They don’t answer phone calls. The ones who are supposed to interview us for our case it takes months to answer after being held on a hold for days. I’ve had multiple interviews completed and still no benefits added to my cards. This place needs an upgrade on the system and employers.
If you or a loved one are immunosuppressed, immune deficient, immune compromised, or a germaphobe, be prepared if you have to go to jury duty, this place is filthy and everyone is trying to kill you. If you enter the building during winter and are wearing a hat, they will make you remove your hat and place it on the dirty conveyor to run it through the x-ray machine. The women's restrooms are filthy. The toilet seats have so much dried, caked on stains they look as if they have never been cleaned. I could not find a faucet with running water in the 6th floor women’s restroom, and the faucets all have a button that must be held down in order to get water, not hygienic at all. Be prepared, bring disinfecting wipes. The court room I was brought to has tape marks to indicate social distancing, but the officers cram everyone in shoulder-to-shoulder. The dust bunnies in the courtroom were the size of actual bunnies. Potential jurors show up so sick they are carrying boxes of Kleenex and plastic bags for the used tissues. Most people are not wearing face masks, and there is little to no air circulation in the rooms prospective jurors are put into. All in all, this place is a nightmare come true for anyone immunosuppressed, immune deficient, immune compromised, or a germaphobe. On a scale of 1 to 10 for cleanliness, I would give this place a minus-100.
You mean to tell me, that you guys wait till the 45th day to start working on a case then take 20or more days to process? This is setting alot of people up to fail instead of helping!. Stop eating y'all chips and chatting. Get to work!
I went to see why my card is not working, not getting any money on there, so I had to go to another branch, they take so long!
I called at 10am and left my phone number for a call back, got called at 5pm finally and I said what I needed and the guy put me on hold for 30 min, after that I just gave up
The customer service is atrocious. They sit on their phones all day while the room is crowded with people, so rude. For every one good worker there’s 5 who don’t care
Not all bad, some workers care. Reading some of these reviews is kinda troubling. Knowing they get crowded fast why wouldn't you be there even the doors open? Yes you're there to handle business but do are the other hundreds of people that come to the office and thousands that call on the phone. You have to be patient and understand that the workers are human. Don't think there are any that don't care but well act accordingly.
I went yesterday just to be told to go back Monday. I went to change my date of birth and last name and the women with blonde hair that speaks Spanish and English said it takes long and she could do it because there was more people to attend to. I’m pregnant and this is frustrating for me because I waited in pain didn’t use the bathroom or anything just in case they call me just to find out I basically went for nothing. The women had an attitude I really didn’t know why if I’m like the nicest person. It’s becoming a problem because now I’m getting letters that my health services like dental work and eye exams are not being paid for.
Best office to visit!! Quick, clean professional the guards are nice too
They hung up the phone on me after waiting for 4.5 hours on hold and customer service support has unnecessary attitude.
This is location rate is - 5 . I’m almost visiting this office every week. They are always lying that they solved the issues and will issue the missed benefits . Sick of it.nothing solved for twice times on 5times visiting. if you are here because you didn’t receive the benefits for specific month ,don’t believe what they are saying until you see the payment on your ebt card at the office.
This location is horrible. The workers don’t let you speak to get the proper help. Came at 8:30 to get a a card replacement and for an FX paper to wait 40 minutes to be seen and she says Cash assistance (#7) giving me a CA paper then they do a turn over and (#4) takes the paper never listening to what I have to say and gives me a CC paper. Finally speak with her at 12:30pm and she cuts me off when I’m explaining saying she never gave me the paper and I told her she never let me speak which is the beginning problem. She now gives me a VC PAPER AND tells me to go upstairs.

The supervisor who’s at (#1) is no help whatsoever! Telling me to wait instead of helping assistant me. I could’ve been gone hours ago if the lady in the front gave me the correct paper as well as if (#7) did in the very beginning when I expressed to her my card situation. They’re so in a rush to get you out their face they’re only keeping you there longer.

Oh then 1pm-2pm they decide to go on break mind you there was only 3 of us left to service. So now I’ve been here from 8:30 to who knows what time I’ll be leaving.

