Great place to get some breakfast. Biscuits are airy and flakey. They are not bricks which is great. Sausage gravy was top notch. Waffles are recommended as well.

Let me start with the service. Sarah could have been the best server I've ever had. She made the experience fantastic. In my opinion, meals can be shared. The cinnamon roll pancakes are huge (2). They are not overly sweet but have enough flavor that you don't need extra syrup. The sausage, bacon, and ham were great. My over medium eggs were a little undercooked, but it is not a deal breaker by any means. Definitely make this a stop on your drive.

This is a good place to sit down and have breakfast. It's a little pricy, but worth it. Everything was clean and all employees seemed well maintained and professional. My food was hot and didn't have that sitting under a heat lamp or in a warmer taste.

My visit to The Big Biscuit was outstanding. The service was remarkably quick—our food arrived within five minutes of ordering. The biscuits were delicious, and the cinnamon roll pancake was a highlight. The staff was attentive, frequently checking in on us, and even the manager made a point to see how we were doing. Overall, it was an amazing dining experience.

Was craving a hearty breakfast, and they delivered! Biscuit and gravy, potatoes, sausage patties and fresh fruit was all great. The best part of my experience though was the server. She was warm, knowledgeable, and delightful. So thankful for this awesome experience. I’ll be back, for sure! ☺️🍽️

Issues with checking in. There was no one before us. We checked in and sat down to wait. Several other people came in and were seated immediately. We went up and asked how come we weren't being seated and there were several tables open. The host said she accidently checked us off but couldn't remember the name. At least we got an explanation. Waited for 20 minutes when there were plenty of open tables. Food was amazing and plentiful.

The food if it wasn’t undercooked it was over cooked they need new cooks and honestly a new name bc this is not an IHOP a run down Waffle House cooks better

I enjoyed breakfast while listening to my favourite 80s song "Hold me Now" by Thompson Twins 😍 The food in the 2nd pic is a breakfast sampler. The total was 22.35$ not bad. I'm pleased. Got a haircut 💈 before breakfast so my day is off to a great start.

This was a great place to stop while traveling through Missouri. We all enjoyed our meals and their Iced Mochas. Our server Mia was so sweet and helpful. We really appreciated her great service!!!

I like waffle house. Great if you want to occasionally wreck your diet with some decent comfort breakfast food, but i like it. Only issue is, there is a young waitress here who always seems to be sick or something. She stands around doubled over and doesn't do much. Everyone else works pretty consistently. If this girl is always ill, why not just let her go. She's not doing anything anyway. I've been here 4 times in the last month and a half and it's always the same.

My wife and I have eaten at the St Joseph IHOP several times during the past 4 months. We have always had good, cheerful service and good, warm food. The dining area has always been clean. We especially enjoy "Bill" as our Server. I had heard of past shortcomings from friends, but we have not personally seen anything but friendly workers serving IHOP food.

Nothing but amazing, portions that would make anyone worried about not being able to finish. We went normal on the ordering and left with a good amount of food. All around amazing find.

The cook was awesome! My waitress was terrible! Walked in and was told the grill was being cleaned...so we waited. We then got our food pretty quickly & it was cooked to perfection! The only problem was... we got no waffles! Over 10 minutes later I went to the counter & said something ( only one other table was being seated) 5 minutes later... finally got a waffle! My waffle, on the other hand, never made it to the table! I finally walked to the counter & my waffle was handed to me! Our waitress barely paid attention to our table & it was a disaster!

The special said 'tenderloin $8.99' so I ordered the tenderloin, med rare with waffle fries. The server brings out a fried pork sandwich. It's pressed pork parts deep fat fried. So I'm from the dakotas, I thought tenderloin meant a steak. My bad. Super disappointing.

Cracker Barrels are always a fun place to eat. Try and guess what wall antiques were once used for. Great gift shop. The plates of food are always a lot and of course the cooked apples are a nice treat. Go stand by the large fireplace to get warm or take a family picture for a good memory of your visit.

