Isaac Sarfo in the pharmacy department was amazing: We had to visit the pharmacy to get a prescription late at night. There was a mix up and he helped resolve all the issues to get the medication! My wife was very ill, Isaac checked in on her periodically and expedited the process! A big thank you to Isaac! CVS is lucky to have him.

Went to find a specific hair product, that OF COURSE, HAD to be locked inside the glass cabinet. The exact product that I was searching for wasn't stocked, even though other products of that brand were. I ended up buying a few items that I needed and waited in a line that was over twenty five minutes long. While waiting, a rude customer was yelling at the cashier about something, further delaying the check out process for everyone. Doesn't that seem to happen a lot while waiting to pay for merchandise? I finally got to a cashier that was pleasant, efficient, friendly and helpful. I don't remember her name, but she made my checkout a nice experience and we both were able to put smiles on each other's faces.

This used to be my fave CVS location in the whole city. They now have so many things locked up with no employees around to help you. Socks? Locked up. I waited 20 minutes. Ice cream????? Locked up!!!! Waited another 20 minutes. Meanwhile customer service alerts are going off all over the store because customers are being ignored in other aisles. This system is clearly not working and I’m wondering if the loss prevention measures they’re taking are even worth it with how much business they must lose with people not wanting to wait 20 minutes everytime they want to buy something

I just wanted to share my delightful experience while picking up my medicine at this pharmacy. Not only was my experience exceptionally great, the customer service I received from Taleeya was even more impressive. It’s important for establishments , especially in the health/ medical industry to exhibit such professionalism and care. And to top it off with a warm and caring greeting and even greater smile, Taleeya gets it. Thank you to the staff here at CVS and especially to her. Her genuine kindness is extremely appreciated. I am looking forward to continue my business at this pharmacy.

I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with the service I received at the CVS Pharmacy on 59 Washington Street in Hoboken, NJ. Despite having my prescription on hand, the staff refused to refill it due to the neighborhood I live in, which is only 3 miles away. This is unacceptable discrimination and a clear violation of patient rights. As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect and dignity, regardless of where I live. I will be taking my business elsewhere and encouraging others to do the same until this issue is addressed."

Two women up stares of this CVS should quite if they don't like there job. They both looked like they didn't want to help. I shown them a box of couches that was opened but I wanted them to check if there was anything missing. And one of the ladies called the other one over and she said I can check. How am I suppose to know what to check what's missing. Not even offer a discount on a opened box. Do better

They are unprofessional, but that isn’t very surprising. Good luck getting pass the dope fiends that loiter in front of the premises. Need a prescription and need to speak to someone? That won’t happen. Why? Because none of them actually want to do their job. Again, NOT SURPRISING. I sat with my doctor while she was on hold for 45 minutes to make sure my prescription was in. We never spoke with someone. Piece of advice, it’s EXACTLY what you would expect, and you’re better off going to a pharmacy with a different set of DNA.

THIS PLACE IS A MESS I PLACED AN ORDER AND TODAY WHILE I WAS AT WORK AT 951 AM GOT A EMAIL SAYING I PICKED UP MY ORDER LIKE REALLY. STAFF PROBABLY TOOK MY STUFF. DONT GO HERE MAD GHETTO AND UNPROFESSIONAL. I CALLED THERE AFTER I GOT THE EMAIL SOMEONE ANSWERED BLEW IN THE PHONE AND HUNG UP. EVEN CUSTOMER RELATIONS CALLED AND NOTHING WAS DONE IN THE STORE. THEY HAD TO REFUND MY ORDER OVER THE PHONE. HOPE WHO EVER TOOK IT CHOKES ON IT.

The pharmacist in consulting asked me what I came to pick up, I said birth control and began spelling out the first few letters of the type I get because I was unsure how it showed in the system and he rudely said “we don’t need to get into a spelling contest. I am a pharmacist and I know what that is”…. A simple “I think I got it” would’ve been enough. If you don’t like your job Mr pharmacist…pls find another. Your attitude is not appreciated and the community deserves better.

This pharmacy is very difficult to get on the phone even for medical professionals. They are not diligent about follow up. Wait times in the line can be 30 minutes or longer during peak hours. Notifications of medications being ready are sent only rarely. I assume notifications are automated, so such inconsistencies are a mystery. This place is disorganized and under staffed.

