Te puedes sacar de un apuro. Es pequeño y para compras grandes es mejor ir al centro comercial. Pero para cosas del día a día, pequeños olvidos y ese tipo de cosas está bastante bien.
Este sábado 15/6/24. A las 13.00h. me llevé dos barras de pan que estaban indecentes. Mas duro que pan del dia de antes. De hecho, estoy casi seguro que eran del dia de antes. Me parece de muy mal gusto que vendan ese pan como hecho del dia. No vuelvo a comprar. Ya he comprado varias cosas caducadas. Muy poco profesionales.
por no poner 0! van fardando de comprar al agricultor y lo dejan de pagar son unos estafadores, y eso que es una empresa avalada por el dueño de unas grandes superficies de supermercado! asi estamos, sin cobrar 4 meses , estafadores
Venden la comida con la fecha de caducidad del día o día siguiente, compré el día 3 de mayo y tenían a la venta unos yogures con la fecha de ese mismo día , y la carne compre un paquete que caducaba el ,5 de mayo. Pues el día 4 no me lo querían descambiar porque todavía estaba en fecha para consumir ... Y les pregunté si me tenía que comer 10 filetes de golpe??? Al final me lo cambiaron 👍👍 lo normal es que esos productos que están a punto de caducar se avisen 👌👌
Atención a los proveedores!!! Nos han dejado a deber todas las facturas desde enero y ni siquiera es posible contactar con ellos; no cogen el telefono ni responden a mensajes. Evitad trabajar con esta empresa.
El servicio a los clientes, no lo puedo valorar porque lo desconozco, pero si puedo valorar el trato que tienen con proveedores y es pésimo, llevamos meses para cobrar y aún dándoles todas las facilidades que piden tampoco cumplen sus compromisos.

Not so much a market as a collection of couple of dozen stalls each specializing in certain type of gastronomy, with delicious foods that you can try on the spot. Very crowded but if you are a little patient you can always find some space at the tables to taste taste the food. While being a majour tourist attraction, the crowd seemed to be surprisingly local
What a fun place to visit! It was crowded at 4pm but nobody seemed to notice as I think it gets more so later in the evening. Don't miss coming here! One of our tour guides told us this place has 4 Michelin star chefs. Wow! We thought we ordered the chicken croquettes but we really ordered ? fried pork belly so we ended up with both because they looked so good. I loved the pork belly with the lemon mayo drizzle from the chicken. The servers are super nice and so accommodating for us that don't speak Espanol. I'll be heading back today to try the seafood options that were plentiful.
San Miguel Market was bustling with people, even in the late afternoon. To be honest, I didn't like it as much, but I can't deny that it's a good experience and great for having a quick bite of various small dishes. Despite my personal preference, I appreciated the opportunity to try different foods in one place.
This is definitely a must visit in Madrid, however I wouldn’t plan around it. You can get in and out fairly quickly and try a bunch of different things. Make sure you come with an appetite as there is many things to try and they’re very affordable. The best thing we had was the calamari and shrimp!
Really great place to try out a lot of different tapas. We went on a Saturday morning and it was really crowded but still manageable.
Our favorite thing we ate were the taco bowls, all of them had great flavors. My favorite was the shrimp with egg one.

During our visit, we opted for two freshly squeezed juices and two medium-sized fruit bowls. this was my favorite mercado in madrid for food. there were soo many tapas options starting at 1 euro making it super easy/fun to try a bunch of different things. warning that it is pretty chaotic inside - filled with both locals and tourists.
Great market!! It's not huge, but the selection is very good quality. There are bunch of tapas shops, and some other local vendors, mainly food related. The tapas that I got were very good and fresh. It was busy though. And they serve alcohol, and there's some seating inside the market. Great place overall and I'd definitely recommend it.
Higly recommended market with some great small cafes/restaurants downstairs. Super friendly staff although not everyone speaks english so a bit of spanish is good to know.

I would argue that this is the best mercado in Madrid. They have a excellent variety of really cool and authentic stalls to buy food and drinks.

