Shared a booth outside which was nice and cosy for 3 people. Good food and great service. It was a little cold but before we could ask the heaters came on and it was beautiful !! Did not want to leave. Be back for sure !!

DQ has plenty of great restaurants and spaces to sit and relax. Such a beautiful space yet so close to the CBD. They also hold plenty of events throughout the year - the open air cinema in January is fantastic for all ages - and free! Plenty of good facilities for the kids too! Definitely a must visit for locals and tourists alike.
I love the old-world charm of QVB. It's so nostalgic there. They have some very interesting shops and cafes. It is amazing that it used to be the horse stables. So much history in this building.

Amongst the surrounding skyscrapers is a 19th century historical building standing quietly in the flourishing city of Sydney. Beautiful and significant architecture is also known as shopping center!

Beautiful multilevel building with a nice variety of stores and facilities - including some upmarket brand stores, many health and beauty stores, gift shops, and cafes. Below street level links you to Town Hall train station, The Galleries Victoria building, Westfield and other street level exits. There are nice staircases, elevators, escalators, and toilets. Often a lovely bit of art being showcased in the middle of the building. Nice for a walk-through instead of walking along the streets too.
The beautiful exterior and interior decoration make it possible to shopping, but it also seems meaningful for a simple visit.
The floor was decorated with small tiles and the windows were nicely decorated with stained glass.
The large clock tower in the center was very impressive and unique.

The Iconic building and shopping centre in Sydney centre. You can do shopping, admire the historical architecture building as well as enjoy the international eateries under the same roof. There are some special shops here that you might not find at the other shopping mall. QVB is located adjoining with the Town Hall train station.

The Queen Victoria Building is a true gem of historical architecture! It's beautifully preserved and still retains its original charm. The mall is massive and bustling. Instead of the usual chain stores on the ground floor, I recommend taking the time to explore the unique and characterful boutiques on the upper floors. We stumbled upon a handmade perfume shop – truly one-of-a-kind. It's a fantastic place to discover hidden gems away from the mainstream shops.

My daughters LOVE the bookshop upstairs (I spent some time wandering the shelves too), while there was so much food choice around the building, I lost track of time! I recommend 👍😊

Has an "Ok" selection of food and shops, the Woolworths supermarket and Chemist, is handy if you work in the building. Nothing 'special' in the food court, if anything a little over-priced vs quality and selection.

The building is effectively a mobile network blackspot. The center offers free-wifi, but it rarely works (either the login/register fails, or it wont even fire up and ask you to login). So don't bother trying to read the news or listen to music while you each lunch or shop..

Indeed all of 60 Margaret st is a mobile blackspot even the occupants of the office tower have the same problem. I wish building management would address the issue.

It is a very spectacular and lovely building with a sense of history. Once inside, there are several cafes and stores.

There is a piano on the second floor, and anyone can play it freely. However, some of the keys are broken and out of tune, so they may need to be repaired or tuned. The sound is not good. I think that one day a very good pianist will appear, so it might be better to repair it before Christmas. I am sure that further customers will come here to hear that pianist play.

It was a very classy and wonderful place. It was a very pleasant place to shop, enjoy the cafes, and walk around!
Excellent coffee, relaxing atmosphere.

Security guy sneaked behind me while I was descending the escalator and told me my mobility scooter is illegal. This caused me to turn and nearly loose my balance. I almost fell down the escalator. I told security Transport for NSW are now hiring out scooters. Security guy changed tack and said Galleries policy forbid scooters. In other words, security guy made a thoughtless personal judgement call and almost caused an accident. Who's watching the watchers?

It is what it is.
Safe, entertaining, first world.
Took a pit stop at the food court here between meetings. There was a bench with power points which was great for charging the phone and getting some work done on the laptop.
Most cafes and restaurants are closed, and the ones that open offer limited menu options.
Great Chinese $15. Good value. Busy.
Beautiful heritage listed old building. Full of upmarket and boutique stores. Very pleasant to walk around and well worth a look. High tea is on offer in a number of places and looks very nice. Very expensive place to shop and limited sizes available.
Problem is the smoke comes inside up the elevators in winter. Cold wind comes up too
People shouldn't even be smoking in Queen Street mall
The atmosphere is so nice, beautiful lights at night. It's great for taking photos.
We had dessert, shaved ice with mango and strawberries. It was very delicious! Would definitely go again.
If you're after a shop in the middle of the city... then this shop is definitely in the middle of the city! 😁
Strange numbering of floors... it's crazy how the basement is revamped into a whole golden gai tokyo situation with all the Japanese food offerings. But even after many years, Oh Matcha on the ground floor is still the best among the lot with matcha soft serve.