I wanna add an edit that the people gave me a replacement card but didn’t help. Went to another location and told them about my day and they found the mistake within 3 minutes and gave me a new temp card that had my funds on it finally. This lady took 7 minutes to figure out the issue and fix it and didn’t understand why they didn’t see it at the first location. I wish I knew her name but I can’t remember. So between both locations I literally left at 5pm. Took all day!
Never answers the phone
Essential consultations
I suggest going in on a Friday or the 1st or 15th of the month, cuz that's when it's less crowded. No one wants to be there in a Friday and they are kind of fast that day cuz the workers want to go home and enjoy their weekend. As long as you come with a positive attitude and knowing you may be there all day, u will be fine. Most of the workers are very nice and reasonable as long as you don't come in there like they personally owe you something, when they are just doing their jobs. So going in there yelling is not going to get you seen any faster then the next. N for all u grown man that go in there creating drama every time I'm there, get a job! Remember ppl this is supposed to be temporary help! Not permanent! Thanks to the workers that really help!
This is the worst site I have ever been to in my entire life. I have never been so disgusted with the lack of customer service they’re very nasty and very disrespectful. They’re so bad they don’t even deserve the titles employees of human resources administration or anything like that. They are horrible people here and not only that but I’ve been here since 8:30am. That’s the time the doors open. It is going one 12 o’clock and I still have not been called for my temporary replacement card
I would give them a zero if I could never worked on my case haven't got my stamps in two months the access hra number takes forever to call u back they need to be shutdown
This place dont do thier job they close cases for no reason because they make mistakes, even though you submit everything needed they still close it ,you go in and wait hours they are so disorganized and unprofessional this place needs to close why pay workers who dont want to do thier jobs
It could be worse. This is New York everyone has an attitude. What you give, you get. Best part of this center they moves fast.

can’t reach anybody. unprofessional and disrespectful staff that strip low income tax payers off their benefits with no explanation or false reasoning with no proof.
They call you from private numbers, leave a message with no callback # while threatening to close my case due to two unsuccessful call attempts as if I'm waiting near my 📱 for them everyday not to mention when you call for an interview..you are waiting over 45 minutes and not a single soul comes on the phone...so unprofessional and frustrating. I'm a true professional so I know what to expect, this place is🤦🏿‍♂️

Don’t bother coming here if you’re a person with disabilities. I came in early in the morning on 08/04/2023 to speak with a case worker regarding my case and I needed an advocate for someone with disabilities. I was given the run around from the ground level to customer service and still didn’t get assistance with what initially visited them for. I’m aware of the access HRA App and how to use it, I spoke with many people on the phone regarding my case and STILL NO HELP! I will be forwarding a complaint with the office of justice center and I will get help legally as well for not being accommodated as a person with a disability.
People treat you like an animal here. Specially who called herself a "supervisor" she's in the #10.
So... It's a long wait similar to the DMV on those people will be pressed for patients. Hi, personally. Don't have any complaints against them. I just wish they updated the number/ticket system.
Thisvis the most direspectful service i encounter in all my life , very bad attitude and not helpfull in the interaction while asking question , just i don’t know …. Nextttrr
Shame on them

I have been here once so far and in all honesty it’s what you make it. I have to go back tomorrow and hopefully get my benefits in from April and May. However the people in need are very unreasonable and I dare say childish. Not all however, all of us who are going there are in need and there is but so many people working to help thousands if not more. We as the ones in need have the audacity to need help and be impatient and then treat the workers with an attitude and act surprised when their days are messed up and they start treating everyone else poorly. I’ve seen people threaten to smack the workers because they are frustrated or cursing them out etc. Obviously they will not want to help you to the best of their ability nor care to because you’re treating them poorly and now it’s a cycle of just disrespect and not caring. Simply because people don’t have patience and feel like they deserve to be helped first if you got a number you will be helped but what you put out is what you’re going to receive. It’s crazy how a simple smile changed the workers attitude and heart. All I did was smile and show joy genuinely and it reciprocated back. The people working here deal with a lot as well we are all people they’re not mindless machines to serve our needs. I understand some being frustrated, but it’s the same as not taking your issues to work don’t attack the hand that can rectify your situation. Kindness and honest genuine joy goes a long way.
My experience was pleasant enough. However, I’m concerned that I went in to cancel a cash assistance application that was pending. Got home to check my account and note it states I applied for SNAP??? When did I apply for anything ??? I’m lost and confused.
I NEVER thought I would be writing a review about the hall of justice, especially since I was there for jury duty. The building is clean and getting through security was a breeze. Everyone there was professional and there to do their jobs efficiently, but still very kind and personable. Jury duty is what it is, but I will say that it was pretty calm, the instructions given by the officers and judge were clear and I personally was done after 2 days. Even after I left the building and realized that I left my charger there, they escorted me back into the room so I could search for it. There was one court officer in particular that really made the experience seamless and went out of his way to talk to me and ask about my day, but unfortunately I didn't get his name. Shout out to that man. He deserves a raise. lol. Overall, not a bad experience, however I don't want to come back anytime soon.
Court officers are surprisingly very courteous and friendly. Building is very clean , quickly went through metal detectors. Experience there as a juror was as pleasant as possible.
They are very very helpful. They have given my mom 87 y.o., so such information and assistance. Thank you for helping ghd community...keep up the excellent work!!!
They never answer the phone and you can never get intouch with anyone , also they always making errors on people cases , they are so unprofessional here they should close this location down honestly
I want to give a Exelent comment about some one from here Ms. ANGELA she was sooo nice she Care about my case ,I request my divorce certificate and she called me ,Yes she called me to let me know I forgot my money order and them the second envelope get lost week later she get the lost envelope and them she called me again to let me know, people like Ms. ANGELA is what we need in public service, our community deserves you. Thank you for you Exelent coustmer service and care about people.
Jury summons...building and floors are clean and smells good. Directions are visible and legible, security calm, very helpful, and looks professional. 👌 the wait time...(I will ignore) - it is what it is..
Hallways are well lit, and it's walls are not cluttered.
Getting all the information about my case in all my way
Here for jury duty the first day was hectic a long line that moved quickly. The second day just show juror pass no line to wait on just went through swiftly. The process for picking to be on a case is the part I am over.
It's called Bronx human resources. They know nothing about humanity. They laugh amongst each other while you are right in front of them. Security should be inspecting and patrolling instead they're sitting down. looking at their phone. Probably on social media. The rolling of their eyes. It does not matter who it is someone is always rolling their eyes. They make you feel lowest of the low. I am the quiet type but I could totally understand why people scream and shouts. They are screaming and shouting to be heard. I just want them to do their job. You don't have to say you're welcome. You don't even have to give a smile. You just hope that the job gets done. Not having to be on top of them like little infants. I get that they have a work load. Isn't that good. When you're busy it makes the time go faster. It almost feels like they pick and choose who they want to take care of. My food stamps didn't come this month. I'm not the only one with this problem. Everyone else is going through the same thing. This month is Thanksgiving. These families will go hungry because they pick and choose who they want to take care of. We are going through inflation plus covid. This should not be happening to any family. Including my own.

