Came here for my boyfriends birthday. We were in the dining area, our server, Bailey was wonderful, but Chanel or Shanelle (Sorry I didn't ask how to spell it!), stole the show.
5 stars to her. Everything was absolutely delicious, however, we had an issue during dinner, and she witnessed and handled it professionally, sweetly and with empathy and understanding. We won't be returning any time soon, but I definitely recommend being seated in her area, you won't be disappointed!

With Joey’s being one of my favourite restaurants It’s really hard to disappoint me. This afternoon I got to enjoy Joey’s at their early happy hour. Had an amazing time. The Choice selections were also amazing but my server threw it over the top. SHENELLE was so attentive and was so patient with my children. Her service was amazing always checking in on us, making sure that our meal was going great and paid attention to little things like refilling our drinks without having to be asked. When I go out and spend my money, This is the type of service I love to get thanks for another great experience , Joey’s!
One of the better chicken places that I like to order from and take home I'm not interested in staying in the restaurant but they do serve very hot chicken meaning, not so much on the spicy side if you but you can get it. Hot meaning you can barely touch the chicken until you get home. I tried to eat some of it in the car not possible, too hot. I love the crunch on the outside of the chicken
It's been many years coming at this location. But with time at every trip I have found this location not so clean. All the tables left dirty. Left over food stayed at the table and no any staff members get notice and bring efforts to clean the dinning area. Also it's too loud noise coming from the kitchen.
The worst experience I had today.. washroom has a smell and it made me feel like 🤮.. I understand if they are busy then it might be tough but it’s not busy and the tables are not cleaned. When I said the girl to just spray air freshener because we are sitting just beside the washroom. She said me I have to ask the manager.. like how it is related it’s just the air freshener.. you guys have to handle it very wisely
Recommend checking this sport out if you're in the mood for some roti and curry. We stopped by yesterday and the food portions were great, the food was delicious and came quickly, and the service was great too! I really liked their sour - which we got with the poulourie and egg balls. Highly recommend!!
Excellent Joey's location. The day we went for lunch, they gave us a free champagne sample. 😋. The staff are friendly and the service is really good. The food is delicious. They have some tasty bowls. Really nice atmosphere.
Come to this spot if you looking for a nice and trendy spot to hangout and enjoy good food with friends. Prepare to wait if you have no reservation cause lots of people already know that Joeys is where it’s at! I came on a Tuesday night after work to celebrate my friend’s birthday. The evening started off with a complimentary glass of Prosecco ( and that’s a lovely touch that set the tone for an evening of excellent customer service. Taylor, or waitress, was very attentive and patient ( Lord knows we worked her last nerve trying to place our order, but she was gracious, warm, and smiled and never made us feel rushed). I tweaked one of the orders to suit my pallet and she made sure the kitchen staff was able to do the switch. She was even kind enough to take our pictures and gave no attitude when we asked for retake. Service from order to table was not ridiculous ( and trust me I would kind cause I was famished. The food was great. I was even more happy that I didn’t pay extra for switching out the chicken from my Mediterranean salad. The service was superb and the environment was perfect to celebrate. We were not rushed to give up the table ( and yes, it’s cause we were there when it was not outrageously busy). The complimentary birthday brownies were just enough for two and tasted so good. I always enjoy my time at Joeys and this evening out didn’t not disappoint. Thanks for the excellent service, Taylor! Our night was truly memorable
Overall, my experience at The Roti Hut was delightful. I left with a full stomach and a smile on my face. I can’t wait to return and explore more of the menu! Highly recommend to anyone looking for delicious Caribbean cuisine!
Had a great dining experience at Joey! We ordered one appetizer for share, and our server, Jamie Lee, went the extra mile by having it split into two beautifully plated portions for easy sharing. Very thoughtful. And, the food was flavorful, with each dish beautifully presented.
Fantastic place for a family outing! We had such a great experience, especially thanks to Amirah at the counter. She was incredibly friendly and cooperative, making us feel right at home. Her service was outstanding, and the food arrived in just 5 minutes, which was impressively quick. Highly recommend this spot for both the atmosphere and the exceptional service!
Got my hands on a veggie roti today and, wow... it was incredible! This place never misses. Every bite was like a burst of flavor and comfort—my stomach is literally doing a happy dance. If you're looking for food that satisfies both your cravings and your soul, this is the spot. Plus, the cashier was so kind and accommodating—top-notch service to match the food. Highly recommend! You won’t be disappointed.
Another fabulous experience at Joeys. The day manager (I think her name is Amanda) at the Don Mills restaurant is an absolutely wonderful human being. Super friendly and happy to help. My server Angelica was amazing and the food was outstanding as always. I love the grilled chicken sandwich with a gluten free bun and their side salad. It is always served hot and fresh. And the salad is delicious. The tiny strawberry cheesecake was perfect to end the meal.
Everything was delicious. The atmosphere was really nice and had a pretty solid meal. The cauliflower appetizer was really tasty and that chocolate lava cake is exceptional. The rib steak was quite nice but perhaps on the expensive side for the quality of the cut but it was cooked perfectly. Staff was very attentive and the atmosphere is really nice.
I recently dined here with my family and was quite disappointed with the experience. We were seated on the upstairs patio around 7:40 PM, where we ordered appetizers and drinks for the five of us. While our server was pleasant and attentive, we encountered a significant issue when our main courses arrived around 8:15 PM.
At that point, we were informed that it was the last call for food and drinks because the manager had decided to close the upstairs patio early. This decision was particularly frustrating since we had just started our meals and hadn't even had the chance to order additional drinks or desserts. My father-in-law, understandably upset, questioned the server about the abrupt closure, only to be told we could pay for our meal on the patio and then move downstairs for any additional orders, as the rest of the restaurant would remain open.
This approach seemed quite baffling. If the patio was closing early, it would have made more sense to either not seat guests there or inform us of the early closure when we arrived. We were left feeling quite dismayed as we finished our meals.
As for the food, the appetizers were satisfactory, and my family's dishes were fine. However, my fish tacos were extremely dry and rubbery. Given the early closure and inability to order more food, I only managed to eat one taco out of necessity and left the rest. Overall, it was an unfortunate and frustrating evening.

