I got the pork shoulder, my whole family enjoyed it. It was so flavorful and tender.
This place has amazing quality of meat. I got the pork shoulders and ribeye steak. Both were delicious and I will definitely be a repeat customer.
The store is amazing and has so many great options for different foods and snacks my favorite food is the marinated ribeye roll.
Really good service I enjoy coming every day! Their marinated Bulgoji beef and short ribs are so so good! I always order the 5 lbs ones and they do the marination for free!!!!
I can't say enough good things about this butcher shop. The quality of their meat is outstanding, and the customer service is always top-notch. I'll never shop anywhere else for my meat needs.
The quality of tofu and kimchi from this butcher shop is unparalleled. You can taste the difference in every bite. It's a must-visit for any food enthusiast.
The team at this butcher shop is fantastic! They're knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile. The meat is fresh and delicious. I'm a customer for life!
I love supporting local businesses, and this butcher shop is a prime example of why. The meat is always fresh, the cuts are perfect, and the staff treats you like family.
This store need to be investigated and shut down. I go here only because of the convenience and they know this about a lot of customers around here and a lot of customers are immigrants so they will not complain about anything or any business. They overcharge and they are nasty. NO ONE SPEAKS ENGLISH NO ONE KNOW WERE ANYTHING IS AT BECAUSE THEY DON’T UNDERSTAND. They’re even teaching their new employees how to be nasty to the customers just recently I saw a person of color and an Indian person working in their first time for that. I’ve been living here for three going on for years they must’ve got reported on that part but they need to be reported on price gouging expired food, and when the food is about to expire, they put it on special they sell, expired meats like it’s so disgusting and management is disgusting right along with their employees. I’ve reported them to BBB and immigration also to the labor board and I’m looking for other places to report them because they price gouging example I go in any other supermarket big stores, ShopRite, Stop & Shop, whatever And I buy tea any quality laxative regular weight loss whatever and I use my EBT card why I go in here and I can’t use my EBT to buy tea they want cash that’s illegal so I’m reporting them to everybody that I can report them to. Just because this is the predominant immigration area they are taking advantage, and enough is enough. You see in the picture they say T/M labeling it as medicine, no one ever in any of the other supermarket ever have it down as a medicine. It’s Tea
Some hard to find thai utensils here that used to be sold in the stores in the surrounding areas. Alot of her basic thai ingredients are overpriced. I'm only leaving 2 stars because the very first time me and my friend came in here she wanted to act like she was very friendly and welcoming at first and then do a 360 when my friend had asked to use the bathroom because of digestion problem. The owner had said yes but then kept bothering my friend and knocking on the door like every 2 minutes thinking we were gonna steal, and mind you my friend is from thailand just like her. Guess in her mind you can't even trust your own people when it comes to using the bathroom. Anyways our conclusive interaction didn't end well with the owner having an attitude and me being extremely annoyed that someone would continously bother someone while they were in the bathroom( it's extremely rude). We paid for our stuff and having an attitude myself gave her the money and walked out and promised to never return here again.

The store itself is great. When lines get long they are fast and efficient in getting things coordinated. The only thing I hate is the parking. Even though there is a parking lot it's hard to maneuver and it's always packed

I've been coming to HMart since 2015 and it exceeded my expectations the first time I went there. They have fresh produce, snacked sweets, and sealed protein for you to choose from.

(They even have a Paris Baguette and a mini food court to sit down and relax)

(Personal Brag: I like the Sweets aisle and Paris Baguette because I get to snack them on while having a busy afternoon in Nassau County, Long Island.)

- Come support Asian communities!

I was followed around the store the watched up front during check out by 3 different people accosted by a man that spoke no. English, all the while, an elderly couple in front of me preceeded to steal food. I think I won't be going back.

Fresh meats and mostly well stocked small/medium food store. However, have to take off points for their deli/hot food section. They tend to be prejudice towards black customers. After speaking with a few other customers, we've seen slights, and hatefulness thrown our way. Especially if you are a U.S. born ethnic customer. I've contacted management on this behavior, and they need to address it - not in just sorry's and nice words. DO something about it. People don't want to be treated a certain way coming into the country, then don't try to shade at people who are from this country.

