The place is overrated. The view until dusk is beautiful, but after that it's nothing special. The beer was hot, service was slow. It took thirty minutes to be served. Prices are high, very high. Don’t fire your money.
No signage at street level so it was difficult to find. A long wait where people who arrived after us got in before us. Once in, the service was average, the drinks did not taste strong, the dj set was very loud. The view was great. I wouldn't bother returning.

The place is really good!! I think so far it is the best view for a rooftop in Buenos Aires, there was a part that it did not have a good smell, but the staff is super friendly they can recommend you stuff in case you are doubtful, it is better if you have a reservation to go, the bar opens at 18:00 hs so in case you don't have it please be there early, I will totally come back here
Fomos muito bem atendidos, drink chegaram em tempo e bem feitos. Destaque para vista da piscina e as azeitonas, que estavam maravilhosas. O pôr do sol ficou um ambiente gostoso. Pedi um Dry Martini, o destaque foi a azeitona no drink tbm.
Mi visita al Pool Bar fue completamente decepcionante. Desde el inicio, esperé más de 20 minutos para recibir el menú, a pesar de haber solicitado atención varias veces. La falta de organización y la clara confusión del personal, compuesto por lo que parecían ser "LIFEGUARDS", hizo que mi experiencia fuera frustrante desde el principio.
El punto crítico llegó cuando esperé durante 40 largos minutos por un café y un tostón de hummus, solo para presenciar un cambio de personal que impactó negativamente en la calidad del servicio y la amabilidad hacia los clientes. La actitud poco amable de la nueva camarera solo agravó mi decepción.
Aunque el café y el hummus estuvieron aceptables, la falta de disfrute debido al pobre servicio y la actitud del personal fue inaceptable en un establecimiento de esta categoría. Es imperativo que se tomen medidas para mejorar la eficiencia del servicio y la actitud del personal para garantizar experiencias más satisfactorias a los clientes. Además, es lamentable constatar que el hotel Faena ya no es lo que era antes en términos de calidad y servicio.

Great views! Try to make reservation, or else it’s hard to get a table or even enter. We arrived 10min before they opened (6pm) without reservation. They told us we could stand in line outside and we would enter, but we were told we couldn’t seat in any area as all seated areas were for reservations. They started letting reservations enter first, and around 15min later they started allowing access to everyone else on the “no reservations” line. Once we entered we saw many available seats, but they told us we couldn’t seat until 6:45pm (which must have been their limit for any other person who had reservations). So we had to stand and order our drinks directly at the bar…. & Finally after 6:45pm everybody without table was able to look for a free table or seating area, and simply seat and stay there! (The process was a bit of a hassle with all the specific waiting times and so on… but well, I assume if you have a reservation it must be hassle free). All in all, we had a good time! We were able to find a great table, with an awesome view, and had a wonderful time! Drinks were good! And once we were seated we could order drinks to a waiter, and service was good. Drinks were also quite affordable. (You expect a Skybar like this to be overpriced, but it was a nice surprise to see average normal drinks prices here)

Had a lomito Tolon. I would have expected smoother bread as it was very hard to cut with the knife. Apart from that, it was nice. The waitress was not too good or sympathetic.

Everything about this place is perfect; the service, they play great music, the environment and most amazing things; the view and the food! Omg. They also have signature cocktails, I ordered “Good girl, Carolina Herrera” and I swear smells just like the perfume, and the flavor was so good.

Lovely quaint hotel on the large avenue leading to the Congress building.
Breakfast is good as well.
Rooms are not as big but they are comfortable and also the water pressure is great.

