Rooms are good but have be gone old. USB Port for charging doesn’t work, AC switches are broken and doesn’t work.
Room service is great but charging 65 DKK for delivering food to room is a rip off.

I recently stayed at the Scandic Spectrum Hotel, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The rooms were cozy and spacious, providing a comfortable stay. The receptionists were exceptionally polite and welcoming, ensuring a warm welcome.
However, I must say that the staff at the bar and in the restaurant seemed somewhat robotic and lacked emotion, which was a bit off-putting. The real letdown, though, was the breakfast. Even though we had to book a day in advance for a reservation, the crowd was overwhelming, making it nearly impossible to find a table. Furthermore, many food items were out of stock, which was quite disappointing.
In summary, the hotel offers comfortable rooms and excellent reception service, but the lackluster experience at the bar and restaurant, along with the chaotic breakfast situation, left room for improvement.

The TV remote didn’t work (took more than 24 hours to fix). There was no hair dryer even though the person on the phone insisted I wasn’t looking hard enough (finally convinced them to bring us one, again 24 hours). There is an automated lighting system that seemed pretty cool until it came on by itself at 2:30AM.

I was in Copenhagen for a holiday with friends for 3 days. The room was really clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and ready to help. The gym was free to use and the machines were fine with a relaxing music. The price was in comparison with the services reasonable. The spa including the swimming pool was not included with the reservation. You must separately book it in advantage and it was a bit expensive. The parking was also pricy.

We've been here for one night. Beautiful room with view on the river. I mentioned to the staff about my partner's birthday and they brought a cake , birthday card and a bottle of wine. Very polite staff and good breakfast. Highly recommended
It's around a mile from Central Station. Being a small city it's easy to get around. Bikes, busses or trains. The rooms are a bit tired and can use updating. Though the bed is comfy. The staff are super friendly. The executive lounge is fairly standard Marriott fare.
Amazing hotel, all the details are spot on. From the little things in your room (I won't spoil all the surprises) to the swimming pool and the rooftop bar. It probably has the best hotel gym I have ever seen. I was sad leaving after only one day which probably summarized my experience pretty much. Very much recommended.

The hotel accepted my booking, reference 100573, at 9PM just after I arrived at the airport with my partner and two babies. We travelled by bus to the hotel, and managed to get there just over 10:30PM. We called the number at the door to have it open, and the lady at the phone said: 'Oh I don't know why they let you book a room that late, I am sorry you can not check-in because there is no one there, we will have to reimburse you'. And that was it.
Next day I called to check on the reimbursement that never happened, other lady said: 'The office ppl that do that are not here today, will process it tomorrow and I will leave a note to them. Anyway, they should have done something for you at then, someone should have come downstairs.'
Me and my family felt deeply disrespected for having to go there by foot with all luggages during the night with two babies crying, while they just said 'sorry, can't have you even though we accepted your payment'. UNACCEPTABLE. And they are still HOLDING MY MONEY, and did not even offered anything for the incovenience more than 'aahh, sorry'!!!!

Nice and comfortable rooms and good breakfast and friendly staff. However, I have to give only two stars, I went to use the hotel's sauna area and pool, first I asked what the rules were where the lady explained to me that you can not phone because people are naked and that is understandable. When I used the sauna as it is normally done, that is, without a comping outfit, and then from the pool the same lady at the reception came and said that I should wear a comping outfit and the rules in the hotel are that only in comping outfit (I made sure that this also applies to staying in the sauna itself) Apart from the fact that it is not hygienic to enter the wet sauna in comping attire, I felt like an intruder and that I was doing something wrong, of course I complied, but all desire to relax after work passed me by. I also read your rules and regulations and there is no word about it, I will say so much nice hotel, but the bad impression remained, especially since I asked at the beginning.
Wonderful- special hotel with lots of nice special features! for example the pool (its as shown on the pictures) awesome like in a jungle, really worm water to relax and stay! the fitness is a vera well equipped open to other ciustomers gym with great help and support. the rooms are really comfortable and cozy with special design. The breakfast buffet is great, lots of vegan and healthy choices! we are coming back for sure!
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It is a little bit dated but the pluses are aplenty.
The room we had was the water facing room. So good to see the activities people are doing in the canal.
The location is also very good. Within walking distance to the Copenhagen Central Station that makes it easy to venture outside of the capital.
The food they serve for breakfast and afternoon happy hours was excellent.
So, I'd recommend this place to anyone.

