My absolute favorite restaurant in OBK. The pasta & pizzas are fresh and delicious! I’m sad I’m moving and won’t be able to dine here on a regular basis, but I will definitely be back when visiting Düsseldorf. Our server also added to our experience as he was always so kind and patient with us English speaking expats. Danke Hot La Cucina! We will miss you!
I celebrated my Birthday at Lido Medienhafen, and we had such a lovely surprise. The restaurant view is breathtaking, even being cloudy outside. The food was delicious. And the service was so special! We are going to be back, for sure! Thank you Lido Hafen team for making our evening so unique.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! The young waiter with the beard was extremely rude! Our food was over 1 hour late and he told me very rudely that he will serve other customers (who came after me) first! And told me I should just leave and not cook my food!! Horrible attitude (discrimination against me) and rude!!!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! worst experience ever. the waiter with the black beard was extremely unfriendly because we are not German (I guess) and on purpose did not put our order in. one and a half hours later he said we are busy we didn't cook it yet should we cancel? we cancelled the order and paid for the drinks we ordered and the lame starter salad which was tasteless and had very poor quality. The bread they served was very cold and hard. 0 knowledge of hospitality, 0 respect for guests. A ruined Sunday night. I would go to Saittavini next door.. waaaay better
Actually one of the best pizza places in pempelfort - however the service is terrible and restaurant dirty.
We waited 15 mins to be seated - even though 6 tables were free. The tables were not cleaned up and once we asked to order the waiter said they are busy.

Went there to have dinner. It’s amazing!! We ordered pizza with spinach, mushroom and ham, tomato soup and vongole. Love everything!! Plus, the owner was so nice and friendly. Really had a good time there
Authentisches Essen und sehr große Portionen. Qualität ist trotz der Menge sehr gut. Das Restaurant hat nur noch einen außer Haus Service. Deshalb die geringen Punkte beim Ambiente.

Great food, absolutely delicious. From the first bite it’s obvious you’re not eating generic Asian food but something special, although I may have a weakness for handmade noodles.

I love this place, not fancy like the overrated Neapolitan pizza at 20 euros, just an established family owned business, genuine, authentic, with a lovely staff and delicious pizza. I loved the dough. I also love the clients, families, business people, people from the hood, it really gives me good vibes! Will surely be back!
You know the pizza is authentic and delicious when it's from an Italian-run pizzeria. The high quality of food here is to be matched only by its warm and friendly service. This place is a hidden gem in the neighbourhood. You won't regret coming here.

Probably the best pizza in Dusseldorf. It is big (really big) and delicious. The price is definitely the best for this value. Because not only I know it, the place is always full. Even that they have opened a second restaurant in the 10 minutes walking distance, the new place is full as well. I recommend to book in advance😉. Pizza to go is also a great solution:)

And that one star doesn’t even represent what we experienced tonight. Incredibly poor service and definitely appalling manners to speak to customers. There is absolutely no excuse to speak to even your worst enemy the way we were spoken to tonight- for no fault of ours btw!

When we sat down, we ordered out drinks and food and again the waiter (it seems that he was the son of the owner) forgot the order, and asked in a rather „off“ way for repetition, but no problem, we were not bothered and were friendly towards all staff we had contact with.
Our food arrived, and we were told by the waiter that he would suggest that we kept out dog quiet. The dog had been quiet and had barked twice shortly in response to the dog at the neighbouring table.
We questioned this and the waiter apologised.
This is when his dad- the owner (?) came and started shouting at us in the most obnoxious and rude way I have ever experienced!
He told us that if we didn’t like being spoken to in this way, we should leave.
I pointed put to him that he wasn’t actually aware of the situation and therefore it would probably be advisable to not get involved as the waiter (his son) had actually apologised?
He then repeated that if we didn’t not like how he spoke to us we should leave, and he repeated this one more time. Maybe drinking on the job triggers such behaviour???
Clearly, as a guest, we don’t need to be told to leave three times, especially, as there was nothing that we had done wrong.
We wanted to pay- his son (clearly embarrassed by what happened) in fact then wanted to give us the food as a take-away. As a frequent guest, having come here many times- I am truly shocked by this behaviour- and would recommend anyone who is friendly and expects the same back from people- to NOT go there!!!

