Great recreational experience. Family friendly. It has almost everything family and children could hope for to enjoy. Tfl Buses just stops outside the park. The park is divided into 4 areas: an open free jym, for pets walking area, a secured park for younger and disabled children and water fountain play and cool area for kids. It is a very nice place in warm weather.
This park is amazing. The water feature is the best I've seen around London. It's spacious and has plenty of water things for kids of various sized and rhe park itself has a sandpit mama/papa and baby joint swings!
Amazing huge playground for all ages with sand pit (where you can dig for some Dino fossils) and cool climbing frames, zip line, spinning swing etc.. There's a cool water play area right next to it as well.

This year’s Chelsea in Bloom displays were not as impressive due to the road works taking place along Sloane street and hampered by the weather but still well worth a visit. I took over 100 photos.

Chelsea in Bloom 2024 runs from the 20 - 26 May 2024 from Sloane Square and along the Kings Road.

This year's theme is 'Floral Feasts' and there is a very broad interpretation of the theme.

The displays are not as cohesive as last year's Film theme but more retailers have taken part this year.

The floral feasts range from the stylish and tasteful (safe) at Ralph Lauren to the Very Hungry Caterpillar which resides in Sloane Sq facing Peter Jones.

A beautiful display of flowers - a feast for the eyes is at the Blue Bird, which is almost at the World's End.
A nice park with an amazing view of Big Ben. The fountain in the garden is a nice photo spot
Love this small, but cute park in West London. It’s the perfect area for a quick stroll or break up a run from the city towards the scrubs. They are doing construction right now, but it’s still quite peaceful.
Lovely park located in a built up area. A welcomed touch of serenity in the city where you can access greenery for free. When I visited local families with there small children were enjoying the park. Some other people brought there dogs. The park has picnic benches to sit down and also a small children's activity playground with a further patch of park behind it.
I attached a video that was taken 2 years ago to commemorate the Queen's reign. Everything was so beautiful then. Generally speaking this is a nice put posh area of London. Shops are very expensive and even pubs and restaurants are pricey. If you have the money and you want to flaunt it, this is one of places to go in London. I prefer to spend my money more wisely.

this is a truly lovely square close to Sloane Square tube station, shaded by trees, with a charming fountain. A lot of shops and restaurants. During summer hosts pubs and cafe
Nice staff and good station layout
Incredible park, great for families. Super clean. Amazing free water park, small child playground, and large child/adult playground. Ninja warrior course, and many accessibility features. Lots of great green fields close by and 2 sets of bathrooms.

Brilliant place! Well kept and clean! We will definitely return! My children loved every minute of their stay!
A lovely square opposite Sloane Square tube shaded by trees. Home to a charming fountain. Surrounded by ships, cafes, and restaurants.
Sit, relax and watch the world go by.
Nice
I never knew that they had a police memorial until I walked past it.

Respect to all policemen and the work they do.
Quiet respectful memorial with a a memorial book of constables taken in the line of duty on that date, pages turned daily. Was a little shame the memorial could do with some better upkeep and felt neglected.

Named after Sir Hans Sloane, it was laid out in 1771. The Venus fountain was constructed in 1953 by sculptor Gilbert Ledward. This is a very busy square surrounded by busy traffic in one of the wealthiest parts of London.
Incredibly respectful! For everyday in the year you will find the list of police officers losing their lives in service. What a proud and respectful nation! Admiring this ability to build self onfidence through respect to everybody!

Great that the victims of the 7th July terror attack have a memorial in London but I just felt that the memorial itself was rather dull and uninspiring and could have been something more attractive.

Worrying numbers of tents with homeless men in the park and in its vicinity building which smells strongly of urine. Had a phone stolen in the area and was tracked down to Savoy Place - criminals in one of these tents! Sadly unable to recover phone. Becareful!
Lovely park with a lot of memorial statues including Robert Burns. Leashed dogs are welcome. No bicycles are allowed inside gates. There is at least one ping pong table. Can see the London Eye from a spot near the watergate.
I found this here on Google maps when looking for places to see and found this so had to come see it.
I'm guessing that the glass bit was meant to originally be a water feature but can't find anything showing it working if it is.
There is a book naming those who and how they lost their lives.
Beautiful garden in the heart of London with lots of benches but not much grass.. seems like a nice spot for spies to meet😁

Located in the south east corner of Hyde Park, the memorial is just north of Achilles to the east of Lovers Walk. The memorial comprises 52 stainless steel pillars (stelae), collectively representing each of the 52 victims, grouped together in four inter-linking clusters reflecting the four locations of the incidents. Constructed from solid-cast, long-lasting stainless steel, each stela measures 3.5 metres high and is unique, with individual characteristic finishes brought about by the casting process.

Visitors can walk around and through the memorial, reading inscriptions marking the date, time and locations of the bombings placed on each of the stelae as they pass. A stainless steel plaque listing the names of the victims is sited on a grass bank at the far eastern end of the memorial.

