Two day search succeeded thanks to brother Eddie I had an absolute blast here a bit pricey however family and friends are in and out that makes for a great experience thank you.
This location has cafe and fast food options (pizza/korean/sushi) on the top floor and hot food/ everything else on the bottom floor.
There is public restroom and parking. Usually well staffed and lots of self-check stands , so long lines moves quick.
Whole Foods has good deals on produce frozen foods, and dairy. We get lots of organic milk for our toddler. WF brand is $3.50. Plus frozen pizza $5 and organic chicken $10/lbs - cheaper/higher quality c town , longer shelf life than tj’s.

excellent place to observe white people in their natural habitat. consistent selection of premium groceries and natural products. I make my required pilgrimage around twice a month to stock up on "essentials"

If I could give 0 stars I would. The workers here always seem frustrated when you’re asking them a question as to where something is or about a product. I also have noticed on multiple occasions I am slightly overcharged for things. It is ALWAYS under $5. Not a huge difference but if you do that to enough people in a month how much money doesnt that generate. I only use this place as an absolute last minute emergency place because everything here is awful. This is a STARVE or SHOP here type of situation. Buyer BEWARE.
Terrible sandwich situation. They put the lettuce in water so your sandwich will be soggy. Missing ingredients, didn't take the plasticity rind off the cappicolla and slice it too thick so it's tough and plastic strings are coming off in your mouth. Overpriced too at 13 bucks with tax. They also don't even know the ingredients in the subs on their own sign. How no balsamic for the salad and sandwich making section? A girl needs to translate to spanish sometimes that's fine i speak Spanish but don't put mayonnaise on an Italian sandwich. Maybe just try to get the hot roasted pork plate here. There's probably a lot more cultural affinity for making that.

I had a great experience. I'm an organic produce enthusiast, and no other supermarket compares to whole foods selection. I will be coming more often. The associates are very professional, including security at the exit, who was full of enjoyable energy.

I eat meatless meals on Mondays and the cooked hot food bar had many meatless and vegetarian options. The veggie & cheese lasagna plus roasted red potatoes were well seasoned.
The products are fresh, breads are excellent. People are nice and friendly. Had to take away one star for their lack of policy for animals. It is a food store and they let anyone walk in with any type of dog. I have not seen one service dog there, and I am there quite often.
Needs to be wheelchair accessible. Need to ring bell for someone to come and open the gate for you. Can barely get through the checkout, there is only one register you can barely get through with your wheelchair. Then you have to wait for someone to reopen the

Customer appreciation day was awesome today and last year as well.
First time in this supermarket, they got a lot of food from different parts of the world. Fresh and lots of variety. The only thing I didn't like was the restroom, so dirty!
Was visiting NY from Florida, the prices are a little high but was very happy to see they had more options to something’s I get at home. Very clean store, but a lot of items are very very dusty.
My favorite grocery store in all of New York City. Excellent produce, fish, and a surprising variety of dry goods from most regions of the world (Peru to Poland, Jamaica to Japan).
Have to give it 4 stars though because the shopping baskets keep disappearing. I never want to navigate the store with a full cart, it's too busy, so having the basket is essential.

This is probably one of the worst supermarkets in Brooklyn! I was unfortunate enough to buy rotten fish here. Not only was it sold as "fresh salmon" with a shelf life of over 10 days, but it was actually spoiled, and the packaging even stated that it was tilapia. Clearly, the store manager is trying to minimize losses from expired fish by repackaging ones that have already gone bad. On top of that, I'm constantly being deceived when the price at the checkout turns out to be higher than what was indicated on the shelf tag. Of course, the manager refunds the money for the poor-quality items and the price difference, but there is no compensation offered and not even an apology. I do not recommend this Foodtown or any of their stores to anyone!..

Although this food bazaar has a huge variety they will try to charge you extra for items. I purchased a small container of rice. She took the container where I couldn't see the weight and came back saying it was $6.59. So, I asked why is it so much for rice? Than I asked how much per pound she hurried and went back and changed the price sticker. She placed the new sticker on top and gave me a paid sticker. There were other people behind us that had bigger trays and there's was $7.89 and $8 something. I have spoken to the manager previously about how they treat non spanish people at the deli in this location. Yes, some of the employees are racist. If you don't believe me. Take someone with you who's spanish and which how there super helpful towards them. Some there are truly nice and helpful. If they treated all of the customers with respect, I would love to give this supermarket 5 stars.
I am impressed with the cleanliness and tidiness of this grocery store. It adds to a pleasant shopping atmosphere.