I really loved it here! The store is located a little bit outside the area where you might casually pass is, thus it took me a long time to notice it but I can definitely recommend a visit here! The food was really good and the staff very friendly. Personally, I also think the pricing is very fair! And the interior design doesn’t miss as well 🌸💫
I’ve been twice now and the staff are very accommodating. Truly the best Asian food I’ve had in Germany. Get the “Ein Regenbogen” colorful dumplings. My friends are Muslim and asked for no pork and they adjusted the order to be only chicken and veggie. I ordered the same main meal both times I was there – “Heiße Platter mit Hühnerbrust”. You won’t regret it!
Had the 4 course menu for EUR 39 and it was a feast! Portions were generous and food was delicious.
Immer noch nur zum Mitnehmen geöffnet, Vorbestellung über eigenen Online-Shop funktionierte problemlos. Kartenzahlung möglich. Das Essen war extrem authentisch Thai, wie man es in Deutschland kaum findet. Scharf, lecker, teilweise exotisch, muss man mögen!

We had been eagerly anticipating a visit to this restaurant due to its excellent reviews, and it certainly lived up to its reputation. The pizzas were incredibly delicious, fresh, and of exceptional quality, with the added bonus of generous portions at awesome prices! Despite having to change our seats twice, the waiter was very friendly and polite. However, I must note that although we arrived and placed our order at 15:33, our food didn't arrive until 16:37, which felt a bit lengthy for pizza. We assume there might have been a shortage of staff or some technical issues that day. Nevertheless, owing to the excellent service and delectable food, we happily award the restaurant 5 stars.
A little bit disappointed but the service was good but a little clumsy sometimes. The food on the other hand…. The steak tartare was way to big and the caviar isn't worth the “upgrade”. The duck breast was good but you’re getting thinly sliced pieces so don’t expect a good tender duck breast. Then the scallops were cooked to far and the garnish tasted like a sour piccalilli. Weird combo and €16 for 1,5 scallop is a bit below expectations. The pigeon was cooked decent but the gnocchi as a garnish is very strange. Little to no sauce so the gnocchi is just a pointy dough on the plate. They call it “cupped noodle”. The venison was good and cooked to perfection, but the garnish cooled down very quickly.
Unfortunately we didn’t took a dessert because we had seen enough.

One of the best dinners I had in Dusseldorf. Would recommend the king prawns and the sea bass. The lamb chops were good but slightly overcooked.
Desserts were amazing! Please try the panna cotta…
However they do not entertain walk in even if the restaurant is empty. You would need to make a reservation.

Nothing fancy here in terms of design or food concept, but the dishes we tried (vegetarian pizza Italia "tricolore" and tagliatelle with salciccia) were tasty and in good size. It's a good option for lunch break if you're in the neighborhood.

Sehr gutes und qualitativ gutes, leckeres Essen. Die Speisekarte ist übersichtlich. DerService ist gut und die Stimmung ist familiär und fröhlich. Jederzeit zu empfehlen. Die Terrasse erscheint mir attraktiver als das schlauchähnliche Restaurant. Klein, aber fein.

