Ordered via the catering department. Was not impressed with how that was handled. paid $50 for delivery. They sent it via Doordash. We live 15 min away. Ordered it from 1 restaurant and after paying was told it was coming from their sister restaurant. Overall the food was good. Customer Service via the the catering email.... they refuse to speak on the phone or even offer a number if there were issues. Don't plan to order from them for any further events due to these issues.
We went there seeing some great reviews. We ordered bierra tacos and sopes. Food was good, but the beef in bierra was a bit hard. And usually the meat in bierra is always very very tender. But do try their salsa - they are very flavourful especially their red salsa. Our overall experience was fantastic! The staff, ambience and service was great! 😊
Here’s my review of the restaurant very displeased because I’ve been coming to this Mexican restaurant for years but I decided I needed to make this post which is very disturbing so please beware went made a purchase on a takeout order after eating my food halfway through in my refried beans as I was eating my refried beans I discovered something hard inside my mouth. Once I spit it out it was a medium size piece of a rock. I called the restaurant to inform them of the situation, which I was very disturbed the frustrating part. It was no discount well, now consideration of what I discovered in my food no redo your food or anything like that I told the gentleman that always answers the phone hey look, I found a rock in my food nothing so please beware of eating at this restaurant the last time I ordered the same meal take out it was late in my refried beans it was cigarette ashes was discovered in my refried beans.
A Capitol Hill staple. I have been coming here with my family for over twenty years. The decorating has changed but the food and service has remained consistent. Delicious and authentic Salvadoran food at a good price point. Great for families, hangouts, and happy hour with margaritas.

Walking from the DuPont Metro station, I noticed Alero and decided to stop for lunch. I opted to play it safe and ordered a chicken and steak fajita. It arrived with the usual sides and overall I had a great experience. The restaurant was not busy so the food came out rather quickly. Service was good and timely and I plan to return again when in the area and hopefully try them for dinner.
The Well Dressed Burrito did not disappoint! My friends and I were eager to try this little spot in the alley. Wonderful quesadillas and fajitas! Friendly staff and cute spot. Definitely recommend stopping here for a quick meal. Note- very limited dine in space.
Miss DT from pre-pandemic times. The portions got smaller, the salsa bar is gone, and the soda machine is now from Atlanta's Big Red brand and not the punch of deliciousness it once was. To add to the list of bummers: Bacon taco comes with one and tiny piece of bacon. Sounds interesting but leaves one hungry. Chicken and fish are the best.
Clean. Service was mainly no contact and fast. I got three tacos and chips and salsa - carne asada, chicken, and fish. Loved the fish, wasn't a fan of the carne asada seasoning, and the chicken was okay. Chips were fresh but I wasn't a fan of the salsa flavor. I would go back for the fish Taco.

We visited on Sunday afternoon for lunch. You order at the counter and pick up when ready, with seating on the second floor. Staff were helpful, but it took a little long to cook our order. The quesadillas were great, but you should add a protein, and you get chips with a combo.
Pork was decent, definitely not traditional street tacos but better than taco bell. Very fast service but the tacos were stuck to the paper they were wrapped in and had to be torn off. The price listed online for their 3 tacos is 8$, but the prices are all higher in store and 3 taco meal was 12.75 after tax. Nice area for seating, kept clean.

