Best buckwheat crepe I have ever ate! The crew of the restaurant is sweet and kind and immediately makes you feel at home.
Went by earlier today for lunch.
This cute restaurant in Thamel has really classy international Cuisine available from a humble salad, pizza, pasta and local food.
The staff is very polite and very attentive. I also enjoyed their different seating area that created multiple different vibes with a small space.

A good dining experience so we came back a second time and we're happy. Fast friendly service, very full and freshly baked pizzas and a tasty ( but small?) salad. The happy hour beers are good value.
A perfect place for crepes! They also have traditional Nepali dishes and so many other choices of different kinds of food.
The owner of the restaurant is very nice and polite 🥰 Strongly recommended to come for breakfast and lunch. The vibe is also great as they have so many outdoor seats.
Btw their honey is another recommended item. Dont miss it if you go to Thamel. 😍

There is an ample amount of seating space. Not sure about the parking space though.

Love this place! Chilled, friendly and helpful staff. Food is delicious - their fruit juices, momo’s and avocado/dragon fruit salad. We came here after 2 weeks trekking and were craving some fruit/veg - salad was amazing. Way back in 2019 we also visited this place and it sure has kept up its mark - tasty food, friendly service etc. Thank you!
Absolutely loved this place! We came for a feast after our 12 day trek, everything was amazing and just what we wanted. Staff were lovely and menu is great with plenty of choice. Will be back!

Really good quality food. I had the avocado and dragon fruit salad and it was very filling, healthy and delicious. The service is good, the place is very relaxing and chill. Prices are higher than average in Kathmandu, even for Thamel. It’s worth it if you want salads or healthy food.

Ein gutes Restaurant mit gemütlicher Atmosphäre inmitten des touristischen Stadtteils Thamel. Es befindet sich direkt neben dem gleichnamigen Hotel und wird auch deshalb eher von Touristen als von einheimischen genutzt. Auch abends kann man sich hier sicher bewegen. Wer an einem Tag beim Essen keine Experimente möchte und sich auf gutes europäisches Essen verlassen will, ist hier genau richtig. Das Essen (Momo, Cheesy Jalapeño balls, Salami Pizza, Truffle Pasta) war sehr lecker und wurde schnell zum Tisch gebracht. Der Service von Anup war sehr gut. Die Auswahl auf der Karte hat uns ebenfalls gut gefallen. Eine klare Empfehlung für dieses Restaurant.

Best thenthuk soup 💛 paneer momos were also delicious. Stuff was very friendly and spoke English. We will definitely come back!
My craving for pizza was complete after today’s Mexican pizza and Truffle penne pasta was exquisite. Thank you, Chefs and amazing service by Rasmira. Will visit again, thank you.

Mäßiges Preis-/ Leistungsverhältnis, das Bestellte wird in unserem Fall durch etwas anderes getauscht, in der Hoffnung, der doofe Tourist merkt es nicht, wenn doch, steht der arme Kellner da, um sich die Beschwerde anzuhören und das Küchenpersonal lacht im Hintergrund .... Fazit: nicht zu empfehlen.
My husband and I loved every aspect of this restaurant. The food, service, and atmosphere are all five stars as far as we are concerned. It was walking distance from where we stayed and the quality of the food kept us coming back for more. I highly recommend their rosemary chicken and their chicken momos.

The staff welcome you with a smile and the service is quick. This is the second time I was there, first personal dine in - Nov 2023 & this time with the team on the 24th Feb 2024. I enjoyed my meal and the customer experience both times. I recommend trying them 😊

My partner and I visited The Best Kathmandu Kitchen while touring Nepal on our motorcycles. We enjoyed this restaurant very much, the food was delicious, there were a variety of comfortable seating options including traditional, tables, and sofas. Our host was warm hearted and friendly. Thank you for our delicious evening meal.
Their interior is tropical vibes but menu is Chinese food & it’s okay they have contradict menu with the ambience. Funny things, we’ve never ever had this kind of chips chilly in life 😂😂😂 is it chips chilly???? Worst food ever though ambience is great, it would be great if you focus on food rather than your decor 🙂
I've been here twice now and it's fab! Staff is polite, environment is clean but the fooooooood. So good. I get my little pot of masala tea and choose 2 Indian dishes with roti and I'm in heaven. Today I had mushroom curry and palak paneer. I came back bc the aloo gobi masala I had earlier this week was so delicious!
Loved the food and especially the friendly staff! The host is amazing, welcoming and very caring! Thank you for the beautiful evening we had! Will definitely come here again when back in Nepal. Close to Eco Resort in Thamel. 😍😍😍