As always, cracker barrel is our favorite. We go there two or three or four times during every trip we go on. Food is good. Price is great. Nice selection on the menu to waitresses or waiters are good. Easy to talk to. Never have a problem. Yeah I've been going there for over 25 years

I hate leaving bad reviews as I work in customer service as well and always try to understand that we are all human and things happen…. But this was one of the absolute worst experiences at a restaurant I have ever had.
We had a larger group of 9 but It still took 20 minutes for someone to come to our table for a drink order and when we did get the drinks the 2 strawberry lemonades were nothing but water with a little strawberry syrup
In the bottom. It was disgusting.
We ordered our food as well and was and it took 40 minutes for it to come out which I am just chalking up to it is was nine dishes and it is what it is. But in that time we had the hardest time flagging someone down for drink refills. Some of the orders were wrong and the did at least fix the one that was completely a different dish than what was ordered.
This was all just horrible service but what made me the most upset was that in the middle of finally eating after waiting over an hour our server was bringing the checks and asking for payment. We waited for food and service and we couldn’t even get half way through the meal before we were being pushed for payment.
I would have been more understanding had they been busy but there were what appeared to be 4 servers and maybe 8 other tables other than ours.This use to be a nice place with good food and service, but after this experience I will never come back.

You can never go wrong with Waffle House, from the moment you walk in do you know this isn’t like any other restaurant. Everything is fresh and cooked to order the staff is super friendly and helpful, you feel waited on hand and foot. I ended up getting eggs grits sausage and waffles and it came exactly how I ordered it the grits are always delicious perfect sunny side up eggs delicious raisin toast

Interesting variations on "traditional" breakfast. Menu isn't huge, but does offer a good regional variety.

As vegetarians, our choices were a little limited as most entrees include meat in the price. We tried the spanish omelettes. These come with breakfast potatoes (or hash browns or fresh fruit) and english muffin (or toast or biscuit).

Portions are generous. The spanish omelette was packed with tasty ingredients. Chunky salsa on top. Hash browns were a little too greasy for my taste; I'll try breakfast potatoes next time. Wheat toast was big slices, perfectly toasted. And a huge carafe of coffee was provided.

Fantastic customer service from Andi ~ 10 stars! Everyone on staff was friendly and welcoming.

The food was very good! The staff was friendly and we really appreciated the carafes of beverages. That was a nice touch. Towards the middle of our meal they seated a large party right next to us in a rather small space. We rushed to finish our meal. It's never easy to relax and enjoy food with loud groups right next to you. I wish they would have been placed in the larger section of the restaurant. As it was, the larger side was relatively empty and the small side room we were seated in was packed. Maybe they had a good reason, but it was uncomfortable for our small family.

Once you figure out how to enter the establishment (the driveway for the hotel, NOT Cracker Barrel OR the fenced in dead end), what a pleasure! The menu floored me with the breakfast choices (4 different types of Eggs Benedict). I chose the Salmon Benedict and it was fabulous. The server was excellent and most of the employees have been there 14 years since it began. The owner is in the back cooking and the love shows up in the food. As a New Yorker, living in the Midwest has proved a culinary challenge. Fortunately, I have found a few gems and this place tops my list.... I am... Le Fan

The past few times here have been a disaster with the service. Our server gave us a glass full of lukewarm water, no ice, and strawberries at the bottom when we asked for strawberry lemonades. Another server came shortly after and offered to get us the correct drinks, which she did, but that strawberry water was a kick in the gut first thing. The same server also denied having turkey bacon and customizable omelets, and I know IHOP serves those. This server seemed new and did not ask anyone about it, despite me assuring them that it's something we've ordered often. I also ordered a house salad as a side - I'll leave the picture of it. It was a very unpleasant experience, and to top it off, they very uncomfortably joked about needing $100 as a tip.

Another time, I went out with friends and our server was very friendly, but seemed very new, as well. They took our drink orders, did not write any of it down, and came back 5 minutes later to ask what our orders were again. We were a party of 5. This server also passed items to us by reaching directly across one of my friend's faces. Literally inches away from their nose. Multiple items... I understand being new, but that is very unprofessional and very uncomfortable.

Unfortunately the food isn't quite good enough - to me, at least - for me to want to come back to this environment. We've given it multiple tries, but the service doesn't seem to improve.

The only redeeming thing for me are the drinks - I love the strawberry lemonade and the new splashers, when they are actually made correctly!

Ordered to-go. Should've checked before leaving but get home and this is what my order looks like. Hash browns aren't even cooked, and pancakes dont even look remotely like how the cinn-a-stack pancakes should look. Claiming they're under new management... clearly isn't anything to brag about. Horribly disappointed and would not eat here again.

