The lunch meal was fabulous...so well presented and flavourful .... can't wait to go back again. Server was very sweet and helpful. Definitely would recommend this restaurant to others.

Standard quality you'd expect from the franchise - tasty and well attended to. My only critique was that it took over 40 minutes to get our order, despite the only ones being served.
If can only give them negative stars for their service. Most useless people on the counter who have no respect and have no idea how to serve people. I ordered something. Wanted to change my order before I got it and they completely refused to help me do it saying I cannot change it now. I didn’t even have my order yet. I have never seen such low service anywhere.
Disappointed, I wanted five guys today because I love five guys. I ordered a cheeseburger and a fry. When I got my food it the fry’s were not nice and golden brown they were yellow. The burger was soggy because of buns. However the staff are super friendly so that makes up for it just I don’t think 20$ is fair for what I bought.
I had an amazing experience at this Pizza Pizza location. A woman named Manoushi (sorry if I spelt it wrong) was very patient, accommodating, and understanding with me as I was asking many questions about the menu. She made great and useful recommendations! Loved her customer service! Hopefully she’s there the next time I’m in!

The burger has the potential to be great, but the buns are so soggy.... The patties the toppings the fries were all good but I feel like the soggy buns really pulling down what otherwise would have been a solid meal.

This location makes a great pizza. The ingredients are always fresh, cheese on point, and sauce to cheese ratio is perfect. Great people also. Highly recommend.
We have been a regular customer for years, every Tuesday night. We just had the worst service when I called to ask where our pizza was after an hour. I was told to just order from somewhere else cause I didn’t seem happy. We have always tipped well, and ordered regularly. I have never been so disappointed, I had grown to enjoy the regular delivery person and I would have almost gone as far to say he was a friend.
Update: received a call from a very respectful and apologetic (owner)maybe. He has rectified the situation and we will continue to be customers.

We attended a pre-arranged birthday party. Food took over an hour to arrive once ordered. Some of the tables cancelled their order after the rest of the group finished their meals. The food was not very palatable to those who actually received their orders. The server was very polite and made efforts to appease the party, but the inability to serve food to everyone in a reasonable amount of time really ruined the experience for our group. The manager adjusted some people's bills, which was little comfort to those who waited, but didn't receive food before we were ready as a group to leave.

Food was good; location is definitely understaffed when they are hosting the fights or sporting event. Have to admit that although the food was good, service so slow that might not want to go back. Can't have people sitting at a table with empty drinks for more than 20 minutes before coming by to ask.

Came here for breakfast and just got a simple classic breakfast. Portion of meat with the breakfast is generous compared to many other breakfast places for the same price. Eggs cooked exactly as ordered. Toast was generously buttered. Hash browns were seasoned very well and quite tasty. Service was great, always on top of coffee refills.

Great dining experience. Even though the waitstaff was a little green, they still served me quickly and with dignity. The price for the food is amazing and economical, especially if you’re a student. ~25$ is the average student dinner price. For reference, a five piece combo at Popeyes is only 5$ less. The food was pretty good, potstickers were mid, Atlantic salmon was satisfactory, but the dessert was amazing.

I’ve eaten a lot of pizza, this was the first pizza in along time I haven’t had to load with creamy garlic dip. Bomb pizza. Cheese curds we’re great. Wings were a little over sauced but good! Also try the house creamy garlic dip!!

Worked here, been coming here for 25 years. It's good, food is very good quality and service is prompt and friendly. Solid tap beers, usually some local brews. Definitely recommend to anyone wanting a summer or fall view of the river and a bite & pint.
First time having Five Guys in around 5 years, and it's better than I remember. The beef is really good quality and the cheeseburger tasted amazing, even without any condiments. The beef and melty cheese just go so well together. It is a bit pricey at about $19 for a burger with fries, but at least know this is top quality burgers, and probably one of the best burger chains you'll find. It's better than any burger I've had in a sit-down place/bar/pub and better than any local joint I've been to in Ottawa. Definitely will come back before another 5 years :)
I got really bad food poisoning from this location. I love Shawarma palace downtown and the one in South Keys, this one tho must be a badly maintained franchised version or something, I'm on my 3rd day, I still have massive stomach pain and all the rest from both ends. Avoid at all costs.

