While not as renowned as Sacré-Cœur or Notre Dame, the architecture of this church is undeniably striking. It's conveniently located a brief stroll away from the Gare du Nord station. Even if the church happens to be closed, there is ample space to relax outside and appreciate its magnificence.

Beautiful place to give thanks and forgive. We were blessed and lucky enough to have someone sing while we were there to show off the magnificent acoustics
Solemn experience to visit the great saint’s holy body laid to rest at this church!
It is a beautiful white cathedral spotted at a really high place of the French capital, Paris. From there is possible to see almost whole city.
And to get inside of the edification is possible too, from where you can have even better view of Paris, after climbing the tower. The inside is also nice.
Other nice touristic place of this city!!!
Masal gibi bir sokak ve binalar... Büyüleyici bir gezinti yaşadım.

Other nice touristic place of this city!!!
The church was beautiful, had a lovely time. I thought it was nice that I didn’t have to pay to enter. When travelling every little bit adds up, so I am glad I got to experience it!

The area near by is so much fun to walk around and look at the little shops and walking tours. I recommend downloading pre-made google maps tours of the area to save money and see tourist stops for pictures!
not really for tourists, the atmosphere is more for prayer so it’s more awkward to step in, but the decorations is great!
Cathedral was quite hard to locate however it was beautiful inside. However no great detail on the life of St Vincent De Paul. I’m a great admirer of his so it was a must see visit for me while in Paris.
I am unable to describe how beautiful and unique this Basilica is; the pictures don't do it justice. If you travel from another country to visit, it is like winning the lottery and being blessed to be able to be there. The location can get crowded, but it is definitely worth it. The views of the city of Paris are breathtaking. We had to climb up the street stairs; I was out of breath when I reached the top. There are many things to see and enjoy on the way up. I hope you have the opportunity to visit and take as many pictures as you desire. I believe, the John Wick 4 movie was filmed in this location.
Peaceful and calm stay. St. Vincent de Paul chapel and sacred heart church where body of st. Margret Mary are closeby
Paris is full is beautiful church’s, don’t just see the famous ones. The neighborhood Roman Catholic church’s are often open during day for sightseeing. Saint Vincent DePaul Paris, France is within a few minute walk of Gare Du Nord (north station). At 8:45 am there are weekday masses.
It's hard to put into words how much I adore this spot! The sheer beauty of the grand mosaics and captivating architecture inside is breathtaking to say the least. And the location...wow! Perched atop a hill, offering the most spectacular views of the city, it truly is a sight to behold.

Spending time here, simply sitting and soaking in the views of the city spread out beneath me is one of my favorite pastimes. Whether it's watching the hustle and bustle of the city during the day or catching the mesmerizing sunset in the evening, it's an experience that never gets old. 🌇

And if you're a photography enthusiast like me, the surrounding area is a gold mine. There are numerous small spots where you can catch a glimpse of the Eiffel Tower peeking through the tree branches. It's such a unique perspective and offers a fantastic opportunity for some really creative shots. 📸

All in all, this place is an absolute gem! From the stunning interiors to the panoramic city views and photo ops, it's a must-visit for anyone in the city. I just can't get enough of it! 💗
Beautiful Church! Decoration and motives are delicate and worth seeing if you love architecture!
We were not sure if it was worth a visit while in Paris. No doubt, it was worth it. Two drawbacks: First, it is not near the city center (like 30 minutes by subway). Second, you need to be prepared to climb the stairs. Or, you can take a small lift that will take you to the Basilica.

The Basilica itself is stunning. It is free to visit (you only need to pay if you want to go to the dome). I didn't go to the dome. Either way, you will have beautiful panoramic views regardless you go to the dome or not.
Beautiful church that house the remains of Saint Vincent De Paul.

This place was unexpected. Our tour guide took us here without having known of it prior to going and boy were we surprised how beautiful and amazing it was! From the first time we saw it while walking up through the alley to the time spent walking through the church to admire all the detail we were captivated! And if that wasn’t enough when you walk out you will see some of the best views of Paris! It is well worth the trip! Do some research before going if you require any assistance getting around as there are cobble streets and a steady incline getting to and leaving the area.
Beautiful place and architecture
From outside you will find its simple door, but as you will enter, you will not believe your eyes...
stunning architecture.. beautifully... simply beautiful
Lieu très paisible
It's just magnificent. We nearly walked past, and we are glad we didn't. It is an amazing, tranquil place to take some time to reflect.
Small church, beautiful outside and inside
A very nice cathedral, has a solemn Easter vigil mass here.
It is beautiful and impressive. I think this shows a very good example of a modern cathedral.
The exterior façade is beautiful, also the frescoes by Nicolas UNTERSTELLER inside the cathedral go really well with the concrete walls.
It would be nice to compare it with the frescoes of the old cathedrals.
I was guided to be here cause I wanted to buy miracle medals of Mother Mary. With some reasons the original church didn’t allow people to enter and this small church was guided.
This church was so small and very quite which was much kore I liked. i felt that my mind was healed.
Lovely church close to the Gare du Nord, with a nice square infront and small gardens to relax in. Nice architecture and lovely area close to the Metro stop Poissonnière and many other sites…
Walked pass this Church but found closed . The architecture of the building have some Roman details but need to verify . It is a nice Church looking from outside . Will visit the interior if have the time .
This is one of the best locations to visit while in Paris. I would say first place, especially if you aren't lazy enough to walk around and inhale the spirit of old Paris. Each time we visit this Basilica we find something new!
A small but very beautiful church, worth a visit. During the Christmas season its exterior is decorated.
This place is so peaceful. I highly recommend you to visit this place. Totally worthy place. The architecture is so good. Will definately visit the church again someday.

