Worst bar in norwalk, my ID failed then passed through the same scanner, I am 22, don’t come here, zero hospitality and terrible customer service not worth your money or time
I had curbside pickup. They were on time although they didn’t inform me to wait in the parking lot with my emergency blinkers on until I called while waiting in my car. The shredded beef enchiladas were very good as were the beans however the rice was very mushy. I ordered two of the same. My daughter thought the same.
Service was great and got seated within 5 minutes. Food is always amazing!!
Entirely too loud and bright to talk to people. Cover charge for overpriced drinks and no pool tables available. Only crowd were people playing pool. The club vibe they’re trying to create doesn’t match the relatively laid back atmosphere they actually have. Went at 11pm on a Saturday night and spent $110 for 8 people’s entry and 4 (basic) drinks.

Great food and great service. Our server, Denise, was very attentive, had great recommendations from the menu, and served us a beautiful plate to celebrate a birthday. Overall a wonderful experience!

Happened to come upon this restaurant while on our way home, were immediately sat and welcomed with a delicious salsa and chips. Our waitress Denise was amazing, had great recommendations for us. The food was absolutely delicious! Their chilaquiles are our new favorite, definitely will be coming back!
Like always, my man being a gentleman opening my car door and surprising me with different restaurants and this one was delicious. I forgot to take pics of food but know to try the molé enchiladas! So good!
Waited over an hour for our food. When it arrived, my order was wrong and the eggs were ice cold. They also didn’t bring us waters, or utensils for quite some time. Not a good experience.
What an amazing Brunch!!! We booked a reservation, in advance, for a baby shower. 12 people. We were inside/outside in the greenhouse. Family style brunch, we were all impressed with the food quality, verity, and the drinks!! So good. The staff was friendly and professional, which made our day!! To The Spread, We Thank you. We, as nurses don’t impress easily, we will be back. Great Job!! 👏👍❣️
Went for brunch and the food was delicious. Service was wonderful as well. I was excited for bottomless mimosas - And they truly are bottomless! The servers come around with pitchers to top you off.
I have to say the quality of the mimosa itself is not great - it tastes like very watered down orange juice with just a splash of champagne. But because they come around often with top-ups, I definitely left with a fun ‘brunch buzz.’ If you’re looking for a high quality mimosa, it’s not here, but if you’re looking to have a fun bottomless brunch with your friends - this is the best option I’ve found in the Norwalk area.
I had the Belgian waffles which were tasty but about the same quality as you would get in any diner. They come with some butter and maple syrup and had a sad amount of fresh cut strawberries on top.
Others at my table chose different brunch items that looked delicious and the whole group was satisfied - which is hard to accomplish!
The decor is kind of hipster-rustic-chic and felt very inviting. We ate in the tented outdoor seating area and it was a warm and charming. My only complaint was that the ‘rustic table’ we sat at had uneven wood, so our dishes sometimes slid around. And its legs were made from shovels - a cute idea but makes for cramped legroom!
Overall, I’d recommend The Spread for groups who want to enjoy a bottomless brunch together and who don’t mind some menu items being lower quality than others.

Baked Burrata was very good also the Halibut was delicious. We had a little confusion when we got the bill. There were 4 couples and all the guys were drinking old fashioned. There was a charge on our bill for the large ice cube in our drinks. They ice cube was $2.00 extra which they didn’t tell us about and we saw it on the bill and started laughing that it must have been a mistake because we had never seen a restaurant charge for an ice cube !?! Anyways the ended up taking it off the bill. Always check your bill !!!
Its been a while since I was at tacos Mexico. The food there was always good. Today the food didn’t disappoint . But at the time of paying they charged me $7 dollars more after they told me that there is a 4% discount if you pay cash. Even with the food being soo good. I wont be going back there. Paid with a $100 for a $69 bill and got $24 back.

I haven't dined yet at the restaurant only take out y'day. Food was delicious, fresh and timely service.

I didn't know this place existed! It was tucked away. We sat on the patio. The food was food, drinks were great, desserts were ok.
Service was great! Empanadas 😋! We had a pitcher of Mojitos and definitely do recommend it.

The best Chapina and Honduran food
Aug 2023 our 1st time here, and we got here late in the evening. Immediately upon entering, it felt like a European venue. Rustic, casual, comfy, yet great quality food and superb service. The drinks and food came out fast and everything was on par. Can't wait to go back.