🍺🍸This square is amazing. It is located in the middle of shops and restaurants. Specially in summer, you could enjoy a beer or a glass of wine in the middle of the square. It is lovely how this has been set up. Do not lose the opportunity to pass by and enjoy being on the terrace😎. There is shadow as there place is surrounded by big trees so do not worry to sunburn!
It a very beautiful place to visit, to have a little sit down and chat with friends during your day out shopping 😊
It is closed until end of june 2023
This is my old review: Fantastic park. Alots of choice for the kids to play. There's a lovely small restaurant in there. Also The water area is fun . Highly recommend
Set in the grounds of Holland Park probably one of the nicest parks in London
Going downhill. This memorial used to be kept really clean and tidy but, even taking into account the situation over the last two years, it has been allowed to become an eyesore.
Nice and clean
Quiet, peaceful and s place to reflect and remember
Memorial dedicated to British Police Officers who have lost their lives whilst on duty. The layers of thin glass stacked upon one another makes for an artistically striking piece.
Behind HOLLAND House and along a straight wildlife edged path this statue is situated in the middle of a two part pond.
What a beautiful place

A fine bronze statue encircled by a little moat. It is situated at a junction of footpaths.
Designed by Lord Foster and Per Arnold.
The National Police memorial was unveiled in 2005 by HM The Queen.
After the death of policewoman Yvonne Fletcher outside the Libyan Embassy Michael Winner the film director setup a fund to remember police officers fallen in duty.
This successfully raised money via public donations and the rest was funded by Westminster Council.
The memorial takes the form of a black granite clad tablet with glass chamber containing a book listing the names of those killed,
This is a very iconic sculpture just outside the perimeter of St James Park and close to Admiralty Arch.
Good to spend time there and remember police officers serving us doing their public duties so well and look after us on a daily 365/24/7 basis and we are very thankful to them.
Nicely maintained statue of the Lord Holland easily found just behind the Japanese gardens and on the path from the safestay. Not much else to see although the plague tells you a little about him and his donation

So sad! Innocent people died. However, a Brilliant memorial!
It's beautiful. Flowers are placed constantly.
Its quiet and peaceful if you forget about the busy streets...but other than that, an amazing well kept memorial with greenery all around.
Very serene even on a main road
Up-kept good with regular replacement flowers, benches for seating however some people drink alcohol there but to little disturbance, overall a respected site that is maintained by the community.
An understated memorial to the British Police Officers who have lost their lives in the course of their duty. Well worth taking a moment to stop and think.

The 7 July Memorial was unveiled in Hyde Park on the fourth anniversary of the terrorist attack, Tuesday 7 July 2009.

The memorial comprises 52 stainless steel pillars (stelae), collectively representing each of the 52 victims, grouped together in four inter-linking clusters reflecting the four locations of the incidents.

Visitors can walk around and through the memorial, reading inscriptions marking the date, time and locations of the bombings placed on each of the stelae as they pass. A stainless steel plaque listing the names of the victims is sited on a grass bank at the far eastern end of the memorial.
Nicely planted with seating in this small area next to busy road
Typical war memorial, the like of which you’ll find in hundreds if not thousands all across UK.

This statue stands in tribute to Henry Richard Vassall-Fox, the 3rd Baron Holland. His main legacy was his service to the British government in various ministerial roles, on the Privy Council and his many political writings such as "Opinions of Lord Holland".

The statue depicts Lord Holland as a middle aged man. Lord Holland is seated on a throne-like chair, looking awkward leaning slightly forward. He wears a suit befitting a gentleman of the 19th century. In his right hand, he holds a cane, while the left is leaning on the armrest.

Not a must see, but worth a small detour if in Holland Park.
One of the most ideal London Train Stations; not spectacular but essential, near the River Thames and the Monument.

Has a memorial in the ticket hall in memory of those passangers who were caught up in a terrorist attack some time ago.

The Guardian Angels respectfully include a reminder that the community has resolve and those departed will not be forgotton.

A sobering reminder and in memorium.

Stark yet personal. This might be one for those of us living or based in London at the time. I saw a family with children reading off names and then an elderly couple going to a particular column. The mood reflects what the scultpture is actually for, and again suits those in a particularly reflective frame of mind.

The sculpture is by Watts, with Boehm providing technical casting assistance.
This was sculpted in 1872 and unveiled in 1926.

Remember that terrible day very well.
First heard an announcement on the radio about "something going on" within the London Underground system. About an hour later the tragedy started to unfold.
There are 52 pillars dedicated to the innocent victims with a full memorial plate listing all 52 names.
A few days later everyone stopped work and spent a minute outside in the streets of London remembering our lost ones.
Terrorism will never win and we will always remember those lost in the 7th July, 2005 London bombings.
Its good really enjoyed it and so did my visiting friends, we took time out had sandwiches after taking lovely photographs, just glad its all over.