Unfortunately the food is terrible no flavor and the bar person does not know how to make a simple long island. I ask for salt never came till the end when I finished eating. Took my friends here, and we all had a great experience! Friendly service, warm atmosphere, and great food. We split a taco platter, and I tried both the steak and el pastor tacos. Both were excellent. Fantastic drinks, too. I don’t think you could go wrong with any of them. Would absolutely go back!
I recently visited Well Dressed Burrito with high hopes, but left with mixed feelings. On a positive note, the shrimp taco salad was quite good – fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. However, the grilled chicken burrito was a letdown, arguably one of the worst I’ve ever had. The first half was overwhelmingly filled with lettuce, lacking balance in ingredients. The last quarter was even more disappointing, with dry, stale, and bland chicken that was tough to chew. This experience left me really disappointed, especially after the promising start with the shrimp taco salad. Overall, I’m rating it 2 out of 5 stars, hoping for improvement in consistency and quality.
I always enjoy Santa Rosa! It's always fresh food. The service has always been great. The Margaritas are hands down delicious, and they will get you right!!! It's a regular spot for me!! My favorite tacos are the fried shrimp and cod. My least favorite items on the menu are the salsa and the street corn. But the margaritas are enough to make up for that!
Even though we were looking for some mexican restaurant because we thought it would be cool for the Dia de los muertos, there was nothing special about the date, which was a disappointment. We thought it would have a beautiful celebration as the day deserves. Anyway, the food was delicious, the music was good, and the place is cute, well decorated. We liked it.
So my first time here with my friend the food was good the drinks were even better. Definitely will be returning
I was a taco on Taco Tuesday Halloween and they didn’t want to give me a free taco. They told me sorry we don’t have any promotions like that which I respect but I was kind of hurt still. I would give 5 stars but they wasted the perfect opportunity to give someone a free taco. The fish tacos with chipotle mayo and pico de gallo are always 🔥
Great restaurant! I've been there twice now and have had a great time both times. This most recent time I was in town for a work conference and was taking out a group of 30+ people. The event coordinator, host, waiters, and servers made sure the night went perfectly, helped us book a private room, and the food and drinks were delicious! Would definitely recommend and hope to go back soon!
We hosted a happy hour here when our group was in town for a conference, and it was so easy to coordinate and plan. Plus there was not reservation fee like many of the other bars in the area charged. I emailed directly with Caroline who was present at the event, and helped me with all of our needs (including printing something out for us last minute). Mission was super upfront and transparent with the pricing and options from the beginning and we got what we expected. We didn't order that much food, so I can't speak to that as extensively. Overall, our event with Mission was super easy and turned out great! Would definitely recommend.
I checked this place out this past weekend for the first time. I had the trio tacos. They were amazing. The drinks were strong. The servers took care of us before we could even get comfortable. Im going back first chance i get.

Pulpo was the best taco I've ever had, and I'm fat, and I've had a bunch of tacos working with mostly Hispanic folks. My amigos, for sure. This experience was on another level, fantastic food
Located in an alley. No frills dining. There is counter seating and a couple tables that seat two. Most people seem to take food to go. We ate at the restaurant. Food was good! A steady stream of people in and out.
Dinner at Mi Vida was delicious! We had great views of the water from the outdoor seating. The food was excellent from the chips and guacamole to the carne asada and brussel sprouts. Our server was attentive and friendly. I look forward to visiting again!
I’ve been ordering from here for several years and the quality just seems to keep going down. Today I ordered a steak burrito and asked for rice instead of beans, which I was charged extra for. There’s no rice in this burrito and it’s 90% lettuce…I paid close to $20 for a lettuce burrito….
I ordered one shrimp, one bistec, and one taco al pastor. You have to try them out if you like tacos. The juices and flavor were definitely there with the green salsa YUM!
This place was phenomenal, my partner and I’s first time, was an AMAZING TIME. From the customer service, the drinks, all the way to the food. There is not one thing that you could complain about. Becca, was an absolute doll not only did she check to make sure the food was okay, and everything came out great (not to mention everything came out at a better than decent time) but she also engaged in a wonderful conversation from music, to her favorite items on the menu. I can say we will be back time & time again. It was absolutely amazing.!!!
Awesome meals (Birria and Carne Asada) with a yummy Taquitos starter. Both dishes were huge, the corn tortillas were house made, warm and wicked good. Our server (Fernando) was top shelf!

Mission is a fun spot for game day and they do a great job hosting groups! The food and drinks are always amazing and they have a great specialized game-day menu for sports teams with food and drink specials. They always have fast and friendly service and the nachos can’t be beat. For a fun weekend, definitely check out Mission Navy Yard!