I was really disappointed with your food. Not my first time to ordering my food here, always pick up, never had any issues, but this time…if your chief overcook something you should throw it in garbage not serve to people. Extremely dry fish, calamari, yucca, mussels and crab. I drove to Norwalk pick it up, and when I got home and saw that….. really disrespectful to your customers!!!!! Never coming back!!! And not suggest to order for pick, or if you did then check your food at the restaurant if you don’t want to eat extremely overcooked food!
I used to love it but today I was very disappointed. Halele special is the reason I’m going there but this time it was horrible calamari is over cooked and dry as sand don’t make me start about the fish. They even overcooked the yucca. Green sauce still good. Disappointed very disappointed
We placed an order online then received a message saying they did not have chicken and cancelled our order. We called to ask for our refund in which they would not process. After multiple conversations they refused. Incredible difficult! We were once fans and supported this local establishment unfortunately we will never order again after this ridiculous experience!
We were told about this place from a friend. She said the food and drinks were great. When we arrived for lunch, it didnt look like much from the outside. The inside was nice, but not the flashy colorful decor you usually see in a mexican restaurant. We noticed the prices were pretty good and the menu looked good. I was surprised there were no fajitas since that's what I typically get, but I got shrimp tostadas and they were excellent. My husband got a chicken dish and he was very happy. I got maduros and he got tostones..we shared guacamole and calamari which was all very good. I fell in love with the tortilla soup that came with the lunch! The pinapple smash margarita was good ( could have been a tad spicier, but yummy).. My husband enjoyed his michelada. All on all I definitely recommend this place, especially for lunch...they also have a happy hour from 3-6 but we were there too early.

Absolutely delicious. I travel to this area for work and this is my new favorite go to spot. Great price, incredible food, fresh ingredients & friendly servers. You can smell and hear the food cooking in the kitchen which makes the atmosphere even better. Very authentic.

The food is extremely lackluster. Had to return both items i ordered: 1) lobster benedict- 1st attempt by the chef was over cooked hard poached eggs, 2nd attempt was undercooked loose eggs, home fried were soggy and gummy. 2) lobster mac and cheese- $28 meal, very little lobster mixed into the mac n cheese, seemed more like lobster flavored mac and cheese (not worth it). French fries and steak and eggs were good. Overall, Would not recommend the restaurant.
The entire team at the spread made sure my wedding was the best day ever!! They did a fantastic job creating the most decadent charcuterie display, unique passed apps, family style seated lunch, a BEAUTIFUL Bloody Mary and mimosa bar and even a coffee bar!! I had guest calling me the next day saying they had dreams about how good the food was.

Went in for lunch and left immediately after I had to walk through the slimy kitchen to get to the slimy bathroom. Both cooks were hanging out on their phones in a dirty kitchen with a pile of dirty dishes. Apparently they need a manager to babysit them and tell them to clean up after themselves
I was very happy that my family found this lovely place to eat! I thought the food was really good and the service was great! We started with empanadas and tostones rellenos as appetizers. I was happy with both except for the chicken ones as they seemed to be dry. I would like to give 5 stars, but their food is VERY expensive. I can usually make an arepa filled with black beans, platanos, and cojita cheese for like $2. So the upcharge is massive. Ultimately, I would probably come back because the food was good. But I will not go with a group of people!
This place nails it on all accounts- food is fantastic, drink options are abundant, and the vibe in the evening is fine dining but relaxed and unpretentious. One of the best spots in SoNo.
Pretty decent spot but the quality of food has definitely gone down. They also added to the tip I originally left. They didn’t take much but I definitely will not be going back as they lost my trust. If you go, bring cash and don’t pay with your card.

Highly recommend this place whether you want to just hang at a bar, casually sit at some high tops or have a romantic dinner! Great happy hour with awesome drinks and food and great prices! The owners are great and Anthony makes you feel right at home. Can’t wait to go back!

The food was so bad not only they over charge for everything but sandwich it was steak and they only had like two pieces of it. Fries different kind of fires, I ask for a glass of water and they said I had to buy a bottle of water that they don't serve free water drinks are so expensive .
I used to like this place until I went the other day and I saw a roach walking around the food, it was so disgusting, definitely I won’t be back to this place.

In closing... all in all...as average as any other Mexican restaurant you've tried. Safe bet if you don't have another place in mind.

