It’s cool to be able to tour and see the building! I’m really pleased with how many pride flags there are outside of offices!
I come oftentimes to Lobby our congressman. Security is tight. NO JOKES.
Come visit your congressman, always best to make appts ahead as they only work a few days mid week… there’s a cafeteria in the basement and a TENDER GREENS nearby
Matt Gaetz has an office here. He is in my opinion disgusting. He ruins the building. His comments and reviews are turned off 🐥🤡🐥🐥🐥🤡🤡🐥🤡🇺🇸🇺🇸
The room # dint match with floors
Beautiful facility and home to the seat of our House leaders.
During my Decade's on Both sides of the Capital- no the House sides The Rayburn House office Building is the Best AKA RHOB
Here with AFGE Meeting with our Representatives
Pretty good and good looking
Closed without an appointment. Doesn't feel like the USA. Doesn't feel like freedom.
Pretty cool marble building.
The building is a typical government building. Some of the members of congress have "stuff" stuck to there doors showing where they stand on issues. Can people disagree on views and still be friends? The family and I visited our congressman today. What a humbling experience.
Amazing
This really is one of the more ornate Office buildings I've ever been in! It's very cool to see the art deco chandeliers and elevator doors and a lot of beautiful wood paneling in the hallways. The one thing I thought it could use in comparison to the Senate Office buildings is some work on the inter courtyard. The inter Courtyard is just a rooftop. It seems they could at least do some sort of rooftop garden to make it look more attractive.
A place to start your visit of the us capitol building
Politics aside, this is a very cool historical building. My father has worked in this building since before I was born and I've visited it countless times. If you ever get the chance to just walk around the inside you'll quickly see the impressive architecture of this building and the history surrounding it. Some people don't know this but you can get to the other house office buildings and the Capitol through underground walkways and an electric tram.
Poco util
It's about half a mile away from the Capitol steps. I honestly thought all the Reps offices were in the main building. But it seems some are in this building, which is half a mile from the Capitol steps. Interesting

Beautiful, so much history. Amazing staff
Easy to get lost. Every floor looks the exact same. Every hall. Maybe colors on different floors? I came into Longworth under the tunnel from Rayburn and got totally lost.
Very friendly people directed me to the office of my congressman. Well organized with directories to help you out. Great location and very accessible.
There are a lot of offices in this building. My Congressman's office is here.
Absolutely rotten service. They don't stay bribed. They just want more and more.
Beautiful building, I enjoyed the basement system to avoid dreary December weather. This building system is easy to navigate, beautiful and unexpected views of the capitol.

It may be your dream place to stay for a week.
2018年9月訪問。月並みですが、ここを訪れるとダン・ブラウン著作「ロストシンボル」が二度美味しく面白く読めると思うんです。皆もっとこの国の建国史を学ぼうw
Un tour realmente muy bonito.

It is easy to miss this historic building across the street from the White House, but stop and take a look and look up the history of the building.

It's part of the history. Enjoy it from the outside!!
Frankly sharing with you there is not much to see and move around the white house. Visited this place in 2013 and a bit disappointed. One can see WH from a far distance. It is just ritual to visit this place while in DC/USA.

Across the street from the White House, Blair House has been the President's Guest House since 1942. It is actually a complex of four formerly separate buildings: Blair House, Lee House, Peter Parker House, and 704 Jackson Place, former residences among the oldest in the District of Columbia. Closed to the public the complex is definitely worth a stop to admire the architecture when in the neighborhood.
Great office building where you can meet your member of Congress
Very nice building with great staff. The cafeteria is good as well.

There are two tours for The White House: The East Wing tour and the West Wing tour. The East Wing is the standard tour where you get tickets through your Representatives' office. The tour itself walks you through the public parts of the White House- where the state dinners are, etc. Recently, they lifted the "no photo" ban on the East Wing so now is the time to go. It's super fun to say you were at the White House and this tour seems well and good....until you learn about the West Wing tour.

The West Wing tour is where the action is. It's the tour of the press room, the cabinet meeting room, the Oval Office, and all the other exclusive, private areas of the White House. This tour can only be accessed through someone who works at the West Wing, but it's SUPER cool!

Both tours require giving your social security number for security reasons.
The House of Representatives’ represent one thing, and that is their bottom line. They are more interested in how they can improve their lives and not the lives of the American people. Our government only provides for the rich and the criminals. Think about it if you take nursing home vs a prison the people in the nursing home, are treated worse than those in prison. When you are in prison, your health is taken care, of food, and you are provided a clean place to sleep. The same cannot be said for nursing homes. In addition, this cost prisoners nothing unlike the others that actually have to pay for their health and other needs. Our government and country need to take lessons from more successful counties, on how to build a happy and successful country. The current system is broken and corrupted with dirty politicians, private business, and silver spoon inheritors claiming to have worked hard for their financial wealth when they really inherited their wealth. Congress is full of oblivious mindless old fools’ what we need is fresh new ideas, and methodology from younger individual’s that are more In tune to current issues. Unlike the older generation that believes it is still the 1950’s.
One of the prettiest Capitol buildings. This building is easy to get turned around in, so I recommend remembering a few landmarks around the floors to keep your orientation. This building has a cafeteria, but the cafeteria is rather small and doesn't have as much food selection as the Longworth Building. It's faster, in my opinion, to walk to the Federal Center metro at times than Capitol South. It's better to walk underground to Capitol South when it is raining or snowing. Federal Center metro has a Starbucks next to it, in case you need a morning coffee before work. Lots of Congressman work in this building and the offices range from large to small depending on the space needed for the office.