From the moment I step foot into your establishment, I am greeted with warm smiles and genuine enthusiasm, creating an inviting atmosphere that sets the stage for an enjoyable shopping experience. The dedication and commitment to customer satisfaction exhibited by your staff is truly commendable.

Your store consistently exceeds my expectations in terms of product quality, variety, and innovation. It is evident that the selection of items is carefully curated, catering to diverse tastes and preferences. I am always thrilled to discover unique and hard-to-find products that enrich my life and bring joy to my loved ones.

However, what truly sets your store apart is the exceptional level of customer service. The knowledge and expertise demonstrated by your staff members are truly remarkable. They possess an in-depth understanding of your products, offering valuable insights and personalized recommendations that have greatly influenced my purchasing decisions. Their willingness to go the extra mile in assisting customers, addressing concerns, and providing prompt solutions is highly commendable.

Many Asian dry and fresh ingredients. Various soy sauces, fish sauces, oils, dry and fresh mushrooms, oyster sauces, seaweeds, fresh and dried fish, pre-sliced beef for Korean BBQ (low - high priced.) Numerous types of noodles. Extensive frozen section of dumplings, pork/beef/chicken buns, meat/vegetarian shumi, tofu types, Asian desserts, and various ingredients and meats. It is a large and well stocked store that includes many American food products also.
I can usually find everything I need to cook a meal from Korea, Japan, China, Vietnam, Philippines, and Thailand. Great store with very minor wait on line to check out.

I started getting meat from here once they got HMS certified. I once bought chicken from here from the pre-packed plates. The cashier smelled it and I asked what was wrong. She said that some of the meat had gone off so she was checking. When I went home and unwrapped it, the meat was stinking. My issue is: why didn't they take the meat off the shelves if there was a possibility of it being off????
Anyway that was few months ago. Yesterday i bought chicken, not prepacked, I asked the butchers in the back for baby chickens. Two of them were smelling a bit when I washed them. I thought its just me and it can't be off, so I proceeded to cook it. As soon as it got hot it started stinking horribly so I knew it's definitely off.
Never getting meat from here ever again.

Food is fresh, price is premium, service is below average for its premium pricing and products. It’s extremely difficult to return. They inspected the defective products as if you committed a crime. Return and refund were within policy (7 days with receipt and no fresh produce allowed). You HAVE to return to the exact location where you bought to the item, not at any H Mart. They either yell at you and talk down on you for asking questions and for explaining that the item was broken and that’s in still in its brand new form without use yet. Just a very horrible customer service experience for its premium/high end grocery stores. Should not be like that. I like buying their food and grocery but really frustrated and taken back by their customer service.

Excellent place, good prices and amazing selection of goods
My go to spot for deshi groceries. Love that it’s 24/7. My preferred time for shopping is later at night when it’s chill. Gets busy during the day!
One of the best supermarkets in the area. It specializes in carribean foods. So many items thats not available in many of the other supermarkets, and I've been to most. I'm Jamaican and I felt at home here. The variety is amazing. From sugar cane, breadfruit, and soursap, the list goes on. The meat is fresh and so is the produce. The prices are reasonable. The lines tend to be longer but they move quickly.

Amazing store. They have most everything you could want, in virtually every department, and most major world cuisines are represented. Their fish department stands out as particularly impressive(they offer fish cleaning/fileting of a wide variety of whole fish that are on display and are visibly super fresh).
The organic produce selection could be substantially improved.

This supermarket has a huge selection of items. The layout is a bit strange but after a few visits, it's relatively easy to find what you're looking for. My biggest and pretty much only issue with shopping here are the prices. They're very expensive for such a large store.

Good customer service, and I buy my beef from here. Always fresh.
They used to be very good and not pricey but since last couple of months they are very expensive and charge you over the price, if anyone get the meat before pay do proper calculations on the price. They do charge me extra $60 when i called them they never received a call, never responded.
Amazing sales. Perfect for your immediate needs
The only supermarket in Jackson heights that has Shiria certified halal meat.
Not as crowded as past visits. Parking lot is more organized and clean. Aisles have less boxes, making them more accessible. Short lines. Faster checkout.
Make early morning runs to this Caribbean-Asian grocery. The parking lot was recently done over, so there are slightly better parking options. Fruits and vegetables are fresh. Management is innovating constantly to make visit quick and seamless. Staff is friendly and knowledgeble.
I love shopping at farmbria. Unfortunately for me and maybe not for others they are mixing meat in meat packages, I’m guessing for a higher price maybe it was an accident but I’m watching you guys… I’m not the sort of customer to eating different sorts of meat… keep doing a great job!

