Edit: I also wanted to say that this is the only office that was able to see me at a reasonable time. Every other office were scheduling 2 - 3 months out, which is unrealistic to me. Finally, don't let the other reviews scare you! If you treat the office staff friendly, I promise you'll see that they'll be friendly back.

Although I was hesitant to schedule here, the staff and doctors are friendly. They're responsive, communicative, and compassionate.

I'm currently working with Phuong Duong and I felt pretty comfortable telling her everything. She really listens and if you have a concern, she will address them professionally.

Excited to continue my health care journey here as my primary care!
While the doctor we have been seeing here is generally pretty helpful. He is only in-office a couple of days a week and we generally see the nurse Prac instead.

Recently my wife was diagnosed with a specific set of neurological disorders that are known to lead to comorbidities and autoimmune disorders - some of which she is exhibiting symptoms of. This was diagnosed by a well-known Primary care doctor who works with neurodivergent people in the area and we had documents outlining the diagnoses. When my wife asked for specific testing to see if these were a possible concern, he spent fifteen minutes googling reasons why they should not test for those things. This is our money and our insurance and if those things are covered or not covered frankly he should test for them - he works for us.

We will be finding a new primary care doctor and not be returning to this office.
I made an appointment earlier in the day for after work. I was able to do all of the paperwork from my phone. When I got to the building I was greeted kindly by a sweet lady. She let me know what the next steps were after making my copay. However, I did notice other people there weren’t having a great time and would snap at her. Those things she had no control over. I arrived an hour early for my appointment and I expected to wait for a while. I only waited about 30 minutes and then I was taken back to get my vitals. The nurse was super kind and listen to me. The doctor was in the room within minutes. She looked me over and told me a treatment plan. She asked if I agreed with that and of course I did. She was kind enough to tell me what to expect and how to handle the next steps in my treatment plan. I had to ask her though on the way out about the dozen signs hanging all over the place about how abuse of any kind will not be tolerated. She told me that more than half the people she treats are not kind to her. All of the staff are on edge all of the time. I felt so bad to hear this. All of them were super nice and kind. I hope that it gets better for them. It would be a shame if they had to close down.
I got in and out. Now that I know I have bronchitis I got the meds I need. The woman that checked me was super friendly and efficient ! Better then when I went to the Wesley minor care. They all have positive attitudes. And from this nurse right I love it.
Excellent facility! I was able to make an appointment and complete all paperwork prior to the visit. I was seen within 10 minutes of the time for the appointment and the care shows. I was afraid and they made me feel ok and asked questions about my after care. That felt really good. This is urgent care and I felt so cared about. Thank you.
I had a great experience as a new patient at NWFP. I moved from Dallas recently and wanted to find a primary care doctor and reached out to NWFP and was seen the next day. The person I spoke with on the phone was very nice and helpful, the office people were great, and the wait time was minimal. I saw Phuong Duong, and she was quick, kind, and felt that if I had some health issues, she would be able to help and listen.