An upscale Mexican restaurant with plenty of food and drink choices. Service is solid and quick with a pleasant attention to detail. The location, right in The Wharf, along with the upscale setting inside the restaurant, make for a fine dining experience. There's a large patio by the front door, great for people watching.
A friend and I organized a birthday party at Mission's Cactus Room! It was amazing - a big enough private room with its own bar, balcony and restroom! Mission Navy Yard is great for casual events, watch parties and informal gatherings! The staff was just incredible and even offered us hosts a first round of drinks on the house! They waived off the minimum for a 75 person group such as ours with individual guest tabs, I don't know where else could one get such a good deal! Highly recommend :)
I hosted my birthday party at Mission last weekend, my friends and I went to the Nats game and Mission it's just the best and surest place to have fun, grab some drinks and stay in the mood! They are also very organized with schedule events and open to help you with whatever wishes you have (I brought cupcakes and balloons and they were very gentle storing it).
Also, some of my guests went straight to Mission (it was their first time) and they were all impressed by the welcome and cool vibes that the bar has! (Hint: for big crowds choose pitchers they are great and serve about 8 drinks).

I hosted my birthday party at Mission Dupont after hosting it at Hawthorne last year, and I am once again so impressed! They always set up the space so nicely, have attentive bartenders, and are easy to work with. I will always host my events at Mission Group!
This is a good Mexican restaurant but for they charge I was expecting more in terms of flavor. The atmosphere is good and the decor is very nice. The service is also very friendly and quick. However, the food didn't match the atmosphere and service. The guacamole and chips were very salty, and pretty much everything else we ordered was good but as I said before, we were expecting great considering the location and prices. Two exceptions were the burger, which was flavorful, juicy, and well accompanied, and the fresh but tiny ceviche.

Was in town, it was close to hotel. Wasn’t sure what I wanted to get. Khalil assisted me, as I was very interested in the margarita flight. Because I had a coconut allergy they substituted another margarita. Khalil was very accommodating to my coconut allergy. Out of the 4 drinks, I only liked one, the flora mojito, the drink was very refreshing. Khalil’s customer service was professional, fun and I feel like he is an asset to this establishment. He informed me of other events that was upcoming, but unfortunately my group would not be in town. The only reason for the 4 stars, I didn’t not enjoy all of the margaritas on the flight. Would I return…yes, if in the area. My group ate outside as there was a function going on upstairs. 5 stars to Khalil on his customer service.
Drove down from NYC and needed a quick, good late night bite and walked until we came to The Mission. My tacos were good, but one thing about flour tortillas, the need some kick, some seasoning combo added to them. Otherwise, they are flat next to shrimp w mangoes and seasoned chicken.
The wings were delicious. Hubby had the Southeest salad.
As it was late, the music (perhaps DJ) was really loud. It was difficult for the diners who were seated and not at the bar to hold conversations.

I thought the al pastor & tinga tacos were great. Make sure to ask for more of the green salsa, as it pairs very well! Didn’t love the birria tacos.
This is a new location for this family run Mexican restaurant. It's an explosion of colorful decor. If you had a bad day, come and unwind here. If the lively atmosphere doesn't make you happy, the margaritas will. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Our waiter was patient and helpful. We were seated right away. Service is fast. The food is fresh and tasty. Did I mention the margaritas? Well, I tried and loved the Georgia Peach flavored one. This one is served on the rocks. They also have about 5 frozen flavor options. It's loud with music playing and people socializing, but not obnoxious. It's a fairly small restaurant, but the mirrors give it a very open feel. If I lived here locally, I would frequent this restaurant. Good luck for this new location.
I font remember the name of the dish but it was excellent. I'm not big on fish dishes with alot of vegetables but this shrimp and scallops dish either the broth was spicy and tasty.The shrimp appetizers disappeared before I got to take a pic. Service was excellent and friendly so we will definitely return.
I went to taco city today with some of my coworkers/friends and the food was AMAZING! I had the shrimp taco and the crab taco it was so bomb that i had to order another plate. I don’t remember the name of the drink cause someone else ordered it for me but it was good af ! i will be coming back again! and for all my IG/tiktok girlies, it has bomb lighting and a beautiful space for pics.

