This food is AMAZING and great value for money! I ordered through DoorDash and requested no egg + shrimp and one of the staff called me to check if I wanted oyster sauce (which I didn’t!) such thoughtful staff that is amazing service. Will be coming here a lot more often.

Appalling behaviour by the older gentleman cook. He clearly wasn’t in the mood to cook when I happened to walk in just after lunch. Completely ignored me even after saying hello. After ordering I noticed I had been overcharged and when I was refunded the difference that’s when fridge doors were slammed very loudly, tongs being bashed against the counter and clearly angry while using the wok. A very uncomfortable experience. Unfortunately cannot rate food as I walked out while it was still being prepared.

Yosh was our chef and kept the entertainment going what a legend, good food good vibes

This was a very entertaining experience, the food tastes great and the staff are very talented.

We went there right after the Yacht Tour in Runaway Bay. Only our family was there for lunch and the chef 👨‍🍳 Yoshi made the amazing memory for my family. He was fun and positive, full of energy!
We orderd;
-Matsuzaka combo: prawn was very fresh > chicken with sauce is great > beef is also good
-Kangaroo: we were very curios and this was first time of this meat. Not thing weird and similar taste with beef.
-Udon: that was my mistake,, it was stir-fried udon, not with soup,, anyhow this taste was not meeting my daugther's expectation.

Yoshi's show was excellent and Fried rice was great!
Finally he gave a special gift 🎁 to my daugther with Pochako which is one of characters of Sinamonrol. His salt drawing looks very similar with her doll.

Best Laksa I've had in a long while, great price, great portion, rich, delicious and generous with the meat. Carrots were a lot nicer than anywhere else I've tried too. Not exactly dine in style but I always get take out anyway, prefer good food over a pretty store front any day. First time customer, so if their other dishes are as good I highly recommend.

They had crispy noodles. That was enough to bring me joy. We had them add chili to the Mongolian Beef and it was perfect. We shared that as it had noodles mixed in it. Two spring rolls, prawn crackers, two drinks and it was $29. No public holiday charge. Must go.

We loved our dinner at Matsuzaka. I tried kangaroo for the first time and it was much better than I imagined it would be. I really think it was because our chef did an A+ job preparing it.

Another amazing experience at Matsuzaka Teppanyaki!! Thank you so much for your excellent service, beautifully cooked and high quality food and incredible entertaining!! Hands down the best Teppanyaki we have ever had!!

Absolutely fantastic! Great customer service, great chef, great food. Took my daughter (2yrs) the chef was extremely accommodating keeping her happy. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Visited for both my 30th and back again for 40th with my young family of 4. Good atmosphere, service and the food is fantastic. Gold value for money.

First time trying this place for a takeaway and was quite disappointed. The pepper calamari was dry, overcooked and tasteless and lacked any 'pepper' or seasonings. The pad see ew had a strange flavour with dry chicken and not much of it.

Staff were friendly and parking is easy.

We ordered takeaway. Called at 11:50am to order 2 fried rice, 3 fried noodles, a salad, a curry, a tom yum and a pork belly salad. Was told it would take 25 minutes.

There were no other customers and no other take away orders. It took 45 minutes for the food. If we were dining in we wouldve walked out at the 35degrre heat with no air-conditioning.

I complained and asked if they had prawn crackers and they wouldn't throw it in. Only after I said it took too long that they gave me 2 cans of coke for free.

The food quality itself was actually quite good. The chicken Thai fried rice, seafood fried rice and pad see ew were all good. Just a pity with the laid back service and the long wait time.

Used to be really good. I ordered rainbow steak and my wife had salt and pepper tofu. To be honest, we could only eat half our meals. Not tasty and very disappointing. Additionally, our delivery was an hour late.

On holidays from Sydney and decided on Thai for dinner and it was the right choice. Delicious food, probably the best Thai we’ve ever had. Service was great and attentive. We ordered the lamb shank curry and the green curry and highly recommend it.

