Dan is usually my favorite bartender. But Brooke pulled a close second w the service. Gorgeous inside and out. Excellent food and drink. Over the top service. 10* if possible! I will be back ❤️

Had a great birthday dinner at Treehouse. The waitress was so kind and explained everything in detail. She really made sure I enjoyed my birthday! I loved the squash curry soup and the oysters of course. The drinks were divine and the area was very cute. Super close walk to parking area and other restaurants/bakeries/ shops. Loved it here, can’t wait to return for another oyster flight!

We came here for brunch and loved it! I had a selection of local oyster and clams which were delicious. The server was very knowledgeable and was able to recommend me which ones to choose. Since the clam I wanted didn’t come in yet, I got a free extra clam of the other kind which I really appreciated! The rest of the food was very good as well. We had the burger, the French toast and the eggs Benedict and enjoyed it all! The service was truly excellent and we really enjoyed our brunch. We will be back!

This place was highly recommended for our trip to Mystic and we were so pleased. We started with raw oysters and clam chowder. We shared the beef empanadas which were crispy and ordered the carrots, followed by the monk fish dish which was perfection! The chocolate mousse dessert was such a nice finish, this was a great gastronomic experience!!!

Saw the jiggly video for this dish, and had to post our own. Great atmosphere, excellent service, and fun vibe!

Good food. Good atmosphere. Service just eh.

Clam chowder was unique and very peppery. Definitely get that. The beets were also surprisingly fantastic. My wife’s lobster carbonara was great. The lobster itself was just ok but the pasta was fresh and homemade.

Service could be a bit better though. Felt ignored at times.

Tip: make a reservation. Also if you’re driving the lot next door is jam packed on weekends.

Take it from a native New Yorker that this place is absolutely incredible. I'm not really sure why I'm seeing some fairly negative reviews as I come from a place where there are lots of terrible restaurants, and this is definitely not one of them. It's arguably one of the best restaurants I've been to in a very long time. The quality is always top-notch as well as the service. I really have nothing negative to say about this place. I highly recommend coming here and taking advantage of the happy hour specials, especially the oysters and the half-price cocktails.

I recently visited Rocks 21, and while the food was just okay, with very fishy fish and chips and clam strips that were mostly batter, the atmosphere made up for it. Once the first performer, whose songs had excessive cussing, left, the place really improved. However, the server kept forgetting to bring out our drinks, which was frustrating. The band that played afterward was amazing and brought great energy. It's a fantastic spot for happy hour or late-night live music, but I wouldn't return for dinner.
We sat outside which was nice. Food was okay. The Chili was great but that was about all there is too go for. Seats were not comfortable at all. Had the specialty tacos which were pretty good. Other orders included fries, but we were served two different types of fries. We had food missing, and when we asked for it, didnt get it until we were leaving. We asked to get ketchup as it did not come with one of the fries, and the waiter gave it to another family who hadn't even ordered their food yet. Very Rookie mistake. Will not be back.

Place was an epic fail on multiple fronts. Menu online said they had tacos but was told they haven’t had tacos in a long time. The reverse happy hour says everyday but was told it is only weekdays. The manager came down with an attitude and couldn’t be bothered with me seeing as she had a private event going on upstairs. After waving me off she told the bartender to give me money from her tips. Ugh what a mess. Didn’t take it the money and still tipped for the beer

Great happy hour! Stopped for some apps with my family. The Thai wings had a yummy sauce. My husband and teen had the pretzel and nachos, which they enjoyed. The portions were good considering the cheaper price for the apps. I had a margarita which was made perfectly in my opinion. Often I pay a lot more for margaritas that are made too weak or way too strong, so I really appreciate it when they make it with a perfect balance. The view was spectacular, which made it even more enjoyable. The waitress was very friendly, attentive, and helpful as well, especially when I had questions about gluten and dairy free items.