Was visiting the Wharf and wanted to grab some dinner so decided on Mi Vida. It was quite busy but worth the wait. There are many selections to choose from so we decided to try a chicken, beef, and steak dish along with a quesadilla. The food and service were good but there was a mixup with my steak order on how I wanted it cooked. The manager came over and addressed the issue which I appreciated and brought me another to my satisfaction. I definitely plan to visit again.
We really enjoyed this place. We had the chimicanga, enchiladas, seafood soup, and carnitas fajitas. All were good. Decor is nice. Service was great. I would definitely recommend this place.
Taco City in DC is worthy of more than five stars!! Their happy hour specials are great, and the cocktails are strong. I subbed rum for vodka in my mojito … delicioso and no extra charges!! My taco de cameron was amazing!!! The carne asada was noteworthy and the torta is enough for two!! Also I cannot stress enough….they hand make every tortilla!!! This visit they had pink tortillas to support the Barbie movie premier!! (Made pink with beet juice- puro natural.) And best service ever. If you are in the area this is a must stop for truly authentic Mexican food. Best I have had in the area thus far!!
My mom and I were enjoying a day in dc and wanted a fun place to eat. We had metro-ed in but the walk from the l’Enfant stop was really not bad at all. When we walked in the restaurant was GORGEOUS and we were excited to try the food. Upon looking at the menu everything looked delicious so it was really convenient that their lunch menu had a tasting menu for $28 per person. I’ll attach pics of everything that came on the tasting menu but it was all amazing! Such a great lunch with so many choices. If you’re ordering a la cart don’t miss the beans or the carne asada tacos, both are amazing. The restaurant is also situated on the wharf surrounded by many other restaurants as well as both piers. After the hearty lunch we walked down the pier for some beautiful views. Cannot recommend this place enough.

The margaritas were perfect, the food was bright and tasty! Our server, Fausto, was helpful and knowledgeable. Patient, attentive - he answered our questions thoroughly and thoughtfully, suggesting items on the menu that we might enjoy. He made sure our visit was remembered for all the right reasons! We opted for outdoor seating, with a beautiful view of the river. It started to rain hard and we were getting wet despite the big, beautiful orange umbrellas, but we were quickly and expertly ushered inside to finish our meals. Service was super friendly and quick! A truly fun experience!
This was our first time at Mission. The dinner burrito was great as were the fajitas. The fajitas chicken was a bit dry but overall they were good. The fajita rice was surprisingly spicy! The only item we didn't like which was not pictured were the beef Barria Tacos. The Barrias and consumé were rather bland. The service was good and the atmosphere very hot (July 4th, inside seating) and super loud. We would definitely consider going back for another date night.

Mission DuPont Circle is a great Mexican restaurant, offering classic dishes and delicious margarita pitchers. The place is a bit dirty (see picture); however, the prices are reasonable and service is quick. We had their hibiscus marg pitcher and it was great! They offer both salt and sugar rims. I’ve gone here several times and I’m always met with the same, average service and decent meal.
This is a reliable place for good hearty food. Prices seem to have increased quite a bit over the years, but the food is consistently good. I miss the old days when they had a self-serve salsa bar. My personal favorites are the burrito mojado and the breakfast tacos. I ordered online for pickup today and my food was ready and waiting right on time. As long as you don't go in expecting a Michelin-starred experience you are unlikely to be disappointed.
We ordered our food online and scheduled delivery. It was delivered ON TIME! The food was amazing 🤩 everything was fresh and prepared well. The sauces were on point. My favorite was the birria tacos.
As the go to spot after Nats games, Mission is well known for their drinks and tequila on tap. What you may not know is they have some delicious food to soak up the alcohol you consumed all day before arriving in their poppin atmosphere. Definitely recommend the nachos for a good app, and please order your tequila shots chilled

What an incredible little gem near DuPont Circle and Farragut North! This restaurant is quaint and unassuming, but the food was just spectacular. The customer service was great too. Everything was fresh and cooked perfectly — I got steak, and the meat quality was excellent. Moreover, the prices were unbelievable for DC! I paid $12 for a massive steak bowl and even had leftovers.
I am sorry Mission you did not live up to the hype!