Too expensive and disappointing.
Room on the first floor was claustrophobic despite high ceilings. It had only one tiny window, I don't even know how is it legal to declare it as a bedroom.
Pool had too much chlorine, I got headache from it.
This is the only rooftop terrace I have ever been to that doesn't have any view.
Signature breakfast was seriously understaffed and few staff there were completely uninterested - there was no any coffee, juice or eggs. None of the food had allergens labelled. I didn't even bother to ask was there anything vegan or gluten free. That would be far too complicated for them, as there was no single glass for juice or any coffee -.- I can't believe I paid 50eur per person for that breakfast.
They advertise themselves as sustainable and organic, but don't expect vegan, hotel is heavily decorated with cow skin and dead animal heads.
I must admit I fell for their marketing and left with bitter taste.

Room smelt a little "fusty" when we arrived we opened the windows and this improved. A few of us woke up with bites in the morning. But the location and cost was brilliant, shared bathroom and toilet, which we both kept clean

This was one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at! We arrived very early from Stavanger, Norway so our room was not ready, understandably. We were able to sit down and have a nice breakfast. After that, the staff offered to rent us two bikes from the hotel to cruise around beautiful Copenhagen. We got to see the city early morning without too much hassle and cheap. This hotel is fully equipped with everything. My wife and I were able to take a complementary Thai boxing class. The highlight of this hotel is the magnificent courtyard which is a replica of Bali. I’ll let the photos speak for themselves. We will definitely stay here again!
A nice hotel in the heart of Copenhagen. Breakfast is a buffet as you'd probably expect. The hotel is spacious and the rooms are modern but they have overly complicated switches for the lights and electronic blinds. They aren't clear and it's confusing what does what and the blinds went up and down without us pressing a button. There's a restaurant to eat at with a pizza buffet (which is delicious). There's also a small gym and a spa.
Absolutely loved my stay with my family at this hotel. Rooms and bathrooms were huge and extremely clean with great views - and we had the standard rooms! Lots of windows that I think were triple paned because you couldn't hear a thing outside when they were closed. Loved that there was air conditioning as it was warm when I was there. The staff were extremely helpful at all times, especially when my family had our Airbnb fall through last minute and we needed 4 rooms on the spot - they gave us 4 rooms on the same floor basically all right next to each other! I also enjoyed that the lobby had lots of lounge areas where I could wait for the rest of my family to get ready or where we could make plans for the day. The location is fantastic, as well. A short and beautiful 10 minute walk across the bridge brings you into the core of Indre By (which can be pretty touristy in some spots), but the location of the hotel itself is not touristy and has lots of pretty canals so you really feel like a local. There is a metro barely a 5 minute walk away and a bus stop right outside, so getting around the city was super easy. Note: they have delicious lemonade free in the lobby that was a nice refresher when coming and going :)
To be fair, we haven’t stayed anywhere else in Copenhagen but I’d almost try anything over this place. If you need to be at Parliament or the Supreme Court, it is close, otherwise find someplace nicer. The hotel is a massive convention type hotel so maybe for that it is ok. For a couples getaway or family trip there are much nicer areas. This area isn’t clean and neither is the hotel breakfast area. The service is possibly the worst we’ve encountered. They do not use any common sense when dealing with issues that arise. The rooftop bar is lively but the staff is terrible. The hotel is pretty quiet so that is a plus. We are currently here and wish we had found something nicer.
ETA - I didn’t complain to hotel because when we were checking in it was explained to multiple guests that the hotel was fully booked and there was no room to make changes or resolve any guest room issues. Perhaps they could have had housekeeping spray room deodorizer or something like that but did I really want to chance that? I hope they will be able to work on efficiency and some of the other issues.

