Wish there was more play ground equipment for younger kids but over all it's a great park. They have bathrooms and a large pavilion. There are benches for parents and two porch swings too.

The family had a blast! Great community!

It’s a beautiful park, great for kids, but they need to fill the pop machines. It is May 2 kids get thirsty. And adults too.

Had my grandson There he had a ball..
Some people do need to watch their children a little bit closer. Though. You don't just take your kids to the park and turn them loose.

Came here with the family for the Easter egg hunt event, and it was so lovely. The egg hunt itself got canceled due to rain but we were still able to get pictures with the Easter bunny as well as drink hot chocolate and color a picture. It was very nice. Thank you to everyone who arranged it.

This is a very great place for any event you'd like to hold that doesn't require alcohol, alcohol free park. Its located just behind Brooklyn Police Department and they drove up and down the paths to keep everything safe and under control. … More

Its sad the city puts tons into a new fire station, jail , police station and everything else but not a dime into this place.
They have the lights on inside the restrooms and pay that electric but keep the doors locked so kids cant go potty.. but have the lights off at the playground pavilion..
so stupidly at its finest.
The roof on the kids pavilion needs new shingles (they are falling off) but as long as they got a new police station then lets overlook the park that hasn't had the water on in the kids water park for YEARS..
This use to be a nice park but its went to crap..
Closed restrooms, vending machines not working, place is falling apart just to name a few.

Nice little park in the shadow of Manhattan bridge. access to a small beach with great views of down town.

It’s a tiny park in dumbo, where lots of people watch sunset over Brooklyn bridge in rows of flattened rock seats. It’s really a nice cozy place except for the NYC subways generating 90 decibels noise from above every 3 mins

This is another one of my favorite parks! We haven't been here in a long time and I was so glad we stopped there it's such a great playground for kids of all ages they've got the toddler and smaller kids section and then of course the bigger playground for the bigger kids. There's so much to do they have a volleyball net setup they have places to explore it's definitely somewhere to bring the family and spent quite a few hours!

Unrealistically, gorgeous! It's more beautiful at night due to all the lights from the skyscrapers. You can actually see the Statue of Liberty from here, at night it's not clear. If you want a clear shot, go for the morning. The park is very nice to get breathtaking views of New York City skyline and the Brooklyn Bridge. The walking trail is very roomy and full of nature's scenery. This park is along the water, which allows you to use the Ferries to get around NY. There are plenty of restaurants near water to enjoy the lower Manhattan skyline. It's definitely a must visit for all tourists around the world.

Well it's not just about the view, it's about an amazing urban park with so many facilities it makes you wanna move there. This is how a park should be and this is how city life should be. All the happy faces there will testify...

Nice place to sit outside, eat your lunch or just enjoy the fresh air. The farmers market is now out there, so you can purchase or just browse through the fruits, veggies, baked goods & other items they have for sale.

First time visiting from NC this beautiful park with a spectacular view of NYC skyscrapers. It’s well maintained and has restrooms. It’s a great place to take a walk and enjoy the outdoors.

I love coming here. It was really clean and there were so many little pockets of the park to just sit and take in the view. My favorite park when I want to go on a nature walk.

This is a really huge park with tons of options for the family... Nature, lake view, and picnic area. Kids can feel free to play safety. I also like the big parking lot!

This was an awesome park to visit. It has picnic tables, single and double grills, and a lot of grassy areas. Just steps from free parking. Must stop grilling by 9pm. As with any outdoor space, it has plenty of bugs, so bring bug spray!!

Educational Center staff are awesome! Very helpful and I hope more kids get to experience reading time and being exposed to the materials in this center. Perfect safe place for kids this summer and a playground just a few minutes away.

One of the most beautiful parks I’ve been to! Very well maintained, you can take the ferry from the harbor when you arrive at the park to see lady liberty. You also get to see the infamous skyline view also from the park entrance. The park itself is so beautiful to walk around 💚

A very cool space is always occupied by some activity. Recently there was a free photography exhibition. The place also celebrated the 140 years of the Brooklyn bridge. Only when you stand below the bride you realize the scale of the construction for an one and half century old bridge.