Today a situation happened with my wife and a store employee, in the vegetable area from 8:40 to 9 am, my wife went to look for tomatoes, she got to where the tomato was and saw that it was a little damaged, A store employee made a comment to my wife, if she wanted fresh tomato, she answered yes and thanked her, but the employee began to harass her telling her to invite him to eat, what she was going to cook, my wife replied that she was married ,, to keep her distance, the guy replied that it didn't matter if she was married, my wife felt really harassed by the employee ,, he quickly went to the area where I was. When I looked at her, she seemed scared but she didn't say anything to me, until we were far from the store, I think these people should have more respect.
I gave two stars for prices are high , so I don't know how people can't tell difference , when best prices is the small supermarket in Sunnyside queens , own by Turkish People and all vegetables and fruits best prices in all woodside, much less than all supermarket and you save so much. I recommend that supermarket on Sunnyside , which all thank me . I'm not sure if those reviews are legit or posted by owner. I like to give honest reviews and with the high prices of food now a days , you can save lots.
This supermarket is filthy and rundown. It looks like it is rarely every cleaned. It is also incredibly dusty and grimy to the point that if you smell your hands after touching a shopping cart or anything in the store, they reek badly. The place is poorly stocked and the produce, meat, canned goods, and baked goods it has are almost always rotten and expired or very near to being rotten or expired. As a vegan, the vegan options in this store are pathetically limited. Even Target and Walmart have more vegan options in the way of vegan cheeses, ice creams, mockmeats, and other plant based alternatives for essential grocery items. The prices are outrageous. A head of cauliflower goes for $9.99 and a box of cereal goes for $8.99. This is a third world supermarket that charges Vivienne Westwood and Fendi prices. I will never, ever shop at this horrible supermarket ever again. As a non driver, I’d rather take a bus and train to Whole Foods in Manhattan because Farmbria is more expensive than them while being the 8th world version of them. Everything at Farmbria is just poverty and sadness and the workers are incredibly rude.

Over crowded and ridiculously over priced. I remember during the pandemic I went to buy milk and a half gallon was $11.50 ( no kidding)
I asked what was going on and the manager said " we only have a few "

What's the old saying,( to many chiefs and not enough Indians ?)

Supervisor's and the manager are incredibly rude.

I used to frequent that supermarket before it was sold.

It's very uncomfortable walking down the aisle due to overcrowded groceries in boxes. They eventually lower the prices when items are nearing expiration.

It does appear to be cleaned throughout the day.

I stay away from the deli because I've seen the lead cook not using gloves 90% of the time.
Although, I had purchased baked ziti from the deli once and when I arrived home and sat down to eat. I spit it into the garbage. It tasted like vinegar. The cheese was rancid.

I drive elsewhere for my groceries and save a substantial amount.

If you can, find an alternate Supermarket where you are not getting price gouged.
I did shopped with them. I am happy for fresh groceries, meet & fish.

This store is absolutely massive and has excellent selections. The meat and seafood departments are probably the best in the neighborhood. We love getting great cuts of beef and pork here, and it's the only place I trust for thin sliced rib eye. Friendly and helpful staff!

NICOLE is very nice and helpful team member as a Cashier!!!
The people are friendly. The food is fresh but a little expensive. The store has improved. There is more room for people and the store stays open late at night.
Nice place to shop for veggies. Worth a visit if you are in the area. Best place in the area for bean sprouts(price and quality). As any grocery shopper worth her or his salt, comparing veggies and price is the way to go, Food Express should always be included in the area mix!

The owner is super friendly and tells you about the various products and how they do it in Thailand. We've been here many times. They've got hard to find Thai products and several fresh, locally made food like fried banana or banana wrapped in a banana leaf with rice. I come here to find concentrated liquid coffee with sugar that looks like a tall glass bottle. You can make your own Thai iced coffee with it at home with condensed milk or plant based milk.

Support your local Thai community. It's fun to shop here, and she's got a cute kitten, too.
One of the oldest Bangali Grocery in New York.