Was so happy to find this place! The restaurant is amazing, SOOO many dining spaces from multi-level rooms to multi-level decks and gorgeous views of the seaside! The wait staff was very attentive and the food was so delicious! (The restaurant is an amazing bonus for the hotel which has other great leasure amenities like pool, basketball court, corn hole, etc.)

Beautiful view on the deck. Had the sweetest very attentive staff. Food was absolutely delish. Tried the swordfish that had a Frangelico cream sauce which I never like sauce on fish...I completely devoured it it was so unique and tasty without overpowering the dish. The flatbread with peaches & prosciutto and the coconut shrimp were perfectly made. The frozen mudslide was so good. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
Absolutely delicious tacos. I highly recommend the swordfish taco. The plantain taco is unique, with a slightly sweet taste. This is a great place to sit outside and grab a bite to eat while enjoying downtown mystic.

A great option in Mystic.

We went for an early dinner and were able to accommodate us with a baby. We ordered the fried monkfish, halibut, carrots, cornbread, and oysters rockefeller. The entrees were decent but both felt like they were missing something. We liked the appetizers much more - with the best dish being the carrots!

I love this place! I’ve come here a few times but this is the first review I’ve done. I got the arugula Summer salad, and I cannot recommend it enough, it was absolutely delicious! We also tried the crab cakes, I only had a small piece so it might not have been the case for the entire crab cake but I did not get much crab meat, so that was a bit disappointing, but otherwise it was great! Great service and food, highly recommend stopping by!

A lovely tree house with beautiful views and phenomenal food, Doesn't get better than that! The burger melts in your mouth, the baked oysters were new to me and surprisingly delicious with the baked bread crumps on top 😋 . Yes, this is a lovely jem in Conecticut that you should try!

Dined at Oyster Club for the first time and it didn't disappoint. The burger was mouthwateringly delicious, but the real star? The butter cake. It was so good it knocked my socks off! You've got to try it. I'm already planning my next visit.

Packed lil pub. Had a fun time. Drinks and service were fun, but the food was not too great but we didn't really order anything from special. Definitely going to give the food another try with a more substantial order.

This was a fantastic meal! The environment is just perfect, as we ate outside on the first lovely day of the year. I had the Swordfish schnitzel and it was surprisingly delicious! The fish and chips are not English style, but more breaded than battered, but they were tasty.
The beer selection is eclectic and covers most palates. The cocktail and spirit selection is enviable and I can't wait to go back and try them all out!

I would have to say the overall visit today was quite mediocre. We have visited before and was quite impressed. So being in the area, we decided to stop by for a quick lunch. There was no wait for a table which was great. However once we sat down, another table for two was seated with 3 people. One of the people’s back was basically against our table. While one of the workers eventually noticed and asked if we were okay. I mean we were okay, and didn’t want to move given that our food had already been served and we were eating already. But I definitely was not comfortable especially given that the other party constantly felt the need to get up and visit another table. And so each time they got up they were knocking into our table and basically in our space. I don’t think this type of seating arrangement should’ve ever happened.

Our server seemed less than thrilled to be there, but overall she was fine. It was a busy day given the St Patrick’s day festivities.

The food was okay. The Cheddar Irish soda bread was very good. However the French fries looked like they were fried in really old oil and most of them were these tiny broken pieces and were soggy. There was no crisp to the fries at all. The fried fish was good and so was the corned beef sandwich.

Stopped in around 2:00 for a late lunch. No staff was visible other than an agitated-looking woman behind the bar. After a few minutes of waiting by the entrance we moved toward a table that hadn’t been cleared so my elderly mother in law could sit down. A customer came over to help clear the table and the waitress appeared. She was obviously overwhelmed, irritated that we were seated, snarled at the customer “don’t seat anyone else” and then walked away without a word to us. It was clear we were not welcome, so we left and will never return.

I went with friends on a Friday morning for brunch but they said they only offer brunch on Sundays, so we stayed for lunch instead.