They take advantage of tourists! DO NOT RECOMMEND. We went with a group of 7 and they screwed us over by 13.500 pesos (20usd). They have a policy where you have to consume 1 plate per person, which I can understand, but they had us think that an entree (a plate of 3 empanadas) counted for two people. So we got 4 of these plates. At no point did they come to offer more plates or let us know that we were short 3 plates. Keep in mind we are tourists. So when our friend paid, we realize that they charged an extra 3 entrees, which we never received or consumed. Naturally, we ask if we can receive the remaining empanadas that we paid for, but suddenly the kitchen was closed. They could have in good faith let us consume anything else, dessert or even drinks, since we clearly went for the drinks, anything to make up for that extra charge which did not correspond to us. But they said there was nothing they could do to accommodate for us, since we had already paid. They made no effort to satisfy the customer. We would have paid an extra 20 bucks in tip, but they distastefully screwed us over.
I also want to add that we were thoroughly disappointed with the environment and the drinks. We expected a lot more from a supposedly fancy restaurant. You just pay for the view. We recommend checking out other sky bars. This one is overhyped and will screw over tourists if you give them a chance.
I will be leaving a review about this place in other tourist facebook groups to hopefully warn others of this scam, so they can avoid this place at all cost.

Bastante agradable el lugar, buena atención. La comida rica, los precios un poco excedidos. Destaco que tiene rampa para acceder a los baños (están más arriba) y al sector elevado.
Comfortable and stylish, this hotel is located in a refurbished old building in downtown Buenos Aires. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, and they have great views. The bathroom was also spacious, and the water pressure was notoriously good (worth mentioning!)

There's a rooftop bar in the hotel that's closed during autumn and winter. However, guests can still access the area and spend time there admiring the great views from the neighboring buildings and the amazing Avenida de Mayo.
Last but not least, the staff were always genuinely friendly and willing to help at all times. This was certainly the cherry on the cake of our great experience at this hotel.

To keep it simple, this place is amazing. The food was amazing. The chicken and steak were more than scrumptious. The drinks were amazing. Views were amazing. Only drawback (if you could call it that) was the service. The servers weren’t as attentive as we expected them to be, but when they did visit our table, they were very nice. I personally would suggest getting dinner on the 19th or 20th floor then visiting the rooftop for a drink after (which is what we did). Overall this place is definitely worth the price you pay.
It is a very nice hotel with nice rooms. Be careful not to get a room at the 1st floor because it can get very noisy.

Me cobraron $1800 un sanguche de pollo y rucula que estaba rancio, pedí la devolución del dinero y me la negaron 3 veces. Termine aceptando por cansancio un sanguche de jamón y queso por el mismo valor!!! Una locura, 0 respeto al consumidor. No vuelvo mas y no recomiendo q vayan si no quieren intoxicarse

It’s a cool rooftop with fantastic views of the city. They have delicious drinks and the service was friendly. A nice place for drinks before or after dinner. They also have a Dj playing upbeat music.

Amazing sky bar with incredible 360° views. It's a must visit when in Buenos Aires! The cocktails were really well prepared. Highly recommend!

A con about the seating was that the table wad paired with a stool and a sofa. The stool and sofa were not at the same height and I found myself considerably lower at the table compared to those seated on the stool. It felt odd.
The ambience and music was romantic, fun and overall excellent although I wish the played some traditional Spanish music as well to mix it up.
The food was delicious. I ordered the thai mushroom skewers for appetizer and vegan sushi Platter. I paired it with a virgin mojito. Everything was delicious. My husband ordered the risotto with shrimp and a mocktail. The shrimp was delicious and cooked to perfection, however, the risotto was not to our taste. He found it too creamy and unable to finish it. He will not order it again.

Is one of those roof tops to visit at Buenos Aires, with good cocktails, and very nice ambient. The the menu has not much options and the food was not the best but acceptable. Prices are according. Good service. You need to have a reservation to have dinner at the resto on the 19th floor while the bar is first arrive first in.

We were staying at Hotel Tango de Mayo and had happy hour (drinks and appetizers) during sunset. The view at the rooftop bar was beautiful. We couldn’t see the sunset because the building next door was blocking it. There were two drinks for the price of one. Our mixed drinks were not strong like it didn’t have much alcohol. It is still worth going for the ambience, view, and service.
The people that work at this stunning hotel really add to its appeal. The morning staff in the breakfast room are welcoming and helpful. The food is well stocked and the staff are busy making sure everything is spot on.