Their food is sugary! How can a place not have a single totally savory / salty dish! We asked for none sugary dish and the waiter brought us a lamb chunk in a sauce that tastes like peanut ice cream !!! Too sugary!
The aroma of the food wasn’t pleasing at all. Too plain. We were disappointed.
The one star is for decoration.

Coming from a Singaporean, this is probably some of the best Chinese food you can find in Australia at fairly reasonable prices too. Place is owned and run by a Chinese couple. Service staff are polite and personable.

Their Peking duck and garlic stir fried bok choy are very good. Salt and pepper chicken and har gow are recommended too. Overall definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for Asian food in Brisbane.

I ordered the satay and mongolian beef noodles. These were the best noodles I have tasted. The noodles were hot, fresh, and rich in flavour. They were not dry, they didn't stick together and they were coated in sauce. I highly recommend this place. 5/5

Every so often I crave my Thai comfort food on days Top Thai are closed. It’s then that I realise that no amount of fancy decor can make up for fresh ingredients, applied generously with handfuls of love.

I’ve traveled all around the world & i am going to claim this is the best Thai food ive had. Very very tasty, seems good quality ingredients & super fresh. My wife agrees & i have told multiple people already about it. Definitely my new to go to dinner place.

It is a classic place. Can sit outside and have snacks and still hear the music. Good for a night inside where you can dance. Good fun to be had. Opposite the beach. On the bus line. Close to Southport.

Food was ok. Service was very average due to it being a very busy night and they were clearly understaffed. Very noisy environment resulted in orders being misunderstood and arriving late after a number of requests.

What a great experience dining in at this restaurant. The food was impeccable just as the service , with ambience to match , one can have a leisurely walk after a great feed =)

Location is great. After directed to my third bar to place the order, the cocktails had next-to-no alcohol - most expensive chocolate milkshake and strawberry slushy I've ever had.. 14/11 - Afternoon shift. The only shining light was the Shift Supervisor (forget her name, sorry) was genuinely apologetic for the fiasco placing a simple order.

Nice dinner there. Everything seafood in the menu there is divine. Maybe they get a regular Challis delivery? So next time I go there I will stick to seafood because my lamb shanks didnt fall off the bone. Did request broccolini instead of peas for my main. Considering broccolini is all over the rest of the menu I don't think they should charge extra for that seeing the pricing is already quite high.

Great quick home style meals as well as all the pub favourites. Entertainment of some kind every night . Karaoke on Monday nights is my favourite

Excellent customer service characterized by the staff's remarkable kindness and hospitality. The Peking duck is a highlight and comes highly recommended. Definitely worth experiencing!

The good ole Grand Hotel. True Friday night staple for the locals of the Northern end of the Gold Coast. If it's going in for a cold drink after work, to have a dance with the cougars or even to watch a fights on the big screen or out in the Dosa the grand has you covered. It's almost a right of passage to have a night at this beautiful place and you will always been guaranteed a good time. Unless you be cheeky to security.

The service and location are both exceptional. I have never been dissatisfied with the meals here.
Plenty of parking within The Grand car park.
Both walk-ins and bookings are welcome.

Went to have a dinner there. Really good food, tasty, decent sized portions, very reasonable prices. Service was friendly and quick. Beaut location to go for a seaside stroll before or after dinner. Will be back when next in the area.

The service at Peking Duck was amazing, Carol especially was magnificent, I haven’t been so well taken care of in a restaurant for years! All the staff that came to our table were polite, efficient and friendly. Food was great too. Thank you Peking Duck for a great night out

As you walk, it's just a little takeaway place, there's tables and chairs available. The chef's English isn't great, but he tries. Is friendly. The combination omelette is $16.90 with rice in a separate container, and it's full to the lid. My picture isn't great as I'm trying to eat this delicious lunch in the car.

If you want traditional Thai cuisine I would like recommend this restaurant! Good place to date with yummy foods! Thanks for great service and meals!

Really good food however the service wasn't great.
Mains came out within minutes of starter they forgot one meal.
Will go back because the food was really good.