We got seated relatively quickly. The food overall was just okay and service was a bit slow. Took a long time for our food to be served. The coffee was bitter and they didn't have English breakfast (black tea) for their tea selection. The waitress was friendly and the atmosphere was nice.

What we ordered:
Chicken Melt
Mushroom Mae Burger
Chipotle Chicken Sandwich

During a quiet Friday afternoon, my friend and I enjoyed a relaxed visit to the Engine Room, sampling a fine selection of IPAs at the bar. The venue’s cozy blend of industrial and modern vibes set the perfect tone. We kicked off with the cowboy dip, a spicy and creamy delight, paired with the crispest tortilla chips - highly recommended. I then savored a chicken sandwich with pickles and bib lettuce, a savory masterpiece. Our experience was nothing short of delightful, and we’re already planning to return for more culinary explorations. The Engine Room’s inviting atmosphere and tempting menu have us hooked.

Fun happy hour, but really just 1/2 sized portions for 1/2 price. The food is really good and the place is clean. Very relaxing environment. Our server seemed to not like us but every other staff member was perfectly friendly.

My son found this place. We were in the area for a sporting event. He is playing and he needs the pick what he wants. Minimizes complaints...

We had to park and walk which is a good sign. Staff was nice. We were seated immediately. We choose the sun room. Was nice. A little cold when the door was opened.

Meal was good we both had a spicy fried chicken sandwich with fries. Good meal. Pickle was okay. Meal is messy but good.

Crowd seemed nice.

Great atmosphere, and rich with history (which they have written on one of the walls). We stopped in for brunch, and ordered the bananas foster French toast, which was good, but what really blew us away was the bagel we got with lox and cream cheese. As a New Yorker, it’s pretty hard to impress me with a bagel, but these were outstanding. After our meal, we tried to get some to take with us to bring home to family and friends, but were told they only make a dozen or two unless you order them specifically in advance, which I suggest you do. Trust me. Good service, and decent Bloody Mary.
It's the ultimate place ever !! Good is so good. Bartenders are so friendly with every one. They make you feel welcome. They enjoy having conversations with the patrons. The atmosphere is warm.

Overall great place that we would happily go back to. Couple of pointers:

1) the mussels are awesome - get them
2) the chipotle chicken and the pulled pork are their best sandwiches, and even the the burger is good, those are even better
3) always make a reservation - they are busy
4) the amber ale and the scotch ale are fantastic. The scotch ale is kind of like a brown ale with some spices in it... Not sure how else to explain it

Had a great and easy dinner at Taquerio. Had chips and Queso to start. Questions needed a bit of hot sauce to get some flavor. Margaritas were spot on. I went with the classic, and my partner went for the spicy. Both are delicious. I had the pastor, fried avocado, and civiche tacos. Pastor was on point, civiche was so good, and the fried avocado was my favorite. My partner had the fish, oyster poboy, and the Barbacoa. She loved the fish taco but thought the oyster felt a bit fishy. Overall, a must visit.

Cool vibes. Tacos were great. Salsa was incredible. Drinks were tasty.

Service was a little slow, and online ordering wouldn’t work with poor cell signal ( a Verizon problem, not restaurant problem) but otherwise great.

A casual, cool vibe Taqueria that delivers very good taco’s and great Margaritas. We had the Carnitas, the Barbacoa, the Pollo Verde and the Fish tacos. I will admit that none were what I would call near hot and I like my food hot, however they tasted very good. The Spicy Margaritas we had were addictive. Great spot for a quick bite, our food came within minutes of ordering, as matter of fact, a full 5-7 minutes prior to getting our drinks. I would definitely return

What an interesting place this is! It used to be a gas station… now, it’s an amazing taco spot. The tacos were delicious. Incredible vibes from the staff. The tacos don’t come with lemon on the side which was unexpected. Unfortunately we had to bother the waitress which seem busy. They have some interesting tacos. Overall I had a great time with my girl.

