Eisler Chemist accidentally sent me a shave oil instead of the cologne I had ordered. I had purchased it has a wedding present for my fiance for our wedding and had it shipped directly to an engraver. When I received the item and realized they had sent the wrong item a promptly called them up and explained the situation. Not only did they send a new one the next day they also understood that I was having to pay to engage the item twice and kindly full refunded me calling it a wedding gift. They really went above and beyond to fix the situation. Thank you!
Metro Drugs has the BEST customer service. After my meds were delayed by fedex, the owner Joe personally called me. They had another package sent out AND are still sending the original package per my request just incase there's a delay with the next package. This has given me such peace of mind and what an amazing experience to work with a company that cares about its customers! Thank you Joe and thank you metro drugs!
The pharmacist told me outright that he will only fill the medication I need for people who are students at NYU or the New School. I’ve lived in NYC all my life and never heard of anything of the sort … this practice does not seem at all ethical, and I suspect some corruption. Wish i could give 0 stars

Vinny is an actual angel on this earth. that man is beyond supportive, kind, compassionate, intelligent, patient... there aren't enough words in the english language for me to sing his praises enough. sincerely. i even left a voicemail on the manager's messages letting her know that he is an invaluable asset. because of him, i will refer every friend to this pharmacy. undoubtedly, without question, single-handledly because of Vinny.

Got my meds delivered (NY --> MA) on the following day. Costumer service was very helpful, as I needed these meds asap. Fair prices! I'm so relieved I found this pharmacy.
This pharmacy has the worst customer service and cold people handling their customers. If you’re looking for fertility meds there are cheaper options with way better manners and customer service. I paid for overnight service for a trigger shot and it did not make it in time for my procedure. This place would not refund my purchase nor would the refund any of the shipping costs. Do your research before going to this place. I know CNY uses them but there are way better places.

Terrible. Inefficient and very rude service. The pharmacists keep changing. Simon is mocking and acts as if he might do you a favor by giving you your prescriptions. After many years I will consider another pharmacy. I am av 9/11 survivor and have many prescriptions. Dread goin g to CVS now.I asked for a regional manager,s number but was told find it on my own.

I was exploring my options for a pharmacy to start my treatment, and my experience with their representative was quite disappointing. Their demeanor was impolite and impatient, as they abruptly interrupted me. It's concerning to think about the potential stress I might encounter when needing last-minute medication with such customer service. Fortunately, I had the foresight to inquire in advance. Ultimately, I decided to opt for a different specialty pharmacy

I have a prescription for an opioid that helps with migraines. CVS wouldn't fill it. Wouldn't let me pay cash as the doctor noted on the script. It was a horrible experience as the pharmacist was arrogant, rude and just plain mean. I will NEVER step inside a CVS again.
If I could give zero stars I would. I have been disconnected by the pharmacy at least 6 times and can’t reach anyone on the phone. This is a joke of customer service.

Be aware of NO RETURN POLICY. I purchased a compression sleeve and never wore it and I was not able to return it. Even Victoria secret will let you rerun underwear, don’t understand why you can’t return a compression sleeve.
My wife and I had a positive experience with Metro Drugs. The prices they offered me matched or beat other pharmacies that I searched through, including websites that compile different pharmacies' prices, like GoodRx. I didn't always get through to a person, but when there were technical difficulties I spoke to Joe who apologized and helped me himself. It's not often you can speak directly to the owner of a business, without asking. Metro Drugs received the 4 prescriptions from my wife's doctor and processed them within a few hours. I provided payment information over the phone and they then shipped the drugs overnight to us. They arrived about 20 hours later in what appears to be good condition. The drug that was supposed to be cold was still cold, and none of the medications appeared open or damaged.

I highly recommend Caligor, which is the best pharmacy I have experienced in New York. Everyone is smart, competent, helpful and kind. The pharmacy is amazingly helpful. They will send you your medication if you happen to be traveling when a refill is due.

Have been here to fill my prescriptions a number of times and I have always had a good experience. They have a team of well experienced pharmacists that go above beyond to give their customer personalized care. They also have a selection of fine European beauty products, making it a great one stop shop.
This is a great pharmacy. Great service. The owner was helpful and kind. They also have an excellent selection of luxury European products that are hard to find elsewhere (great for gifts!). I will use this as my regular pharmacy from now on.

The pharmacists make you feel like family. I recently moved away from the neighborhood but kept Caligor as my primary pharmacy. Wouldn’t use it any other pharmacy. Genuine, kind folks that go above and beyond.

Caligor is an extraordinary medical supply store and pharmacy. Each pharmacist I have dealt with is polite, professional and will walk the extra mile to get the customer what is needed. I used to use chain store pharmacies but they have all deteriorated in quality. Caligor is the gold standard in pharmacy operations. Mitch, the pharmacist, has come to my rescue more than once and I am so very appreciative.
Attempted to put in a verbal order for a patient as my electronic medical record system was down. He asked me what the medication was for. After learning what the medications were, it was decided that he will not fill the medication. I am sorry, but you do not make the determination if the medication is necessary for the patient or not. These were generic/ non-controlled substance medication. The two individuals whom i spoke with on 2/13/2023 said it is not possible to take a verbal order and hung up. This is quite disappointing and an incredible inconvenience for the patient.
They are a great neighborhood pharmacy and sell everything from urine cups to knee.braces. Their staff will go the extra mile for you. The other day fiancee had lost his gloves and thought he could have left them there. He asked me to call and inquire. They actually looked and had another staff member look. I had called them and left a voice message inquiry. They actually called me.back to let me know. That is service in my humble opinion. Go there.and.have a look at the diverse products they sell.