Wonderfully upscale Hispanic food in the Wharf. The service was impeccable, the waiter was attentive and brought everything we asked for in a timely manner with a friendly smile. The decorations were beautiful and tasteful. The layout of the restaurant gave the seating areas an intimate feel which is perfect for a date night. Even though it was a busy weekend night we were seated quickly in an area that we preferred. The food was enjoyable and well-prepared. With an expansive menu, I would recommend this place to foodies and picky eaters alike.
Made reservations for a Friday night after arriving into DC. Arrived, and it was hot so decided to sit inside, which was much less crowded than patio/street. At first the service was great. It slowly declined throughout the meal. To the point where we waited almost half an hour just to flag someone and bring the bill. As we left, our server was socializing with other employees outside the entrance….maybe attend to your patrons before play time?? Was annoying. But the food was good—had the queso to start then barría tacos and barría grilled cheese. Everything was delicious. So giving 3 stars. Remember your patrons sitting inside when patio is busy!
Delicious and authentic. We will be back for the tacos, guacamole, and salsa. For 2 people we ordered 5 tacos plus the guacamole and it was perfect. Looking forward to visiting for happy hour. Tons of gluten free items and we’ll labeled menu.

Tasty and authentic! The tacos where so good with hand made corn tortillas. The lump crab taco was my favorite. The tamale was just like they prepare it Mexico. Definitely try this place out.
This was a quick trip from the office for lunch... the staff was friendly, and the food was delicious! I ordered the shrimp, chicken and steak tacos. It came with one of each, the shrimp were juicy and the steak was tasty... the chicken was a bit dry... once we put the sour cream, guacamole, and the lime crema inside, it was better. We had 2 jarittos each and our lunch was under $50. I would definitely return.
We had an impromptu family gathering dinner, we were lucky that we didn’t have to wait for table. First of all, we were surprised to find out that there were no chip and salsa for the table (where most of the Mexican restaurants do) and we had to order them. And the chip was not that good, they were pretty hard and thick, which is not what we expected for some home-made chip.

A great DC local find! The mushroom taco is great. Chilorio de res is SPICY! Must get: esquites. Margs are also delicious.

The BEST restaurant experience we’ve had in a while. The food is amazing. The service was on point. And for the price ?? We couldn’t believe the find we made in this place! Wouldn’t be surprised if they need a bigger space soon. Food Network should visit this spot. It’s legit. The papusas are muy muy rico. Sooo good! The plantains, the rice, beans , the tamales, wow. And the margaritas!!! They were really good. Their happy hour is 3-6 every day! Great price for the margaritas and they were made well. The service was exceptional. Very attentive and kind. Felt like we were visiting a family’s restaurant. It’s small and tight inside but they can fit a surprising amount of people by smart table arranging and even though you may be seated fairly close to another table the food and service was so good I didn’t mind that small issue one bit. This is a gem. Comida de El Salvador and your traditional Latin American dishes. Looks like in warmer weather they have a really cute outdoor eating space with lights. Can’t wait to go back here next time! Gracias todo at Las Placitas for a great time!
This is a FANTASTIC place to host an event! I was interested in celebrating an event for my 30th birthday and Residency Match party. If you're looking for a cost effective, delicious food place with excellent, responsive staff seriously look no further! Mission Navy Yard exceeded my expectations.
We did a "semi-private" event in the main bar downstairs which cost me $0 to reserve! The difference between the semi private and private events is the semi-private is more cost effective, and they block off the area with a rope. The staff did a fantastic job from the get-go; I simply put a request online in their contact section, and got a response within minutes. I worked with Dora and Mackenzie and did the cash bar and displayed apps option for about 30 guests. Food options were plentiful - we ordered the fish baha tacos, shrimp tacos, and empanadas and they were a hit! Hot, delicious, and the staff did an thoughtful job with the presentation. Even the bartender downstairs who took care of us was very patient and attentive! Everyone was a fan of Mission's classic margaritas.
My family and friends had such a wonderful time for my event, and definitely recommend them if you want the planning, execution of your event to go seamlessly! I also was touched by the complimentary champagne they brought out for me! Without a doubt it was a fantastic experience--thank you so much Mission Navy Yard for making my celebration so memorable! :)