This is a City Hall located in the Bronx, where you can get most of the legal matters done such as marriage, divorce, Company Reg. Etc, etc.
This is a well-secured office and the Police and Staff are friendly, and give good reception.
The Staff is well trained and cultured.
They have a very good compound where you can wait for processing and take pictures here as well.
Unbelievable!! Why do they have phone numbers? …like the Infoline and Job Center that they don’t answer. Need better management to serve clients in a better and positive ways. Also every year for my recertification ended up in a messy way and always have problems with NYC HRA, is not the best. And, You scan your own docs making their job easier. Badest service in USA.
BEWARE: If you receive R.Walker as your case manager. Very unprofessional. Wont allow you to ask questions. She will hang up on you and falsify documents so you wont receive emergency funds. Please record your interactions. Very vindictive person. Screenshot your call record when speaking with her.

Worked there during Early Voting
There’s parking spot Behind the building
I have seen animals treated better. This place is disgusting. Staff was dancing instead of helping clients. It was very cold outside and they had my elderly client stand in the cold. When I asked for a chair they stated that they don't have any chairs. Service was slow and unhelpful. If this is your center, I will pray for you.
They were very helpful & knowledgeable about my situation at hand,Whenever I asked a question they directed me to the right place, I was very comfortable with them .👍
Love CB10 they keep us well informed
Horrible place to be, i got my ticket at 10a.m. and it is now 1p.m. and my number has yet to be called the people here are slow and have bad attitudes
Terrible terrible service!! The minimum wait is at least 2 hours. The workers actually aren't that mean just impatient and that affects the aura and then the clients with their children running around and playing it makes for an incredible experience!! It's the city of New York remember and be prepared to wait!!
Thank you.
I had to come here for jury duty. It is a lovely glass building and the COs were very nice. The jury room is spacious and the seats are cushioned and comfortable. You can bring reading material and an iPad to read during the day. Also you can eat on the room so bring snacks as you wait during the day.
Everytime I’ve went there it was okay sevices, keep in mind many people come in here everyday so you have to have a good attitude coming to places like this. People always come in angry getting mad of how long they’re there. No one at their job can move at your pace so when you come to places that are here to help YOU make sure YOU have patience to get helped! Being positive in these places really helps the move along.
The place is either less staffed or less organized than the Hunts Point location. It depends on the day of the week and time of day I guess. I concur with other reviewers that the customer service is lackluster. While I can understand that the staff is overworked, they have an overall non caring attitude toward their clients. Generally as a rule of thumb, always prepare to be at any center 90 mins to 4 hours on average.
I was a Jury Duty for two days at this location. The Bronx County Hall of Justice has comfortable sits to wait for the long day. The building is made of glass and the design is beautiful. It needs more security on the floors. The first floor is full of security but not the other floors. It has a place to eat in the back. You also have other things to do out of the building when you are on brake, including restaurants, stores, coffee shop, etc