Alles in allem aber top essen für eine Super Qualität und dann passt der Preis auch.
Das Restaurant auch wunderschön zum verweilen mit Terrasse und sehr bepflanzt.

It is a nice cafe located in Thamel. It has large and spacious sitting area. The food is good. The beverages are amazing here. The price is slightly expensive. The staff are very courteous. Drinks are also served here. Overall a nice place to enjoy good food and some drinks/coffee with friends.
Plenty of gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options. Crepes are made with buckwheat. The menu offers sweet and savory crapes, as well as other perennial faves like burgers, fries, etc. The facilities are basic, more like a garden cafe, but the service is excellent.

Instead, go to the intersection of Thabani Rd and Thamel Marg and good fourth on Thanel Marg for about 300 ft. As you walk, look for a green sign (I attached a picture). The place is inside an alley that curves to the left. Follow the green signs. When you see hotel New Era, you are there - it’s across the street from the hotel. Loved The Place. Perfect For Dining in. Great Ambience. Dinner time is the perfect for a visit. And Talkin about its Very Nice. Price wise its very decent.

The overall experience at the Roadhouse cafe was quite amazing. The ambience of the cafe is very Cozy. We also get an option for outdoor Sitting. Their woodfire pizzas are a must try!! Also there were some great options for Pastas. Their hot chocolate on a cold day is a bliss.

The best breakfast in town where you customize your own choices! Fresh food, nice staff and great atmosphere. I had my last breakfast in Pokhara in there too. Keep your cash ready, btw :)
As one of my last nights in Nepal I ate at New Orleans Cafe as I heard the great live music from the street, plus it was literally under my hotel window. A great atmosphere and as a solo traveller I let myself enjoy this for a while and the waiter was great checking in when nrrdef.
I ordered Dahl soup, rice and spinach, along with 2 iced mint lemonade. It was perfect for not having eaten all day and just hit the spot.
The one star is because a few hours later I've experienced the worst food poisoning ever, and it's bad. Instead of spending my last day in Kathmandu enjoying walking around and shopping, am still in bed and can't get up for fear of not being near the bathroom and full body pain. Got a cracking migraine and it's going to be a slow day. Uff. Not happy, I feel vile and it's a lousy last day. I've been super careful with my water sources is the last 8 weeks and well, this is just next level.

If you're looking for a peaceful cozy ambience with some good food and coffee in Thamel, this is the place to be. Starting with the ambience, a slightly dark themed outdoor ambience which was quite peaceful. The staff were quite attentive and the service quick. Tried the french press which a staff recommended and must say it was damn good. A deep flavour that was slightly bitter but just enough. Likewise, a single press was enough for about 2 fulk cups of coffee. The honey & lemon crepe had a good balance of sweetness from the honey and tanginess from the lemon and went harmoniously with the french press. While was expecting a bit of cream as well but nonetheless quite enjoyed it. And must say the crepe had a good portion as well. Highly recommended.

Amazingly unique experience. We had one of the sweet crepes, chocolate banana coconut crepe. Will definitely be back to try their other dishes when we visit Kathmandu.

It was a nice dining experience even though there was a blackout. The food was good, decent servings but a little on the pricier side. They offer a large variety of dishes, took us a while to choose as everything looked so good.
The chewy starchy rice noodles were the best i've ever had. The mango sticky rice was a delight.

Very good food in a quiet off-street garden setting. The grilled chicken was delicious and very filling. The salsa and vegetable version are both highly recommended.
Food and drink was very disappointing. The mixed juice tasted like is came out of a bottle and was very expensive for a glass of mainly ice. The chips were floury. I expected more for premium price.

