Hello good day would like to share our feedback regarding to the service that we encountered today at Medical City Gateway. 2 and a half hours waiting for the Injection. Really ?? What kind of services is this ? knowing that this is urgent. We drop by here and registered at 3pm then we go out almost 6pm. Take note there are no patients in line, also not a peak hours. So disappointed in this branch, Just sharing this for awareness. How inconvenient this clinic is.

Horrible staff. They hand out queue numbers and call them out but there will obviously a lot of times that the clinic will be full so they set up chairs outside. You would expect that they will make accomodations so that people outside the clinic will be able to hear when numbers are called - they do not. They expect you to crowd the inside of the clinic just so you can hear when they call the queue. When you miss your number because you were outside and could not hear it, the staff at the reception will be awfully rude, " kanina pa kayo tinatawag eh."

Poor customer service, not all staff but there is particular women at reception that do not really care about customers time, effort and non-approachable. Please do include feedback box on site so we can provide feedback on the employee.

I recently had a 2D echo done, and the staff was highly professional, friendly, and attentive. They made me feel comfortable throughout the procedure, and the results were promptly explained by the skilled and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommended!

Medical City sucks. I thought at first maybe these people commenting bad about Medical City is just being mean. But upon experiencing how it feels to be in here having your follow up checks. And the said doctor that is available that time is still not to be seen. I've been waiting for hours and I haven't got a rest since I need to work for graveyard shift i need to rest. This is dissapointing. Bad service.

I must say that the staff is not approachable, the guard, the nurses at the lobby/frontdesk doesn't probably know the word "customer service". They don't have a sense of urgency. I went there at past 4 to consult to a gastroenterologist and the supposed schedule is 3-5pm. To my surprise, the guard told me that it was already past the cut-off time and the doctor had to leave early since she has somewhere to go. The nurse at the lobby saw me walk-in and didn't even bother to ask what I needed. I really won't recommend this clinic for the terrible experience.

Their ground level was newly renovated for a more convenient and inviting look.
I only come here if I need a quick medical check or Rx for some medicine to clear my ailments otherwise I’d rather go to a hospital’s ER nearby for a thorough check up.

In fairness to this establishment, although per previous reviews, they may have been noted as a 1 star place, I would say they have improved since then.
Came in for APE, and service from number giving to completion of 5 checkup points was completed competently and despite waiting, was okay with the wait.
Areas for Improvement:
- More seating area consideration
- For number of patients, ~30-50, add more medical personnel and doctors to accommodate if possible
- Advance Notice to patients in the clinic of cutoff periods so they can plan ahead.
Went on a Saturday.
Kudos for the effort of improvement.

Doctor was late in appointment, had to wait for an hour, and he didn't even bother checking the injury itself. Although it was only minor, I immediately went to the clinic for an urgent care/first aid but received none. And even after consultation, I received no treatment for the injury. Just a prescription based on what I think the injury is, adviced for x ray and that's it. So I had a second opinion from another clinic, and when they checked the swelling was so bad and asked why there's no first aid treatment applied 🤷♂️ Very unprofessional for Patient First. Eyes on the money only just because I have HMO and for the sake of "may masabi lang".

NOV 23-2023 - for seeing a doctor. Well first and last time id rather go main makati med or main med city ortigad. 1 internal med doctor for maybe 50 people. 4 hour wait. They Couldn't care less about the wait time people go through.
You would prefer an actual hospital rather than this air conditioned but sorry excuse for a medical facility if u want to see a doctor.
They explained all senior patients go first. Which is fine. But what if, ladies and gentlemen, there were 20-25 of these senior patients. What about the FACT that we would have to go and wait for ALL of them with ONE DOCTOR until OUR queue starts. I mean my god do i have to develop a disability to see a doctor here?!?!
Ill see about diagnostic tests that might be a faster experience

We had xray of the spine and it was poor clarity. Chiro doctor cannot see anything in the xray film. it was blurred no contrast at all. The xray room was filthy with the technician eating in there. Cashier not attentive. Poor service. waste of money. we need to retake the xray.