It was our first time trying out Rock 21. We sat outside, stunning views. There was live music on which we weren’t aware of, it was a pleasant surprise. The waitress Carolina misheard us when we ordered two mocktails “gunners” and bought out two “Guinness beers” instead. I felt we were rushed at the end. Our table was booked for 1.5hours. The bill came out before we had even finished our mains. Despite these minor disappointments, the food was amazing! We shared a pretzel with cheese as a starter. I was really impressed by the presentation. The waitress was attentive and brought out more cheese sauce when requested. Soon after, the mains came out. We ordered pork ribs and a rock 21 beef burger. The portions are huge. The toilets /restrooms were okay, but it’s a maze to find them. I suggest perhaps put out little signs to show where they are. There’s outdoor parking and outdoor games. Overall it was a great experience and will definitely come back again.

Not a chain, local place that's frankly AWESOME! Grabbed some tacos, and chips and salsa and they were good. Love the vibe in the place, the converted service station is such a cool play. If you're looking for a good beer selection, tacos and a local place, I highly recommend! Good customer service as well.

A classic dive bar… the drinks were strong but it was around 3:00 PM so maybe three others at the bar. The other (local?) clientele clearly were familiar with one another and I sense that energy may not be compatible with all people.

Worth a try if you’re feeling adventurous and want to play the jukebox. Could be fun for a night cap?

We arrived here with a small wedding party (day before wedding with12 people) and we were able to secure the outside long table under the original pump shed. We were greeted by a welcoming staff person. People ordered their own set of tacos and drinks. Food was amazing, I had barbacoa taco and oyster po boy taco.
Crisp with lots of veggie stuffers and delectable sauces. Others in the party enjoyed the variety of offerings. The Taquerio is a must see!

This is a magnificent bar with a tremendous atmosphere. When my husband and I visited, they had an amazing jazz band playing wonderful music.
The actual bar is gorgeous, and the drinks are like nothing I have ever tasted before. They are so unique, and the young lady bartender is charming and extremely friendly and knowledgeable. You really must visit Dive bar when you get the chance. It is truly unique.
The Harp and Hound is a great pub tucked around the corner on the main street in Mystic. Just as you're ready to collapse from the endless shops, you'll find traditional pub favorite food, cold beer, and lively entertainment. The bartender greeted us, made us two delicious bloodies, and we knew we'd be back. Everyone was friendly, and the food looked delicious.

This place is sooo good. It's super cute and the staff was so friendly. Went with two friends and truly couldn't decide on which tacos. Ordered a round of margs and chips with tasty salsa while we debated. We also ordered queso and that was the only part of the meal that could be improved. But once the tacos came we forgot all about it. We ordered a few and they came out fast and then we ordered another round! I loved the shrimp taco and the mushroom taco. The plantain taco is definitely worth trying. My friends had the fish, pollo Verde, and fried avocado. We finished the night with churros. If you're in the Mystic area and want some excellent tacos and margaritas at a cute place don't hesitate!

Curry Barbados is to die for!!! The beer selection was also amazing, I really enjoyed their Amber & Pilsner on tap. Will be back!
I love this little pub.
It's quiet, quaint and just downright fun.
Stop in for a quiet pint and a bite to nosh on - tons of options for pub fare.
Lots of on tap options as well as bottles. Limited wine menu but a decent liquor selection.
Seating is spaced out but limited and the bar is small. The perfect place to cozy up and read a book by the fire, or break into song with a Sea Shanty and some Salty Dogs!

Great casual place. It's below a nice restaurant, so you can use this bar whilst you wait for your resy. Good selection of craft beers, board games, cards, shuffleboard, video
game table. Couple of cats playing guitar tonight. Get the ham cheesy bread app! Whoa! I went back and got the Hawaiian Pork Musubi. Never had anything like it, but it's good! That's the wasabi foam jiggling in the video.

A fantastic locals hangout with great service. The Black and Blue Burger was yummy and a nice selection of draft beer.
Fun, cool, place a 1/4 block from main street but seemly miles from the daytime crowds.