For lost items they never give it back to customers. They charge extra and if you complain they don’t want to solve this problem. Mr Helal as a Manager doesn’t know about customer relations.

Overpriced low value store! Buyers be aware! Always watch the screen when they’re ringing up your items. This is my second incident with them and they won’t honor their prices. The first time they had the whip Philadelphia whip crème cheese 2 for 9. They argued me down until they finally said oh you’re right. Yesterday I made a purchase for these nuggets where it clearly says 5.99 when I returned home 20 mins away and reviewing my receipt I realized I was charged 10.99 for this. Mind you target sells the same thing for 7.69. I returned back today to do a price adjustment even showing them the same price tag in the store and they refused to. The cashier then turned to two Spanish girls who’s seem to be hanging out one in all black with a tight ponytail another with burgundy hair. They told her my item was wrong and just refund her. Where is the customer service? This place has always been distasteful. Food Bazaar you made a terrible mistake franchising with them. Good luck!

There is some good and bad. I had stopped going here when it was called Farmbria due to the extremely long checkout lines and because the security would occasionally follow me around the store. With the new management, the store seems much more clean and organized. They have even added one of those modernized screens that tells you which cashier is ready à la Whole Foods. The produce section is well maintained which I primarily go there for. There are new hours allowing you to shop until 10:30p which is great for me to avoid the long lines.

Now the bad. The prices are exorbitant! I don't even see prices this high in Manhattan. I can't imagine shopping for a large family here. Probably the biggest negative: the neighborhood is over 90% Black (just looked it up) and I haven't seen one Black person working there other than the security. What happened to all the people that were there when it was called Farmbria? The store has some potential but I probably will only go here as a backup plan.

EDIT: After a few weeks came back for some of their fresh cut fruit which had a weird taste. Still no people from the community working there. I pass.

Monday Dec 19 around 9: 15 before I step out the house I check online your store hours say open- close 8pm . I went there and door half way open meaning people/ workers already inside . I called the store phone number 5 times and no one pick up . Pls update your specific hour on your website. It is a waste of time traveling to your place and wait for 30 minutes to open and never happened. I rather go to Filipino store that are reliable with their opening and closing hour.
I am regular customer of Mannan. Today’s manager was Mr. Nadim who don’t understand customer handling. I have objected for their frozen Roshogolla & ask them to remove the Roshogolla from the shelf as they are not good quality. I kept this Roshogolla for the whole day I found hard ball in side the Roshogolla but in reply he ask me to get touch with the sweet supplier as this is my responsibility. They are charging premium for Roshogolla which is not eatable. They changed me $15 for one box. I lost my face to my relatives as I bought for them. I draw the attention of the management to rectify this issues. I was having a good relationship with Mr. Mannan( late). I hope their family will keep the good name in the market & hive good training to the managers so that understand how to run business. By the way I didn’t ask for refund from them , I only asked him to remove the Roshogolla from the shelf but he was trying to protect the interest of the company so that he don’t need to pay the refund. I hope the matter is clarified. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to call me.
Thanks & best regards

I always buy in this supermarket and I have never had a problem except the last two times three weeks ago I asked butcher who was there to please clean and cut the meat he told me that he couldn't and that there was no one I look for another guy who was nearby and he did it. Today i went for the same thing there's a worker and he told the other to do it but he reluctantly took the meat package and when I looked at it he changed his attitude, i don't know why i had a bad feeling i was going to leave it there. when I get home i see that the meat is decomposing pieces of the meat are black and starting to smell bad. $40 thrown away
The worst place.

It's the nearest Bengali shop to me. Opens 24/7
Still, I am trying to avoid this place.

Rotten meat, nasty smell near the meat and dairy section, expired food(a lot)

I remember going there to buy diet coke and found it expired 3 months ago. Literally all of them. 1 of them expired years ago.
No one cares.
After that I visited that place hundreds of times, every time I found some kind of expired product.

I recommend you all to check expiry dates before buying anything from this place.

Especially canned and bottled products. If there's nothing written on it, don't buy it, they might have erased it so that customers don't get to notice.

Tindahan, which literally translate to “store”, opened last month, and is in the heart of Elmhurst on busy Broadway near the hospital. It’s a tiny store filled with Asian/Filipino grocery items. You’ll find the usual Filipino desserts, snacks, candies, drinks, noodles, frozen food (lumpia, sausages), etc. And in the back of the store is a DolEx Financial counter where you can send money to the Philippines.