I stayed at this hotel in 2014, shortly after it opened, and wow! The room was beautiful, with a mix of antique and modern furnishings, floor-to-ceiling iron windows, and efficient heating. I always remember that week with great pleasure. The staff was very welcoming, and the breakfast was diverse and nutritious. I believe that the rooftop was still in progress because there wasn't anything there, but the view was astonishing. Additionally, the hotel was conveniently located close to all the major tourist attractions, including the Casa Rosada and the Congress building. I hope to return someday!
Went hete for a beer and cocktail. The place was pretty calm and the view was pretty. The cocktail I had, Cubano mojito, was a bit weak holding more sugar and ice cubes than alcohol for the price of 1600 pesos.

The view of Buenos Aires from Olympo Skybar is spectacular. Watching the sunset is something you must enjoy at Olympo.

A bar notable in the City. There are a few. Nice place with lovely service. Coffee was super biter and the medialunas were underdone for grasa. It was ok. But expensive for what it was

Very classy, beautiful, historic hotel. It's the kind of hotel where staying in your room and soaking up its atmosphere becomes part of experiencing the city, and we would be very happy to come back. The staff was exceptionally nice, especially at breakfast - where they will hand-make great espresso based drinks such as a spectacular cappuccino served in a champagne glass.

It was a really cold afternoon. As soon as you enter, the host of the rooftop points to a table that has no nearby heating system whatsoever. I asked her to please locate us close to one that did have any heating nearby.
She said that everything was fully booked (which was a lie, since the rooftop never got full).
I found her tremendously disrespectful and her tone was questionable to say the least.
Sushi is delicious. Drinks are really good, strongly recommend the Three White Soldiers one.
Music was a bit loud for a conversation but nothing too bad.
A thing that disappointed me was the fact that heating lamps were turned on only half the way. Considering it a pricy place, they shouldn't be treating customers with such a bad service.
You should never book on the rooftop while it's winter.
There are far better options in this city, not giving 1 star because the quality of the food and drinks were at least deserving of mention.

After walking for several hours with my wife in downtown Buenos Aires we decided to look for an old style restaurant for a late lunch.
By chance we ended up at the Colonial Cafe.
We were really hungry so we ordered a Milanesa Napolitana for each of us.
What a surprise when we received them ,they where huge !! The size of the dish.
Besides the XXL size they where delicious, the best that I had during my last trip to Buenos Aires.
I totally recommend this restaurant, food was great and the price ok.

I had an afternoon coffee break, I order for a “merienda” for two. Everything was delicious but extremely sweet. I ordered a mango juice that was extremely sweetened and I could barely drink it.

The only thing I would say is you really need to book a seat by the bar that surrounds the place otherwise you're not going to see the view. I mean.. If they had glass railings and surrounds.. But hey it was nice, 4 stars

Fuimos con mi amiga al pool bar. El lugar es lindo pero nada del otro mundo. Si consumís podés ir sin necesidad de estar alojado. Pero cuidado, porque eso no te habilita para entrar a la pileta. Si te gusta ir a ver a los huéspedes usando la pileta mientras vos tomás algo que te sale dos veces más caro que en otro lugar, se los recomiendo.

Alojarme en el faena y disfrutar de sus restaurantes ha sido sin duda una de las mejores experiencias en Buenos Aires, el servicio es excelente y los mozos son muy serviciales, si estás en Buenos Aires este lugar es un must! Sin duda volveré en mi próxima visita a Buenos Aires

Increible la comida, las salsitas , las entradas. El pan casero espectacular y a super buen precio. Muy linda ambientación y atendido por sus dueños lo que para mi siempre es un plus.
Otra cosa es genial que podes estacionar en la puerta porque siempre hay muchísimo lugar aunque mirándolo porque a veces pasa la grua.

Muy lindo bar ubicado dentro del hotel Faena. La ambientación está muy buena, al igual que la comida. Lo único que sentí que se quedó un poco corto eran los tragos, los cuales tenían mucho hielo para mi gusto. Sin embargo estaban ricos!

Un lugar ameno, clásico, bien atendido, con buenos precios y comida rápida y al paso.
Es un clasico bar de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires !! Hace casi 25 años que por distintas razones cuando estoy cerca paso por un cafe con medialunas !!! Tiene buena cocina, muy buen trato con el cliente de parte del camarero. Es muy luminoso, ideal para trabajar con PC. Si fumas tiene mesas afuera sobre Av Belgrano
