Wanting to buy a new mattress, Michel G provided excellent information, service and patience as I narrowed down my choices. Well informed regarding the products, professional and kind. Not only did I find my new mattress, but my shopping experience was pleasant, to say the least.

Impolite and arrogant customer service representative at store. We had pre-booked 2 armchairs and received a call from the staff that it’s now available in stock. We went to the store to pay in full and schedule the delivery. We were attended by this one person who had a very careless attitude to every request we made. Very stern, answered every question with a NO. No eye contact, not even a faint smile. After the amount was paid in full, he left the desk in a second, didn’t even bother to say thank you at the least. Maybe he was just doing his job ( which he clearly didn’t liked 😏) He didn’t say anything inappropriate, but his behaviour was completely cold and unwelcoming. We’re certainly not going back to store again!!

Only reason I am giving a 5 stars is thanks to Alex's excellent customer service. He's the only one there who isn't rude and impatient with customers. Definitely recommend buying with him.

If you value timing, avoid dealing with the Brick. I bought a mattress set from "Saint-Hubert 1451 Boul des Promenades." But on the delivery date, when I called to inquire why I hadn't received anything, they said the delivery date had been rescheduled and no one had informed us of the change. I'm really annoyed by their timing.

Worst sales service ever.

They scheduled the date and 3h time slot to deliver the appliances, but on that day, we found out it’s missing a few appliances. And we already schedule someone to install everything (after that 3h delivery time).

Called a guy called Erick Brais to solve the issue, but he keeps gaslighting us, saying “it’s not our fault you guys scheduled installation on the same day”. Isn’t it your fault that you didn’t deliver all the appliances as promised?????? Now it’s our fault????

Oh and another thing..so we set up a second delivery date (for the missing appliances). We called customer service the day before, just to be sure, and they didn’t schedule it at all!!! If we didn’t call, we would have to wait for nothing, again!

So basically, everything went well when they try to sell you stuffs, but they don’t care about anything after. If you can find another store, please do so :)

I went to the VIP day in March and had fabulous service! Manon and the store manager went the extra mile to meet my needs! Always satisfied with my purchases. My new Samsung tv, and furniture with sound bar and fireplace a joy! My new armchair just perfectly matches my room and is comfortable! Thank you Brick 😊

Beautiful store with very friendly service. I was looking for a fan filter but they did not sell my model in the store so the salesperson directed me to the distributor and told me to contact her if I had any issues. What a nice person!

Changed my review, completely inacceptable. I am told to pickup my purchase Friday, arrive there, sorry your chairs have not arrived. A bit annoyed I leave and asked to be called. I get a call 4 days later, arrive at the store and told I was called by mistake, the chairs are still not there. Pick another store if you can.

The worst store I have ever bought from. They do not accept any responsibility for the sale of goods after sending them and do not respect their customers. After buying from this store, I have received a bunch of broken sofas, and after much difficulty, I changed it, and the next time they sent a broken sofa and the story continues, never make our mistake

Today I went to Brick in Saint-Hubert around 3:00 in the afternoon to buy a sofa knowing that I live in Saint-Laurent based on a call from a friend of mine who informed me that there were discounts. Indeed, I was able to find what I was looking for (I will put a picture below). The sofa was $1,698 and after the sale it's $498. Dollars. Indeed, I decided to buy it and asked the responsible person in that department (salesman), whose name was Willian, to complete the procedures. He told me that the reason for the big discount is a defect in the sofa’s mechanism. I told him that I had examined it and that it looked good and there were no problems with it, and that I wanted to pay for it immediately. Willian examined it, and indeed, he did not find any defect in it, and he showed signs of astonishment. He took my address and asked me if I wanted to extend the warranty for a period of five years, but I refused.. Before I paid the price, he spoke to someone and then told me that unfortunately the sofa is sold. I am not a small child and it is very unprofessional for me to be treated this way. i know that the sofa was not sold and that perhaps the person wanted to buy it for himself by discovering that there was no defect in it... or that something was wrong on their part and they wanted to withdraw the offer under the pretext that the sofa is sold. The basis of business is trust and honesty, and this I did not find in my dealings with Brick... Yes, I cannot force you to sell me that sofa, just as losing a customer means nothing to you. But I have to record my observation, may it reach your administration. Unfortunately, you wasted my time and I am very disappointed....

Bed frame broken after 13 days. I bought the bed frame COASTAL “solid acacia wood queen” and it is beautiful, but the quality is the worse I’ve ever seen; it broke after 13 days. It seems that you can’t sit on the mattress because the bed frame will be broken. I weight 55kg so I’m not a very big person. I’m very disappointed and I DO NOT recommend this product.

