The officers and staff are always very professional and helpful.

Like the UN, this place does very little for peace. It’s hard to believe that the gov give this institution 55mil. What a joke!

Beautiful building, caring staff, important mission — plus they’re willing to take on missions of gravitas related to the unrepresented and underrepresented.

Probably the most beautiful building in all of DC. Really looking forward to working at USIP and facilitating some amazing events and discussions!

A value worth promoting, sharing, & inspiring, thanks. I'd consider professional involvement & association, unfamiliar with operations although had attempted awareness of position & promoting purpose with available direct publication & implication much that I'd endeavoured at the time, only able suppose all that would require & return from pursuing peace. Everything!

The US Institute of Peace is supported by the US government with the goal of promoting and working toward global peace. Hundreds of dedicated staff members work in a beautiful building near the Lincoln Memorial in Foggy Bottom overlooking the National Mall and northern Virginia.
They don't give public tours, but if you go to an event inside or have a friend who works there, you'll see it. It's a great tour where you'll learn about peacekeeping and see their amazing rooftop of the best view of the Lincoln Memorial (you feel like you can reach out and touch it!).

USIP is a good institution doing good work. Attended a number of events here, all of which were well-produced and deeply valuable (show up early for the big events if you don't want to be relegated to one of the overflow rooms). Building is gorgeous, too!