My son was sick for three days and he was able to walk to see doctors. Service person in front of the clinic didn’t want us to go in because I don’t have a mask. My son walk back and forth to lawson and to 7 eleven to buy a mask later the guard who replace tje person i spoken stated we can’t get in because there is no Pedia who can see my son. But they have a GP on site. To end tje story short the guard the knows it all stated GP wont see my son whatsoever. So he asked us to leave. What a bunch of loser, telling a nurse that GP can’t treat kids and that guard went inside and he didn’t care at all. Don’t deserve even 1 star.

The real shocker came when, after an hour of waiting, the nurses informed us that my mother's vaccine would have to be postponed until the next day. It was already 5 pm, and their reasoning was that they needed to close for the day. This is where my disappointment turned into frustration. Healthcare providers should prioritize the well-being of their patients, ensuring that they receive timely care. Patients, especially those who have been waiting for an extended period, should not be turned away simply because it's closing time.
Patient First's decision to make my mother go home without administering the vaccine she came for is not only unprofessional but also potentially dangerous. Tetanus vaccinations are crucial, and delaying them without a valid medical reason is a serious lapse in patient care.
In the end, my mother left the clinic without the vaccine she needed, and our trust in Patient First's ability to provide quality healthcare has been severely eroded. if you don't value your time waiting for doctors, this is the place. even if you call before going, expect that the doctor will not show up. nurse/staff are really good in apologizing. i cant imagine complaints they get in a day.

This branch is so far the most efficient and professional compared to Medical City’s other satellite clinics. I had several lab procedures and consultations last Friday. I came in with an approved LOA so the process was quicker for me.
Kudos to the male receptionist who was approachable, accommodating, and helpful given that he was serving several patients at once.
The OB and especially the Derma whom I consulted to where professional, punctual, and took time to answer your concerns and tend to you. Most of the staff, if not all, are also professional and approachable.
Only downside is it takes a looooong time for them to release the results - 2-3 days for simple blood chem and weeks for other tests. They should improve on how they release their results easily without the need for the patients to request for an online copy. I guess this applies to all their clinics.

Worst extension clinic of the medical city. Got there 8AM was told i was 3rd in line however my doctor starts clinic at 1pm and was told to go back. I went back but this time i waited so long before my name was called. Staff said that its not first come first serve. I have always had my check up in this clinic and they would usually priotise the first person on the list.

I’m from Texas and I don’t understand what priority or regular mean when they asked me. I said regular. I asked the other patient what do they mean priority he said senior. So I told the guy who gave me number and he gave me a Pnumber. The reception called different numbers instead of P number. My understanding if you are giving Priority numbers you should call them first. What’s the point of giving P numbers. Sorry

Do not come to this horrible clinic in Eastwood. Worst customer service. I was third in the queue but it took me 6 hours to see the doctor. A dozen patients were able to cut in line ahead of me due to the negligence of their staff. The doctors and nurses are rude.

Horrible experience. I arrived at the clinic at 11 AM for a consultation and was instructed to return at 3 PM to coincide with the doctor's schedule. However, the doctor's arrival was delayed until 4:45 PM. Despite my attempts to follow up with the nurses, they displayed a dismissive and unapproachable attitude. I endured the wait until nearly 7 PM, only to be informed that the doctor had already left. The staff claimed to have called my name multiple times and attempted to contact me via phone, which is a lie, as I remained seated right next to the nurse station. They then justified their oversight by suggesting I should have been seated near the OBGYN room, although no one had told me of this information. In summary, this experience was highly negative. I literally had a breakdown upon being informed that I had no other option but to return home and reschedule. I had rearranged my plans for the day to prioritize this appointment, and I had been awake for 26 hours. The purpose of clinics is to address people's medical concerns, yet the staff did not consider their patients' situations. It's unsurprising that their rating/review stands at 1.6.

I love it here. Will definitely recommend this clinic! Staff's are very accommodating, approachable and communicate with discretion. The clinic is neat and tidy, and can get chilly due to AC. I have cold intolerance, so if you are the same...it is best you bring something to keep you warm while waiting.