If you’re looking to have an actual taste of a traditional shawarma to take you to Turkey, you should definitely try Viva shawarma. Not only the food is great the customer service is also amazing.
Food quality of Popeyes has gone down so bad !! The chicken pieces were tiny and tasteless. Service was ok. The staff is loud and speaks/ yell in Gujarati with each other. Disregarding the guests and members standing at the counter.

The is a great place for fast shawarma. It was my first visit. The lady at the counter was very friendly, made excellent recommendations. We got the beef plate and the chicken wrap. Loved the food. Beef and chicken were tender, cooked in spices. Veggies were crisp, sauces were excellent. In all, we spent $25 for 2 dishes and it filled 3 of us. 😋🥙
First time ordering from easymealz. The delivery is super smooth. They constantly keep you updated through text if you click their text message link. I will try again.

A friend referred this restaurant to us so we decided to try it. We called ahead to see if they had any doubles and pholourie left which they didn't but could make more if we wanted. When we got there it was about ready so didn't wait long and man it was delicious. The restaurant is very clean and comfortable, the service nice, friendly and professional.
Tried another pre-made food delivery service before for a year and it was not reliable. Easy Mealz experience has been fantastic so far for the 2 weeks I have been using it. Delivery is reliable, you can track it and will get updates on progress. My food gets here by 11am on Sunday so I can enjoy it fresh for lunch or dinner. One thing I would change is the packaging - the lids seem loose and not stopping air so if you have rice or pasta dish - it can get dry after 4-5 days in the fridge.
We've finished our first week of 5 Easymealz and are very happy with the portion size, flavour, nutrition and convenience. It is a great value compared to other delivery options. My wife and I are both seniors and lately can't cook much, so Easymealz fills the gap (and our tummies). Only thing I don't like is you can't swap out individual mealz if you subscribe to the 5 meal package.
This would be the 4th or 5th meal service I have used. My gripes usually are;
- Not enough calories
- Not enough protein
- Too expensive
EasyMealz manages to fix these issues. I find the meals are MUCH more filling and large than other services at this price point, which fits my lifestyle. Easy Mealz is the third delivery company I've tried. The others offered meals that were not filling and while I generaly eat once a day, I found that they were unfulfilling and I was "snacking between snacks". With Easy Mealz I get the larger Protein + size meals and they leave me satisfied. The packaging is recyclable and reheating in a microwave is a snap. Overall, Easy Mealz is the best of the options I have tried. The food is tasty and prepared well, the menu has a good variety and delivery is dependable. I have no complaints.
It's been 3 weeks now that I've been using this service and I have to admit it's made weeknight meals so much easier to actually deal with, it's cheaper than most other services and it let's you get 5 meals instead of most places that make you pick 6. Foods always different and every meal has been delicious. I think im going to run this for the rest of the work season.

