Some employees lack proper customer service etiquette. The middle aged asian lady who assisted me today showed an unnecessary attitude & irritating reaction to my simple query. This behavior is unexpected from a retailer like Shoppers

Every time I come to Canada Post, they answer me very rudely…. I have never met such rude staff as in this place. Today there was a woman who answered my requests very rudely. Every time I go there, I leave with a very unpleasant feeling and resentment. I hope you can better control this point. Because people do not deserve such an attitude towards themselves. Thus, your sales will get worse and worse each time…

Tried to get a senior discount today since I was purchasing diapers and other items for my elderly mother who is disabled. They would'nt give it to me unless I showed ID with my age. After showing her my id she wanted be to get in line where you pay by cash but i was paying by debit at the self checkout section. I ended up just buying the stuff without the discount and walked out. I had the same issue at the Thorncliffe park location. I wont even ask for the discount any more because I get harassed by the cashiers for asking at both these locations. None of them have any manners at all !!!!!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Least attentive pharmacy staff I've ever encountered. Rude, slow, and just flat out less than amicable. Would recommend not going to this location and visiting ANY other shoppers for prescriptions.

Does this Shoppers actually think that by posting “thank you for bringing this to our attention” they are delivering actual customer service? It’s shameful and plain disgusting. I’ve been reviewing these post for the past year and NOTHING changes. They are absolutely USELESS. My 78 year old mother waited for hours to have her pills delivered, while in desperate pain, and they never showed. NEVER SHOWED. We tried to call and the phone system is s$&@. No one ever answers. They simply don’t care about patients. Nobody, any age. I live in Uxbridge and the Shoppers there is equally as bad. This is another example of Galen Weston ripping off customers to make his billions of $$… and the pharmacists managing these operations should be jailed- it’s criminal and they too should be held accountable. It’s inexcusable to leave a 78 year old in so much pain because you can’t be bothered to do your job. I’ll be looking into a complaint to the Ontario Pharmacists Association. I pray you are treated as badly in your senior years- what goes around comes around. Remember that - when you are almost 80, crying out in pain… and your pharmacy gives you the middle finger.
I had my childhood pet pass away this week, so I went to get some photos of him printed out. The photos come out with a border, and I kindly asked for the worker to cut it off as is the usual case. After I paid and left I took them out to see not one photo was cut properly. While he was cutting them he was sure having fun on the job with the other employees, which I guess good for him. If you don’t know how to do something properly just don’t do it. It may have meant nothing to him but it really stung for me.

***GIFTCARD SCAM WARNING!!!***

I purchased an amazon giftcard off the shelf from this store. After opening the card and attempting to add it to my account online, I received an alert that the card had already been redeemed by someone else! After confirming that the card had not been accidentally redeemed on my account, I went back to this store.

The card must have been tampered with, and when I brought this up the staff mentioned that they have heard of this happening at the store before. They said there was NOTHING I could do except call their help line. The help line did nothing useful and simply directed me to Amazon. At this point, I was directed to take it up with the bank to report it.

I am disappointed by how easy it was for scammers to use Shoppers Drug Mart to steal! DO NOT buy giftcards from this store!

I purchased 45mm x 35mm passport photos here. Note that you can pay in-store, despite how the website is laid out. It's not cheap for a few photos, but it's the best price that I was able to find. Friendly and professional staff. The procedure was simple.

It's not much skin off my nose, but I received four copies of the photo instead of six, which I was told I would be getting. Also, they don't have 45mm x 45mm size.

I say go for it.
The pharmacy team are nice and kind people. Thank you for helping me sort out my mom's prescription

I've been to many shoppers pharmacy, this is the worst...

On my first visit, the pharmacist doesn't know how to add my insurance - I showed her the same insurance card I show to every pharmacy which nobody had issue with applying the insurance. It took the girl 20 mins or so to try everything after which she told me to come back after weekend so that she can call my insurance company to figure out. After I asked for my prescription back so that I could go to another pharmacy, she offered to call another shoppers I've been to, and the staff there finally taught her how to add insurance properly....

On my second visit, I arrived at 8 pm and I was told they will try their best to prepare my prescription by end of night. I only received text message that prescription was ready until 8 pm the next day. Fine. Then I went and picked up and went back home, then realized only 2 of my prescription were filled....Come on, there are 2 pieces of paper with 3 prescriptions. How can I trust a pharmacy if the staff's attention to detail is at this level...? You are working in a life-matering industry, and that's the level of work quality you are holding to?

