Worst Starbucks location I ever went to, workers are rude and incompetent, there drinks are inconsistent. Last time I was there they served me a coffee with spoiled milk, that’s the last time I’ll go there. Definitely reporting this location.

Great neighborhood spot. Ordered the vegetable omelette which comes with home fries and a light vinaigrette salad.

First time trying Turkish coffee and it's very strong and very good. Let the coffee grounds sink to the bottom and enjoy :)

Staff is very friendly and atmosphere is cozy

Cafe Gossip at 1687 86th St, Brooklyn, NY 11214 is a must-try! I decided to try their free delivery service during my work break and I was blown away by the excellent customer service from the representative on the phone. Their breakfast recommendations were spot on. They kept me informed about the delivery time, and the wait was minimal. The Egg Benedict with avocado was a delightful treat. I'm already looking forward to my next visit for a dine-in experience!

Juicery Kitchen has the best baked tofu sandwich and amazing juices! They go above and beyond for Brooklyn and are extremely polite! Great for vegan, vegetarians and anyone else!
Overpriced for un-tasty food. Service was rude and uninterested. Asked to see a menu inside and I was told that the menu was posted outside. After ordering, was told to wait outside for my sandwich even though there was plenty of space to sit inside and wait. The sandwich maker did bring my sandwich out to me personally, which made the experience just a tad better - overall, I would not return. Sad because I have heard so many great things about Court Street Grocers.

Nice clean place. The food is good, the people are friendly.
I'd have given it 5 stars except for that I was asked 3 times how I want my burger and told them 3 times medium rare, and it was brought out almost well done. For 18 bucks a burger, they should make it right. I didn't say anything or send it back because I don't believe in that, and I gave a full tip, but no 5 star because they should not ask 3 times how an order should be done then do it wrong anyhow. If that were a steak, I'd be writing a different review. But I definitely recomend this place, it is perfect for it's location and I'll be going back again for sure.
We went in the middle of the week at lunch time, so it was no busy at all we were very lucky(every time we walk by it is very busy). First time being here and I was very impressed with all the options of bake goods, products and the extensive menu.
I order the cubano sandwich and it was good all the flavors where there but for me it was a little salty and it had to much sauce, so it is very messy to eat be aware of that.
I think I’ll go back to try other things from the menu.
They have outdoor and indoor seating (big space). All the staff was very friendly!

Whilst wandering Brooklyn streets we saw a huge line for this place on a Saturday but weren’t sure why. After looking it up we decided to give it a go.

It was a rainy Monday so no queue. We shared a plate of Danish pancakes (lemon, ricotta, Parmesan(!), blueberry) with a side of crispy bacon and strawberries. You get three huge pancakes and they come with accompanying maple syrup and some flavoured butters (plain whipped, and what I think were strawberry, cinnamon and orange). The pancakes were so light and fluffy and I really enjoyed the butters. The portion is very large so it fed two people comfortably.

We also ordered tea which came in an enjoyably huge mug.

Service was quick and friendly. They bring you iced water on arrival. The place has a cosy atmosphere with vintage eclectic decor.

Cash only but there is an ATM inside.

Love love this historic diner with so many waffle and pancake options. They come with multiple cream cheese flavors and a syrup. Split a savory entree with a family member/friends sweet option.

Home fries are homemade. Omelettes are shareable size if you can't decide.

Really great diner coffee in cute mismatched mugs with continual refills.

Be prepared for a line but very attentive staff for seating and friendly service.

This place is busy on a rainy weekend.

After 1 pm was a great time to arrive

I want this in MY neighborhood.

Prices are exceptional - and not overpriced.

The clean turkey is delicious. I feel it’s a bit pricey yet it doesn’t stop me from buying this sandwhich every now and then when I’m craving it, because it’s that good to me. I have yet to try the others but I’m excited to!
Delicious food, I often order myself home

My husband says he likes this place better than Clark’s because this place “doesn’t try to be pinky up” 😂 So that’s the vibe - not trying to be nice.

Food is good, service is friendly and homey. Good portions, good prices (slightly cheaper than Clark’s - came out $6 cheaper for breakfast for 2). Will definitely come back.
I ordered online like 1:50pm and set the pick up for 2:30 then when I came the food isn't ready yet I still have to wait for more than 15mins. for them because they are just about to prepare my order which is not cool. I have things to do that's why I ordered online for my family. I will never recommend this place to my friends.

Sandwiches are always good but they spend far far far too much time prioritizing delivery apps compared to in person customers. We ordered and were told it would be a ~25 minute wait. An hour later, after watching 50+ delivery drivers grabs bags stuffed to the brim, we finally got our food.