Just like Brandsmart in Florida this is a nice place to find a few deals on furniture and appliances. You can browse as much as you want without being bothered but there are people out there to help if you need it.
Good service. Efficient and ready to help and answer questions but not bothered. They let you browse as you please without being on your heels. I had a great experience and ended up buying a great sectional sofa combination. Competitive sales prices. Waiting time for delivery is same as everywhere, whether you buy Canadian made or foreign (Italian in my case), count 6-8 months. Unless you buy the floor sample I suppose.
Delivery cost is 79.99$plus tax at St-Hubert store for delivery on the South shore. Impeccable restrooms 🚻 and free parking on premises

Please be wise and avoid buying from here!
We ordered five appliances eight months in advance and made over 2k deposit. When the delivery date came close, I called and emailed Philippe, who is our sales advisor, and confirmed many times that we can have all appliances delivered on time. We were informed one day before the delivery date that most of items in the order were out of stock and we needed to wait another couple of months yet no guarantee! I communicated with Philippe, to find a solution. The whole experience was unpleasant, confusing and time consuming. At the end we had to cancel the whole order and buy from other places, I wish I didn’t waste my time here.

If 0 star was an option that’s what I would have chosen. I purchased a bed which literally sank under my weight on multiple occasions, one occurring when I was asleep. Horrible, specially when they are refusing to accept a return and want to force me to keep a defective product. I would not recommend to anyone trying to protect their peace of mind. 0.

The delays they give to receive your furniture is not right. it always take much longer than they say it will. Don't trust the sleazy salesmen for the dates he gives you. we bought a couch and they said 1 month delivery. now its been back order and who knows when we will get it. I wont be returning to economax.

I wish I could give them a 0 star. Worst experience I had in my life. I ordered a bed in December and they said it will be delivered in end of January. I never received a bed and then I called they said mid February, then end February, then starting of March and after that they even stopped picking my call. Now I complained to the customer service and then a girl from store callled today and she said it may be delivered at the end of April but she's not sure. I mean what the hell is this. One thing these structube guys giving misinformation, making false promisises and on top of it they never appologized and rudely say you can cancel your order we can not do anything like I ordered the bed to cancel it after 3 months. I never wanted to hurt any business and after waiting 3 and half months, I finally decided to share my experince with other clients. I would not recommend you to relying on structube especially this one in Longueuil.
We bought a L-shaped bed couch for a good amount of money. We then realized the fabric was glued on the coussin, which then of course unglued. We were also suggested to take a memory foam mattress, the thing is very uncomfortable, not worth the extra money at all. It's been now three months and we still waiting on a resolution. I believe the worst part is that the after sales are not handled by the store. I'm this close to just go dump the thing in front of the store. Bad service and bad products.

Terrible Experience. It was the first time I bought on this store and I would not do it again. I bought a marbel coffee table that was on exhibition they delivered it BROKEN and they said it was like that and I MOST PROBABLY didn't see it. They don't understand the client needs at all. Each time I called to the costumer service they were supposed to called me back which never happened. I end up going to to store and the only solution was a credit to spend with them. I am sure you can find something nice somewhere else for the same prices and not broken.

We went in and saw two bed sets we wanted to buy. Ready for purchase today. No sales reps even acknowledged us. They all stood together and talked. One girl came by to fix a bed sheet and left. Not even a hello.

I had to wait months for my couch and ottoman. add in about 15 calls about 2 hours lost in being transferred, kept on hold and having to re-explain my situation to so many people. I finally get my delivery date set (for the 2nd time because I was told a date that wasn't respected) then the day I'm to receive my couch I get an email that stipulates that my ottoman is back ordered (when I was told it was in stock) then I have to repeat the numerous calls and run arounds to figure out when I can have it delivered, I was told a date my item would be in and that I needed to call back and I did, when doing so I was AGAIN told that it hasn't come in yet. In the end I had to physically go and pick it up myself, which is fine because in doing so I would save a wait of 5 business days. I get my parcel and once I open the box the ottoman was filled with rips and masking tape that was directly put on the leather material!

0 stars wouldn't even be sufficient! Quick to provide service when coming to taking your money, all the questions I had were answered, the second you leave the store NOTHING BUT A HEADACHE AND DAMAGED GOODS.

I had purchased 5 major appliances from Economax back in Nov 2020. I was told that everything would be in stock for my move date at the end of Dec 2020, not to worry.I am currently still without a fridge. It's now 6 months and they refuse to offer any kind of compensation or even a loaner fridge for the interim. The replacement fridges they offered were not the measurements I required. It is impossible to get in touch with anyone! There is no direct number after purchase. After asking my salesperson Alexis Drouin to speak to management, not once did the manager,  Karine Baillencourt, reach out to me. I finally was able to get in touch with her today and basically she couldn't care less. I cancelled this order and got a refund! I have now purchased a second hand fridge.

I took the pandemic into consideration and was very patient but their lack of professionalism and empathy is unacceptable! I'm completely shocked they are able to get away with doing this to customers. Please do not purchase anything from this store unless it is in stock! They will lie and tell you everything you want to hear. If you're looking to save some money, keep in mind their prices are cheap for a reason! I DO NOT recommend Economax in St-Hubert! They do not care about their customers after they make a sale. Save your money and energy and go anywhere else!