One of the main managers of the store is extremely rude and tried to convince me that yellowing frozen fish with freezer burn that is loose in the bag is safe for consumption and that I shouldn’t buy frozen fish if I don’t want that. If you look it up on any reputable source those are clear signs that it has spoiled due to not being properly stored. The way he spoke to me was unacceptable and showed his severe lack of knowledge. He kept cutting me off and raising in his voice in a way that was extremely unprofessional. It’s a shame that he feels so comfortable with selling spoiled food. So many of the produce are also spoiled. I will not be supporting them anymore and highly suggest that you shop elsewhere if you have another option.
Rather cheap, plenty of choices but of course most of the goods are available in big packages. Not all of it, but most. Worth visiting once a week for some bigger shoppings. But if you after some small grocery, there are self check out counters too. Great meat choices and cheap too.

The store is big and clean but, the management of the store is questionable🤔. I went there with my shopping cart and was told to leave it 🙃up front with security🙃. However, I had placed it inside the cart that I was using and was told by a "guard" that carts aren't allowed in the store. What kind of bs is that 🤔? I go there to buy food, not steal. Uncomfortable with all the security from front to back of store😐.
They have amazing deals with exotic products! Literally can't find them anywhere but here. Family owned, and they treat me well!
I've been going there for over 35 years. It is run by the most kindness family who just love what they do -- feed and provide you with whatever you need to keep healthy and not poor. A perfect example is before closing everyday, they announce that their delicious sushi that is meticulously prepared are half price. It's not just that they believe that worldwide food waste is a problem and that is primarily the reason why there is starvation in other countries that sell all their resources for profit while most of the people have nothing to eat but because they want to give their neighbors a break during these hard times. Thier philosophy is contagious. There are times that neighboring stores bring their food over to be given free at the end of the day so it does not get wasted and at the same time promote their goods. Kindness is not dead yet.
Busy place but has a lot of yummy foods. The prepared foods are good quality, variety and tasty. Nice quick stop.
Beware everything you buy here would be a dollar pricier than the price tag on the item; if you get something priced $7, you will be charged $8 at the cashier. That applies to every single item you buy.

They got all your every needs in food or nonfood items you need and at a real fine reasonable price. They even got their own fish market in there with any water fish you may want . Man , this place is so good you can spend all day in there and not get bored and it's fun too . You need to know places and things , come to me , I love helping people, I get a kick out of it . Go to FOOD BAZAAR and enjoy your day 😃
Food is kinda pricey. Tangerines were on sale for $3.99. I thought it was a great price until I had to sort through bags of them because they had rotten ones in basically all the bags. I opted for going to food bazaar. Prices are a bit high but good sales.
10/10 local co-op grocery store. Very competitive with produce pricing, which is what I primarily buy there. Checkout is always quick

Good selection, definitely go for whatever is on sale that week because it will be DEEPLY discounted. Owner is great and the staff and employees make you feel welcome.

I've been a customer for 30 years... prices high...very rude cashiers. On phones & can't be bothered helping customers when it is slow, early in the AM opening or when they are receiving a truck delivery.

Wonderful theater, staff are great. Very clean, and you can't beat these prices. It's so nice to have a fantastic small theater in the area. It reminds me that I love going to the movies!
Good selection of produce, but prices are becoming obscenely expensive. The other day I bought four things and it was already at $40. Good if you need things fast but there are cheaper and better options in the area.
Come here for anything but the produce. I've found tiny dead bugs/eggs in various leafy greens. Last night was my final straw when I found a dead bee hidden in the broccoli. No thanks. Foodtown is now my go-to.
This whole foods can get crazy busy in the evening! So plan your shopping accordingly. The goods are excellent and there is a lot of options for shopping. The return process is pretty easy!
Associated is well taking care of it's clean, courteous, respectful, maintained and prices are good. The workers are nice and helpful.
Whole Foods is a great high end market for hard to find produce. The price reflects the scarcity of these fruits but the price is worth the quality.

Mom and one of thing’s I noticed was that we were being watched and the worker’s were not friendly at all except the cashier. The deli clerk was ok but weird at first and they don’t have Boar’s Head Products which I immediately was not interested in anything else. We headed to the back of store and kept browsing and looking to see what we liked while comparing prices and there was a large Hispanic man that kept on peeking in the aisles we were in. I mean every time we were in one he was in one watching or peeping and it was very uncomfortable and unsettling. The prices were reasonable on some stuff but to think I spent $80 there to be watched is not cool. He didn’t even say hello or acknowledge us every time we passed him or saw him lurking around. It’s a shame because I just moved into this neighborhood and was looking forward to shopping here occasionally but that big Bertha dude and prepared food’s packer were absolutely weird. I will be calling to complain and I will show up and follow up. I worked these places in the past and never ever did I treat ppl this way. Nor did I ever allow anyone to act that way in the store. I think these ppl are racist.