The very first time I came here there wasn’t a long wait time . The second time I came here I had to wait for over 30 minutes past my appointment time to get seen . I’m not sure what the hold up was but it was very frustrating all around . What’s the point of me arriving 15 minutes early as requested by the company if I’m going to be waiting 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment time ? The doctor was very rude and condescending me . Would not recommend coming here if you are of color . Luckily, I’m in nursing school. I know enough about medical terminology so I was able to defend myself .
I have never been treated so poorly by a physician. I went in complaining of numbness and pain in my left arm, I was seen by Phuong T Duong, 0 conpasion, 0 humility. I was sent back for x-rays. Not 5 minutes later, she came back saying everything looked normal, she couldn't (more like wouldn't) answer anymore question, said I'd have to see my primary physician. Then why schedule me to see someone if they are unable to do anything? By far, the worst experiences I have ever had with a physician. She is Terrible person that's needs to be banned from practicing medicine.
Based on my experience here, very bad customer service and incompetent employees. Very rude demeanor and unfriendly atmosphere from the staff members. Would not recommend or want to return.
I always see Phuong Duong when I come in. I have been a patient here for about a year. The front desk staff is always courteous and efficient. The medical assistants are as well. If I am ever sitting more than 5 minutes they are exceptionally apologetic, and know that my healthcare provider always has my best interest at heart. She listens to me and provides me with the best treatment options to suit my needs. After less than exceptional service with other care providers, I am a lifelong patient here. The poor reviews blow my mind, I would highly recommend NWFP for excellent patient centered care!
Went to Next Care today. They were busy but the online scheduling and check in process made the appointment easy. Once there the staff was pleasant and friendly. The doctor took time to talk to me and I left feeling the treatment I was getting would be effective. All in all a good experience.
This whole office including dr baalmann are a joke they care more about money and insurance than they do the patients. They won't even fill out paperwork or fill scripts because they refuse to take my insurance. As far as I'm concerned they need to think about their patients over anything else. I'm glad we found a different doctor office. I will never go back to this joke of an office.
Dr. Cotter is great. Customer service is absolutely the most unprofessional staff I have had the privilege to deal with. The office manager Heather and the billing person Tasha, not so much. I had 1 bill that I admittedly overlooked and often had troubles trying to pay through their portal. When I called them about it I was told to contact their IT. Nonetheless, I received a call from a debt collection agency regarding my minor child. The owed bill was for my son. After speaking with the debt collection agency they did not have the info for me as the responsible person and therefore, would not collect. I finally contacted Heather after speaking with Tasha. Tasha has worked in billing for over 20 years she said and could not answer as to why my minor child was being contacted by a collection agency. I finally was contacted by Heather who was very irritated that I called the office 7 times in an hour trying to get clarification on this matter. I was asked repeatedly what was the emergency and told my issue was not an emergency. I simply responded that it is to me. When I told her my problem she stated that it wasn't her fault, then stated that she would send the responsible parties info to the debt collector. When I pressed her how does this happen? stating that it is illegal to do that, I was asked if I was going to pay my bill. Before I could say anything I was transferred to Tasha. Tasha picks up and asks if I am going to pay my bill which I say I am and I would call back in a few. I called for over an hour and half with no answer. Tasha has a less than friendly attitude when I pay my bill and I ask if my account is going to be re activated. Tasha says it will take a minute. Next thing I know, I am being transferred to Heather again. I try to call Tasha right back. Guess what? No answer. I would imagine that I will no longer be allowed to go back to Northwest Family Physicians. Its a shame. My family and my extended family really like Dr. Cotter. I cant imagine the doctors of this practice being OK with this type of customer service and Heather and Tasha treating patients this way. It is bad for business that 9 patients are lost from my family because 2 people treat customers and patients the way they do.
My husband and I had been sick for almost two weeks and it kept getting worse.
The lady at the front desk was rude when we walked in, gave us instructions and told us to sit down in the corner. However, she really changed her tune when my husband needed help with the QR code check in they have. From then on, nothing but helpful.
We still waited for a long time, of which I’m a little blurry on. But the medical assistant called us back and was super friendly and practical. After vitals, the doctor came in and we both liked her immediately. Again, friendly and practical, knowledgeable and got us what we needed asap. Best care the night before Thanksgiving. Would recommend this clinic in a heartbeat.
Great staff, nurses, and Doctors, they far exceeded my expectations. Knowledge and happy personalities make it a great place to go when you need Urgent Care. Especially the great smile of Medical Assistant Kaylee.
Great , friendly, kind and fast. No appointment I think I was there a total of maybe 30 minutes at the most. They found a pharmacy for me that is open in Sunday so I could get my RX today. Hopefully I won’t get sick again but if I do I will come back for sure.
Elizabeth Bui, PA at AFC Urgent Care Wichita is extremely welcoming, thorough and well rounded as a provider! She took exceptional care of me and developed a plan to get me back to my baseline quickly. I will most definitely be returning to AFC in the future for urgent care needs.
Been using them for years in place of ER calls and we have always been very happy with their level of treatment. Dr. Mansody (so?) was probably the most comforting physician I have ever encountered. Kind and very professional.