Court needs to start prioritizing people who make an effort to go the store and not the random people on delivery apps.

Delicious place for a traditional American breakfast!! I had Florentin eggs and harvest pancakes (sweet corn and cranberry)! They have cinnamon butter and strawberry butter to eat with the pancakes! The service is really fast! They just accept cash!
Nestled amidst the vibrant and trendy Brooklyn enclave of Park Slope, with its chic boutiques and eclectic eateries, "Colson Patisserie" stands out as a beacon of authentic French-Belgian charm. As the leaves take on a golden hue in the fall, families and aficionados alike are drawn to this quaint bakery, reminiscent of the enchanting Parisian patisseries of yesteryears.

The neighborhood itself is a delightful blend of contemporary flair and timeless elegance, making it a perfect backdrop amoungs the brownstone homes for this gem of a bakery. As you stroll down the avenue, the allure of "Colson Patisserie" is undeniable. The thought and passion poured into this establishment are evident in every detail, from its inviting ambiance to the meticulously crafted pastries.

During my recent visit, I was transported to the romantic boulevards of 1980s Paris. The pastries, a harmonious blend of tradition and innovation, were the perfect addition to our cherished Saturday brunch ritual. The service was impeccable, making the experience all the more memorable.

In conclusion, if you're in Park Slope and yearn for a slice of authentic French-Belgian delight, "Colson Patisserie" is a must-visit. Whether you're indulging in a leisurely tea-time or grabbing a quick coffee, this bakery promises a touch of Paris in the heart of Brooklyn. Bon appétit! 🥐🍂🗼

We wanted a quick breakfast so we stopped by this restaurant as we parked nearby.

To our surprise, the atmosphere was quite charming and cozy, we were served quickly by a very kind lady. We ordered some breakfast wraps, sandwiches, and one of us ordered the fried calamari. Everything was quite tasty, especially the bacon sandwich I had ordered. The fried calamari, however, was extremely underwhelming. As it was the only item we didn't like, I still would recommend this restaurant!

Let me start by saying i've been here a few times in the past, it's been awhile since I came back. This was not the experience I've had in the past. The food was bad not like I remember, the service sucked we had to literally walk to the counter to ask for our drinks that were sitting there for 20 mins while I server sat on the phone in the corner smiling and chatting. Now i'm not above self service honestly I prefer it but this is not that place it has wait staff. Not to mention the waiter flirted with my girlfriend, extremely unprofessional. Would not recommend.
loved my visit to tom’s restaurant!!! service was great and quick and the food was delicious. the selection of pancakes is to die for, i got the cinnamon roll pancakes and they were delicious. they also give different types of butter. on the pricey side and cash only but worth the atmosphere, serving size and flavors. will be returning!

Ordered a few pastries and was disappointed with the quality we received. The almond croissant tasted stale, and wasn't particularly flaky. Only the filling was buttery, not every layer. The chocolate croissant had a meager amount of chocolate inside. The cherry scone was dry , tough, and lacked sweetness. The raspberry donut was quite good though! Would recommend a few other bakeries a few blocks north of here instead.

Absolutely, love this place. Gossip Cafe is the best kept secret in Brooklyn. The menu is not big, but everything it has is made to perfection. I have ordered the simple mozzarella fries at every diner I've been to and these are superior to any diner within 50 miles.
I have tried the following:
Onion rings, waffles, Philly Cheese Steak, omelet, falafel, chicken quesdilla and guacamole....ALL AMAZING! Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a great meal and friendly staff.

🎵 I drove all night 🎵 ( thank you, Celine Dion) from Iowa to visit my kiddo in the hospital. Their only request was an iced coffee, so I chose this place after searching for savory pastries (for myself 😉). Two kind humans were working. Their selection was beautiful. I bought an assortment, and they made my kiddos coffee without ice, so I could add some later ( I chugged my delicious iced coffee stat #neededit). They directed me to where I could find better toothpaste for them (hospital toothpaste out the window). They even gave me a token for a free drink for my kiddo when they got out of the hospital, as they live in the area. Big big props from this Midwestern girl! Thank you.

I bought two empanadas, one with meat and the other with chicken, honestly the flavor is good but it didn't have meat or chicken, the filling was another type of dough, it didn't taste bad but it wasn't a meat empanada, just pure dough, and it's not what you expect when buying an empanada. I also bought the pandebono and it was tasty, but nothing out of this world.