I love this store :) cashiers are super friendly and are good at keeping the line moving while helping everyone . I love this place !
They have a lot of fresh vegetables and fruit. They have are very diverse in eating items so that you could cook at home. I enjoyed going with my son-in-law.
Gormet everything..yes, at gormet prices. But they have items that are not so easy to find...like a good offering of seasonal mushrooms, a large cheese department, and a pretty good selection of organic produce. They have often sold out rotisserie chicken and a fish department, including sushi. What they do not have is pet foods and a pretty meager supply of items like paper towels. They also started a delivery service durjng the pandemic that is great.
They need to be shut down overly priced I understand prices went up but they over price ppl and make sure you check dates and produce, meats and cheese because they re sell food and it be no good I sent my daughter to but cheese today two packs had mold so I had to throw away my pan of bake Macaroni I’m so upset cause to be charge $6 a pack is crazy
I bought meat and chicken from this place and it tasted awful. Most of the vegetables and fruit look old. The only thing I will buy from here is the sodas and sparkling water
A lot of food crammed into a tiny and pricey store. Always leave store having spent a bit… Good imported cheese selection but not as impressive as formerly, dairy choices ok but limited, meats are fresh, decent produce but pricey, fine selection of spices.

They have what you need on short notice. It's not a cheap store, quite the opposite. But the closeness come with a price, not surprising. I like it.

Bought from here today. Used to like that there were utensils in a set we could grab right by the entrance for fruits and such. Got told off by a man whom i presume works there when i grabbed utensils. He said that we shouldn't grab a handful because people actually need to use them and not just grab and run. This was a first for me who's been coming to grab ingredients for a barbecue at prospect for a while. I was really surprised because he rushed over and yeah i needed a few utensils since my family and my sisters would be meeting up but just needed 6 and i was counting them. My youngest brother got scared but i shrugged it off because i know people assume the worst by looks. The main factor aside from this interaction for my review is that the meat we bought was spoiled although it didn't look it at first glance. At least the vegetables were good and some of the cut fruit in bunches but not the mixed fruit.
The name makes you think of a kind of upscale farm shop, but apparently there aren't many farms in Brooklyn, so they get most of their wares in packaging. There was a good selection, so we were able to buy the food we required.
Some staples such as milk are more expensive than at the Food Town that's around the corner but the variety of options is bigger, especially the produce section. This ends up being my go to grocery store most of the time though because it's got everything I need, whereas the Mr Lime a block away doesn't carry meat or fish.
Drum roll for one of the best healthier options for lunch or dinner. All that is missing is a great white or red wine to complete the dinner ambiance at home. Customers services could use some work but I'm really here for the foooooood😘.
I live in Park Slope on 8th Ave. I've had them deliver from their Park Slope location nearly every day. They are consistently GREAT, fast, great selection, AND they have so far, gone out of their way to make me their REGULAR customer. So far, I am impressed! Only wish they had less processed foods, and more selection in produce, both fresh and frozen and at good prices, and raw nuts that aren't adulterated with "FLAVORINGS." Otherwise, I'd have to say that definitely I'd recommend them. One other thing, I'd like to be able to put a DOLLAR amount for the tip, rather than only be able to choose from their suggested tip amounts, which frankly seem too little.

I think of this place as a big bodega with a good meat selection. The prices are similar to a bodega. The staff is so rude it’s unprofessional and disrespectful. I keep coming back because it’s close to my place but can management please do something about this and them. If they don’t like servicing people I don’t understand why they work in this industry. The women who work the cash registers RUDE. It’s disgusting. Do better especially as people of color, I always try to raise other people of color up and it’s upsetting when you see the discrimination that happens from them and it’s to people of color.

They have very good sales and when you reach the cashier you pay the advertised price. Unlike Key Food a few blocks away on Nostrand and Winthrop avenue.Very clean and staff are polite and very helpful.
This place was always pricey, but decent and convenient if you live on the water. Ever since Covid though it has gone down hill. Most of the produce is 1-day from going bad (or already moldy), deli selection is terrible and tastes very processed / chemically, removed the olive bar, and seems like a lot of items haven't been restocked in awhile. Bought a granny cart and will be going to Whole Foods from now on.
Overall Great grocery store with good selection and very fair prices! Don't let the exterior fool you, this is a full blown grocery store on the inside and it's almost never too crowded. Glad I tried it out and will definitely be going regularly!
Well stocked and affordable as you'd expect a C Town supermarket to be. Note that this location is very small. Deducted 1 star because some common items aren't usually there like other C Towns or stores in the area (such as some leafy green veggies and some fresh fruits), and also because the supermarket is very tightly packed - aisles are very very narrow which makes it difficult to navigate, especially in the presence of other customers. Overall, you're likely to find everything you need including very fresh cuts of meat so it's a great store.
Coffee came extra hot so take care not burn your tongue. Solid drip, slightly cheaper than Starbucks. They also sell juice and there's a nice Korean style food bar next to it as well.
The market is clean with good variety, similarly priced to Whole Foods but without the crazy line. The manager is really nice, and would go out of his way to be kind to my toddler. Having such nice staff makes grocery shopping with small children less stressful.
The aisles here are delightfully jammed with food products from all over the world that reflect the various Williamsburg communities. They have an excellent and large selection of spices - especially compared to the other neighborhood grocers - at great prices. Some organic produce, all lovingly organized.
CTown is the go-to Williamsburg grocer for Latinx provisions - dried chilies, plantains, etc. - but they have so much more.

