This small 4-person-staffed restaurant is not to be missed. We loved the banana empanada, the beef stew, and the trout. Everything is freshly prepared, and you can see the chefs as they prepare each dish. By the way, the portion size of the main dishes is not small at all. We ordered too much and did not have room for dessert :-D
Extremely tasty food ! Specialized in quinoa dishes. I had an appetizer with quinoa and llama meat and the poke bowl con trucha. Both were amazing. I didn’t get to try the quinoa burger but it seemed like one of their famous dishes.

This restaurant is underrated, it should be full all the time! Great contemporary Bolivian food, great presentation, ideal location, reasonably priced, good service. The atmosphere is just all right. But the food really is the star.

I don’t write a lot of reviews but this one is worth it!! We had such a great 3-course lunch here. Probably one of the best meals we’ve had in our lives. So delicious and prepared with lots of attention to detail. Value for money is incredible (especially when you’re used to European / US prices). We got two seats at the bar in front of the kitchen. Super interesting to watch the cooks prepare the dishes.

Definitiv ein Must-Do wenn du in La Paz bist. Es ist etwas schwierig zu finden, in einem unscheinbaren Innenhof die Treppe hoch. Offenbar hatten wir Glück, gleich einen Tisch zu bekommen. Der Kellner meinte, es sei heute ruhig (alle Tische waren besetzt) denn normalerweise stehen die Leute die Treppe hinunter an.
Das Essen ist eine absolute Geschmacksexplosion! Auch das Personal ist freundlich und kompetent. Wir fühlten uns rundum wohl. Es gibt 3 Gänge, inkl. einem Fruchtsaft und Wasser für insgesamt 79 Bolivians (also etwa 14usd) pro Person. Soooo ein tolles Erlebnis für uns!

Estábamos de paso por el lugar y decidimos entrar a probar su almuerzo del día. De entrante tenían crema de chairo y tucumana de papas a la huancaina, pedimos la tucumana pero era solamente una empanada pequeña con relleno de papa, un pequeño pedazo de huevo y salsa de maní, venía con una cama de lechugas y tomate pero no tenía queso. De plato fuerte elegimos lasagna de queso humacha que si tenía buen sabor pero nada memorable. El postre salvo todo el almuerzo porque tenia muy buen sabor y presentación. La relación precio calidad no me parece buena, el almuerzo cuesta 50 bs pero no me parece algo que vaya acorde al precio. Aparte pedimos sodas artesanales que estaban bien de sabor y venían en un vaso grande por 15bs cada una. Te dan pan pita con Llajua al llegar pero el pancito tampoco estaba rico. El lugar si es limpio y ordenado pero le falta algo de vida, los meseros también necesitan más energía para atender y conocimiento del menú porque cuando pregunté como era la otra opción de plato fuerte no supo explicarme porque no sabía ni qué era.

Cosy place in the middle of the touristic area of La Paz. The food was fantastic.
You have to arrive early to get a table because everyone wants to go there.

Cosy atmosphere, competent and friendly service. Had English menus. Food was very good (and plenty), exquisitely prepared and accompanied by different sauces and spices to rev the flavour up.
The place is really cute and the food is great!

Outstanding meal and great value too! Only open at lunch and only accommodates about 50 people a day, so be sure to arrive about 30-40mins before opening time to be one of them! Foodie visitors to La Paz do not want to miss this!
Three course menu with three choices each for starter and main, and two for desert. Veggies (like me) have one option each for 1st and 2nd courses but both were delicious! Price includes bread and a choice of two homemade juices.
The flavours, presentation and service were fantastic. I've eaten in some fancy places and the food here is up with the best, BUT at only 79bs per head, an absolute bargain. I still can't quite believe it!

Excellent food, well presented and with complex interesting flavours. Small but exciting menu. Very impressed.
My friends brought me to this gem - first I was irritated why so many people are waiting, but the food let me know why. Absolutely stunning taste and presentation. Each course is described by the staff and served with pride. The details and fresh ingredients make this meal to an excellent experience. Highly recommend to come here. Ideal 20min before opening hours to get a spot.

A very interesting concept: putting Bolivian food in a hamburger or taco. The combinations are interesting and very tasteful. The prices are reasonable. The place is simple but has its own personality. Try it!
Had lunch there as part of our city tour, and truly enjoyed the concept. This is an open kitchen, where you see the chefs at work. They do not take reservations, so get there early.

I would never have guessed that vegetarian burger can be such tasty! Quinoa burger is the best choise from the menu. Waiter was very helpful and kind. Very good prices and really nice place in La Paz.

Awesome Restaurant with fresh and orgánic food. A lot of vegtable and some vegan options, and most of the food is gluten free. If you look for a nice lunch or dinner spot besides the tourstic popular restaurant this is a really good choice. We went here twice and took the quinoa burger - so delicious! Highly recommended!

I'm surprised by the quality of food here. And Price is pretty reasonable too especially in this high end area. I had trout fish, it was so delicious pretty and good portion for 55bs. My husband had Pork and he seemed pretty satisfied with that too. Waitress was very attentive and friendly. Definitely coming back for that fish.

I don't understand the low scores. It's 12 Bolivianos for a dinner set menu (about $2 US). It's simple vegetarian food but it's tasty and an amazing value.