I stayed in a suite and the room size was just perfect. Good size lounge with seating for 4 people. Large TVs in bother the lounge and bedroom. The bed area could be closed off with sliding doors there were two toilets, the shower was great and the ambience was special. Lovely tasteful decor. Open your room door you’re in a central atrium overlooking the indoor swimming pool. An early swim in a rain forest style green space. So relaxing and just beautiful. Upstairs to the sauna and steam room. What a great way to start your day. I didn’t use the rooftop area or restaurant but everything looked very special. There is a downstairs gym which seems very popular. The staff were polite and courteous. Location wise there is a large enclosed lake nearby for morning strolls or jogging. Plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. Even a wonderful peaceful historic graveyard to explore - felt like New Orleans in that district. You’re very central and close to the metro. Downtown Copenhagen is minutes away. I can’t really fault this hotel at all even if I try to nitpick. It was certainly a highlight of my trip to have the pleasure of staying in this glorious oasis of a hotel. You can feel your everyday stress and problems melting away as you fall for its charms. Highly recommended I’ll definitely use this hotel chain again.
The location of the hotel is great. Right by the canal and walking distance to most attractions. The breakfast buffet is very good.

Large room with excellent amenities. Very nice view too. Breakfast buffet was very good with wide varieties they have gluten free corner. Location is good, little out of the center but walkable distance to all attractions.
The entirety of the staff were excellent - knowledgeable, personable, and kind. The lobby, bar, courtyard, and exterior are beautiful and cozy.
So, why only two stars? Because I feel deceived. The room we were given was in their obviously older wing of the hotel - it didn’t match any photos shown anywhere, by any means. It was old, unclean (not that it wasn’t swept, but dirty since the fixtures and items in the room were old and needed obvious maintenance), and insecure (the window which opened basically to ground level didn’t latch properly and often fell off its hinges - and no, I am not, unfortunately, making this up). The list of little annoyances, like no outlet in the bathroom, needing access stairs to access an elevator?, and the chrome cast not working (we called and no one ever came to help until the next day when we asked again), add up to a litany of borderline unacceptable policies at a standard hotel, but for what this hotel is billed as, it is outright deceiving customers that are put into the “old wing” of the hotel.
I would not recommend anyone stay here. There are many better places in Copenhagen at a comparable cost.

Asked for our room to be serviced (the next day) and it still hadn’t been serviced by 3pm which was disappointing. As a result, we had to ask for toilet roll and fresh towels at reception. However, these things were provided promptly without fuss.

Great location to access food, great walking and sunset views on the waterfront. The room was beautiful and overall quality of hotel is very high. They have beautiful 8th floor bar / cafe for sunsets. The bed was comfortable and shower wonderful.
The Hotel Kong Arthur is beautifully decorated and manicured, with many great places to lounge and beautiful design. The staff was pleasant and the room was comfortable and spacious. The bathroom could use an update relative to the rest of the hotel, but still a definite recommend.
Very nice hotel, conveniently located near the central station and within walking distance of all the main attractions in the city. The staff were super helpful and friendly and the breakfast buffet was very good too. The room and the bed was comfortable, however I thought the bathroom/toilet was a little too small. I would still recommend staying there and would stay there again myself when I am next in Copenhagen.
I liked the room visually and breakfast was super. Cleaning team is fantastic! Room was super clean and they had made a funny note. Air quality is not the best and also noise from outside & other rooms can be heard. Water splashing from shower and washbasing tab easily all over. But was cozy stay for one night.
No AC, no mini fridge/minibar so no place to put your drinks etc, no complimentary lotions and poor quality shampoo. No closets for clothes (overall small room). Location was good.
The Hotel is an Oasis of decadence and class. We were fortunate to encounter Vanbruun jewelry consultant, while we where there.. So so in ❤️
Service was great and staff really try to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Although the room was big, some of the usual comforts with a 5 star hotel was not included due to their objective of reducing the carbon foot print. The breakfast included at the hotel was great and it's about a 5-10 minute walk into the heart of the city.
Spent one night at the hotel in July for my husband’s birthday. The guest relations manager helped me with planning the stay incl. good recommendations to some nice restaurants as well as organizing a sweet gift when we arrived to our room.
The service at this hotel is 5 stars, the staff were so professional and attentive. Everything was taken care of and we could just relax and enjoy the stay, completely carefree. We will come back and stay here again as we felt so welcome. Thank you!