Lack of professionalism. They are helpful, but a little bias to certain customer’s, who are honestly coming into the store to buy products. I can understand they have shop lifters but not everyone that comes in looking to do something stupid. I wish I can walk in CVS and feel comfortable shopping without feeling afraid. That’s a bad feeling. Especially, when you are a hardworking woman who has to shop in these neighborhood stores.
They have police officers, security cameras, security officers. Those individuals that steal make it horrible for the people that are law bidding citizens. I wish the staff members were a little more friendlier and helpful. They need to close it down or train more professionals to work there that’s not rude to the customers.

Horrible experience with the pharmacy tech who was checking me out in the pharmacy. She was visibly upset with me for even being there. Huffed when I walked up to the counter. Scolded me for not speaking loud enough, even though I was speaking at a much louder tone. Felt very disrespected and, like I was a bother to her. Definitely an awkward experience when you’re just trying to pick up your children’s medicine.

I've had multiple frustrating experiences with CVS due to their lack of updated opening hours. It's incredibly frustrating when you plan a trip to the store based on the listed hours, only to arrive and find that they're closed or have different hours. This inconsistency has inconvenienced me and many others multiple times. Their customer service is not any better as well. CVS should prioritize updating their opening hours and train their employees to provide a better customer experience.

I've been going to this CVS for years and usually have a decent experience. This time was awful.
The employee (tall, dark skin middle aged man with braids) by the name of either "Shawn" or "Alan" I believe was extremely rude and unpleasant. My came to the counter, said hello and mentioned I wanted to do 2 separate purchases so that I could use my 2 different coupons. He said nothing and just looked at me and looked around. We continued my first purchase and he rang up a bag fee.
I said to him "Is that a bag fee for the almonds?" He just looked at me. I asked him "are you giving me a bag or something" and he said "yeah" I then told him that "I don't need a bag" and he literally does not respect be and just keeps looking at me and around as if I'm not speaking.
As I wait for him to remove the bag fee, he continues the check out and I repeat myself "I don't need a bag sir" and he finally speaks back with some volume and in a nasty tone says "I heard you" and I respond "well youre not saying anything, you're just looking at me" he never takes the fee off and just processed the charge and gave me the 5 cents back. Says nothing.
THEN the second ring up I give my I give my purchase to him and say I'd like to use my 30% coupon. Apparently it expired? Instead of telling me this, after putting in my number, he just turns his screen to me without a word to show me CVS' POS system and how it tracks coupons. I've never seen this screen and it appears to list my coupons. I asked him "what does this mean? I can barely see it" and he barely responds and I check and noticed it expired. Instead of opening his mouth to say he doesn't see anything, he turns his monitor. This employee is disgustingly rude. I think he usually works security, so maybe he has no customer service skills. I spend a lot of money at CVS and that really turned me off.
I hope to get a response.

Very professional and respectful 🙏 employees. I was doing a DoorDash Shop and Pay delivery(11/05/2023 11pm), and the staff was so helpful and knowledgeable of the merchandise. I recommend 👌 for anyone to shop here at this store thank you so much.

I had 2 days of very bad experiences at this CVS. I had an appointment for a flu shot on Friday night. After waiting almost an hour, I was told there was a problem with my insurance. The already had my insurance information from previous appointments, but this night I was told the computer was rejecting my insurance.
They apologized and said they would make me an "open" appointment for Saturday. I asked what time that would be and they said that open meant i could come anytime and they would give me they shot. Saturday morning I was picking up a prescription at my usual CVS and I asked them to check if they had a valid insurance card for me, one that would cover my flu shot. I was told they had my card on file and yes it did cover a flu shot. A couple of hours later I went back to the original CVS and told them i had an appointment. They said I was not in the computer. And when did I make the appointment. Before I could completely explain I was rudely cut off by the intake person.
He then yelled the nurse "do we have any time to take a person without an appointment." The nurse started to give him a long explanation as to why they couldn't. I decided to leave. I will never go back to a CVS.