This clinic has gotten way worst than it already is...my mom went there to have another check up...lo and behold they said that they no longer have my mother's medical history. YES, they do not keep records of your medical history mind you the last time my mom went there was just 6 mos ago and they no longer have her result. What kind of clinic who doesn't keep records of their client...so no I do not recommend this clinic, added to this is their waiting time it'll take you hours to get checked even if you went there early all of the staff there are disorganized says different things everytime you asked them....so don't bother going to this clinic it's just a waste of time and money!!!!

Went to request a medical certificate. Guard told me to get a number and wait to be called. Was called about an hour later. Only for them to tell me they dont have any available doctors today. They could’ve posted an advisory or at least inform their guard so time is not wasted. Will not return

Dec 19, 2022, when I visited the medical center clinic and was attended by Dr. Candice Joy Esmino. I know this is a bit of a late review and thought I'd write for the sake of the clinic's reputation and not to tolerate doctors' behavior. Today I was not feeling well and the first medical clinic I thought of was The Medical City Clinic but then I remembered my bad experience with the Doc. Esmino. She was accusing me of faking my illness even with all medical laboratories proving that I am sick. She even said that I was only using my health card to seek free treatment. Reason for me not to trust your clinic in taking care of patients and choosing the right Doctor to trust and the ability for compassion. I shouldn't write this but I believe every feedback is a gift to learn and improve. Now I will go to another clinic even though I feel more comfortable going to The Medical City Clinic because you have all my health records. I wish this experience will not be repeated with other patients and will not be tolerated as I was almost doing in delaying this review.

Terrible service. Doctors are good here but the employee especially at the reception have attitude probolem. They never pick up calls. How can patient ask inquiries regarding doctors schedule you guys dont pick up calls. I hope the medical city clinic will hire better employees who can do their job

The clinic is closed when opening hours say it should be open, on top of that they say "appointment only" that is so unprofessional

A foreigner skipped the long queue and the guard just smiled and gave me "i can't do anything about it" look.
Website states "maxicare" accredited but receptionist said it's not.
Came in 11AM but they requested me to wait until 1PM due to doctor's availability.
Gave me a refund but asked for a receipt first. No receipts we're given at the first place. What the heck should I provide?

Went for an APE, started around 10am it was a saturday, process ended around 11am, although had to comeback around 1:30pm for physical examination.
I think it would be better if you went around 1pm, I guess. It might take you around an hour and a half to finish all the process if you go at that time.
For APE results you will have to wait 7-10 days, they will provide you their contact information.
The staff was nice and decent, it can get cold if you are wearing shorts and tshirt.
If you have a cough or covid like illness I heard that they don't let them in, so might want to try another clinic if you need to check for symptoms like that.
Overall good experience, if you went early you can roam around SM Cubao to pass time, which is just across the place and it has Starbucks nearby as well.

I took my wife for medical consultation because she has been having diarrhea for five days already and had fever a couple of days. She has been getting weaker which prompted us to go to this supposedly urgent care clinic. She tested negative for COVID using antigen home kit. However, she was declined to be seen by the doctor. Aren’t doctors have Hipocratic oath to see patients who needs medical attention? Oh, we do have the money to pay.

If I could give this a negative star review, I would. First, they never answer the phone and does not allow appt. So you go there in person but it takes a very long time for them to call your queue number just for you to hand your paper/insurance and get listed to a doctor. All the staff are lazy and won’t even take the time to verify your insurance so you have to pay out of pocket. There is no consideration or accommodation at all to persons with disabilities. Dra Sweney B. Retiro doesn’t give consultation discounts to those with PWID and the cashier only allowed Pwid discount when I firmly insisted the law on it. Masama ang loob nila sa 200php (equivalent of $4usd) na discount when I don’t even have to pay if only they were not too lazy to verify my medical insurance. Dra Retiro has no consideration at all to persons with disabilities eventhough I was there very early at 2pm, was seen almost 5pm coz she chooses which ones to go first, the ones that came in after me. Even if they Check the security cameras it’s all there so I have proof. No appt but doesn’t follow the first come first serve basis. When you call her attention to this lousy system and no consideration/law discount on pwds, deadma lang and walang kaconcern concern sa pasyente. She blames the staff and nurses but when I asked the staff and nurses to face her regarding her no consideration for persons with disabilities, she didn’t even refute them that she was the one who ordered them about it. Dishonest, unkind, unprofessional, and no compassion at all to persons with disabilities esp young children.