The best tickle clinic around. Just had to pay my copay and got tickled for a good 5 mins before I i almost peed my pants. Best day ever! Thanks little clinic
Everything was meant with the best of care. Gave us steroid for our covid and antibiotics. Steroid helped immensely even first night. Very nice nurses and PAs. Not a long wait.
The check in was fast and easy , the receipt and nurse was very nice and professional.
The Doctor examined me very carefully and patient. She target the problem very quick and send me home with prescription. Felling better already!
Friendly and smiley staff at the front desk waiting and able to help with anything, the Dr's and nurses are very kind, gentle, and friendly, and willing to answer all your questions and address all your needs, short wait times if you even have to wait at all. My appointment wasn't until 11:30 but I happened to be in the area a lot earlier so I decided to wait in the parking lot instead after checking in much earlier than my appointment time I got a friendly text asking if I was the one in the parking lot so I answered yes and I was nicely invited in and due to the nature of my visit kindly reminded to wear my mask. I went in immediately they informed me of my copay I paid and had a nurse waiting on me before I could finish paying I went into the room with my nurse she quickly took my vitals and weight ( not the great) lol she asked a few questions she stabbed my nose and off we went to another room to wait for my Dr to come in with my test results. It wasn't long my Dr came in explained my results gave me a Dr's note for work and I didn't even have to ask her for one ( Awesome!) And out the door I went being given a smile and a pleasant have a great day and I was all done. It probably took me longer to type out my review then it did the entire appointment time that I was in the Dr office. It was fast easy great and painless. I'd recommend this place to everyone. I bet your visit would be a great as mine was easy and not time consuming. What more can one ask for?
Receptionist were nice, pleasant, and professional. However, I didn’t have the best experience with the clinical staff. The nurse/medical assistant nor the provider I saw didn’t seem like they wanted to be there. The provider was in & out so quick and even rushed me out. I waited an hour & a half for a 3 minute appointment. I definitely won’t go back.
I had been dealing with bronchitis for over two weeks, zpack didn't clear it, and as teachers know it's more work to set up for subs than it is to just go in and tough it out... anyhow it came to a point I thought ok I really need to see a doctor again. My GP was booked solid, and I didn't want the hassle of hours in the ER... tried AVCICM and I was just so incredibly impressed! Granted it was a Monday evening, but still... walk-in arrival, exam, breathing treatment, chest x-ray, diagnosis (pneumonia!), and discharge was only 2 hours. Every one of the staff were so very professional, friendly, and seemed to genuinely care for their patients and take pride in their work. Nurse practitioner Christine was phenomenal as was the x-ray tech... really everyone was fantastic! I'm so grateful for their wonderful care and highly recommend their services.
I had an exceptional experience at AFC Urgent Care on Rock Rd today! Within 30 minutes, I was seen, diagnosed, and treated. The staff was incredibly friendly, and to top it off, the doctor even shared some of her personal Halls vitamin C lozenges. It was a 10/10 experience, and I couldn't be happier with the care I received.
I stubbed my toe in the middle of the night. I woke up to my foot being covered in blood. I guess I hit it harder than I thought. Came into the urgent care center needing them to take a look at it. I ended up getting several stitches.

The NP was a very professional and we had a good conversation while she was cleaning up my wound and sewing up my stitches. It was a very pleasant experience given the circumstances.
The nurse and doctor were amazing, but the receptionist was a little rude. I don’t think it was her fault though, we all have bad days! But other than that a pretty good experience! Keep up the amazing work!
No one seemed to care what was going on. Didn't even barely look at the spot and just told us the name of a medicine and left the room. They didn't tell us what they think it is or anything. I have never felt so disappointed in a provider... well definitely not be coming back.
The receptionist was kind. The nurse that took us back listened to me and was quick to act. The drs came in and examined my daughter thoroughly in a way that made her comfortable rather than scared. It was a great experience!
The visit was quick, I was in and out. The staff was helpful and friendly . I will be returning with any other medical needs myself or my children have.
Everybody was very helpful! The lady at the front desk was very nice and helped me figure out payment options that worked best for me. The physician and nurse were so nice and helped me immensely. I definitely recommend going here!
On 09/13/2023 was my first time at this facility. It was very clean and comfortable atmosphere. They work quickly to keep the flow going with waiting patients to get everyone processed quickly and seen in a short timely manner. I did notice all the staff members worked very well together to keep a good flow going. This I dont see much at busy urgent care facilities with the staff members, most of the other urgent care facilities I visited in the past can't seem to keep up a good flow when there are several patients coming in back to back next thing you know your there another 2 hours before being seen even. The staff members who was involved in my care process were kind with smiles and good attitudes the whole time. I was back there after intake going to a room, getting x-rays, and all done within 10 minutes. I was impressed with the urgent and kind service as well. From when I arrived to when I left, I was there 1 hour total, given I had showed up during a busy period, that is a new record for me :) I received a phone call with my results within 2 hours after I left. This is the first time I have been able to say this about any of the urgent care facilities in wichita, KS (that I have visited),- I highly recommend giving AFC Urgent Care a try! :) I look forward to going back here again when needed :) To the Staff: Thank you all for your kindness and hospitality!
Staff not very attentive or professional at all. Me and my son walked in I was not greeted I was not asked how I can be helped, lady at front desk was on her phone when she looked up at me I asked her if they can do blood work her doctor's orders and she just looked at me and asked a group of nurses that were sitting in a circle talking and on their phone and they said no we don't do that here we don't do any lab work here you would need to go to Wesley or some kind of hospital for that and I said okay thanks and they didn't say you're welcome or anything they just sat back down and got back on their phones. I feel like my son and I was denied service because they simply didn't want to get off their phones and in their conversations wouldn't recommend going to the next Care on Seneca in the evening time.