I love Pitt Street Mall bcos it has some very good shops, atm's & food court. It is located in the heart of the city. It is always very busy there bcos its very popular. Outside the Mall, there r lots of very good shops.
1000 feet high Sydney tower eye, is atop this building, from where visitors can hava a glimpse of entire Sydeny on the move. Must visit place.
It's even better because you can see the city at a glance and the sophisticated city beauty. It's the best spot because you can see the fantastic sea like an opera house a little further away
After buying a swatch on Sunday for my daughter we decided to return and I encountered the rudest and most disinterested staff that I’ve ever come across. I was about to buy two of the omega X tag watches, one for me and one for my daughter, after being ignored I finally got to look at the watches then when I went to try it on a young female staff member rudely said that we couldn’t do that and couldn’t close the strap. What’s the point of you can’t make sure they fit!

World Square is a bustling hub of shopping, dining, and entertainment right in the heart of the city. With its array of stores and eateries, it caters to a diverse range of preferences. The venue is well-maintained and the layout allows for easy navigation. However, during peak times, it can get a tad crowded, which might be a slight inconvenience for some. Overall, World Square offers a comprehensive urban experience, though with room for minor enhancements to elevate the visitor experience even further.

It's lively, so many restaurants and pubs but there's not much to eat.

There are no specialties and no real restaurants
Pretty nice, lotta cool restaurants, good variety of cheap-expensive food. Caters to the whole spectrum. Has some cool trinkets from Japan as well as clothes.

Shop shop! Lots of shopping ,It fills an entire Sydney city block, bounded by George, Liverpool, Pitt and Goulburn Streets, on what was a small hill called Brickfield Hill.

World Square features a shopping centre, hotels, office buildings and residential apartment towers. Liverpool Lane, off Liverpool Street, is part of World Square and features restaurants, cafes and take away shops. It is also the home of Southern Cross Austereo's Sydney radio stations Triple M and 2Day FM

Pitt Street Mall offers a variety of shops and a vibrant atmosphere, but it can feel overwhelmingly crowded, especially during peak times. Navigating through the throngs of people can be challenging, detracting from the overall experience. A three-star rating due to limited space for large crowds

We stopped by just to look around since we were in the area. The square has a series of restaurants and shops lining the edges of the square. We did look around at the restaurants around including up the stairs but didn't go anywhere since we had just had lunch. It was an interesting stop particularly with the interesting sculpture around the central area.

Luxury places for shopping. Walking distance to opera house and harbour bridge around 10 - 15 mins
Fairly small for a mall but still a few interesting shops. They tend to have speciality shops that you see less of in Westfield or not at all. Have toilets on Level 2 that are small and sometimes unclean. Connects to Myer in Westfield and you can pass thru to go from Pitt to George Streets.
Good food, busy spot but you can understand why it's so busy. Would 100% come back if I'm back in sydney

Best place for shoppers... All brands are readily available including high end brands.
.
A very busy mall and street... One can shop here all day.
.
Many eating cafes and restaurants on the street make it easier for the shoppers.

Sneakily placed group of shops which I would never have found unless my friend showed me the short cut on George St that leads to Kent St exit/entry .
I guess the locals like it that way but to promote the mall management seriously need some loud signage on the east side .

Good mini shipping area directly off Wynyard station. A lot of empty shops now post COVID which is a shame. Still bustling for morning rush and lunch rush at the cafes which is good. More seating would be great and support opening some local shops instead of chain retail.

World Square is an open-concept shopping mall packed with eateries and a small number of shops.

You wouldn't head here for the experience, per se, but it's a great place to have on your radar. Pretty much no matter what you need after a big day in the city, you can find it here.

🍜 Authentic Chinese food without the hustle of Chinatown? Boom. 🌯 Quick burritos? Yup. ☕ Need coffee? Gotcha covered. 🍫 Chocolate craving? Here you go.

And I think even a post office. And an electronics shop and supermarket.

It's a great place to know about, because it's never as busy as the rest of the city.

📶 Free Wi-Fi

🚻 Located on the ground floor, behind the stairs in front of you if your back is to George St.

🐮 Check out 'The Challenge', the large bull sculpture at the Pitt St entrance!

The Galeries is one of my favorite shopping places in Sydney. It features slightly offbeat brands, not the typical upscale and/or mainstays you'll find in Westfield.

Unfortunately, as of April 2023, it's undergoing some renovations, which makes it a little messy.

🍽️ There's food on every level, from a beloved sushi carousel on the 1st floor, fine dining, and super-popular pastry and cafes on the ground floor. For casual eats, go downstairs to the food court. However, note the food court doesn't keep dinner hours, so it's useless as 7pm :(

🛍️ Good shopping! Check the website for a current listing of brands.

📘 Features Sydney's largest book shop on the top floor, Kinokuniya. It's an absolute destination.