Staff are rude. Security guard was also rude. The company like Maxicare tied up and referred employees to their clinic. It seems that they are not happy catering APEs at this branch. We even overhead staffs "bakit ang dami nila."and the way the guard calls out the people is definitely inappropriate because he was shouting instead of asking politely.

No wonder that your rating is a picture of failure because of your poor service. I also experienced a very inconvenient service there. I went there for laboratory tests and was advised to come back after a couple of hours to get the lab results. I went back there and got the results but when I asked them who will read or interpret the findings to me they said that I need to have an appointment to doctor. Bad thing was I couldn't get an appointment on that day because the slots were already occupied. Receptionist told me to come back tomorrow hahaha. Ridiculous!!! Sad that I can't give you negative star 🌟

If you have scheduled flights its better to have your test at the airport at lesser price and hassle free (my experience) than the stress experienced with this clinic where the staff are so inefficient and system very deficient. UNRELIABLE.

My experience in Healthfirst Eastwood branch was horrible. The employees were nice although service was slow. I was scheduled at 8:30AM and I arrived a few minutes earlier for my appointment. When I got there, there were already a handful of people waiting because they also accepted walk-ins.
Despite my schedule, I waited for two hours before I got tested. I was swabbed past 10:30. The place was cramped and ventilation was bad as it was inside the ball. The process was very very slow as well since they were having issues with their system. If I didn't have COVID yet, I could've contracted it while I was in the clinic.
To minimize the time per patient, I suggest having a system where we can fill up necessary information on our own before the schedule. This is to minimize and avoid waiting time and patients can just walk in for the test and leave immediately.

First of all, the facilities for first screening is very inconvenient - its beside the road and with masks and face shields and vehicle noises, nurses and patients literally have to shout at each other to be heard. The waiting time is understandable but the nurses could be a little accommodating instead of giving instructions then turning their back right away. The one who extracted my blood is very sweet and nice so kudos to you, Nurse! The highlight of my bad experience is the DOCTOR, oh my god, the rudest doctor I've met to date. I felt like I was being interrogated by a police officer instead of a empathetic doctor. Only reason why I went to the clinic is because of the proximity. Its really disappointing that its also the worst clinic you'll ever go to.

I called yesterday around 2pm to book my swab test, super fast and easy transaction. I did booked and had the swab test done in the HF clinic Eastwood. Super SLOW SERVICE. I came in at 8am and was no.4 on the queue. I was accommodated only 45mins after considering were only 4 people! I did simple pre-employment requirements and obly ended AFTER 3 HOURS.

Was informed twice that they'll call my name when it's my turn but really, they didn't. The nurse was surprised to see that I was at the waiting area and nobody called my name when someone should have had. They also informed me to be back for my urinalysis result after 2 hours, or earlier. But when I got back after almost 3 hours, the results weren't there yet.

No line, clean and staff was accomodating. They had trouble having their HMOs approved but now they have a couple of covered HMOs. You can see the result of your tests online. Need some improvement plus marketing but everything else is okay.

Very incompetent staff, needs administrative training for staff as they are not very professional. I asked for a Certification that I am fit to work, they said that there is another payment on top of that. After paying, they handed me a handwritten form. I also asked if I can use my HMO card, the receptionist was discouraging and walked me through the tedious steps of using my HMO (coordinating with HR etc) so for her convenience, I opted to pay cash instead. The incompetence is beyond comprehension.

Nurse promised me that the result of my lab will be given a week after but I didn’t get it. He also said that he will just email it and I haven’t got the result of my lab in email. Please have a sense of urgency.