Had an altercation two days previous and went back to have a meal with family.
Went to the bar try to order a drink the security guard from the two days previous approached me.himself and another from behind the bar tried to talk to me in an intimidating way.
I was there to relax but but the huge security guy wanted to bait you. He just wanted to cause a problem in my opinion.
He was unprofessional didn’t need to cause a problem but totally uncalled for.
This security is not a good luck for the hotel s thug like behaviour that goads the customers for no reason.
I’m looking at investing in the area but now looking at alternatives as the staff need replacing .

The battered fish is not bad but the rest of the fried stuff pales in comparison. Fries,
Calamari and crab stick are all mushy.

They do have a pelican feeding session at certain timing of the day though. So that’s interesting.

Great fish n chips. Plenty of seafood options. Pelican feeding bonus. Not a lot parking, very hard to find a spot.

The food was good the service was great but just a bit slow on the uptake. We had a table of 12 and we got our meals nearly together. The waitress did her best to accommodate. We booked our table so they knew we were coming. Just a bit slow initially. Would eat there again.

Bought pomfret (hugee) and a whiting. Decent fresh fish!
Also, they have tasty and fresh sashimi & oyster. Will be back for sure!!

My daughter is on a special diet and requested a custom meal. She was served a regular meal, most of which she couldn't eat. Not only an appalling waste of food, but she spent the night throwing up. Do better!

Bought a piece of crumbed barramundi, small chips, 6 x calamari and a medium salad tonight. Fish was very well cooked, service non-existent and the lettuce and cucumber in the "garden salad" was frozen and transparent! So gross. Unfortunately we didn't see until we got back to our apartment so couldn't go back. Not worth the $30+. At least the chips were nice.

I just celebrated my 50th Birthday at the Grand Hotel. I was extremely happy with everything. The service was great and I was well looked after. Mitch is a credit to the team there. He was amazing looking after me on my special night. Nothing was to much.
We also stayed in the apartments. The view is amazing.
Was a memorable weekend.

We haven't been here lately as we had 2 bad experiences (food wise).. but now we decided to return (after all we like the spot and we used to come over at least twice per month)..

For this time my 5 stars are back. Lorine is amazing. We always knew that if we go a bit early she would attend to our table. She never disappoint.. she is always polite.. knows all answers and everything... This time we also had Victoria who was excelent as wel.. happy to be back ...the food is great again.. and the sticky date puddin was divine.

Have to say this is a blast from the past.
I remember coming up here for my fish and chips as a kid and now I brought my kids here.
Good old fashioned service with plenty of food for everyone ( we have a family of 6) and we bought the family pack.
Calamari and fish was as fresh as it gets, the kids loved the crab sticks and the pineapple fritters.

Came here for some good ol fish and chips and it was good. The fish was nice, the batter even nicer and the chips where not the traditional thick chips but they were close enough. The mayo was sweet which was not very pleasant with fish but maybe it's an Aussie thing.

Parking is an absolute mare so arrive in good time and also seating is a bit of a faff to get.

Was kinda hyped for this place. There is always a line, even at 2pm. Variety of seafood as well such as sashimi and oysters.

However, I got their Fish and chips without drinks and a large Calamari for altogether $20.90. The portions were great tho. Especially the calamari. Felt more like squid than batter. The fish However was nice but not bombastic. It was good, flaky and had flavour.

The chips However were soggy and were oily. We had none that were crispy sadly. And we had to add salt.

Overall, still a good place to have Fish and Chips. Servers are friendly as well.

I was there the first time cause my friends keep talking about Yentafo. It was so yummy and real authentic thai Yentafo. Full of meat and seafood. I think it's the best Yentafo in GC. I would like to come back with my friends and try other food too:)

I’ve been going to this restaurant frequently for over a year. I never had such experience before! I got absolutely obsessed with Thai food after I tried the food here. My favourite dishes are Chilli and Basil Minced beef/ crispy pork. Oh and I love Thai milk tea. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I brought a few friends there and they loved it too!