An absolutely gorgeous hotel, eco-friendly and luxurious. Our room was spacious and it included all essential necessities. My favourite features were the special bed the height of which you can adjust with the push of a button, the TV you can link to your phone really easily, a spacious bathroom with a dreamy shower, lights with a dimmer, a kettle and tea... And of course the view! And let us not forget the breakfast! A huge space covered with everything you could possibly need in terms of breakfast options, fresh, sweet or savoury, which you can enjoy in beautifully decorated indoor spaces or outdoors. There were so many vegan options, I was extremely pleased! Lastly, the staff was friendly and kind, always willing to help and offer us options regarding our stay, as we had to delay our checkout for a relatively small price. When visiting Copenhagen this is the place to stay!

There was no noise or confusion ever, nor did we have to wait for elevators, since there were 6 of them. Everything was perfect and there was even a public balcony on the 3rd floor where you could enjoy the view!

The service at the Kong Arthur is perfect! The staff were super friendly and helpful. The lobby and bad areas were beautifully laid out and the couches and other seating areas were very comfortable.
They have an area to store luggage while you wait for check in, but it’s self service and everyone staying there has the code to get in and out. It was awkward and warm and we would have preferred staff help. The location was excellent - close enough to tourist attractions, but out of the way of all the tourists. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go.
Where this hotel loses points are the rooms. The bed is okay, but the pillows and bedding are strange. The pillows were lumpy and we had neck pains when waking up. The bed is simple and okay, but not consistent with the rest or the hotel. The bathrooms are awkward and water from the shower get everywhere, including all over the toilet - which was surprising as the pressure is TERRIBLE. I get that they are an eco-hotel, but it took twice as long to shower.
The rooms were quite warm and stuffy with the windows closed. Opening the windows let a flood of light and noise in. We would not stay here again.
They have an area to store luggage while you wait for check in, but it’s self service and everyone staying there has the code to get in and out. It was awkward and warm and we would have preferred staff help. The location was excellent - close enough to tourist attractions, but out of the way of all the tourists. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go.

Was very happy with our stay here. We stayed in a Junior Suite, which was the perfect size for our family of 4. The smaller rooms were very small...They have a very nice gym that you can use doe free. And a pool and spa (that can be used for a fee). The pool is only open from 08:00-19:30 and requires a reservation (kids 5+ are allowed). The location of the hotel was PERFECT!! It was a 15 min walk to most places or a 10 min bike ride (which you can rent, the day of, for a fee). They have a beautiful rooftop bar and big breakfast buffets. I would highly recommend!!
The reservation made it seem like the room had a king and two twins but it was just one king, so that got us off on the wrong foot at the beginning as we ended up having to book a second room for our kids. However, I’m still giving it five stars because the service was excellent and the rooms were super comfortable and the breakfast was world class!!! The whole family loved it.
Stopped by for champagne. We were seated on the front row, the seats on the outside of the restaurant. Great service, perfectly chilled champagne. But I got the feeling that if I would've dressed a 5ad better we could have been seated at the tables in their outdoor service instead of on the street....

This is a great hotel. The staff are just brilliant. Nothing is too much trouble. Happy hour at 5.00 and 10.00pm. We had I think the smaller rooms but they were clean and adequate and made up every day what more could you ask.
We really enjoyed our stay, the bed was very comfortable, shower was good and the hotel has a nice vibe. The room was a good size. It was warm but had a big fan and 2 windows that could be opened wide, so it was fine. The lobby is a nice place to chill out with great coffees and nice drinks. The cozy hour in the evening is a nice extra with a free first drink and the staff are all lovely!
We had a 4 night stay in hotel Mayfair. Mostly nice personal at reception, we had booked a small room which was clean and quiet.
But 6/5 stars for the breakfast which was above any expectations! Fresh fruits and berries incl. 🍓& 🥑, pastrys, bread, organic juices etc. Everything had the little extra. I’ve eaten a lot breakfasts at different hotels around the world in my life but this was easily top-5! 🤤