Went here recently and they only served turkey and ham sandwiches. They didn’t serve the grilled sandwiches, salad, or any of the sides. Their fridge was warm and they had no napkins. I was very disappointed by my service as the wait staff was also very unpleasant.
It was after walking 10km in the city with our three teens that we stopped at The Well Dressed Burrito. It had a good score on Google and we wanted something quick. We were impressed with this little place. The food was good and warm, the employee super patient with us (french Canadians) and the place was clean. We had a different meals and everyone was happy with their food. I definitely recommend this place but be aware, seated places are very limited, 10 at most.
Another neighborhood staple of Barracks Row for years. Their food hasn't changed over the years. It's consistently a good choice for your fix. The cozy atmosphere and good service and pretty good drink specials draw people in from all over. Give them a try. The portions are pretty large too.
Wasn't really a fan of this restaurant. There was a friendly atmosphere but that's only if your a regular here. Food was average and didn't have much flavor. The server did give me a free shot of tequila so I did appreciate that.
This is a good place for a leisurely lunch. The flavorful food invites you to take your time and savor it, along with conversation with your companions, or alone with a good book. On this day, I had my favorite, tempura battered cod tacos with salsa and chips and black beans and rice—the #1 combo on the menu board. A combo must come with a discount, or maybe there was a special coupon today, because although the menu board said it was $15.00, with a pineapple drink, my order only came to $13.80. That’s an inexpensive lunch for D.C. Even Pete’s Diner down the street would have a hard time matching the quality and quantity of food for that price. The cod was perfect, with a crispy batter and flaky, white flesh. The house cream and slaw had the perfect combination of heat and tang. This place is definitely worth a try if you like tacos and want a good meal for a good price.
Tacos were so good, First time eating in DC and I gotta say this taco place is awesome, good food and the employees were very nice. I had chicken tacos and my daughter had a chicken quesadilla in which she ate it all and normally she dont so she loved it too. If you’re in DC check them out
Nothing fancy about this little spot. There is seating that filled up quickly with our group of 4 and a family of 3 behind us. Busy which is a good problem, right?

Nice taco place in Navy Yard with good tacos. I am a bit of a taco snob so I tend to be a little more of a critic than normal. I had the three taco lunch special with a side of guacamole. I tried the beef, chicken & Mexican cactus. I appreciated the chips & homemade salsa made with grilled tomatoes, tomatillo & green peppers; a really authentic & smokey finish & at no extra cost…hard to find these days. The service was friendly and a good neighborhood option. I’ll be back.mushroom quesadilla was awesome!
I tried the chicken and shrimp burrito with double rice and salad. It was pretty good and authentic. My husband had the beef nachos, they were ssssooo cheesy but he enjoyed them. Service was friendly and helpful for me just ordering take out.

The Manager or the Guy with the Purple & Blue hair is Super professional. The waiter with the curly hair and light brown skin isn't a good server. I had dinner & he did a poor job. We had to pay our bill with the Hostess. He was actually upset because we didn't leave a TIP. All he did was take our Drink orders. He took long to even do that. The Manager came over and took our food order. He never checked on Us. We actually wanted to spend more money and buy more drinks. I've even gone to the bar l alone once, & that same waiter never really attend to me. Came in half hour after lunch menu started; didn't have hot drinks, didn't have salads. However, the turkey sandwich was delicious and the place is very clean.
A bit pricey if you eat 7-8 tacos at a time, but very good Al Pastor and Pork Belly tacos. Worth the $4.25. They come with a good amount of toppings and grease on them, don't really need any extra salsa. Tortillas are ok, not as grilled as I would like, but not bad. Might go grab another before I leave.