A sense of tranquility and warmth is the ambience one feels when entering into this historic church. Byzantine and Romanesque architecture at its finest! I visited this amazing Catholic Church in February 2019 .It was a Sunday and just after Sunday Mass I was able to enter and visit. Immediately upon entering I was overwhelmed with the enormity of the interior! There are sculptures and decorative designs with frescoes like the one of the Moslem painter, Nicolas Untersteller. The church is actually consisted of three parts, with the tower being the most prominent. The stupendous façade is unbelievably grand. The central steeple is absolutely breathtaking! This may be a 1930s structure but the original church dates back to 11th century! If you're around arrondissement 16th, this is a must visit.
Must visit this place . If you want to find peace go there ..... The best church 🫶🙏
Very clean architecture. Worth visiting inside.
Nice location. Please visit here.
One of my favorite churches in Paris. While it is off the tourist path, the inside is amazingly colorful and gives the viewer of what a medieval church would have looked like with all the colors.
What a unique church! It's tower is also noticable from far away and I finally got chance to visit today. Must visit!

Designed by Emile Bois, it was completed in 1938. Typical of it's period it recalls Romanesque and Byzantine architecture through its search for the geometry and volume of 1930s, often emphasized by the decoration.
Belle initiative !

A very beautiful and peaceful place where you can enjoyed for a few hours and walked around the area . There were some good restaurants around as well .
The church was built during 1824–44, on the site of the ancient Saint-Lazare prison enclosure. In that enclosure had been located the Maison Saint-Lazare, occupied by Vincent de Paul— it was here that he lived and worked— and afterwards by the Congrégation de la Mission, from 1632 to 1793.

The church's design and the initial phases of its construction were entrusted to Jean-Baptiste Lepère, a French architect of modest reputation. The first stone was laid in August 1824 in the presence of the préfet de la Seine Gaspard de Chabrol and the archbishop of Paris Mgr de Quélen. Work proceeded slowly, and was repeatedly abandoned, being especially delayed because of a lack of credit as a result of the 1830 Revolution. Thus it was Lepère's son-in-law, Jacques Hittorff, who finally followed the project through from 1831 to 1844. The building opened for worship on 25 October 1844.

The nave and apse from the west end tribune
Hittorff massively modified the initial plans (which did not plan for even one tower), with his church opening onto the Place Franz-Liszt, giving the building a church square. He also added a system of ramps, laid out today in gardens, to aid access by horse-drawn carriages.
We just passed this church on the way to the Eiffle tower and so we didn't go in. The church looks quite unique and there is an interesting carving at the entrance.
Very peaceful place. Has fantastic views of the city and the Eiffel tower.
Very nice place where everybody can look aroand from top of the hill
Well look at the Dress, I didn't Go into this particular Chic Boutique because no prices

I am Not a crossdresser ♡♡¿♡♡
The bodily remains of Saint Vincent de Paul is kept here. A silent place for prayer. The chapel interior is amazing..
Il me manque tellement.
Very beautiful cathedral ; the interiors are one of the best we have seen ; a must visit if you are around
The church of Notre Dame of the Assumption (Eglise Notre-Dame de l'Assomption) is located on the small Maurice Barres Square along Rue Saint Honore on the Right Bank. It was originally constructed in the second half of the 17th-century based on the architectural plans of Charles Errard.

The Italian influences of this church are clear, particularly circular shape of the building which to a much smaller scale, resembles the Pantheon in Rome. There is a front portico which is lined with Corinthian columns at the church entrance. The church also features a prominent dome which dominants its exterior.

The interior is inherently round in shape, again similar to the Pantheon and and the likes of Sant'Agnese in Agone at Piazza Navona which was built in Rome around the same time period. Inside, you find a single room with rows of seats under the dome. Several side altars are erected with wall frescos. The main front altar is ornamental and overall nice to see. During our visit in December, there was Xmas decor and a tree in the church front as well. These were nice to see.

In the end, if you enjoy seeing old church buildings during your travels, it is worth a few minutes to see both the exterior and interior of Eglise Notre-Dame de l'Assomption while sightseeing in this area of the Right Bank.
This church is barely seen from the street, but in fact it's really special place where you can meet Saint Vincent de Paul. It is a wonderful experience and I want to come back here! Do take time to pray and take in God's Holiness and the gift of His Saints!
Small but beautiful old church in the alleyway, €1.50 per candle or donate as much as you like. Came here last week to light candles for my loved ones.