I just reported 2 workers at this place because they lost my Controlled Substance Paper Prescription From My Doctor .. I Came In & I Gave Them My Paper Prescription & They Said Its Too Early For A Refill But I Got 3 More Days To Fill It & Come Back When That 3 days is up. Before I Left I Told The Female Worker Please Do Not Lose My Paper Prescription & She Said She Won’t & Promised .. When I Came Back Again Once The 3 Days Was Up To Fill It Because I Am A Patient That Have A Chronic Pain Medical Condition Which Is Not To Be Played With At ALL!!! .. TELL ME WHY WHEN THEY START TO LOOK FOR IT ABOUT A HOUR OR 2 THEY ARE GOING TO TELL ME THEY CANT FIND MY PRESCRIPTION & THEY PROLLY LOST IT …… Once I Heard That I Went Almost Physco on them Because They Pissed Me Off I LITERALLY JUST HAD SURGERY TO .. Then some other worker came out & said can I have a little more time to find it & they said they will call me once they find it .. I don’t know whats going on in this pharmacy but i hurd they stay losing people prescription’s especially when it comes to Opioids .. one of my friend said she saw one lady in the back put someone else paper prescription who got her mother last name and she stole it & went to another pharmacy to fill it & the medicine was a conteolled substance & its called Morphine pills .. days later she had got fired & arrested !! Do not use this pharmacy people they will either lose your prescription or steal it… i hurd it happened to like 23 people this year.. i will be calling the DEA ON THESE PEOPLE

Do not use this pharmacy. Any prescription sent from your doctor will be ignored. Prescription refill requests will be ignored. Prescriptions or refill requests filed through the web site, your insurance company, or the phone will be ignored.
Any and all prescriptions will says "processing" indefinitely. You must go to the store, wait in line for at least 30 minutes (if they aren't busy and no one else is there).
Then you can tell the cashier that you are picking up prescriptions. The cashier will inform you that your prescriptions are not ready for pickup and you must wait in another line to tell the pharmacist to fill your prescription.
Then you will need to wait 30-60 mins for the pharmacist to fill your prescription, followed by another wait in the cashier's line.
I'm ashamed to say I suffered through this for the past 2 years before deciding enough is enough. This review accurately reflects my experience at this store 24 times in 2 years.

Terrible customer service in the pharmacy. You can never get someone from the pharmacy on the phone. Wait time for prescriptions is always hours more that promised.

This convenience store is more than happy to take your money so long as you know exactly what you want and know where to go. The moment you ask a question if the store has something or have a question about what the store offers, you get nothing but responses that seem to annoy a specific older male attendant and feels the need to educate you to read the menu or explore for yourself.
I’m not one to suggest a small business to close and make room for another business but if it was in my control, I’d suggest they call it a day and close up shop.
As a local resident, I 100% suggest going to the convenience store on 52nd and 9th (781 9th Ave) on the northwest corner who has much friendlier owners and associates. Avoid this place at all costs and consider yourself saved from such a putrid experience.

What a cool store that has food options (breakfast, lunch sushi, dinner chicken Tikka masala, and much more) that change from time to time. Super reasonable prices that are warm or cold. Starbucks coffee and other espresso options are available too. Don't worry about waiting in lile to pay for your stuff there is no cashier. They have cameras and technology that lets you walk out and it charges your Amazon account.

While the pharmacy staff is uneven (some are excellent and helpful; other remarkably rude), the "front of the house staff" is unfailingly helpful, kind and warm. I am always greeted and attended to immediately. Excellent customer service. Kudos to the front of the store bunch!

Went here to pick up a package, but needed some items so I went to the deodorant isle. An old, black bald man was stocking products, and as to not interrupt him, i pressed the customer service button for assistance. He looked and asked “was that you?” (Who pressed the button), I responded “I needed…” and before I could finish my sentence he rudely said “IM RIGHT HERE…YOU ONLY PRESS THE BUTTON IF THERES NO ONE HERE…” I responded; “sorry, I thought you were busy and didn’t want to interrupt you….I needed two items; a razor and deodorant.” He unlocked the razor area and I grabbed my item, then headed to the deodorant area. I look up and he was gone…just walked away saying something either to someone or under his breath. Please know I only come here for a convenience, not for the customer service. The young lady that helped me retrieve my package at the register was cool, but homeboy and the deodorant and razor aisle needs a chill pill, and maybe be a pay raise. That might get rid of his grumpy demeanor.

Nice store, very helpful staff. I found it to be clean, pretty well-stocked (even during COVID and supply chain problems). I believe it was one of the managers who helped me in the cosmetics department, and she couldn't have been nicer. The same went for the cashier on staff that day, just so friendly and helpful.