It's a beautiful spot. Dog friendly with great views. Whether you are visiting the city or live here. Check out this place. I got there by the ferry (also dog friendly and free for pets). Its a lovely picnic spot.

Cadman Plaza is an exciting location based on the closeness to iconic Brooklyn places although it is under construction I am confident that it will look better than ever!

Took the Mrs there for Mother's Day and what a nice place to spend a few hours with the family and eat ice cream. They got on the carousel and then we just spent the rest of the day looking at Manhattan and sitting on the grass. The atmosphere was pleasant and the area was very clean. I plan to go back at night and see my beautiful city lit up.

It’s a good park for a nice walk or to ride a bike but you can’t really get close to the lake and they close parts of the park early. There’s also a soccer field nearby and sometimes you can get a peak at the Manhattan skyline from the trees.

I live near that park. It's a dream to go through its green areas full of life every afternoon, it is. a good time to visit in spring summer ! connecting with nature is the best

This is such an iconic vision of Brooklyn with breathtaking views of the manhattan skyline, and the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges. We do a lot of wedding portraits and engagement session photos in this area for very obvious reasons, and at sunset the views are the most romantic views in the city. ig @thewillinghamsphotography

Such a great view of the Brooklyn Bridge. It's a shame crime is so high, the pollution and graffiti are back but this is what the previous administration achieved and what the current administration maintains.

Although there are lots of parks, especially for dogs, it isn't safe. Plenty of picnic areas and places to go for free but just be on guard. It's a shame it is so downtrodden but it is what it is for now.

Nice open park with lots of stairs. The park is near the highway & separated into three sections.
Great place for nature and wildlife.
A great place for jogging, walking, running, bicycle riding, etc.
There's various amenities; such as tennis courts, basketball, baseball, and handball courts, a community garden, some exercise grounds, and a barbecue/picnic area by the parking space.

Nice and large park surrounded by many NY authority buildings. I was surprised they could build such a park within Brooklyn. I attended Walk to End ALZ here and enjoyed walking with my folks.

Cool spot to enjoy Manhattan Skyline along with iconic The Brooklyn bridge. Great time to visit during sunset. You’ll find the sitting spot in the shore area.

Beautiful dangerous park. Nice and clean except for the criminals trying to rob people.. The park is clean. People come here for walking, barbecuing, bird watching. Lots of shade. Watch your back and don't go here. Most people just play ball and play in the kids area which is great. The area is pretty bad and very close to other dangerous areas. Warning you are not safe here. Enter at your own risk. Used to be 5 stars until I feared for my safety several times.

I visit here all the time over the years of living in New York, it's a great park for hanging out with your friends, family or you're other half. Relaxing in the summer months for cooling off and an excellent place to see the city skylines. Dumbo is close by as well.

It's a park. It has grass and trees. Needs better up keep though, could be much nicer than it is. It's the new weed smoking spot for a lot of people

There are 2 different playgrounds and several pavilions toy can rent and just have a cookout. There are a couple walking trails to keep you going and a little creek you can stare at and relax. We go here very frequently.

This park is very nice super open space. You and your family can come here in enjoy the scenary and enjoy the sights. Very nice place to run around play tag or tin with your dog.... Enjoy

Very peaceful, beautiful park. But what would really make me yawp barbarously would be if there were a statue of the poet himself

I like this place. It's by some busy roads in Brooklyn but has a lot of trees and space to walk around. It's also a nice resting spot if you finished walking the Brooklyn Bridge or to gather your wits before you cross back in to Manhattan.

I also like the monument in place to the families of WW2, those who died and those who mourned.

It isn't easy to park here but has close access to the A train.

Nice, small, quiet park to sit. Park has benches, a few tables w/chairs (not very comfortable) and a sprinkler for kids in the summer. There is another, larger park across the street that's beautiful too, but busier in warmer months.

In Walt Whitman Park you will see people running or walking their dog, and nannies with toddlers. Park is next to Office of Emergency Mgmt. and the Federal Courthouse.

Huge memorial wall and magnificent statues. Plenty of seating throughout the park. Nice views and sight lines from all corners.