So reliable, caring, and honest. You are family there. Yesterday I went in to buy a product and the fellow working there suggested a home remedy for the problem I was having, warmly steering me away from buying something that would be less effective. I left the store having spent no money but with the knowledge I needed for a cure. They are always so helpful and the products are great.
The quality of service has fallen tremendously since Walgreens took over. I think they cut back on staff, which puts extra stress on the remaining workers
While the pharmacists were nice, the service was terrible, it took them almost 12 hours to fill the prescription, and we had to keep calling them and going there to remind them all day. On top of it all, there are 5 pills out of 20 missing! So now I have to go back there again to report it.
Do not waste your time with this company. I ordered Visbiome and they sent it in a small package with a small icepack (See photo). The bottle Temp was almost 91 degrees! I emailed them about this and got a rather cocky response from Nathan which read, "The product is perfectly fine it can stay outside of the fridge up two weeks in room temperature as stated by the Manufacture website". The pure lack of knowledge from eisler chemist is a joke. The Visboime website says temperature spikes over 86 degrees degrades the bacteria. I emailed that to Nathan. He replied that he would send me a return label to return the product, and he would ship a new one to me. He never did. After a long delay I emailed NATHAN and asked where my product was. He replied he refunded me. Then I saw a refund in my email a few minutes later. You have to wonder if someone ordering that product is going to get the same damaged product that I returned. Stay away from this place. HORRIBLE customer service, lack of knowledge and clearly dishonest!
Went here to pick up a package, but needed some items so I went to the deodorant isle. An old, black bald man was stocking products, and as to not interrupt him, i pressed the customer service button for assistance. He looked and asked “was that you?” (Who pressed the button), I responded “I needed…” and before I could finish my sentence he rudely said “IM RIGHT HERE…YOU ONLY PRESS THE BUTTON IF THERES NO ONE HERE…” I responded; “sorry, I thought you were busy and didn’t want to interrupt you….I needed two items; a razor and deodorant.” He unlocked the razor area and I grabbed my item, then headed to the deodorant area. I look up and he was gone…just walked away saying something either to someone or under his breath. Please know I only come here for a convenience, not for the customer service. The young lady that helped me retrieve my package at the register was cool, but homeboy and the deodorant and razor aisle needs a chill pill, and maybe be a pay raise. That might get rid of his grumpy demeanor.
One of the worst pharmacies if not the worst, they miscounted my prescriptions on a few occasions, said that I picked them up on a day that I had not because of a “computer glitch“, Im waiting for their legal team to reach out to me.
I ordered 4 specially flavored toothpastes from the site because I'm an adult who needs a fluoride formula that does not contain any mint or menthol products in them. Neither the online descriptions or the list of ingredients had any mention of it. But when I finally got them they had been a little mangled in the mail and out in the hot sun. When I tore open the envelope I was overwhelmed by a strong mint smell. To get a refund I had to make a claim with my bank. Eisler customer service was very rude and dismissive.
I buy all of my Chinese soup ingredients here. While Im not familiar enough to say the quality is high I can tell you that they have everything I need from lily bulbs, red beans, figs, dates to dried Chinese yam and mushrooms, and my soup tastes delicious! The old man and lady at the cashier were very friendly and helpful both times I visited.
I am very impressed with the degree of personal and caring customer service provided by Nathan. Professional, caring, and always pleasant to work with. These days, it is thrilling to encounter a business that values all aspects of a wonderful shopping experience. Thank you very much!

This pharmacy/store caught my eye as I was passing by with their display window because I noticed they featured European—mainly French, German and Swiss beauty products and toiletries.
When you go in it has a 1950’s/1960’s old school hometown pharmacy feel. I was greeted by the store clerk who was friendly and happy to answer any questions.
I also spoke with the owner/manager briefly who was quite nice.
The products are mostly imported and they feature products that would ordinarily be very hard to find in your typical pharmacy. It’s a bit on the pricier side due to the products being imported and higher-end selection.
I recommend checking them out if your looking for a nice and unique beauty or bath gift, you’re a fan of or want to try a high quality European product; or if you live nearby and prefer a hometown/more personal service style pharmacy and/or if you need a pharmacy that does in-store compounding.
I wound up choosing a high quality French perfumed powder with lovely packaging as a gift for a friend.
I’ll definitely stop in again when I’m in the area.

I ordered some cough drops that I can only find in India from them. Wow! I was very very impressed with the service, fast shipping and follow thru. They sent me messages telling me exactly when my package would arrive by USPS, telling me when it had been delivered and a follow thru asking me if I had received and to notify them if I had not. I thought Amazon had the best customer service but no...Eisler's was even better. Many thanks to you!!
It's a convenient pharmacy for the north side of Roosevelt Island. They had flu shots here in February 2020, when Duane Reade had stopped providing them in January for the 2019-2020 season.
Stopped in while visiting NYC. The staff is exceptional. Very friendly and helpful. The owner spent a long time chatting with us and gave us some great tips about the area. The store is very well stocked with everything you would expect in a real pharmacy. I found some pill containers that I have been searching for for years! Highly recommend this pharmacy!
"Security watch the floor" Order of the day if you 'look suspicious'. Worst shopping experience by far ( the morning of April 10, 2017 ) prejudiced managing staff. Chubby potbellied hispanic/middle-eastern guy followed me around. Not returning soon.