I can understand the mixed reviews for this place... I had dinner here when in town for a conference and pretty hangry, and it was exactly what I needed! But I can imagine that anyone looking for an Italian fine dining experience may be disappointed. This place is truly Italian, for sure, large portions of quality food and tasty, and music pairing with the food (read: the unavoidable Italian classics). But the food is robust, and so is the wine... still, a good and much enjoyed meal, exactly what I needed! (oh yes, excellent service by true Italians)

The location of this restaurant is simply amazing, we loved the view and the atmosphere. The service was nice and friendly. We were excited to visit it after the re-opening, but were disappointed. The food was ok, nothing really special, but the risotto was truly awful. Maybe I had too high expectations

We made the reservation 2 weeks before. We were seated by the door and they wouldn’t close it because supposedly the air in the back was too “stuffy”. We were cold, we asked to be moved which wasn’t possible also. And the guy was just plain rude about it, even told us next time to plan better. WHAT?! Never again. Nor do we recommend. Food wasn’t that great either.
One of my favourite local places for the Thursday dinner:

The MANGO SALAD was amazing: hot, fresh, so unique and so tasty (~8 €).
The CHICKEN NUDELS was one of the best I have ever eaten. Colorful, high quality Nudels, and the sauce was not less than perfect, with full of flavor, but perfectly balanced (~16 €).
And finally the desert (they have only one dessert), the COCONUT PUDDING WITH ICE CREAM was big enough to share, and it was addictive, not less (~6 €).
Above everything, the SERVICE was very friendly!

Great dinner spot for pasta, especially their truffle pasta. Great texture and taste! Service is really good as well.
Super delicious chinese food! Their rainbow dumplings were really good. It came with 3 different types (chicken, pork & veggie). The sauce was so yummy! For main dish I got the hot plate with chicken breast, veggies, cashew nuts and their special sauce with homemade noodles. Everything tasted so good that I will definitely come back to try other dishes!
The owner contacted the office who reserved our place in the restaurant that we did not show up for our reservation. That is not true! We confirmed our arrival by CR code. The restaurant did not offer all the food on the menu and that was the reason we left. The owner was not happy we left the restaurant, but not professional to do as if we did not show up
Pizza da Gino was great. Cozy Italian atmosphere. Don't hesitate to ask Gino for some shots, especially his homemade Limoncello is delicious.
Excellent pizza and pasta. The lasagne al forno (in the oven) was an apocalypse! Also the tiramisu was delicious. The prices were really cheap in comparison to the high quality food.the service was a beat slow because they also had many delivery orders to serve

The food is delicious, clean and I love that the homes are lately making them with recyclable containers. They take care of the environment. I have been eating with them for more than two years and I have no complaints. They are very kind, clean, friendly and fast.
Had A spinach Champignons Pizza, Cheesy pasta and Tiramisu at this little place. The food was very yummy at such low price, the staff is also very hospital. Loved the food. Would like to go there again..

They speak little English and there is no English menu. Food was not that tasty, but that that might be my preference. I've had Thai food before and I liked it, but this time not so much. Drink was taken after asking for the check, although I remember I still had some.

We had a delicious meal with fantastic service for a very reasonable price. The waiter explained every dish in perfect English. We chose pumpkin and lemongrass soup and pasta to start followed by the duck and the liver main courses and the vanilla ice cream and plum dessert. It was the best food we have tasted for a long time in a lovely atmosphere.
The whole night was great. The staff was awesome and the food was delicious, especially the glazed pear dessert.
Amazing Pizza, friendly staff and really fair prices. I definitely recommend going there. Only downside are the limited seats in the outside, so be sure to reserve a table I'm advance! :)
Hidden germ. Went there couple of times. Their chef is Italian( both the boss and the cook too)! Price is reasonable and food quality is much better than in the old town, just 3 tram station from Hauptbahnhof. Worth going there for lunch and dinner. Pizza and pasta are great!
This was my second time at Imerio. Last time I ate a very good lamsrack and I was very satisfied. This time I ordered the same. Unfortunately I got a lamsback which is not the same. They said it was the same soft Meat, which is not. They didn't informed me before that there was no lamsrack anymore which had could give me thè oppurtunity to make a choice. I accepted the dish. I was very disappointed. There was no feedback while I Did make a complain. Even when we ask the bill there was no feedback. I was very disappointed. I will not recommend this restaurant to my Friends.