It was… okay. There were definitely issues though - The rooms are super hot with no air con, one day they didn’t replace our towels and when we rang to ask why they said they’d run out of big towels (!). The doors slam and the walls vibrate at night. There’s a few comments in the reviews too about the windows not closing correctly, which is also right.
Also, the “wet room” shower is mad, you just spray water everywhere and end up having to use the wiper for the floors. Totally impractical!
The location is great and the staff were super nice, but overall I probably wouldn’t recommend staying here :(

Decent Hotel, with one big watchout: They do not always honor the room type booked. I reserved a room with twin beds, and in fact choose this hotel over other options in Copenhagen because they offered a Twin Bed option. But when we arrived, they told us they could only put us in a King bed room (1 bed, not 2). For the price we paid (this is an expensive place to stay), this was very frustrating!! And, in my opinion, not acceptable to change the number of beds that people book.
The room itself was fine. Good bathroom, good view. We couldn't figure out how to work the air conditioning, but since the weather was pleasant, it didn't impact us. The location was convenient. And the staff was mostly helpful.

Very nice stay but the area is not ideal. Staff are young and friendly. Food is a bit Indian - I really don’t care for Indian food - the $50 breakfast is served in a pretty room looking out at the city or if you prefer, near the rooftop in a less bright table. Good coffee. Some accents are too thick to decipher. The pool is outstanding with sauna and outside shower. The kitchen was missing utensils, bowls, etc. maids were very nice.
Overall on our 7 day stay we enjoyed our time at hotel Mayfair, however, I would like to make sure that everyone is aware of a policy which we were not made aware of at the time of arriving. We arrived early and the hotel was gracious enough to offer us a spot in their locked secure room, to store our luggage until we can check in during that time the secured room was broken into through an open window and our bag was stolen. It was pointed out to us when we came back and noticed that our bag was missing that the policy at Mayfair is they are not responsible for lost luggage, a sign stating this is on the wall and is very small. However, in a room that is secured and locked leaving the window open seems like it would be the hotels responsibility. It would have been appreciated perhaps to have been brought to our attention beforehand so we were aware of the risk. I would also have liked a little more empathy when this initially happened. All I got was pointing at the sign and it’s not our responsibility and you need to go to the police.after their investigation of seeing someone broken through the window of crawled through the OPEN window the hotel did upgrade us to a nicer room and compensated our breakfasts for our time there, very nice. However, Christine (manager) did like to point out that their policy states they are not responsible for bags in their secured room. The staff after the fact were very good and it is the reason I am still giving them a four rating. I would however I recommend you asking if there any policies that you may need to be aware of when checking in or leaving items in a secure area.
Tldr: don’t go. Have a drink maybe but don’t sleep there.

Fantastic location, large comfortable, well appointed rooms, impeccable service! Had a delightful short stay at this hotel. Was skeptical having stayed many years ago in another location with this group, but this hotel was in a different league. From start to finish my stay was excellent, nothing too much trouble and everything executed smartly and with speed. Would happily stay here again and plan to do so!

The location was awesome and the common areas were lovely. There is a food hall and metro station a few blocks away. We rented bikes from the hotel, which was an easy process. It would have been nice if they were included. We enjoyed the cosy hour each afternoon. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The luggage room is disorganized and any guest has access, so we did not feel safe leaving our luggage and sat down until our room was ready. The shower water gets everywhere in the bathroom, but the rooms were nice overall. *We did request an updated room.*. We loved the two twin duvets and might implement that at home! We requested a taxi when leaving and waited a little while. We were told it is hard to get taxis on a Wednesday, so we walked to the metro to go to the airport. This was relatively easy, but we would have ordered a taxi ahead of time if we had known! Thank you for a great experience overall. Probably our favorite hotel out of the 4 we stayed in this trip!

Wonderful, modern hotel in a quiet but convenient location in Copenhagen. The breakfast offerings were good, and all the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean, comfortable beds, and nice showers with good water pressure. I would definitely stay again!