With all of these experience with this place, I sincerely suggest the management team to enhance the training of your team members. I've honestly never had similar experience with other pharmacy or other shoppers stores.

Adding a fresh new terrible experience from today. I was shopping for boxing week deals, somehow I feel the security guy have been following me and watching me for a long time while I was browsing for the handcream. And he seemed to follow me till the cashier.....Is it because i am shopping for too long, or I am simply an Asian girl? It's very insulting. I had no idea before today that I look like a thief. I earn +$150k per year, home owner, drive luxury car. I thought I was the definition of middle class, until today. I need a new Shoppers in this area, this one really sucks.

The non-pharmacy staff, especially the cashiers, have been consistently top notch. The pharmacy experience has been a hit and miss. Sadly, there has been one miss too many to my liking. The straw that broke the camels back happened a few months ago. A very long wait to pick up my prescription even though there was only one person ahead of me and four (4) people, including the franchisee associate, working in the pharmacy area. Yet, not a single grunt to acknowledge my presence or otherwise afford a minimum courtesy for the long wait.
That's when it finally dawned on me: "I have other options, there are other places selling exactly the same prescription medications, often at a lower dispensing fee and lower cost." Ever since this epiphany, I have been filling my prescriptions at the nearby Peanut Plaza IDA. Same meds, more professional staff, excellent customer service, lower dispensing fees. Sure I can't buy a fancy lipstick while I am waiting for my drugs, but that's not an issue for me.
Ordered prints for next day pick up. 5 days later the order was still pending. I called the customer support number on my receipt for an update and they said they couldn’t provide an estimated time my prints would be ready, even though they were already 4 days late. I asked to cancel the order and be refunded and they said they could not refund me because I was “past the cancellation deadline”. There has still been no update, my prints are still not ready and I am still unable to cancel the order. Staples sounds like a better option for printing next time.

Excellent service! I wanted to return a cosmetic and the staff saw I was looking for support and asked me what I needed, even before she went up to the cash. It was a Revlon lipstick and she chatted with me a bit about cosmetics too! Very friendly and smooth service! Left here with a very good impression and speedy service!
Staff was completely oblivious. I didn’t receive any email for pickup… I stood at the register for a good 5-6mins before any of the associates even acknowledged me. They were chatting in Hindi, which I understand, essentially talking about nonsense, while ignoring me, a customer. Will not be placing my order at this specific location again.
Terrible service. Ordered prints for next day pick up, several days later shows as delayed. Call in because wanted to give as a Christmas present, customer service couldn’t get ahold of the store so they restarted my order. After Christmas the repeat order shows as delayed. Call in, finally get customer service, they restart the order again. Finally a month later I call in again, they tell me the store has a problem with the machine, it’s been a problem for a while, not sure when it will be repaired, they can cancel it and I’ll get a refund. Brutal. The whole time I’m getting emails from Walmart to order more prints at this same store to have them ready for next day pickup?!?! They never updated me on the order, or provided timelines, or offered alternatives (I asked them to just have it printed at another location, I’d drive further to pick it up. They said they can’t do that, I’d have to cancel the order and put in a new order for pick up at another location. This was the corporate customer service, they really can’t call another store and facilitate or problem solve? Zero help, it’s over a month later and I have nothing to show for it, the only thing they were able to do is charge my credit card. So they can take your money but won’t provide the service you paid for or help you actually get what you ordered. What a train wreck. Oh and the supervisor was always “not available right now”, I even left my contact info asking to have the supervisor call me, of course, never heard from them. I hope corporate is aware of what terrible service this location and customer service are providing.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Worst customer service of all time. Avoid it at all costs. They cancelled my order of printed photos before Chtistmas and didn't even notify me, or give me a refund. They still haven't delievered the photos or provided a refund when I paid for next-day print in mid-December. DO NOT USE THEM.
Ordered prints online for pick up next day in store. There was a warning that this location is experiencing delays and it could be up to 72 hours to be ready, which I'm fine with. A week later and no update to the order - tried calling into the photo centre multiple times and no answer. Try walmart online chat to contact someone - they say only option is to call in. I call in and I'm hold for over an hour - tried twice and had to give up. Finally get a chance to go into Walmart and see what is going on and the employee there tells me they have issues with the 8x10 printer and so that is delaying orders - even though there is only 1 8x10 on my order, rest are a variety of sizes. I say just give me the other prints then - they try to look for my order and can't find it in the system. They say there has been glitches with the system. While waiting 3 other people came in looking to pick up overdue orders and they were told the same thing as me. Prints were prepaid online, so I ask for a refund in store and they say they can't do it, I have to call in (to the line I haven't been able to get through yet). Horrible service all around (in store and with Walmart online/phone), never buying prints from them again.