Go-to roti spot with good vibes and service. Dhal is always pillowy, curry goat was tender and flavourful, and doubles were amazing. Portions are good too — a $20 a meal fed 2-3 of us
My last visit here was a solid 8.7/10. I don’t remember my servers name but he was a white guy. First server in a long time who actually went over the menu briefly and was attentive. This was a weekend too
We attended a wedding held recently at this fantastic venue and straight away I must say it was a 5 star venue. CK Chenthuran the mercurial Hall Manager runs a very tight ship and also each and every one of his staff exhibited genuine care, courtesy and service. There was ample parking and the also the decor was very colurful and tastefully done. The food was delicious and enjoyed by the large multi cultural attendees and included pasta, poutine and hopper stations in addition to the buffet. The dessert table was laden with a multitude of mouth watering items. The sound system was excellent and the ceiling lighting extremely colourful. Everyone left happy and contended.

Had my wedding here recently and CK and his team were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. If we had any questions or concerns and CK would advise us calmly and was super patient and helpful. On March 31st we had a Saree Ceremony, and everything was amazing! The food was awesome! All of my guests thought the food was very delicious. The service was incredible! Senthuran did a spectacular job in making everything look very beautiful. Everything was very well organized! I highly recommend having your events at Kennedy Convention Centre. A big thanks to Senthuran for making this event feel complete and making everything perfect!
An absolutely amazing team of wedding planners and staff. I have hosted multiple events here from birthdays, anniversaries and just this week my brothers wedding. They made sure every detail was carefully handled as per our family requests and made sure that the event flowed on a timely schedule. The food was amazing :)

This is single-handedly the best Shawarma shop I’ve come across in the last 20 years. The food is 200/10 everyone is so kind. The food is cooked with love!!! I live in Pickering and it’s totally worth the drive! You also get you moneys worth!
I just went to the Moxies restaurant for dessert and had their Sticky Toffee Pudding, which was delicious. Mya, my waitress, was really kind and quick in bringing me a to-go box when I asked for one. The pudding tasted great, and Mya's outstanding service made the visit much more enjoyable. Would unquestionably suggest this location.
We had my mother’s birthday celebration and everyone had a wonderful time and experience. Throughout the entire time from planning and during the party, we received exceptional service and attention with our requests prioritized by all the staff we met and dealt with. Worst subway I have ever been to, I didn’t know it that is possible to make a sub that bad.
Picked up mobile dinner order and brought back home. Wanted to try new wings and old favourites. Portions of wings are laughable. Nothing like the pictures and container is too large. We tried hot and Parmesan flavours and both were outrageously salty. Rice in my rice and beans was very old and dry. As if it was sitting out all day. Service was very fast and friendly though.
I discovered Roti Hut on TSN Radio First Up and decided to try their Curry Goat Roti. The flavors were rich, showcasing quality ingredients. For spice lovers, it might be a tad mild, but the well-balanced combination and tender goat meat make it a delightful treat. Pro tip: don't forget to ask for hot sauce!
Relatively small store but very clean. Staff is very friendly, they pay detailed attention to your requests and I must say that I did put them to the test asking several requests, each one of it was handled with care.
Food was well prepared, I purchased 2 plate of beef and chicken, because I saw one of the staff was making a plate for another customer and it looked very good, hence I also asked for the same.

On December 9th, 2023, we had my daughter's sweet sixteenth birthday party and it was truly a fantastic experience. Senthuran cooperated with us so well and went above and beyond, as well as the staff. It was such excellent customer service! The food was amazing and overall we are 100% satisfied with the service that was provided to us by Senthuran. We will definetly refer our friends and family! Once again thank you so much for your excellent service!

Had a very nice experience on my birthday. I, my husband along with my toddler was welcomed by them as soon we reach there. Service was really very very good. We took margarita with coronita upside down, chicken burger and white chocolate brownie. All of them was superb. Will definitely visit again.

Today I happen to be the area working on a project, and had not eaten in hours, the traffic was terrible, so I turned into Pitfield hoping to avoid traffic and find a a convenience store, when I spotted the Roti Hut! It was still in the same spot. It was bigger, and it had been rebranded, but when I was hit by the lovely sents of spices, I thought, could it still be as good 40 years later? Can I tell you that it might be bigger it might be shinier, but the one thing that did change was the amazing taste of their Roti!!! In a world where little stays the same, it was amazing to eat something that was super tasty the first time and still super tasty now. It was such a nostalgic experience. If you love Roti....go to the Roti Hut, you will not regret it. I ordered my Roti spicy with boneless chicken and channel with extra gravy.....it was unforgettable the first time, and it is unforgettable 40 years later. There are not a lot of restaurants that have this kind of consistency after all these years!!!!!