Pretty barebones in amenities, but great location near a metro station, Tivoli, and Glyptoteket. My room had 2 bunk beds for a total of 4 beds. Pretty cramped, two people need to squeeze by each other to move past the beds. Sink in the room, but bathroom and shower are shared. No fridge or AC (we visited in summer, you probably don't need these in winter). Overall, don't expect much more than a place to sleep and wash up. If you're spending most of your time out and about like we did, it gets the job done.
This is my favorite hotel in Copenhagen, stayed over 8 times there so far.. summer , winter with snow all good and the treatment is amazing . I personally prefer light colored suite rooms to purple one. As well the spa Amazing is highly recommended

I will now stay here for every visit to Copenhagen for a number of reasons. The staff are incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable while the beds are really great. You can't get a better location being just a few minutes away from both the Central Station and hundreds of great bars and restaurants
Bar with a hotel as opposed to a hotel with a bar. One of the worst experiences in a hotel ever and I stayed in many. No AC/ventilation simply NOT acceptable for a "4 star hotel". Very warm night meant had to keep windows open. However my room was on the 1st floor, right above bar/restaurant which meant that I could hear the loud voices as if they were in the room until 12pm+, and trucks unloading overnight meaning very loud noises resulted in almost no sleep whatsover. Not to mention the smoking smell coming into the room from the street underneath. Maybe consider investing in some a/c instead of having a happy hour every day. Never again.
All the natives of Copenhagen recognize this or view it as the best hotel in town. The location is quite exceptional and the service is top rated. Restaurants in the hotel are quite good in the food, and keeping with Copenhagen standards, is excellent. The downside is that the property is showing its age and though it appears to have had some cosmetic updates, the physical part is not so good.
Great location in the city. The happy hour wine, complimentary fresh coffee in the mornings and included toiletries are awesome. They have bike rentals and laundry on site as well. Best part of the experience was the staff - very accommodating and pleasant. Only downsides were no A/C and a bit noisy late Saturday night.
One thing stands out in this hotel is the employees. Been to many 5 stars, this one is truly special. Everyone is so kind and ready asisst, start from the doorman with biggest smiles and welcoming, the receptions were amazing ppl, Razvan & Cecilia are there for your need, the concierge who is willing to spend hours attending guests curiousity.

- bedroom overlooking internal courtyard was noisy and also not user friendly: plugs in weird spots, bed jammed against wall so you have to clamber over each other.

Hotel was perfect! A really great location near great shops and restaurants. The staff were lovely and had fun in the bar with happy hour!! Room was everything you need, very comfortable and great bathroom. Had a really great breakfast, so much choice and excellent quality it was well worth including it with our stay. I would definitely go back!

Decent hotel. Serves as a good sleeping spot while visiting Copenhagen. It is only 5 minutes walk from the metro, which is very convenient. There are not alot of frills here however. It is basic. A room with a sink and space to keep your luggage and a small table and chairs. It does suffice for the real traveler, as it's a place to sleep after a long day of sightseeing. The bathrooms are shared. There are 2 showers and 2 toilets per floor. I usually don't have issue using either when I need to, as there are only about 5 or 6 rooms per floor.
The front desk keeps sort of weird hours, and while they aren't at the desk, the front door and whole lobby are closed off. There is a door out back , with key card access so you can get to and from you room. I would reccomend staying here if you are just a simple traveler looking for no frills and just a place to lay your head at night.

The hotel rooms are small, common bathrooms were not much clean. Reception is not available beyond 5pm. We have to call them multiple times and then they remotely gave access to the building. Heater was not working welcoming us to a freeking chilled rooms. and after complaining they provided a portable heater. I don't feel it's a 2 star hotel. Doors are not smooth to close.
After staying here for a week the doorman stopped me from entering and asked me what I was doing there. Not that I needed to have been staying there to justify my entering the hotel, since they have restaurants open to the public, but I reached for my keycard and finally was allowed to pass.
Of course, this only happened when I was not accompanied by my partner. Apparently a single Asian female needs extra scrutiny at the door of a public place.
Also, I had the concierge send very important documents for me. They were not sent and when I asked for the tracking, I never heard back from them.