🚻 Toilets on 2 levels. In basement, at the back towards Pitt St entrance. On the first floor, it's by the gym, again on the Pitt St side.

If you are an Asian or you love Asian goods and food, this place is highly recommended.
This place is very easy to locate. It's just behind KFC and also easy to get here. Nearest station is Town Hall Light Rail. There is also an event cinemas nearby, so it's not difficult to locate. It looks like the stores inside are all completely Asian, with lots of restaurants, shops and the top floor is completely for Medical purposes.
During evenings, the place is too crowded and it is much like a happening place.
You can find most of the Japanese and Korean food here with Japanese and Korean themed restaurants and decor. The ambience is completely different and you will feel like you are in another country. With minimal lighting and decor the look is amazing and it's a perfect filter kind of to take more pictures when you hangout with friends or family.
Apart from the food and ambience, we can get Asian goods which we get in our own country. The biggest Daiso store I have ever visited is here at this place. This place also has so many cute stores which made feel like not leaving the place.

I have reduced one star, just because of the washroom cleanliness. That's the only drawback I found here.
This is Wonderful sights!
Lots of people got distracted by the sideshows😃
I would recommend spending at least a couple of days there!

A playground suitable for all ages. There’s water and sensory play. Slides for toddlers, bigger kids and zip lines. It’s accessible by public transport or by car you can park for $20 all day. Lots of eateries near by and of course the infamous Harry cafe de wheels! My favourite place to eat delicious pies and hot dogs! On weekends, the park draws in children and it can be extremely busy. There’s enough space for everyone to move around and take turns on the play equipment. The only let down is that being a very busy public space, there should be signs of contact numbers to call or rangers nearby to provide assistance to any injured children.

Best Mall IN Sydney ,so much to do ,Pitt Street Mall is the pedestrianised section of Pitt Street in the Sydney central business district, in the Australian state of New South Wales. Running for approximately 200 metres between Market Street and King Street, it is one block long and one of Australia's busiest and most cosmopolitan shopping precincts. Piccadilly Lounge Cafe is a well-kept secret. It is a welcome escape from the crowds and activity around the Centrepoint area and well worth the 5 minute walk to Piccadilly Shopping Centre - good food, pleasant staff and comfortable seating. Great for a relaxing break.

Enjoyed the relaxing venue and surrounding area at Darling Harbour. Plenty of seating, live entertainment, table tennis, restaurants, relaxing scenery close to the harbour and even closer to the swimming precinct for ankle high paddlers, large grass areas, also convention and Sydney entertainment centres located close by especially the Convention Centre. The light rail services the area.

After 20+ hours in the air we landed and arrived to our hotel. They recommend we head to the Darling Quarter for food and a place for the kids to “be kids”. The play area here is awesome. The water feature stood out with it gates, dams, pumps and more all controlled by kids. Slides that used a “hill” instead of a ladder. A zip line and slack rope are also here. After an hour of play we ate and went on our way. The next we returned and the kids once again had a great time.
Ok food. Choice of Vietnamese or Malaysian. Had the Malaysian. The kampung nasi goreng needs more seasoning; too bland. My friend said the sambal prawns wasn't hot enough like traditional one. Hainan chicken is good.
I love Asian supermarkets. This one is a treasure trove of really useful ingredients and snacks like dried squid and … actually… no. I LOVE DRIED SQUID. I canNOT GET ENOUGH OF THE SALTY SNACK. Five shiny stars for this excellent purveyor of fine foods⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sydney's main central pedestrian-street shopping "mall", this along with some very close-by areas is the place to go to for plenty of shopping, eating/drinking and even people watching. There's Myer, plenty of clothing stores, JB Hi-fi and food courts accessible from here and often there's some live entertainment including buskers around.

Around Christmas time there's Christmas decorations, and at night lit up with lights and themed music.
Bright and spacious but for some reason most of the stores don’t open til 10am which I find strange. Big food court and plenty of seating but not much open
Awesome place lots of Asian Eateries and shops close to Town Hall Station, St James and Museum, Event Cinemas, Chinatown and Hyde Park Highly recommended 🥰

Absolutely beautiful little arcade that runs between King Street and Pitt Street Mall. From Pitt Street Mall, the entrance is framed by Genesis Studio and Kings Of Trainers. Inside the arcade you find the Chrysler Café with its welcoming ambience for delicious lunch, tasty coffees or cocktail. Existing to King Street there's UGG Australia and Montblanc. I liken this arcade to a tranquil oasis to escape the hustle and bustle of a crowded city. There's a wheelchair accessible entrance, great for all ages. Chrysler Café has a lavatory. And of course, this is close to all major shopping arcades like The Strand Arcade, MidCity Centre, Myer and Westfield Shopping Centre. There's street parking or Wilson's Car Park is at the King Street entrance. Worth visiting for it's peaceful ambience.