Absolute trash place. Second time to this garbage establishment. This time they charged my friends and I $15 for a well vodka tonic / well gin tonic. Didn’t even put them in the computer - they just open liquored and rang in whatever prices they felt like so they could over charge us. Nasty way of doing business, but now they’ll have less of that since we won’t be returning.
Denied entry due to “fake ID” I had given to me by the state of Connecticut. Said I wasn’t allowed entry and wanted to keep MY license, I offered to call the police and have it sorted it out and they returned my license and still denied me entry. Go literally anywhere else in SONO and you’ll have a good time recommend Blind Rhino, Evaritos, and Il Posto but definitely not Alex’s never coming back again not to mention their ridiculously priced drinks
Best place in area, I’m in love with their CACHAPAS😍 excellent food, drinks and food! Definitely the best Venezuelan food I have ever had! 👏🏻 and of course the waiter is the best, so kind.
Every time we order the food is a hit! Lomo and pollo saltado is delicious, fried yuca, and the Ají… is addictive! We always buy extra sauce. Now to get a fiesta further up near Trumbull? Glad the business is expanding :)

We ordered buñuelos and empanadas for starters. The buñuelo was rock hard and the empanadas were soggy and soaked in oil, as if they refried them to reheat them.
When the entrees came, it all went downhill. My mother ordered a pollo saltado, which didn’t taste like a traditional one but should’ve been expected since it’s a Peruvian dish.
I ordered my usual, an arepa with carne desmechada, but the taste was off settling, almost as if the meat gone bad. I thought maybe it was just me, so I had my mom and husband taste it. My mom couldn’t stomach it and my husband said “something is definitely off”. The meat tasted as if it was sitting out for 3 or 4 days.
My husband ordered a bandeja paisa and a few bites in, he found a long black hair, which none of us have.
Our waitress never came to check up on us, so, I called the other waiter and showed him the hair in the plate, and he took it away. I then passed him my plate explained that all of us tried the meat and that it had tasted as if it had gone bad.
He then came back and explained that he had to ask permission, if he was allowed to offer us something else because he had only been working there for a month. He then offered us grilled chicken but we kindly passed because we no longer had an appetite.
When we asked for the bill, they still charged us for the plate with hair in it, and said he could only remove my $8 dish which was the least expensive dish.
Overall, a majority of our food was old, fermented or stale. It’s disappointing to see how the quality of service and food has gone down significantly. I would not recommend this place.

I wish I could post a picture of my meal. They charged me 9$ For guac, which is fine and all, but they gave me about two spoons of guacamole and half of the two spoons lettuce to make it appear bigger waste of time waste some money.

Generous portions and reasonably priced - had plenty of unique dishes I have never tried before - we have tasty meals with plenty of flavor. Will be returning in the future for more.
Good location with natural light from floor to ceiling windows, nice and open spot within the store as well. Careful if you go to early…they did not have some food options prepared yet. Food and drink was very good as always.

A must spot place in the SONO mall for a drink, a cocktail! In Nordstrom and the restaurant and bar is overlooking outside—lots of light. A high fashion cocktail hit the craving after walking the mall. Lots to try so definitely a quick break without the craziness of the other restaurants/bars in the mall.
What an incredible restaurant in such a non-assuming strip mall storefront. Don't let its location fool you this restaurant was a home-run!

Great lunch spot - I got the chicken and rice and it was cooked perfectly. My partner got the noodles - which were also cooked really well. Large portion sizes.
Amazing service!!!! I ordered off the chefs feature menu - Basil cucumber cocktail...so refreshing, made with fresh cucumber juice and Basil leaves. Then I ordered a small simple salad and Shepard's pie. Both incredible....seasoned beautifully. Wonderful hidden gem on the 3rd floor of nordstrom!!!
Incredible New Years Eve menu. New chef has been here 3 months and has big plans for 2022. Great wine selection of course, and fantastic service. When in SoNo, don’t miss Public Wine Bar!
Came here while visiting for dessert one night and came back for their amazing lunch deal. Everything we tried was amazing: shrimp wontons (photo), salmon tartare, lasagna, and more. Delicious wine and service too. Fantastic deals value, highly recommend!
This is a really good place to go to. Food is absolutely delicious. You really can’t go wrong on selecting any of the dishes. Drinks are good too. Service is excellent. May be pricey on some of the dishes but comparable to other places. Parking no issue. I tried the Cubano and it was tasty. Overall, can’t go wrong on trying this place.

This is a regular lunch spot of mine. The food is tremendous—best burritos I’ve ever had. Service is really wonderful as well. A hidden gem in Norwalk!
TRY THE TOMATO BRUSCHETTA (the middle dish). It was literally one of the best things I've ever tried. It was that amazing. I highly recommend it. It's a $10 appetizer but if you're eating it with anyone else then you're going to be fighting over it.