The only suggestion I would make is if you have customers who made appointments you take them in and maybe take your walk ins every other appt patient. Putting everyone in the same exact list and taking them as they arrive makes making an appointment absolutely pointless. But staff was kind and efficient once we were back. The people who logged in and made an appt should get some sort of benefit for doing so. Thank you though for being efficient and courteous once we were back ❤️
Visited today for a check-up. After reading the reviews, I was concerned. However, Everyone I had contact with was friendly and professional. Dr. Cotter was personable and courteous. The lady who took a blood sample was kind and friendly. The front desk personnel were also professional and friendly. Nothing negative to say.
I went in at 12:55 pm on a Wednesday to have a sports injury checked out. It wasn't very busy. With exam, x-ray, and results; I was back home before 2:15. I felt as if I was given good medical care. The medical staff did a great job.
The wait was pretty long but we expected that. Nurses were great. The Dr we saw did not meet my expectations. I feel she picked the treatment that would be easiest and quickest for her, instead of what was the best for the patient (my child). I use the term “treatment” loosely since she didn’t do anything that we couldn’t have done ourselves at home.
The nurse that took care of me was very kind and patient. She made me feel very comfortable, even when my body wasn’t cooperating. Thank you all for your empathy and understanding.
The wait was quite long - but the care was fabulous. I am very appreciative of the thorough work up and explanations as well as the attentiveness of the nurse practitioner. While we were waiting I was thinking I would never go again because it was hours of waiting, but now I plan to return if needed and take advantage of the online check in to save wait time.
The front desk person was nice. That's the only thing keeping me from wishing I could give this place zero stars. The nurse I had seemed to hate her job and didn't seem to care about a word coming out of my mouth. The provider I had was Jody Morrison. She was very straightforward, bordering unfriendly. She seemed irritated that I was there. She made me feel stupid for the questions and concerns I had. I felt judged. In my patient portal I was able to see the chart notes from the appointment, and even those came across judgemental. She didn't ask me to elaborate on how I was feeling or when my symptoms began. She seemed to just want to get me in and out asap and acted as though I was a burden. I then heard her outside tell someone to tell the next person it would be a 45 minute wait. Why? There was only one car in the parking lot when I arrived and one when I left. While I waited about 20 to 30 minutes for the provider to come in, I heard staff outside the door complaining about other people. I understand needing to vent, but to do so when patients can hear you is very unprofessional. NextCare does not care.
The wait time was fine and the receptionist and triage personnel were great. The doctor however was not. I spent no more than 2-3 minutes with the doctor, in which it felt like she had diagnosed me within the first 30 seconds of our interaction. She did not allow me much opportunity to speak on my own behalf. If so, then I would have been able to tell her that everything she was recommending that I do I was already doing daily as a large portion of my job. She left the room telling me that she was sending medication to my preferred pharmacy twice but failed to tell me what medication I should be expecting to pick up.
Excellent service, the wait time was just a small time frame window. HIGHLY recommend Dr. Romeo Smith and nurse Johann. I’ve been to urgent care before and service was not that good, (it was hurried and not the bedside manners in listening to patient) so I’m glad this time the care providers were different. Overall It’s a great location to go and when there’s truly caring providers, it makes a world of difference; after all one doesn’t go to urgent care because they’re feeling well. Thank you Nurse Johann and Dr. Smith!

When they say they are open until 7:30pm, that is apparently only a recommendation. I arrived 20 minutes prior to closing and was promptly told that they were no longer seeing patients because they needed to do charting. Unfortunately, one of the other doors was open and there was a friendly conversation being had amongst the employees, but definitely no work being done. I suspect the odd closing time of 7:30 is to allow time for charting, cleaning, and closing prior to 8pm, but if you really don't want to work, just say the last patient needs to be checked in before 4pm.
Turned away a patient who needed medical care without assessing him and told him it was his asthma
I'm so incredibly disappointed and frustrated.

My three kids, all with disabilities, have been patients here for nearly 7 years.

That have always received excellent care and the office staff is wonderful.

However, they can no longer go there as the practice no longer accepts Aetna insurance.

I made an appt online for 9am and came to this clinic at 8:40am to check in. The clinic opens at 8:30am and nobody was there. There was another customer who had schedulers and appt before me and was there waiting as well. We tried to call the little clinic phone number online and nobody answered the phones. They charge a $20 no show fee but you can't get ahold of anyone to talk to and nobody ever showed up. So unprofessional. Will never be going to this clinic again.

