is always kind and friendly, and they come out with seasonal items as well which are always equally as delicious. Strawberry cheesecake? yum! Pumpkin Spice tea latte? yum! Cocoa oolong? yum! Strawberry matcha?! YUM! Do yourself a favor and just try it. You won't regret it

Editing to say: If you're concerned your drink will be too sweet ask for less sugar! I always get 25%!

We had a quick late dinner - arriving at 8p ( they close at 9p). The salads are pretty good here - nice portions, fresh ingredients...cobb salad and side of dolmas- very good! The burger was just as ordered - perfectly crisp bacon....the onion rings were so crunchy and delicious! The coffee was nice and strong too! I love a good diner and have to add this one to my go to list.

Awesome location, restaurant, and food
The restaurant is always clean, maintained
The employees take their time while they let the customers take theirs, they listen to the orders carefully and give their customers their desire. I had their food and it was so good, even fresh too! I was so amazed! I shall be back soon.

I ordered a steak med well. I got well done, I was disappointed. My date had the salmon. I wanted to send steak back but not to have to wait for the right steak we swapped meals.
Quite frankly the worst service I’ve ever received. After 10 minutes of sitting down and not being acknowledged we gave up and tried for service stood at the bar. What followed was 20 minutes of watching the lone bartender wonder round the bar at what can only be described as a snails pace. In this time I watched him make a mere 6 drinks, 5 of which were a simple glass of wine - remarkable. We even employed a tag team approach and split off to separate sides of the bar to attempt to double our chances of a pint. After receiving service that consisted of a general glance in our direction, we gave up and got a pint at the next bar.

Not a bad stop. Ordered one day to give it a try, the Tempura Shrimp Banh Mi Bubble Tea Combo, came back the next day to order 2 more plus the Chicken & Pork Banh Mi Combo. The drinks were also not too sweet, just the way we like it. I did come back to try their Mango Coconut rabbit but unfortunately, this dessert was kind of overpriced. I'll definitely be back for sandwiches, though.

They did not have much in baked goods. However the korean style toasts are worth a try.
Fast, inexpensive, and delicious. I only tried the duck buns, and it’s great as a mid-day snack. The duck-to-bun ratio is a little low, but the freshness, ease of ordering, and price make this place a great place to visit.

got a Rainbow bagel with Blueberry cream cheese. the colorful firm plain bagel with nice chewy interior (they sold out of blueberry bagels). the bagel was generously smothered in rich blueberry cream cheese which tasted like a blueberry cheesecake. a very desert-y combo for fans of a sweet option. the service was quick. the shop has a some seating at the windows and right outside the entrance.

Ordered a bac/egg/cheese, bagel w/ strawberry creamcheese, and a pastrami/egg/cheese. Got the bacon egg and cheese and a pastrami egg and cheese w/ strawberry creamcheese on it.

Mistakes happen but damn. Look at that thing 💀 who tf ordering that?

Good bagels & fast service but the egg sandwiches aren't great even when made right.

Place is good for a quick coffee/bagel.

The “wings” that they handed to me were an absolute disgrace. I have never had such a sorry excuse for wings in my entire 158248 hours of being on this earth. DO NOT COME HERE.
Pecking duck sandwich is tasty, not bad for the price of $2-ish. My favorite is their perfectly seasoned, tender and crispy fried pork chop.

We ordered pecking duck sandwiches, chili wontons, sesame balls and fried porkchop.

They gave us complimentary soup on the side, soup dumplings and free desserts too. I’m so delighted to see how much freebies we got and I can’t deny that everything taste delicious. Their staffs are friendly and helpful.
I go there every morning for their oatmeal. They have 2 options, with milk and without. They have a variety of toppings available as well. Sometimes I go back for lunch to get a soup. Large soup/oatmeal are about $4.90 each.

Overpriced, even for an airport. Food is grim - photo shows the Truffle Crisps - basically a handful of crisps on a plate covered in (hopefully it is) parmesan cheese scrapings with an invisible drop of Truffle oil. Service beyond slow and forgetful.
Food and drink options in T7 are really limited and this is the worst one of the bunch.

Avoid!
Great friendly service
fast and delicious
We’ve ordered from here a few times for the love of God. I don’t know why the Italian omelette have salami this past time. When I ordered the food took over an hour to come, and they did not do the order correctly they gave me the Italian omelette with salami, and not sausage like I asked for.
The guy was really nice about it and I felt bad but the food definitely should not have taken over an hour to come to my house.

Where to begin? If I was literally starving to death, I am pretty sure I'd skip "Le Grand Comptoir". The food is beyond bad. The "service" almost non existent. Walk on. Bring your own sandwiches. Even week old ones would be better than this......
This place is the very rare trifecta of cheap, good, and fast.
The food was great and came out very quickly. Service was also amazingly quick for both bringing out dishes as well as the cheque. You can get a varied serving for two for $25.

the toast has to much salt or whatever they sprinkled the sandwich with.

the surroundings i didn't notice we was out pretty quick.

service was not , not... the old man put too much of the salty tangy stuff.

i would put a zero on the food.