The most tourist friendly of the Mercados. High quality products at an equally high price. Great food and variety but budget for around 20-40 euros per person, without drinks.
Nice market. Quite crowded sometimes and honestly a lot of stuff is too overpriced. 17€ for a tiny portion of deep fried squid and not even freshly fried. I think you can find better food at a better price point. But if you want the market experience, go for it.

Nice Supermarket
One of my favorite markets anywhere. The variety of food and desserts is expansive. You can try a little bit of everything, or a lot of one. The vendors serve a wide variety of visually enticing gastronomical delights. It’s almost a shame to eat the artistically presented treats, but one must do his/her duty. You can also wash down your lunch with a glass of grape or a pint of beer. It gets very crowded at lunch so keep a close eye on the tables for a spot.

My favourite place to visit in Madrid! So many delicious food vendors selling the most beautiful and tasty tapas! So much variety and selection. Quite a bit busier than when we last visited 10 years ago, but the quality has stayed the same. A bit on the pricey side but everything is so filling you will likely only be able to try a few things.

An absolute must. Everything I ate was amazing. The whole vibes is amazing. Hard to find a place to actually eat you're probably gonna be standing shoulder to shoulder with a stranger. But we made some new friends that way. Will be going back.

It is a municipal market built in 1930, it has 62 stalls with a selected range of quality food and is located in the barrio Arapiles, belonging to the district Chamberí, very close to the Quevedo metro station. Its colorful and traditional facade makes it impossible to miss. The market includes several stalls with a careful selection of quality products at reasonable prices. The venue also has a tasting room where you can sample food on site.
Loved it here. Such a bustling environment for all types of social, it felt like a glimpse into Madrid culture. Great food and drinks on offer, and everybody is so friendly

Great selection of small bars and cafes with amazing number of different cuisine. Something for everyone, nicely informal and obviously much used by locals. Good value, open in the evening until 10pm

It has everything you can ever need
A lot of meat, meat and more meat. Some have produce. This is a great, historical market for locally-owned businesses. I found it to be impressive for the Spanish pig legs as it first I didn’t realize they were pig legs and thought it was of another animal. The employees at the market are very hard-working and make a living off of the commodities and products they sell.
Pedí ayer por Glovo, la empanada en vez de 600 era de 400, me avisaron, pero me cobraron la de 600 encima venía CADUCADA, y el pan rústico tipo caduca el domingo, cuando suele durar un mes. Son las únicas cosas que venía que podía caducar y mal la dos. Alucinante.

Very huge centro comercial...with Carrefour hyper market...cinema and lot of big brands available here far from Madrid city centre.
Very colorful indoor market. During the rush hours hard to find a place to sit and eat due to the very small restaurant and bars and the waiting line looking for seat.
Terrible service. I asked to choose the Euro currency when paying for goods with a card. The cashier chose another one, which resulted in a double conversion of the amount, which caused more money to be withdrawn from my card. I asked to cancel the transaction and pay with the correct currency. I was assured that this could not be done, and after a long conversation they agreed to return it in cash.
I was forced to pull out all the products, all the goods were punched back and told to attach the card to the terminal for confirmation. I understood this as a confirmation - that I made this purchase, but in fact they made a refund to the card and in the Euro currency (in total, due to the cashier's mistake, the bank earned on double conversion). They also said that the amount would be returned in two days If not, then I need to go to the bank to sort it out. If I had known that the return would be on the card, I would not have made a return and wasted so much time and nerves.
After all the goods were punched to me again, and after that it turned out that the cashier made a mistake when calculating the amount and I had to pay a large amount already.

Very convenient and not too large. Still had almost everything you would require from fresh juice, fruit and veg etc. They do not have a fresh fish or meat section. Neither cheese or bread counter. Although they do have all these items in the fridge.

The beer selection is quite limited. There is parking available on the streets outside and it is all located on one floor so wheelchairs have good access.