Consistent, period. Food is always hot, tasty and served quickly. Service is above and beyond, the staff is so friendly and welcoming. My sister didn’t like her lunch entree and they simply and quickly got her a replacement, it was the most seamless meal swap ever. You never saw a ruder and more unprofessional place.

The food is awful and they constantly burn the food! even after I specifically asked them to cook it lightly.

They barely understand any English and the deliver person walked off with my money without offering me change.
When I called to complain about my order, the owner told me not to order from there anymore. He sounded like I was inconveniencing him and had an attitude like “don’t bother me- I’m trying to run my business”. Just horrible!

I will be filing an official complaint with the better business bureau about this.
Run do not walk! This place is the absolute best breakfast spot in the neighborhood. The entire staff is so friendly and generous and we absolutely loved everything we ordered. Classic American fare but done to perfection. Only downside is CASH ONLY but they have an ATM and honestly any ATM fee is worth it for the food and service you’ll receive. I cannot wait to return again and again!

Really cute local cafe. I ordered broccoli cheddar soup, Greek salad with chicken, and iced coffee. Perfect little brunch, everything was quite delicious. Salad was fresh, with good quality ingredients, chicken was soft and flavorful. Service is nice as well.

I’m not sure if they have a new chef or new management but the food is horrible . Two years ago the food was good , since last year the food started to become even worse .. some food is either uncooked , un seasoned , or taste as if it’s stale . Yesterday I decide to try again and bought pasteles , bake chicken and sweet plantains .
Come to find out plantains was uncooked , pasteles was unseasoned and taste as if it was old , and baked chicken was raw .
I would never return to this place again I was so disappointed I wined up ordering from a food truck rite after Smfh waist of money .

we got there at 8pm and the lady was cleaning the floor...even though the closing time is 9pm. but this girl gave us such a bad welcome face that we preferred to leave and not return to this place never again. Lastima llevarnos ese recuerdo de nuestros paisanos.
The family meal is worth the money. The food is delicious and you get all this food including a two liter soda for one price…. Yes it includes a desert! Awesome if you don’t want to cook and this will definitely feed the family!

Both times I've been there for breakfast and the food is great. The home fries are really good as well.
Great place for breakfast. I usually get there when they open at 8 am. And it's very nice no waiting at all.

I know food costs went up significantly in the past year, but this sandwich shop that is always busy, raised prices from $15 to $16 and then to $17.5 in less than a year.
For a sandwich.

At the same time, on my last few visits the quality was declining, the wait times were increasing, and the staff was becoming snarkier.

All that kind of ruins the appetite for me.

I had an absolutely delicious experience at this place! I stopped by for a quick bite and ordered the Red and Blue smoothie along with the Burrito. The smoothie had the perfect texture - not too thick or thin, and the flavors were balanced perfectly. The Burrito was filled with fresh, perfectly seasoned veggies that were neither over nor under-seasoned.
The staff, especially the ladies working there, were incredibly pleasant and went the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable by asking if the music was too loud. Overall, it was a delightful experience, and I'll definitely be returning!

Easily some of the best sandwiches in Brooklyn. My favorite is the Italian, but they have incredible vegetarian options too. The Broccoli Reuben is outstanding, really satisfying texture and flavor but light at the same time. Love the Olliflower too, we have yet to have a sandwich that could even be considered subpar!
Nice food, fantastic service and a really nice Diner place. Food is well cooked and got a lot of flavours. All this in a homelike atmosphere. Very cool beverages. Recommend this for sure.

They have very high standards for their baking, along with a very tolerant position regarding the varied customers.
How so? Last winter they advertised a specialty French Christmas cake, and a Sephardic Jewish Hanukkah specialty (don't call sufganayot a Jelly Doughnut!) ON THE SAME SIGN.

I see El Cofre has reached the level where it can afford to lose customers. I've eaten at El Cofre for years and have always enjoyed the baked chicken. However there are other places that make it just as good AND provide good service. El Cofre, it is possible to achieve both!
My last time walking into El Cofre, I walked in and was not acknowledged even though there were 3 ppl behind the counter packing delivery bags. I waited ... a woman came in after me, no acknowledgement ... then a man comes in and the same. We're all just standing there like a bunch of idiots while we're ignored by the staff. I walked out.
We're dealing with inflation, going through a recession; we all work hard for our $ and deserve respect wherever we choose to spend it.
I've put El Cofre on PAUSE for now with no date to return in the foreseeable future. Good luck to those who still patronize this place, you deserve better!!
Side note: It's also concerning that there are no menus available because the prices are not stable and when I look at my receipt, everything was marked as a custom order even though its a staple menu item.