Ordering: you order by a computer system that is fine but items you are searching for are not properly categorized so it makes it rather difficult to navigate and find the items that you were looking for if you’ve never been there before.
Post Ordering: once I placed my order and paid, sit down and didn’t realize that no one gave me my cups or my drink so I walked back over to pick up my cups and a young lady appeared asking me to show my receipt and proof of purchase to pick up my cup, she was not there to advise me to take my cup but when I walked back over to pick up a cup she magically appeared.
Wait; it was Cinco de Mayo so there was a pretty nice amount of wait time but it was no worries I was with a friend and we were chatting up, there was a ton of pick up in to go order so there was a lot of traffic in and out.
Food; I ordered the fish taco deluxe, extremely disappointed the fish was dry and not great. I would’ve been more happy with just a veggie taco. I also had the rice and beans which were amazing the rice was really good and the beans were delicious. I also ordered the guacamole and chips. The guacamole was phenomenal and the chips were fresh, and the salsa was really good.
Disappointment: I realize once I left which I live in Baltimore that they did not put my churros x3 in the bag and there was no way I was driving back to DC to get them, super disappointing.
Overall I would visit again, I would not order the fish tacos. I would try something different the salsa and guacamole was amazing. service was subpar, Restaurant was Decor was ok. No one cleaned the tables in between Guest but I walk with my own alcohol so I cleaned my own table.

Let me just say that this place became one of my bf and I favorite go to place from the very first time we visited back in august! The food is just AMAZING! The place is beautiful and the staff is just beyond admirable!! My bf and I even got a chance to talk to the owner and he was just as amazing, we definitely let him know how much we loved and enjoyed our time here! If you’re looking to get some good food, stop by taco city!!! Soo sooo GOOD!
They definitely did ask what I wanted on my sandwich. The plac was not very busy at 12:30 pm. Pictures of a steak and cheese (spicy) and a gyro. A very good sandwich.
This was our first time going to Mission, as we have had heard mixed reviews.
The noise level of the music was really loud, almost that of a night club when you first walked in. If the music was lower, it would’ve been a better experience.
The drinks were not bad at all. I will say the ranch water was a little strong, had to cut it down with a few limes. My sister ask for a corona with a lime, the waitress (Julia) told her it came in a can, but she still wanted a glass with a lime.
The food was really good. I highly impressed with each thing that everyone got. Definitely looking forward to trying other items on our next visit.
I would like to address the lack of attention and enthusiasm our waitress Julia had to offer. There was a table next to us and she had to at least come by their table five times and could careless that we were done. I had to get up and ask her for the check, to which she was on her phone and seemed bothered that I asked for the check. Julia asked if I wanted it individually separated. There is a picture that is attached, you can see that she has a mask below her nose. This is highly alarming, as she is handling peoples food and drinks.
I would love to speak with someone about my experience here.

Little gem. Amazing steak sandwich and this is tough for me to say it as I am a sandwich fanatic. Super friendly staff greeting you tops off the experience. Strongly recommend!!
This place is convenient for a quick sandwich with freshly carved turkey. I've been coming here for years. Lately, however, the quality has been significantly slipping in terms of sandwich assembly and service. It's rather disappointing.
This place has been in D.C. since 1984 so i feel bad that i haven't come sooner being that i grew up only 5 minutes away. Always heard great things about the food and finally got to try for myself. This is one of a handful of authentic Mexican restaurants in the D.C. area and i must say that they didn't disappoint at all. We tried the fajitas and tacos. The tortillas were hand made and the steak was very flavorful and tender. Was the best Mexican food I've had to date in the DMV area. Will definitely be back very soon.