>>>Update: 2nd tasting French toast end of fall'23

Got food poisoning. Bread was good. Crispy chicken seemed undercooked (hence the runs). Ratios of fillings was off - way too much of the carrots so I had to pick out half of it. And the carrots are sweet, not pickled. And no cilantro. Weird.
I don’t drink alcohol. This guy told me I had to order alcohol or leave. I asked for a club soda and he said I had to sit somewhere else. Alcohol or nothing.

This is sad and disgusting how you can employ such an animal to talk to people like this. Your organization is gross, racist and absolutely hateful with how your staff of creatures can talk down to someone.

I pray you go out of business running things the way you do. No chance in hell you deserve an airline contract.

I’ll be in touch with their department in regards to your treatment to people. You should really be embarrassed.

Found a hair in the lettuce. Not in my sandwich but I’m the actual lettuce container that everyone gets there lettuce from.I told the the guy that was making our sandwiches. He proceeds to take out the strand on long hair and tells the manager lady I got it out and then proceeds to put the container back to be used again. I told him it has to be discarded the manager woman saw and heard this and told him the same thing. I knew it was her hair she was the only
employee with long hair it wasn’t tied up she didn’t have on a hair net. I brought this to her attention and she was upset. She also proceeded to make other sandwiches and never put on a hair net. Gross!!!!!
I eat a subways often it the best option out for me since I’m a pescatarian vegan.
But won’t be back to this place unless I see hair nets!!! Great location and updated store. The guy that helped me was great! He did his job well, not his fault he was going to put the tray back after plucking out the hair, that falls on management poor employee training.

Great food, great atmosphere and great service. Thank you...
We came to NYC for the 4th of July. The place was the closest and most convenient to where we parked and Thank goodness, it was delicious! My ultimate's lox bagel was brimming with smoked salmon and as you can see in the picture, that one bagel sandwich lasted me most of the day. The prices are the best in the city, although it's technically not in the city. We were in Long Island City which is just a quick train ride into Manhattan. Hope everybody had great 4th of July, I know we did!

Found this after a friend of mine told me. I got the pork chop banh mi and grilled chicken banh mi, the grilled chicken was my favorite. They got the meat and then the pickled veggies that goes w the crispy yet soft bread. (Although it’s like not actUaly authentic authentic Vietnamese banh mi) It is fulfilling u can even actually share it w one another person or by yourself if you’re really hungry. When u get there there’s this Deli spot near there(that’s not the one, I got confused on maps, it’s the one that says cake stuff etc) They also apparently do cake decoration services and they also got baked goods and slices of cakes that are very cute for a friend, for picnics etc. they got great seating outside, when I was there there were these red bugs crawling around near the doors so maybe sit outside) so cute def stopping by for more. Absolutely check it out for a quick bite.

The food was great!, I usually come to checkers very often because I really enjoy their fries. But it's sad to say that the stuff at this location can be very disrespectful and I am saying this after having a negative experience with them a few times in the past two weeks. They are rude to the customer, then goes in the back speaks in their language and sends another person out to speak to the customer and is rude. That needs to stop, it's unacceptable. A customer is bringing business for the organization and needs to be respected. Due to the poor quality behavior I do not even wish to return to this location. Worst quality behavior of staff members I have seen from the many checkers outlets I have been to.

I went there few minutes ago. I believe the employee was Hispanic and he was on the phone. When I walked in, he told me they ran out of bread. Then I went out and walked back in when I saw him preparing sandwich for other people. So I asked to get a 6 inch tuna sandwich. He started to make my sandwich the way he wanted to. For example, I asked for cheddar cheese he put pepperjack without asking me. Made me wait 30mins. The drink fountain was also not working. And they don’t have all the toppings. Very bad experience. What a waste of time and energy.

I had to come to eat my lunch before my long flight.
Not so many restaurants options in JFK Terminal 7, so it is OK if you need to.
The items in the menu are not fairly priced.
The staff friendly and helpful.
I had cranberry spinach salad which was fresh and nice.
And had chicken sandwich which wasn’t as freshly cooked , it’s probably reheated.
In addition to that I had Mocktail which was OK.
The seating and tables are clean but not comfortable to sit for a long period waiting for your flight. However the windows looks at the runway which is nice.

