I totally disliked "Assassins" it wasn't the acting or the language. It was the entire script. I especially did not like when at one point the actors pointed their guns at the audience. Fake guns or not, it made me extremely uncomfortable. I have been attending plays at this theater since before Katrina and have never been disappointed. I cannot understand why ya'll chose this play

We went to see Assassins last night and it was wonderful. Acting was good, set was great, and the theater had a homey feel.
It's about a half hour from the French Quarter so getting there can be a challenge without a car, but worth it if the play looks interesting.

Very quaint with stupendous productions. Great actors. Parking is also a breeze! Watched "Assassins" and it was awesome!

Access to Rivertown Theaters for the Performing Arts was easy. Attendees to the play experienced a simple short block walk from the available parking lot in front of Gendusa's Italian Restaurant. Dinner was quite good. "Dinner and the thiata" was a goal easily accomplished.
The theater and available services were more than adequate for the hosted population. The staff was quite personable. They were more than willing to provide guidance and direction as well as answer any questions. I enjoyed the experience and would be more than willing to do it again.
The theater was full for
"Singing in the Rain." As far as I am concerned as an "unqualified" critic, I truly enjoyed the performance. Seating was adequate, though somewhat snug. Viewing angles were good. The size of the seating area was good for the dimensions of the stage. I don't believe there was a bad seat in the theater. Make plans to go but leave seats for my wife and I.

Enjoyed Newsies Friday night. It was difficult to hear with the woman behind me laughing. howling and clapping relentlessly during the performance. I came to see the performance, not her. She cackled and laughed at everything before the performers were even finished with their lines. I suspect she was a plant, but terribly annoying. She made sure the cast heard her every applause., hoot and laugh. How obnoxious.

Saw The Tree House Players Children show called Repunzel, and both the adults and children and I all LOVED it! So great to see an original musical at the theater :)

We luv this place. We enjoy supporting the Arts in our neighborhood. However, the play was very stick which I never cared for. I would gladly go to see another play but really didn't care for the one we went to. But I can't wait to see a different one.

Love the plays here! Always so entertaining! Seats are low and tight, though.

Great little theater to go see shows with local actors. It's pretty nice inside, comfy seats. They don't have all the fancy sets of the big theaters, but they do a darn good job with what they do have. We saw Frozen here and it was very entertaining. BTW, Ellie Bono as Anna was fabulous!

What a wonderful theater. On the small side, there isn't a bad seat in the house. I got a targeted Facebook ad for a local production of Matilda the Musical and decided to come. The actors were all amazing. Honestly, this was a better value for the money than a lot of other shows I've been to. I will be back to see other shows in the future. There is no dedicated parking lot. The restroom was clean and well stocked.

The ushers were kind and the theater was comfortable. Bathrooms in venues like this are what help me decide the level of cleanliness. The theater and the bathroom was clean and didn't smell bad. I was pleased and comfortable as a result.
The show was phenomenal! I cried so many times because the actress, Chloé Johnson evoked emotion from Sally Bowles like no other. She made you want to call Sally and offer her a shoulder to cry on, a room to stay in, and a heart to rely on...I think Liza Minelli would be impressed. Did I mention that this Sally was a barrier-breaking beautiful African American Goddess? I'm sorry you missed it. It was worth every mile that I traveled to see it. If I had the chance, I would watch it a second time.