Located on the 7th floor of Hotel Nepalaya, this rooftop restaurant has a very good vibe on summer nights. The Nepali tray is very delicious and gives you an experience of Nepali cuisine.
Drinks 🍸 were good but priced a bit above local standards. The live performances were great. Excellent music!!!
Wow! Their sizzler is by far the most delicious meal I've had in Nepal so far. Plus it has a beautiful view of Kathmandu and the servers are attentive and helpful if you need any direction during your trip. I'll definitely be back!

We had a very satisfying Thai Neal for our lunch today. Everything was delicious. The Tom yum soup and Mango salad was perfect . What I love is the outdoor setting. It was overall a good experience dining here. Recommend!

Great food experience. Both veg and non veg food options were excellent. Loved the pork item 💯 Really liked the ambience and service at Krua Thai. Food were excellent. The garden courtyard is a great place to sit and quench your thirst and appetite. They have great tasting local beer on tap and a great selection of beverages at the bar. There’s a lot of different seating arrangements fit for your likings. As for the food l couldn’t fault any meal that l had hear.On both occasions, once with friends and once solo everything was superb.
Highly recommend.
Just returned to Kathmandu 3/9 and came straight back for a visit. I ordered the grilled fish & honestly it was hands down the best fish fish I’ve had anywhere in Nepal. Once again the staff were so kind & welcoming it really is a go to place. Faultless on every level….

Most friendly environment
Liked the ambience and food. Went there for a breakfast on weekday so it were not many people. The garden is not so big and is full of plants and trees. All in all it was a good place to try out.
In love with this place, roof top restaurant and Lounge just took me to a different vibe as if you are enjoying your time on an island the atmosphere was great so did their food, love the ambience and service.
At night its even better where you can enjoy the cold breeze and the music, the staff were friendly and attentive, their food was delicious.

The Kathmandu Kitchen has the best spicy momo and Thukpa with Sichuan pepper (Mala) that I could’ve ever imagined.. enjoyed every dish that I tried.. staff are amazing and down to earth.. value for money and service. Highly recommended.

Average. Foods are not fresh. They used frozen food to make it mostly. Expensive as per area.

Came here after 5years and it still feels the same. The place was nice, we were assisted to the table of our choice outdoor. The waiter took our dinner preferences and repeated so its correct. My Mulled wine was nice and flavourful though it was served in a tumbler. The Platter that we ordered was so delicious,you could have a taste of everything. The chicken strips were amazingly crispy yet juicy. The spicy chicken wings were indeed spicy. The nachos could have been better. It would be better if they had more staff so we wouldn't have to wait to grab the attention of the busy waiters who were nice. Oh! AMAZING Cheesecake!!!!

But i was slightly disappointed with the cocktail. It felt as if It actually didn’t had any alcohol in it. Had ordered whiskey sour, the second cocktail i ordered didnt had any garnish too.
I believe cocktails should be made with same care as chefs prepare food and in place like this I hd expection it would actualtbe really good but sadly wasnt upto the mark.

But i was slightly disappointed with the cocktail. It felt as if It actually didn’t had any alcohol in it. Had ordered whiskey sour, the second cocktail i ordered didnt had any garnish too.
I believe cocktails should be made with same care as chefs prepare food and in place like this I hd expection it would actualtbe really good but sadly wasnt upto the mark.
Other than that it is a good place and i love the vibe.

This place is loacted nearby Uniglobe college.The ambiance is charming. Parking in this area is quite cramped and food and service are good. It is usually rushed in official hours during the daytime. Service is well gratified and served on time.
Its few meters to the right from Nagpokhari. It's clean and serves good food on a decent rate. Nothing much to say here, you have ample of space both onside and outside to stay and eat.
A must go place if you like authentic Asian secret blend of herbs and spices.

The place is cheap and a perfect go to if you are looking for a good vegetarian options to try. They serve rice pudding on wednesdays which is a yumm. The hospitality is not bad, but that is the least you would expect on a road side eatery. Do try the traditional newari set and the aloo chop (mashed potato balls coated with batter and deep fried). A couple of hundreds would be enough for 2 people.