Some items of interest that I found while checking this store out:

-Baked good from Kape’t Torta (Filipino bakery located in nearby Queens Blvd): we got the Ube Cheese Pandesal whichwas great the next morning after toasting in the oven. It only had a hint of ube flavor but great, nonetheless.

-Homemade “ice candy”: this is a popular Filipino summer treat and is similar to a frozen popsicle or a Mexican Paleta. The ones here are huge and they are offered in two flavors (mango and ube). You don’t really see this offered in stores here in NYC, so it was nice to see.

-Frozen Halo-Halo: made by a local company (based in Maspeth) called FilRo Delights. I had never heard of them and decided to try out the Buko Pandan Halo-Halo and the Ube Halo-Halo. OMG, it was so GOOOD!! It had the right amount of toppings and was so flavorful. I also loved the packaging (the size and the spoon it comes with). To enjoy the dessert all you have to do is let the Halo-Halo sit for a few minutes to soften and then mix the contents by squeezing the container around. Super convenient! I can see myself buying this for a picnic or for the beach. You buy the Halo-Halo frozen and by the time you get to your destination it’s at the optimal eating window. I’m actually already planning on going back and buying all of the flavors and bringing it to my Friendsgiving event next week. I think it will be a huge hit.

The other I wanted to note was that the staff was really helpful and welcoming. Right now, the store is still somewhat under the radar having just opened. When we visited it wasn’t busy and we were able to take our time looking around and not have to worry about bumping into people. I’m in the neighborhood often so I can definitely see myself coming here to get provisions and those yummy frozen Halo-Halo desserts!

Don’t buy any meat! It’s always spoiled. They never exchange or return money without receipt. Even if it has their logo on it. It’s disgusting I bought veil and the date of expiration was still not due and it smells like the meat was beyond rotten. Horrible service!! It’s a zero. Not even a one star. Never going there again. Horrible customer service with Jenny the “shift manager” who swears she has a big tittle. She should be fired for her disgusting behavior and attitude. Their loss not mine. The prices here are great. They have fantastic sale prices on vegan food and produce. They had many cashiers available to help speed the line along. The selection on vegan food here is amazing. The produce is certainly very fresh. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Good sales but mostly the sidewalk in front of the supermarket usually stinks with water that’s in the sidewalk. There are people that probably work there that just hang outside the store. Sometimes inside is good and others there are things in the way. Now with Covid, sometimes it gets full.

Food Bazaar Supermarkets wasn't our priority to do groceries shopping before COVID-19 but we visited a couple of times recently since their price has been stable and the supply was enough. One of the best things was there’s no line to enter from our experience.

The safety procedure of sanitizing and social distancing especially during checking out was great, so we shopped without any concern. The staff was friendly and willing to help.

The product lineup was well organized and clean. There was no empty shelf and we could find the majority of items on our list. The meat and seafood looked fresh and in good quality, but we didn’t have a chance to try them yet.

Great store that has a lot of the essentials for thai groceries. The owner helped me as I was shopping to make a red curry. She suggested things and showed me the recipe book she has to help guide me. She says she's open from noon to midnight. There are also nice house plants available for purchase.

This supermarket you can find food from around the world. The meat department is extremely cold, this avoids any bacteria or spoilage, meat stay fresh. There are all types meat, seafood, pork, beef, chicken in a variety of cuts. The vegetables and fruits are always fresh. Bakery department have fresh buns, croissant and a few other Spanish cakes that is baked daily on the premises. I recommend this supermarket
a bit pricey, butchers are nice

Edit: I don't know how this supermarket received a 3.9. Maybe from their regular customers. I only come to purchase meat. Some vegetables look very good to purchase, some have flies over it. They should consider removing those.

First few times I had come, the cashier that worked there asked me where I am from, so I said that I am from Sylhet. There is no point of saying that I am from Bangladesh when the cashier himself is from Bangladesh. Then, he replied, "Well you should say you are from Bangladesh and not the district you are from." If I did say I was from Bangladesh then his following question would be, "Where in Bangladesh?" I thought it was odd to have that conversation. He knows I am Bangladeshi, I know I am Bangladeshi. Let's get straight to the point and know our differences. Bangladesh has many districts.