Plenty of eating and drinking shops with a variety of cuisine. We were a little worried when we got there since the market looked dead but we were there too early. By 8pm the place was hopping on a Friday night. Can recommend.
This mercado is very nicely sourced. All are farm raised ingredients and they have freshly made food offerings. The vegetables and fruit are quite large and organic. The meats are well-packaged and beautifully displayed. #1 rated tortilla de patatas in Spain is at Casa de Dani, but try all other foods as well. They have a variety of ethnic restaurants including Mexican, Italian, Argentine, Mediterranean, and others. It is in the middle of the Salamanca district, surrounded by luxury retail stores, and it is a 10 minute walk to Retiro Park. A quick stop for a bite to eat here makes for a nice addition to any trip.

Unexpectedly pleasant. Particularly highlight of the visit is the new craft beer store in the market: Lambeer
Very clean and tidy local market, and you can find great deal for seafood, especially locally caught red shrimp in a very reasonable price. The jamon bellota is also cheap and nice here.

After an afternoon of shopping nearby. We wanted some apps and beverages. Came across this little market. We went into Parilla Argentina. They had blood sausage, so ya boi had to go in.

It is an old shopping center of Madrid, it is small but sufficient. There are many shops that you can find what you need. It is luminous, and it is in Alcacia, very much close to the center… If you want to be in a shopping mall and not on the streets , it is a nice choice. And there are enough parking spaces , under, and also they are free, which is nice.

Well it is quite small and very busy all the time, the carrefour is a good size with all the product that you might need but I don't find the other stores very helpfull.
My first time to visit this place in October 2021 when I have my appointment at AllainAffleou to have an upgrade on my eyeglasses. We didn't have a hard time locating AllainAfflelou as the directory/map of the establishment was kind of handy.
Then we had our lunch at the Cafe Bar just at the entrance side of Carrefour supermarket. Everything went well. We enjoyed the food and went home satisfied!😁

Just like most malls in Madrid, this one feels dull and lacking. Maybe the kid games that seem to be from the 90s are to blame, but overall, it just has a heavy atmosphere that makes you wanna get outta there.
I really enjoy going to this Alcampo.But there is one problem that they should solution.How is it possible that you can not enter this location in particular with other bags? Yet you can enter any other location with bags,for example the location in the mall "La Vaguada".I honestly do not understand this,it is very much uncomfortable Can you please solution this? I find it uncomfortable and absurd.I hope to hear a response from your side.

You can buy everything you need for your cooking, very wide range of choices with affordable prices. The seafood is very fresh, and the local food is amazing.
This shopping centre has all amenities you need to spend a whole day for. Do your groceries and have some food in one of their restaurants, there is also a cinema, if you would like to watch a movie before going back home.

After renewal Mercado de Prosperidad is an attrative place with several stands for fruits, meat, fishs, etc. Theres also a supermarket in the upper floor (Ahorramás) and a traditional chocolate store (San Ginés). Do not miss a typical chocolate con churros in this cozy place.
An amazing fish market, with a dozen or so stalls displaying a huge variety of fish. There are a few vegetable and other food speciality shops there also and some cafes too. Upstairs you can find an equivalent market for meat, beside the Ahorra Más supermarket
Big but detailed. Everything you want and need...you can probably find it here. Up to date with stock and season. Friendly security...spacious and timely cash outs.

Probably the best market in a wide area. Great selection of meat, fruit and vegetables. Also possible to get some rarer things such as habanero chilis there.
Nice selection of shops for your groceries, combined with a few restaurants with different kinds of foods! There is a Peruvian, a Korean, a Mexican, a German and a asturias restaurant among other newcomers. The market is still relatively new and growing now, but you will find it already packed on the weekends at lunch time.

Yesterday was my first shopping here. I was desperate to find some products which I always find in Loranca 2. I had to find by myself the missing items which were all over the place on the pallets. Interesting but not pleasant experience.
Best prices in town, period. Not so cool as Carrefour but you don't need to be an engineer to find out how much is your tray worth.
Nice market like in the old times, with different stalls selling their products. There is a big and new 'Ahorramas' and a gym.