The man behind the counter was very rude and would not honor the coupon I had given him when I ordered my sandwich. Stated that that shop did not participate , even when there was a sign stating they did. He got very nasty and ran a put the sign in the back of the shop. A woman was also there and she had a coupon as well. When he refused to help us. She then recorded the sign and his attitude , he screamed ok and stol recording. Very disappointed in Subway service as I have used the coupons at other locations in Queens.
I work in the area and every morning I stop here for coffee and the occasional BEC or bagel with cream cheese and they never disappoint. The food and drinks are quick and easy to get at no expense to taste. The boss is super attentive to his customers, the lead cashier always has my order ready as soon as I come in, and the grill cook is fast, efficient, and always gets my order right. Couldn't ask for more.
These bagels are hot and crispy. They're not Mammoth size which I appreciate. The portions are large. In terms of the cream cheese spreads. The staff is friendly and they move along quickly. The price is a very reasonable. Believe or not. We got a birthday cake from there. Also, their sandwiches are very well priced and large portions all around. This is a very good place to go right across from Cuny law school. I'm hoping with the new target that opened up it will get a larger fan base

Astoria Tea and Milk has the best tasting tea drinks around! From fruity blends to traditional milk teas, they have a wide range of options that are sure to satisfy any taste buds. What sets this place apart is the ability to customize almost every aspect of your drink, from the sweetness level to the type of milk or their unique add on options. Not to mention, their teas are always refreshing and have great flavor. Whether you're in the mood for a classic bubble tea or something more exotic, Astoria Tea and Milk has something for everyone. Overall, if you're looking for a place with exceptional drinks and excellent customer service, you have to give Astoria Tea and Milk a try!
The first thing I should mention is how reasonably priced everything here was! The two peking duck sandwiches we got were free since we ordered a couple other dishes, and were delicious. The chicken was decent, although I wouldn’t recommend it. Their xiaolongbao, however, were amazing!! It’s absolutely worth it to order the sampling dish of each kind of dumpling. We also tried their jellyfish and it was very well done, super refreshing. After everything, they even gave us a free dessert! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone coming by Flushing.

A medium-sized Checkers with a local ambiance. This fast food restaurant is conveniently next to the 7 train of Queensboro Plaza. Food quality is OK but the price & deals Checkers has is always a win. The service is very quick & all the employees in this location are very polite!
I have been getting breakfast from them for just under 9 years now.
Just about everyday Monday- Friday as I work in the area.

Amazing quality food, bagels and cream cheese is so fresh!!! They go above and beyond splitting the muffin in 3 slices so it’s nicely toasted and butter on evenly! Absolutely love this place!

Great location. Seemed nice & clean. The Ice machine was totally out of ice. So I waited for 5+ minutes. The employees seemed to not careless. So I stood there feeling awkward. I asked an employee if I could just trade my (already paid for) fountain drink with no ice for a small bottle of lemonade. The employee pointed out there was a difference in price, then walked away.

I tried their several toasts and they taste pretty good compare to any other stores on Notherm blvd. Please try ham egg and cheese if you like classic and simple toasts which is my favorite!!!!!:)

It’s my favorite restaurant. I often ate in here. Now most restaurants increased the prices because of the inflation but this restaurant still keeps the free soup dumplings or roasted duck. The soup dumpling’s fillings big, the skin so thin and no one broke. It’s very tasty. After your meal, they also give you their tradition dessert-sweet rice wine egg drop gruel. We ordered two dishes are all very delicious. The leftovers can be our another meal.

This place is clean. The workers are courteous. Lisa is the manager. She is a very kind lady and makes all of her sandwiches as if she were making them for her very own children. This place is the best sandwiches in Queens Bridge!

Ty so much!

Forest Hills Bagel was on the list of top 10 bagel in NYC and we were surprised we haven’t tried even we live in neighborhood.

It was crowded on a Holiday (MLK day) morning but the line moved very fast so the wait wasn’t bad. The staff wasn’t not friendly but attentive and served everything in a sense of urgency.

The food was okay but not surprisingly palatable or must to try. We had western omelette and smoked salmon with everything bagel. The portion was amazingly great with reasonable price but it’s just for quick fix and not delicate at all.

we stopped here this morning to get some breakfast subs but we experienced some truly terrible service. ads in front and in clearly saying breakfast available but when we ask for, young man said no breakfast (at 8:45). then wanted to get herbs & cheese subs but again not available. the best was the end when he said that we can't sit in as he will close the place soon... seriously??? suggest to review procedures at this branch because this is deep low location. recommending to avoid because staff could completely spoil your otherwise nice morning with his earphones in while working.

There were five people busy working inside the kitchen, but no one cared to take care of the customers in the waiting line. There wasn’t much people sitting in the restaurant. We waited for about five minutes until someone finally picked up the line. The food serving speed was good, how ever it taste just like downgraded McDonald’s with smaller portion. There are leftover food on the table but nobody cleaned it up.

Nice little neighborhood spot near Broadway LIRR. Great coffee and Korean pastries. Don't know much about Korean pastries but love the coffee and you can also pick up a ham egg and cheese on toasted bread. Staff is friendly.