Most cashiers are very nice but there was one who made fun of my Bengali because my Bengali accent sounded Banglish. So, in front of everyone she announced, "This is the reason, I teach my children proper Bengali." Did my parents not teach me Bengali? I know how to read, write, and speak Bengali. Just my accent sounded American. The cashier shouldn't make fun of others because the rude action will reduce customers like me coming and spending money.

Bought frozen Koi fish and found a big nail inside the stomach of Kou fish.

I don't think I will be returning back as a customer.
A lot of choices especially if you are looking for Philippine food items. Good prices too, surprisingly, and can be very helpful to you if you have a budget. They generally have friendly service, particularly the cashiers, even if they don't speak much English. Inside, some areas can be not that nice and fresh smelling, so some constant clean up can be used, I strongly suggest the owners to consider and take action so it can be a far more pleasant shopping experience for every one.

This store is busy all the. time .Great veggies.Right next to garden world. The selection is huge and has Boston market frozen foods my favorite in there what can I say am American but they have marinated meats that are delicious .
We've proven time and again that this store has the best price among the Asian products retailers in the area, with some food items only two-thirds the price of those sold at another store we frequent -- which makes you wonder how long these other stores have been profiting from over-pricing. Cost aside, their wet market, fresh produce, and grocery sections are clean and well-stocked.

Small Thai grocery store with a very friendly and helpful owner, and good selection of hard to find Thai ingredients. They had a couple of items I could not find elsewhere in NYC. As the owner told me, "If you can't find it anywhere else, come here."

Because the store is small it can be bit hard to locate. Also, weekday hours are from 1pm until late. Weekends they open earlier, but I wouldn't try going before noon just to be safe.

The posted address is correct, I'll post a picture of the storefront with this review.

It has almost all the Thai staples that you need, the shopkeeper is very friendly and will help you out with finding extractly what you need even if you do not know what the items names are (some of these stuff can be hard to remember/pronounce in Thai). They also sell cooked food snacks, those are a must to try, they are Thai street food.

I absolutely LOVE this store. We actually started shopping at a new store closer to where we live but it just didn't compare to Food Bazaar.
My only complaint (and it's a VERY recent one) is that two weeks in a row, we bought chicken and some in the package were good and some weren't. I don't know what's up with that, but we're going to start buying organic chicken again and see if the same problem happens.
Other than that, like I said, it's a really great supermarket.

First visit, the owner was very friendly and helpful. The second visit, she was very rude. She was busy texting on her phone, hardly offering to look up and giving curt answers. No assistance, no help and condescension to any question I asked even though I was trying to be as nice as possible despite her attitude.

The first visit she said I should come back and she can tell me how to make Tom Yum soup and that she has all the ingredients. So I train all the way out there and she tells me "just use lemongrass, lime leaves, chili peppers and galangal". I ask "how much lemongrass do I use" and she replies "as much as you need". I kept asking for the procedure and she wouldn't offer much of any information just saying those ingredients are all I need. "Dont you also use fish sauce?" and she replies "of course, otherwise no flavor"; so much for helping with the process and ingredients.

After I purchase the ingredients, and her being extremely unhelpful the whole time, she ends with "look up a recipe on the internet".

Her prices are higher than other places. She didn't have fresh galangal, just frozen. For me, I wanted to like this place because of her but the second visit killed it for me. I'd rather go to Bangkok Center Grocery in Chinatown which has everything you need including fresh galangal at a good price or 3 Aunties Thai Market which is on Roosevelt nearer to the Woodside stop (15 min walk from Thai Thai Grocery)

Oh, and the "fried bananas" on the weekend, I asked her "aren't those supposed to be eaten fresh and hot" as they are in Thailand and other parts of SE Asia. She confirmed that is how you should eat them but conceded eating them at room-temperature after they've been sitting around for several hours is normal here.

So altogether you have an owner who is already charging a premium for stuff who is going to potentially be rude and condescending to you if you are interested in Thai food. I don't appreciate being scoffed at for trying to learn (especially after she invited me to come back to do just that). Not interested in playing that game.
The owner is such a lovely lady. She was very nice and you can find all the fresh thai goodies for your favorite thai dishes. Will come back. 100% recomended.