Made appt for son for strep test for 10:40 the next morning. Did not get a call from clinic until 1020 saying NP did not show up. They open at 8, why didn't they call me right away?!? I could have gotten him in somewhere else later that day but now I have to wait another day to get my son on antibiotics for strep. Very unprofessional.
I have been bringing my daughter here for 16 years and they used to be very helpful at getting kids in to see the doctors. Schedulers and front desk staff used to be very nice. Over time they have become rude and unwilling to make appointments for check ups and vaccines convenient for families claiming its the rules. Time to move on to another provider unfortunately. Dr. Unruh is very very nice and my daughter loves him but office staff and whoever is responsible for changing rules for appointments and vaccines has ruined that. I see other reviews that are giving low ratings for rude office staff so beware!

I walked in, in extreme pain because I had put off getting tested for a uti for too long the woman upfront was sweet and let me take my time talking and paying. When I was put in the room she continued being sweet and when Dr. Young came in she was extremely helpful and caring. If I need help again I'm definitely going back. The visit was affordable and so was the medication.

My appointment on March 17 at the little clinic was very pleasant. Sam at the front desk and who took my vitals prior to seeing Dr Rhonda Young was very nice and helpful and listened to my issues and gave me options on the testing that needed performed. Dr Young was very nice, knew what the issue was and explained it to me and gave me all the info and diet requirements I needed for Gastroenteritis. Same experience my Wife had a week before and she highly recommended I see them for my issues. Quick and easy check-in. Thank you guys!!!!!

Love love love my Dr. She is the best. Outside of my doctor (Dr. Bethel) I honestly question why I am a patient here. The staff has been rude for years and keeps getting worse. The front desk is pushy and rude, the MA’s are worse. They make you do everything on a portal that they never seem to keep up on. Then treat you like your annoying them if you call to follow up on the portal that no one seems to bother with. It’s just a horrible experience from the moment you call to schedule an appt down to paying your bill. If you decide to become a patient here get ready to constantly be treated like an inconvenience.

Scheduled vaccine 4pm, called and texted various times in the day (night shift worker) telling to come in earlier if I could, I replied I could not and was told see you at 4p. I get here at 4pm and was told they had vaccines that expired at 4pm and that I would have to wait 25 minutes for the vaccines to thaw. My suggestion was to make clear why requested to come in early rather than not be prepared for the appointment. First and last experience with the Little Clinic, found the receptionist to be a little stressed. Everyone with appointments behind me got the same answer. As a previous leader in the healthcare industry that encompassed a vaccine program I feel this was poorly organized.

The utmost disrespectful and unhelpful staff I have ever spoken with at any practice. New physician must be very very unqualified for her position. Refused to help me get into the patient portal. When online it particularly states that I must contact the clinic to have the account unlocked. Cannot schedule an virtual appointment without utilizing the portal. Would not listen to a single word I said without saying "I cannot help you." Proceeded to hang up on me. When I called back refused to help and said I was telling at her. I was simply asking a question. One in Wich would not even be aknowledged or heard. Shocked and amused at the lack of respect or concern for a patient. Go anywhere else but here.
Dr. Moore and Dr. Simon are the doctors I normally see. They are great and so are all the nurses. However, the front desk is what drops the rating from a 5 to a 2 star. They are very rude all of the time, on the phone and in person. I was just there and stood at the desk wanting to ask a question. I was ignored for a few minutes and eventually got a finger to hold on. No words. And when she then called back to the doctor, she failed to pass on half of the information that was critical for them to understand the question. In recent years, they have had a lot of turnover at that desk and each time it gets worse.

The best part about this dr office is you feel like family. All of the nurses and front office are kind and caring. The office manager makes my family feel at home too. Now my Dr. He is amazing. He listens and talks with me. We find the best solutions for my family's health needs together. It never feels like he just makes a decision for us.
The front desk staff is hit or miss with a friendly face/attitude; kind of a requirement when you're in the first impressions position but that's my opinion. My doctor is Angela Moore, cannot say enough how amazing she is. She will shoot you straight, she doesn't add a lot of fluff and I respect her for it. I trust her education and opinion, I always feel comfortable talking to her. I also love her PA so there's a great back up if she is not available.

My daughters doctor is also here... Dr Unruh. He has been her doctor since she was an infant; I trust and respect his opinions and advice! He also gives the kids a little coin to get something from the toy machine which my daughter always enjoys.
My family and I have been patients here for several years and I will go to no one else. We make a 30 minute drive from where we live to make doctor appointments and I wouldn't have it any other way. Dr. Moore is the most amazing, caring and understanding family doctor. She is a real gem!