There are a ton of bad reviews for this location, especially about the staff being rude and slow… it’s all nonsense. I sat and worked at this Starbucks all day, throughout multiple shifts, and each employee I engaged with was super friendly and helpful. Honestly, this was the fastest Starbucks I’ve been to, churning out my orders in 60 seconds or less (and it was busy too). It’s a great environment, great vibes (could use a few more chairs, they have the table space for it). Highly recommend.
Small spot, about 4 tables. Very friendly people. Good prices. Food is absolutely amazing. Empanadas are the best I've had in a very long time.

I usually pick up delivery orders from here, but the other night I got myself some chicken soup and it was amazing. Unfortunately, today I am under the weather and I placed an entire order. Updates review: jncredible sandwich absolutely adore the crunchy baked tofu sandwich. It's so flavorful, filled with refreshing veggies and satisfying! Came back today as thinking about it after having it the first time! The miso sesame noodles were lovely too. Smoothies are always great. And staff are super friendly.

Amazing food, everything we had tasted so good and nourishing. The cozy setting also made it feel relaxing eating there. Everything on the menu is refined sugar free! Highly recommend the crunchy sandwich (tofu one we had). It was so delicious with a great texture while tasting hydrating and nourishing. The staff were super friendly too. Great little local restaurant. Was staying in Brooklyn for a bit and there’s nothing like these type of spots. Great home cooked type food! Came here twice, once for some quick empanadas for breakfast and the other for lunch. Rotisserie chicken, rice, beans and vegetables for $20(USD). Great price, great portion, great food & great people.

If your Dominican spend your money somewhere else. I got White rice, Black beans, and baked chicken. The chicken was so underseasoned it makes supermarket chicken seem like a bargain. The black beans tasted horrible wrongly seasoned full of black specks. A ready seasoned can from Goya microwaved would of been miles better. The white rice was obviously from the day before and tasted barely heated through. The restaurant will continue to serve subpar food if you continue to spend your money here.

This is the second time I’ve been here and I’ve been disappointed both times. The place is set up so great, everything from the number of sandwiches (over 30!) to a pickup window where you can see if your food is ready with post it’s on the window if you missed the guy calling your name. However, the food continues to be disappointing. My Flip Flop (play on an Italian sub) had bread that was extremely dry, at least a day old if not older. There was barely any meat on it, so it was not a great balance. The B+C (breakfast sandwich with chorizo) was a hash texture (all mixed together) and very wet. It’s served on a roll which gets a little soggy but otherwise was good. Overall just expect more from a place that serves exclusively sandwiches. Also not a great chip or drink selection so recommend stopping at a bodega.
Please do not waste your money here. Food is old and flavorless. If they get your order wrong they will turn it back on you and make it seem like you are in the wrong. Back when I would order dinner from here their food would be completely seasoned with just salt and pepper. Everything was so salty. The breakfast options like bacon egg and cheeses are cooked in coconut oil and you could taste the coconut oil in your food which is not appetizing. Now the bacon egg and cheese is completely flavorless, dry, and definitely a health hazard. Why am I being provided food that seems to be a couple days old?Normally I love supporting my local businesses but will not be making that mistake again.
Some of the best wings we’ve ever had. Don’t sleep on them. We loved the atmosphere as well. It’s a restaurant with a huge footprint, and would make a great place for a large party or event. The owner was so nice too! We’ve tried other diners in the neighborhood and this is definitely in a league of its own.

New establishment and new ownership. What made this spot uniquely special, was the atmosphere. The familial setting that you desperately crave as a foreigner in the city. Thank you Franklin. My experience walking into your shop was special.

Cuisine:
Rice was healthy, fresh and colorful. I’m not one to enjoy rice but this felt and tasted like a homemade meal. If you can nail the basics, then I certainly trust what they’re capable of here.

I will happily recommend this establishment to all friends and family.

Such a wide selection of pastries! The cream filled pastry, no idea what it’s called (oops!) was great. The croissants and other treats all tasted fresh and there was no end to options. Coffee was good and they were pretty quick. Still observing proper COVID guidelines and most of the patrons mask up as well from what I saw.
I’m originally from the Bronx & it’s been disappointing trying to find a authentic Spanish food restaurant. I was picking up a order one day & decided to try them out 🤍 I come 4x a week faithfully since!! They all work so earnestly & the manager is available every open day of the week until close & that speaks in volumes. Ty guys for making me feel like I’m back at home with my grandma ♥️

Always LOVED them in High school. Food is always delicious. This time, my chicken was a lil too pink for me this time and red beans smell a lil sour 😩

I called my order in (2 BLTs on rolls) and asked when it would be ready. I was told by a woman "10 minutes" and arrived there in about 15 minutes. Then I waited on line for 7-10 minutes and was told my order was still being made, so I stepped to the side. After another 10 minutes I asked about my order again. This time the people behind the counter all started talking to each other and a woman walked over to another counter on the side and handed it to the person at the register. Apparently, it was sitting there the whole time!