Well Stocked and Well Maintained. I moved here a few months ago and we ALWAYS stop by for some snacks or last minute dinner items. Kudos to the staff for always accommodating and treating their customers well 👏

Decent supermarket for those trips to restock in between major shopping trips but this supermarket is smallish and doesn't often offer enticing sales. More often than not, I find that they do not carry all of the ingredients I need for a given meal. However, this is a great location to visit if you are in a hurry because of its smaller size, shorter lines, and fast/efficient cashiers. Beware of packaged bread as it is often moldy.
The store is now called Steve’s 9th Ave Market. It’s a small. Clean store each time I’ve been there. Prices are typical and even a bit higher then Whole Foods... if that’s possible. Friendly staff and an organized checkout procedure.... unlike Whole Foods.
People need to stop lieing on this place ... This place is very sad ... They really don't have nothing ... They pull their stuff up front so it can look like it's full ... And all you have to do is push it back and nothing is there ... They need to keep updated with their stuff ... It's very sad for what we go through with this supermarket ... They always have expired food on the shelves. One time I bought a taco box that was 6 month’s expired. I didn’t know it was until I took a bite out of it and wondered why it tasted like that. They put out expired cheese and lots of other expired products. Some lady in the store told me to watch out for their meats because they like to change the expiration date on it. Just be careful when you shop there and ALWAYS look at the expiration date.
Let me just say, the customer service is on point. You are treated like family here and they show the people in the neighborhood great treatment and respect. I Always feel like a valued customer when shopping here and my money is well spent. I have been going here for over 10years and never had a problem. The store is not too big but the shelves are Always stacked and they do delivery the supply and demand for the flyer sales. They always have things stocked and more on the way. Lol...
Very clean, selection of meat is very good although portions for family size are small. You can find everything here. Get your pockets ready because it is very pricey. The employees are very cordial and a lot around to help. I rated it a 4 is after a certain amount $$$ they offer you something FREE - 40 bottle of water (Krasdale brand), a bag of 20 lb rice or a gallon of oil. Not all of the employees share this information, make sure you ask them. They also deliver.

She should cash out customers.. Using her judgement n common sense, for example if the supermarket is slow n she is not attending anyone, would be perfect example. Imagine the supervisor said it’s policy n did nothing to help the customer.. Me. I can’t blame her, I’m sure she had no training in customer service or supervision . Is that fair is to other cashiers.
Hoping management reads this n acknowledges all cashiers should be working.

Ridiculous pricing $ 6.99 for a small head of Iceberg Lettuce.

10. items or less cashier will not work n attend customers with 21 items.
She should cash out customers.. Using her judgement n common sense, for example if the supermarket is slow n she is not attending anyone, would be perfect example. Imagine the supervisor said it’s policy n did nothing to help the customer.. Me. I can’t blame her, I’m sure she had no training in customer service or supervision . Is that fair is to other cashiers.
Hoping management reads this n acknowledges all cashiers should be working.

Usually the staff is rude, slow, and unhelpful. I have bought expired food and they didn’t care at all and wouldn’t give a discount. Don’t come here if you’re in a rush or in an impatient mood. Cashiers take their time with their own conversations before acknowledging customers. Produce is gross, and the store is lacking in health foods in general. But there are better stores for those 3 blocks west or 2 blocks east. At least they have a good soda and beer selection.
A good neighborhood supermarket. Large enough for stand alone deli (fish counter is gone or reduced). Small enough for a personal touch. Excellent produce choices.

Like most local supermarkets. They have your need on items.
It's pricey but worth it! Fresh flowers, huge variety of fruits & vegetables, hot & cold deli, prepared foods and more. I only gave 3 stars, because of witnessing staff being treated in a humiliating manner by either a manager or the owner. The manager was scolding the entire produce dept. outside, on the public sidewalk, in front of the store! I found it to be very unprofessional and was embarrassed for the staff and for myself. It really was a bit shocking to have to see & hear that at the entrance to the store.
Nice local supermarket to get your grocery at great prices. They have good deals for meats, frozen food, or shelves not so much on produce. Very nice and helpful employees there.
I have lived in this area for a long time and have seen mice running between the isles and dead rats near their loading dock. Mold in the fresh produce is very common and have seen them selling products that are 2+ months past expiration day (like the picture blow taken on march 10th 2021).