Wonderful little Waffle House. The cook Will made my food as I have the order to my server, and it came out hot and fast I always appreciate that. Harley was my server this evening, she is a talkative one but very cheerful, side affect of being young but at least she can keep a smile and keep you engaged. Aspen the other server for the evening was also quite cheerful. I will definitely stop the semi at the Casey's across the street and make the walk again. If you have a hankering for a WH this is the one. Very clean, very friendly and excellent food!

Ordered the Thursday Special of Turkey and Dressing. It comes with Sweet Potato Casserole, but I don't like sweet potatoes....so got the loaded mashed potatoes. Ordered turnip greens to go with the yummy cornbread (sorry not in picture...ate them right away before I remembered to take it).
Turkey was tender and flavorful. Cranberry sauce awesome. Tasty gravy. The dressing was my keast favorite....needs to be a traditional CORNBREAD Dressing!!! Was kinda gummy.

Bought a beautiful Patriotic dress and the most divine Malted milk balls.

Friendly, bright atmosphere. Staff made you feel part of the family. Extensive breakfast menu. We were seated within 10 minutes.

Exactly what you should expect from a Waffle House. Great food, bottomless coffee (even got a giant cup to go), there's probably syrup still on your menu, and there may or may not be toilet paper in the bathroom 😂
Always a good time

My husband and I have been wanting to go here for the last year! We finally did and it did NOT disappoint :). We love the coziness, the variety of items on the menu and the environment. It's generally an older crowd who are very polite quiet and respectful. The youngest people that came in while we were there were a bit louder and cussed which makes me sad with the population that's on the rise. I love and respect how people can be considerate of others as well as show class and grace.... as for this establishment we will be back and support them.

Visited IHOP for a sit down breakfast after church. Staff upon entry were not smiley or very pleasant but our waitress was really nice and accommodating. Their bathrooms need some work. The food was decent and filling. We've had better but it was fair.

The Waffle House and college football just sounds right. Stopped in for an All-Star Special with a double order of hashbrowns (50 cents extra), city ham and raisin toast. My meal was downright delicious! Our service was awesome and the food came out quick and hot.

Food was good and service was excellent. The atmosphere was very pleasant. Workers were over worked due to under staffing but still nice.

The staff were great. My rating is only on my preference of the food. I've been wanting to eat here for a while, finally fit it in today. The food was served in front of you which was interesting to watch. I enjoyed that. It was done quickly. People kept coming in for sit down meals as well as to go orders. The eggs were almost tasteless to me. The crispy hashbrowns were enjoyable and my favorite part of the meal. If we come back it'll be to try the waffles.

Not suggesting Cracker Barrel is always a 5-star experience, but when they're on, they're on. In my most recent visit, the food was incredible! The Southern Fried Chicken has been a solid everyday addition to the menu. I was always frustrated Cracker Barrel being a Southern restaurant didn't offer fried chicken. Ever since its been on the menu, it's my go-to. Also, the dumplings are a must, where else can you order them? The loaded casserole tots are a nice premium option. The service was excellent and the bread was great. I always enjoy a glass bottle of soda on my way out and a gaze around the country store. On a nice night sit in the rocker for a minute and close your eyes. You just might feel like you are somewhere peaceful. This place is about as good as it gets in St. Joe.

Great food, friendly waitresses, clean and comfy. Only been twice so far but had nothing but good experiences each time. I got the omni omelet, fluffy eggs and tasted great. Wife got the eighteenwheeler, 2 eggs, hash rows, choice of meat, and 2 French toast. Also got a side of biscuits and gravy. Nice big fluffy biscuits with and thick fresh gravy. It was all delicious.

Food was hot fast and correct. Best waiter ever. Middle aged black man. He was on top of it. Loved the strawberry and banana pancakes. My steak tips could have had a bigger portion but the steak Omelette was nice sized and tasty. Again great waiter.

Although the food was delicious and was brought out to us in a timely manner, I took a few points away from "service" because we weren't given any napkins when the food was served and our server took forever to come back and check on us and I had to ask for napkins. Also, when we were about to leave I had asked our server a question about the app (because on the table was a sticker that said if you downloaded the app and registered, you could get a free appetizer that day) she said she didn't know anything about the app. The servers should be made aware of new promotions, even if they are through the app, especially if it is advertised on the table. We eventually got it all squared away, so it was fine. And like I said, the food was delicious. It always is.

Had the catfish dinner with two sides. It tasted fine, just didn't seem as flavorful as I remembered. Always enjoy looking around the store after eating.