I asked for a strawberry margarita but got served a mango one instead. When I told the waitress she seem bothered and didn’t even apologize for the error. She replaced the drink. Both did not taste to good. Ask for no salt but got salt anyway. Didn’t want to inconvenience the waitress any further.
My green chicken enchiladas were salty but no flavor. The fajitas had a lot of chicken barely any onions and peppers. No flavor. The tortillas were so small you can barely make a fajita wrap.
Overall not the best dining experience.

This is the spot to be Friday or Saturday. The food is Amazing! You have to try their empanadas and white truffle tostones 😋 also try a Coconut mojito simply delicious!

Love their food. Home cooked Colombian treats! Empanadas are my favorite and the chili sauce works wonders!

The food is excellent and so is their customer service. If you want to impress the family with nice dinner or lunch for a great price this is the place! When I ordered my food for pick up, I accidentally took my food and someone else's food as well SMH.. I realized it when I got home and I felt so bad. I immediately called them to explain and also offering to pay for it but they were extremely nice and did not even charge me for it. The food is delicious and I highly recommend it. Keep up the good work!
Food was not only very tasty but creative and great displays. Nice atmosphere - overall worth many return visits! Sit outside too if you'd like.
Great happy hour and great vibes. Spent hours just hanging out. The decor and lighting was nice. Had the taco flight but asked for the toppings on the side and I think this is the way to go. You get to "build" your own tacos this way and it adds a bit of fun to the experience. The complimentary chips come with 3 salsas and each one is delicious. It's a very unassuming place from the outside but when you spend some time there it becomes very comfortable very quickly. The staff was very polite as well. Highly recommend this place especially for happy hour. You can't beat the price for what is offered.

Tried this place out on New Year's Day. The food was phenominal and light. Our server, Kyle, was warm and friendly.
The restaurant is located on level 3 of the Nordstrom in the back. It provides nice views of outside the mall and plays a nice slection of music that isn't too loud to disruot conversation.
The salmon with couscous was lovely, light and fresh. I found myself cleaning up the whole plate.

Exceptional service and delicious food. Haven't been in CT for too long but this place was definitely above expectation. The staff was very patient describing the menu and the several options we had. If you're craving a taste of Peru, I'd definitely recommend this place!
I have been to most all of the many Peruvian restaurants that have popped up over the years and have frequented them. By far this is the best service in Fairfield county. Polite, informative and this food was freshly prepared in minutes, I have ordered many times from here on Grubhub but came in person today and what a welcomed surprise to get such lovely service. Could you guess that I will be returning ?

If I could give more than 5 stars then I would! This is my number one favorite place to eat. The salmon a la plancha is the best I’ve ever had. Rice had plantains mixed in which was fantastic. You really can’t go wrong with any dish. Up-scale pan-Latin cuisine at its finest. The service is fast as well.
I'll start with something a little annoying, but I don't want it to reflect my view. The service was really oddly slow, we weren't attended to that often and when we were it was really brief and to-the-point. We ordered appetizers, and then they arrived and we had finished them. We had to literally ask a busser to see if anyone can take our order because our waitress was nowhere to be seen. We had wanted to put in our order earlier as some of our dishes would be known to take longer to make, however we had just sat longer without food due to the large gap in time. Then after we had finished eating as well there was an unnecessary gap of time between the time our plates had been taken and the time the waitress had come back with dessert menu / asking for the check.
Regardless, the food is spectacular. I was pleasantly surprised by the red snapper, which was fried to an incredible extent. Skin was very crispy, some of the bones were so fried they were nice and crunchy. The fish itself was great, well seasoned (not over salted like most places you order a fried fish), and paired really well with the sauce provided. I would definitely come back here and probably eat at the bar or something to get drinks and food a lot faster :)

WOW!!!!!! The food here is AWESOME!!!!! Me and My Wife came here on a recommendation of our friend and we thank them so much for introducing us to this place. Their popular dish is truly tasty. I forgot the name of it in Spanish but it says it on their menu that it is their "popular" dish. Then the dipping sauce they give you, uuuuggghhh, so good. They give it to you with bread, but try it on your meal. But it does have a Kick to it, so be careful not to put too much on.
We enjoyed our meals from Tacos Mexico! We ordered the Mar y Terra, Quesadillas, Tacos and Guacamole. The Guac and their homemade chips were delicious. The steak was cooked just the way we ordered it. We ordered for delivery, and it took about an hour (average delivery time): easy online ordering and friendly delivery service. We're looking forward to trying the other menu items.