It's one of the good shawarma restaurants in our neighborhood. The portions are decent, and the store is impeccably clean. The staff are polite. Definitely recommend it!
I went there to had a sub, there was no one in the store, I was the only customer. The employee kept on ignoring me I was waiting for her to start making my order, I started ordering and she just cut me in the middle and went, she just asked me my choice of bread and went again, I was standing and waiting for so long that I had to leave without getting anything and the subway employee didn’t even bother to stop me and kept ignoring. Store management should really look into this, who are they keeping and how are they attending customers.
Came 15 mins before closing today and the woman that was working had the door locked, she opened with a very ugly attitude ‘what do you want?’ We clearly wanted to order but her body language and tone of voice was horrible. Never coming back again.
Never had such a terrible Subway sandwich. Very few toppings. I counted four pieces of green pepper. Experience has turned me off Subway.
This place is absolutely disgusting from the food to the store itself. Staff no glove when serving the food into the packages. Dirty not clean, floors garbage everywhere, tables food all over them and the washroom the picture say it all puke, doo doo in the garbage/toilet and floor. Metro Licencing needs to visit this place and shut it down. Staff don't care after showing them the mess and pictures. Food is horrible the poutines look like barf as you see in the picture. I can only emagine whats behind the counter and kitchen how disgusting it could be. If you love yourself you should not eat here avoid food poison.
Quick and friendly service! They gave us a pretty cute seat in the corner over looking outside the window !! I love their lettuce chicken wrap starters… really yumm !!! Their entrees never disappoint!! A shout out to the night manager there, very friendly and suggested a great wine !!
Mediocre today compared to the many times I've been here. Not sure what it was but roti didn't have the same flavour or consistency was more dry today not much 'fluffy' to the wrap like it used to be today was super thick and too doughy and not much sauce.. maybe just a one off.

This visit was for a girl's night out. We loved everything except for the chipotle mango chicken. It was spicy but had no other seasoning. A little salt would have helped. The sticky toffee pudding was the best one I ever had. The wings and sweet potato fries were very good. Our server was great.
Worst experience due to just one person. Online it says open till 10pm. Called in @9:40 pm. But the store person said we’re closed and the REASON: “ I have to close the store and go home” ??? Are you serious? People plan their dinner accordingly. I understand it wasn’t right on my part to call just before closing of the store but THIS IS NOT EVEN BASIC CUSTOMER SERVICE (Not even mentioning the worst experience)
Went to Moxie's for an impromptu lunch after a movie. Service was great! We were seated right away. Food tastes great and was served fairly quickly. We ordered the Prawn Tagliatelle, Chicken Alfredo, and Blackened Shrimp Tacos. For dessert, we got the Bite Of Brownie, which is just a mini version of Moxie’s famous White Chocolate Brownie (a must-order dessert in my opinion). Nice private seating arrangements and classy atmosphere. Clean and aesthetic bathrooms.
Just finished my first order with Easy Mealz and really wish I had done this sooner. I've always stayed away from meal prep services because I assumed the portion sizes would be too small and the food itself wouldn't taste that great. Easy Mealz has definitely proven me wrong. Theres a solid variety of options to choose from and they all taste great. Serving sizes are definitely enough.
Horrible restaurant. The owner stated that they do not accommodate people who do not eat pork and wouldn’t make an adjustment to a sandwich that I was ordering. She was incredibly word. We are a black couple and we feel this was racial motivated. She was rude the whole time. We just ended up leaving. DO NOT GO THERE! Supporting these type of businesses keeps them in business.
My last two experiences at this location earned them this overwhelming review.
Experience one: my wife and I walked In to order subs and were informed that we had to wait while the employee at the counter processed an UBER EATS order. The employee then made four sandwiches and rang up the order for a driver who wasn't even there to pick up the food. The employee then told us we'd have to wait until the order was paid for by the non-present driver. Ten minutes later the driver shows up and pays, then the employee asks what we'd like to order - REALLY?
Experience two: we walked back in here a month after experience one, the open sign was turned on and the employee was serving a customer. We waited our turn in line, the employee competed the first customers order then looked at us and said "sorry we're closed" I looked at them funny and said "You can't be serious, we've been standing here for five minutes" the employee responded with "So?"
We left disgusted, the employee did not lock the door or turn off the open sign and as we got into our car we sat there and watched the same thing happen to another customer 90 seconds later.
So Do not be deceived, because apparently their open sign being turned on does not mean they're actually open!
This location could learn a thing or two about customer service which is why they'll no longer be serving our family as customers.

Food was good but the staff really need to get their stuff together. I ordered a foot long meatball, and after a meatball fell out of the sandwich into the counter in front of me, the staff member just stuck it back in like nothing happened. When adding vegetables, the staff member was at the bottom of a bin of tomatoes with tiny slices, and decided to finish those off instead of using the new bin next to it. I'm not saying it's that bad to do these things, but try not to do it in front of the customers.