Only use the postal outlet because of convenience, employees staffing the service desk have always been knowledgeable to assist. I only use independent pharmacy near by not Shoppers which I refuse to shop at as an ex employee.

I called tonight around 7:24PM, had a really bad experience with the the lady who picked up the phone.
I called to refill my Dad's prescription, she told me that I used up my refill and she need to fax the doctor to get the new prescription. I was asking about how much refill I can get, can I have 2 months refill then? All of a sudden, she raised up her voice and said I told you I will fax the doctor. Well, I just need a little bit clarification if I can get the 2 months refill at the same time, didn't mean to take so much time of her.
I have been a royal customer to this location for many years, but this is the worst experience ever and I really hope Shoppers Drug Mart Pharmacy can pay attention to the customer service and have a good training to their employees. I hope no one will ever be treated in this way.

Shoppers drug mart at Bridlewood mall is the worst. They made me wait 3 hours after my surgery to get me medicines. They were explaining that they need to call doctor. I need medicine after 30 mins so I didnot have pain but they made me wait 3 hours and after 3 hours, I called my doctor and when doctor arrived, pharmacist there said their system is not working. Worst shoppers drug mart, worst services and Pharmacists were showing attitude to other patients as well. Kind request, please Don't go there.

The store is fine the checkouts are a nightmare!! CAN YOU GET SELF CHECKOUTS AT THIS LOCATION I CAN CHECK MYSELF OUT FASTER!!!!!!!! Oh and don't get me started on the pharmacy! I HATE coming here for my grandfather's prescriptions!!

Shoppers Drug Mart, located at 747 Don Mills Road, is a convenient and well-stocked pharmacy that offers a wide range of healthcare and beauty products. I recently visited the store and was impressed with the selection of items, the cleanliness of the store, and the helpfulness of the staff.

As soon as I walked into the store, I was greeted by a friendly staff member who offered to assist me with anything I needed. The store was well-organized, making it easy to navigate and find what I was looking for. The pharmacy section was especially impressive, with a large selection of prescription medications, over-the-counter remedies, and vitamins and supplements.

In addition to the pharmacy section, Shoppers Drug Mart also has a well-stocked beauty department. There were plenty of products to choose from, including skincare, makeup, and haircare products from well-known brands. The prices were reasonable, and I appreciated the fact that there were always staff members on hand to answer questions and provide recommendations.

One thing that stood out to me was the store's commitment to safety. There were signs throughout the store reminding customers to wear masks, and hand sanitizer stations were available at the entrance and throughout the store. I also noticed that the staff members were diligent about wiping down surfaces and keeping the store clean.

Overall, I had a positive experience at Shoppers Drug Mart on Don Mills Road. The store was well-stocked, organized, and clean, and the staff members were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for a convenient and reliable pharmacy or beauty store.

2024. The worst photo print quality I've ever and never had. The photo was taken on a sunny afternoon at 64MP pixels, but prints out like it was taken with a flash at midnight. While it emphasizes photos will last long, but I throw it right away.

Very very slow at filling prescriptions. Even a simple refill takes more than 30 minutes!

Cons:

• This is my first time visiting this branch, and I was impressed by its convenient location near Don Mills Road and a TTC bus stop, making it easy to access by public transportation.

The pharmacy staff are extremely rude. Absolutely horrible attitude. They were really annoyed when I gave them my insurance card at the time of purchase instead of "registering before". I was told on the phone by another staff to bring my insurance card at the time of my purchase. However, I was met with passive-aggressiveness and they made it seem like giving them my insurance card at the time of my purchase was an inconvenience, even though it's a part of their job. A pharmacy is not just a place of business, it is health care. The least you can do is have a positive attitude, have patience, and be nicer to the people you serve.