AMAZON GO is a high tech futuristic convenience store powered by Jeff Bezos. Never question why their shares are the highest in the market. Upon arrival, scan your application/palm or insert your cc and shop. Nobody checked our temperatures or followed you to find out if everything was going well. Snacks, water bottles and coffee makers were prominently displayed. The entire store was equipped with sensors and cameras to monitor each movement. No tellers on the way out. Instead, you will get a pending transaction when you leave. Kudos to Amazon for developing an algorithmic activation that could ally even more during this period of autonomy. That will certainly enhance the experience of the overcrowded airport.

Great Deli! My Sandwiches were made in a flash and delicious. Prices were great too! Only thing I would say is the place was just a bit untidy - but it's NYC and it's a deli, so maybe it was the right amount of untidiness. Either way! If you need a breakfast sandwich in the AM or hero, they have you covered. Staff was really sweet too!

That works behind the cash register at the photos at this time at this day told me that my items can be exchanged if it wasn't done correctly I specifically asked her if I could get a refund and she said many times over that i could the total price cost me $47. They have my cell phone number because it was in the computer system that's how they called me. The fact of the matter was that she lied to me and she should be reprimanded or fired because of that she seems to take it personal. She kept saying that my phone number seems not to be inside the system that it doesn't click inside the system. And I know that was a lie because they have it inside the computer the individual that was off today called me using that number8484-466-2821

I've shopped here quite a few times for low cost household items, etc; however, lately, oddly enough these same low cost items seem to jump in price by $2.00 per item by the time I make it to the cash register. No problems at all, as I have disputed the items with my bank, received my a refund for the times and discontinued shopping there. A key giveaway that the owner at register knows he is purposely overcharging at the register despite the price listed o the shelf is his out of the ordinary and sudden nervous drumming on the counter while the charge is processing, after glancing at the items in puzzlement. Next up is the NYC consumer protection and financial consumer departments to file complaints.

This is a convenience store, similar to a 7-11 store. The difference between this store and a regular convenience store is that after you down load an app and put your credit card number in you don't have to stop at the cashier. In fact there are no cashiers. You just get the items you want, put them in a bag and leave.

Very convenient location int the heart of the city. Quick grab and go. I liked that they have all what you need for lunches. Microwave and utensils are at spot. Some items are very cheap.

Excellent selection of craft beers and imports. Many places in area used to have similar inventory but that is no longer the case. Might deserve 5 stars.

Don't expect anything special. Prices are higher than Target's for food, you'd expect them to be lower since their labor and sq ft is substantially less.
The selection of food is about the same as your local Bodega, just a lot more pretentious ( a $7.00 pb&j? Seriously?)

Can't follow instructions and don't deliver when they say. They told me 15-20 minutes for delivery...it ended up taking 40 minutes and I told them to call before coming up because I didn't want them to come up and I made that very clear. They came up anyway while I was out (one door down--I was waiting downstairs for them on purpose) and it caused a huge mess. I had called them back 2 times prior to delivery to make sure they understood the instructions but the delivery guy just did what he wanted to I guess.

Just around the corner in Greenwich Village is an East Indian owned convenience store that has friendly staff and a good selection of the basics plus some.

This cashier will "forget" you just gave him cash, so you better don't buy anything there alone.

My girlfriend asked a cashier to swap the Cliff bar flavour right after it was paid for. The cashier took the new bar and set it aside by mistake, while we replaced the unwanted bar to the shelf. We asked for the bar she held, and the cashier said she had another customer now and needed a moment. We said okay, but there was no other customer. There was another store employee in checkout queue and the cashier wanted to move on to her transaction, deliberately making us wait, refusing to simply give us the bar. (There was no more of this flavour available on the shelf). She finally gave it to us, with a condescending grin in a display of her arrogant miniature power, while other two employees winked and chuckled.
This was a blatant manifestation of unfriendly exasperated attitude towards visitors in the city, all the while my girlfriend showed nothing other than her usual polite British reserve and composure. I recommend the management to have an attitude check of the store employees. Is it hard to find customer friendly team of cheerful and polite people these days? It's a matter of simple professionalism. Or is it too much to expect from the faceless heartless jumbo-retail that kills the neighbourhood spirit in the city?
Shame.

Extremely poor service. I asked where the bathroom was (I really had to go), and the cashier yelled at me for trying to use a bathroom in a "private place." Also they had a garbage can right in front of the entrance.

Over priced and they offer nothing different. $68 for a 24 pack of peroni... That's absurd. Would suggest saving your money and going one block further to the grocery store.