This place guarantees you great experience, service and food. We've been going there many times in last 10 years, always having one particular meal - seafood basket, and astonishingly, the quality and taste never changed. Super yummy and makes you wanna visit the place again and again. I am sure that other meals are equally yummy, yet seafood basket for us made us not wanna try anything else. Absolutely recommended! Hands down..🙌💗

Just the tastiest fish I have had in a long while.
Fish n chips were super fresh and very hot!
And the loveliest place to enjoy your meal, overlooking the magnificent Broadwater.
Only downside, if you would call it that, we would have liked to purchase pack for 2 etc.
Awesome range of seafood including fresh crabs and lobsters.
Have a swim then enjoy your fish n chips by the water.
Easy parking street side and wheelchair access.

Classic Chinese dishes that reminds me of Malaysian home style dishes. The crispy skin chicken was a delight. The salt and pepper prawns is also recommendable - very tasty.
Stir fry string beans - another delight.
Cold poached chicken was surprisingly yummy.

Like it when I first went, enjoyed it when I went back again & will definitely in my top list for Chinese.

One of the highlights of our trip to GC! We read the great reviews about this place and decided to try it. And we were certainly not disappointed by our experience.

They don't take bookings, and when we arrived around 7pm, there was already a couple of big groups waiting. The host offered for us a table for drinks and entrees while we waited for a seat at the teppanyaki table, which was very welcomed.

After a short wait, we were seated and was immediately entertained by the 2 chefs running the show. Both chefs were super friendly, and interacted with all the guests with egg throwing, bowl throwing and even song and dance! We were thoroughly entertained by them, and when it came to the food, it was fresh delicious.

All in all, we had a wonderful time and we look forward to eating there again the next time we areo in town 👍

Good fish and chips, service could be more friendly.
Good batter with balance of batter and grease to seafood. The pineapple fritters were great.
It was nice to sit on the beach outside and eat our meal.
We went for an early dinner at about 5pm and beat the rush. The girl behind the counter looked and sounded like she did not want to be there. She was yawning while talking to me and had a bit of a cranky or bored tone. She answered my questions but just seemed like she would rather be any place than speaking to me.
This same girl yelled out to everyone to move outside to wait for orders and the girl who gave me my order seemed a lot friendlier.
They threw in a few extra calamari pieces which was nice, but the 15% public holiday surcharge was a bit unexpected and steeper than I would've expected.
A good meal though and the beach is lovely. A great place for young kids to swim.

The best Thai food on the GC, and the best I’ve had in Australia. Tom Kha soup is great, Laab pork is amazing. Also highly recommend Thai fried rice, crispy pork, yumm!! It’s good to be home to cooking like this. Serving sizes are huge, enough for two.

Came here the second time. Good food and the positive attitude of the (owner I guess) makes it a pleasant experience. A place that goes out of the way to make their customers happy with small but important gestures. Really good Thai food 5 stars for sure!!!

Garlic Chicken with seasonal vegetables and rice - massive servings of stir fried chicken, onion, carrot, capsicum, broccoli, cauliflower and corn

Prawn omelette - egg omelette had 6 prawns and had lots of sauce

Also got a tub of crispy noodles, because they always add a bit of texture and crunch to the dishes.

Servings are quite large and usually do me for dinner and lunch the next day.

Big thanks for the complimentary prawn crackers.

Sweet and sour beef with rice and wonton noodle soup.
Portion size was generous for all dishes ordered. I'm disappointed with sweet and sour beef as felt not all were beef. Wonton soup was delicious but a little salty and slightly oily for my liking.

Got the chicken pad hokkien and the prawn pad Thai lunch specials, really good food here for a great price. They can do extras too like tofu and chicken to really top if off for a great meal. Easy parking in the car park when not busy and the curry puff entree was decent.

Haven't posted for awhile but definitely want to say, best Thai restaurant on GC.
I've been to numerous restaurants over the years.
Nothing compares to Top Thai!!!
Ordered roast duck in Chili basil not too spicy, pad Ki maow with veggies and coconut juice. 🤩🙌