The worst customer service ever, the employees give different information all the time, they're not really empathic given the situation, the customer service for online order is not even able to handle the calls and you get hung up. You write to them and do not get follow up at all. Ask to verify something for you they don't even try and they just say we can't because is another department, when someone already helped another day, so it is weird that one day you can help but now not anymore. They should review their procedure and train better their employees at the stores.

UPDATE DEC 21 2021. I still try to get repairs when i pass by nearby the store. In the last year since i posted this i have been at least 3 times regarding this issue. They are still understaffed and somewhat vexxed once they find out you are not there to purchase anything. Their attitudes' still short despite me biting my tongue when actual anger would have been warranted a long time ago.

Every single time they say they cannot do anything to help you and that you MUST call their after service department. They assure you you will be helped (good old run around tactics...)I am now convinced the after-service department is non-existent. Never any answer, never any replies to messages or emails and literally no sign of life from them to indicate they in fact are a real functioning department let alone a viable solution to any problem you might have.

I ended up finding my own upholsterer for my initial problem; however, i now need a mechanical repair which sent me back and NO ONE can help me. The part i am looking to repair MYSELF seems to be sold out everywhere online so i am now obligated to deal with the store (AS PER THE LAY Z BOY WEBSITE). I spent thousands on these couches after hearing from anyone and everyone that la z boy has amazing service and support if you ever needed it so i am baffled and the experience i am facing.

Let's see if 2022 brings more luck on this issue.

Worthless is not an insult but the most accurate word i can find to describe the Lay z boy department. After service is poor and they lack the competences or desire to be helpful and they bring no value to the purchase; in fact they devalue the experience and borderline make you regret the purchase. Managers have proven difficult and unpleasant to deal with due to poor attitudes, they just feel worn down by circumstances...I got a new home to furnish shortly but they have fallen short every chance they got and the bar was set so low to begin with lol. I will not be buying here unless they got something i can't find elsewhere.

I am writing this review to warn others, not to be bitter or unappreciative. I understand this is a difficult time for all people and business.

After purchasing a few main appliances from here, I can confidently warn you to stay clear unless you are leaving this store with your items in hand. The items are not what I am unsatisfied about, but their service is one of the worst that I have ever experienced. I understand that they are not business as usual considering the pandemic, but they have zero empathy or professionalism. At first, they refused to deliver any essential appliances to me considering they were floor models - if the stores didn’t open then I would be without a fridge and stove until they do open. Economax told me to simply buy new ones at full price without including my already negotiated protection in the new items... then one item arrived rather damaged & I went to the store in person to take care of this. The store sales manager was rather helpful and offered an exchange for the exact same model (since they had one on the floor again) and I accepted even though I knew it was too good to be true with my experience with them. I didn’t hear anything for two weeks for the delivery, so I reach out once again and I was told that I did not accept an exchange, rather I accepted compensation? Which I am sure would be pennies from them nonetheless. With this being said, I had to speak to a few people but was finally told that they are not doing exchanges during the pandemic, which I completely understand but this could have been communicated to me during my conversation with the manager of sales, I am unsure of how she was not aware of this herself. So I am now awaiting for an unknown date for the exchange to take place.

I must say, I appreciate all those working during a time like this. But Economax needs to also understand that this is a difficult time for their customers as well and must adapt to that. Rather than adding more stress.

CUSTOMERS BEWARE!!! I was sold a $1,400 king size bed frame as standard size on which no standard king size mattress fits. The 4 inch gap between the bed frame and mattress (see pictures) is a major liability as I get in and out of the bed. I trusted the sales lady and ended up being lied to. Overall I found the sales people to be aggressive and with minimal integrity. Senior manager of the store was no different to his staff. Once you part ways with your money you have no chance to change your mind (even if it’s the next day and you hadn’t received the item). Quality is substandard and does NOT reflect the money paid. I would highly recommend to stay far far away from this company!

UPDATE: Bed frame broke 3 years later. Threw it in the garbage. Cheap quality, super expensive price from the one and only JC crooks!!

I saw that they had an ottoman I was looking for on sale so I went to this store to see if it was in stock. I asked the lady at the cash register and she checked, which was great. But she also threw the swatch at me versus asking if I wanted to see the color and then hand it to me. Perhaps there was a communication issue but although I wanted the product, I wasn’t prepared to spend money with someone who came across as unnecessarily rude. Sucks. I liked the ottoman!

We bought this table one week ago and the table came with imprecations, we tried to talk to the manager of the store on ( st Bruno ) we payed 75$ for delivery and if we want to return the table they would not give us the money back, in this case we would loose the 75 $ we paid and buy another table and pay that amount again, such a bad experience and it’s out first time buying a product on that store, first and last time.

If you buy anything on that store that has defect you will have to count your loses because they won’t do anything to help you.