The BLT was good, the service not so much. No one was rude, they were all polite. However, my order should have been clearly labeled and at the counter by the register not somewhere on the side getting cold. Also, making someone stand on a long line after they called their order in is inefficient from a business perspective and annoying for the customer. Have a separate line for phone orders or simply ask if someone ordered already and just needs to pay. They are always busy because the food is good (which is why I gave them 3 stars), so it would be a shame to loose customers due to time management issues (which is why I didn't give them 4 stars).

Excellent service and delicious food. Delivery guy was fast and friendly. Got this order delivered for a friend who was sick and love the packaging and bag and menu was included. Everything was fresh and tasty and still hot. Will definitely try some more food from this cafe!
Not happy with that little guy who works there, he’s always wanna to touch customers and shake their hands and it’s just too much. Also prices are different every day, one day wrap costs $9 , the other day it’s $11 - exact same thing. The food is good, I love their bagels, but they have to change their menu and update prices.
Easily one of the most popular bakeries in Park Slope, and well known in Brooklyn. Makes a fine and strong chai latte, offers many fresh cookies and pastries, and has some yummy breads to grab to go. The kid was always a fan of the bear cookie. Sweet spot.

5 stars ⭐️ the food is good and they give u plenty ur paying but it’s really like ur getting food for two people also the lady in the front is very kind ❤️. Way better than some of the Colombian spots I’ve been to in queens. Whatever that sweet bread is with the strawberry 🍓 filling inside made me wish I can give them a extra star … I should’ve got 2 of them but it was my first time

Great selection of juices. Also great verity of vegan and gluten free options. I like their detox juice and the one with the dates . Surprisingly they don’t make basic lemonade
They used to be a great restaurant I used to order all the time but lately I don't know what happened to them if they changed their chef or what, the food I've been receiving lately is completely unacceptable this is a shrimp mofongo in white sauce the *white* sauce look like water with garlic but it tastes horrible and I tried to eat it without the sauce you can't even do that because the shrimps and the plantains tastes terrible I never had an issue like that with something so simple as a shrimp mofongo never ordering from here again after all the money spent here👎🏻

A nice restaurant with a welcoming staff. We passed by and decided to get pastries and a drink. We ordered a cup of the frozen passion fruit drink and a Colombian bread with guava inside. The food was great. Would return. The staff member was very kind.

Although I’m a huge Starbucks fan, my visit to this particular Starbucks was less than satisfactory. They were out of a lot of drinks- specifically the Refreshers. Additionally, the wait time for the drinks was quite long. I would not recommend going to this Starbucks if you are limited with time, and drinking options. Despite all that, the decor was wonderful.

Got over charged. Not making a big deal out of it but do add up your total before hand.

Steak sandwich $6.25 (not even that good)
W/extra cheese. $0.50

Papaya shake $4.00 (decent but the cup is half full, the rest is foam. Drink start at red line pictured below)

Cheese pastelillos $1.50 (×2) (cold/hard)

Total should have been $12.25

I was charged $16... no tax cuz i paid cash not by card. Idk if its me but the math doesnt add up. Even if there was tax, its not gonna be $4 in taxes

These guys are great! The service was nice and the staff welcoming. The price was good as well. Avenue U Bagels had Bagels, rolls and hero. Plus other different food to order. Avenue U Bagels has it and fresh. These guys are good and I'm definitely going back. Clean and friendly.

Just wandered in because I was near by, so good! Modestly priced, just a casual, family atmosphere, but the food was deeply flavorful, pork chops charred and robust, mofungo properly cooked and yummy.
I'll be back

Skip the new chichi places in the neighborhood and experience authentic Latin American soul food from this local stalwart. The cooks are courteous, accessible, and will cook anything anyway you want. The portions are generous and the prices are affordable. There are tasty vegetarian dishes options too.

We tried this place based on the ratings. It did not exceed our expectations. The food was set up buffet style but cold. We were sold large portions. The beef was tough and the chicken was dry. It was not seasoned to my expectations. I felt robbed even though I left a tip. The staff was very nice. But we were not greeted. They also wore no gloves.