Ordered the Steak Dinner with blackened shrimp. Steak was a little smaller than I expected, but tasted great nonetheless. The included sides (caesar salad & baked potato) were also very good. The blackened shrimp were incredibly flavorful, just how I like it. The overall meal was delicious and filling, and the staff were very accommodating too.

What a great dining experience! A large beautifully decorated restaurant with huge windows for natural lighting and a surprisingly nice view. The service was very smooth. The food was so well presented, creative, and in line with the current season. You can expect a 3 course meal, and a modern dining experience. At the end of our meal, The chefs came to our table to get feedback and to answer any questions. Very personable. We had 3 generations at our table and everyone was completely satisfied and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Highly recommend.

I’ve been coming here for a few years as both a client and a charity I founded (Deep Blue Cleanup) has worked closely with the NSC organizing shoreline cleanups and removing debris from the water with the use of trash trapping devices. It’s a very friendly community environment and I always enjoy spending time sailing or eating in their restaurant. They are great from both the perspective of client and partner. Highly recommend checking them out!
This is the second time we’re ordered from uber eats from this location and we have received wrong or missing items. I would recommend just driving to a different restaurant rather than ordering since it’s not worth it at this point. the food is okay but the portions are pretty small for the price.
5 stars for the rest . I tried this branch of shawarma palace once for the first time the sandwich was so good and my coworkers said the same but why 2 stars because of the staff who served and it was not the first time i seen him , im used to visit the hunt club and bank street location and my bad luck I've seen him there couple times same frown face asking with rudeness and if you try to ask him for specific item on sandwich that's your finish

This place is cheap with their meat. Ordered a small sandwich and literally finished in 4 bites. Better options in area.
Spectacular wings, great pizza, excellent breakfasts. I get the roaster wings dry, with sauce and sour cream on the side for 'manual dipping'. Crispy on the outside, tender chicken on the inside. Cheap beers, and daily food and drink specials. Perfect. And always great service.
Very dissatisfied with the customer service, as well as the fact that the entire kitchen staff is touching everything with their bare hands without even donning gloves. Please be kind to the patrons and smile at us; don't treat us like prisoners.

This edible burger franchise you know is not cheap. Now their most famous cheeseburger has hit $11 CAD. And with fries and their famous shake (bacon crumbles optional! Extra protein! So sweet and salty!), it's over 25 CAD per person. But I often have to indulge - it's a delicious burger. McDonald's is getting too expensive, so I save that money and eat here.
The fries here are so good because they use P.E.I. potatoes. That's right. The potatoes are P.E.I.!

Unacceptable. First order we placed, we had an individual with a chickpea allergy and specifically asked for no hummus. I'm sure you can guess what we received. Not a problem, everyone makes mistakes. Came to get a chicken platter second time, paid over $20 and the platter barely had an chicken on it. Shameful. A grill in bells corners not only gives me double the chicken, but it tastes better and is a few bucks cheaper.

Food is great but the staff is unprofessional. Constantly talking to each other, often loudly while they make the food right in front of them. The food takes extra long time because of the talking. Also the interior should be improved immensely if they actually want customers to dine in.
Ordered on delivery. The bank street shawarma palace is amazing, 5/5. But this location is much much different. The chicken is very dry and some pieces are rock hard. While the some pieces are chewy and not good. Potatoes and rice are decent but the chicken is just very very bad. I highly recommend you drive the extra time and get the one on bank street or order from there instead
Good spot for late night food ans to catch the games, TV's and projectors are everywhere so you never miss the action. The wings are the best here you must try it.
Food use to be good here. I order a beef plate. And the beef had a rotten smell. It was really terrible. It wasn't just 1 plate , it was also the other 2 I ordered. I am not the one that usually complains but it was terrible and ended up spending 80$.

This is the worst shawarma palace location ever. The hummus is old and sour, the portions are small, the potatoes and garlic sauce taste old and so does the salad. It’s disgusting and will never eat there again. Stick to the other locations! You won’t be disappointed .. however with this location, you will.

Food was excellent. Ordered 2 family platters - lots of food and everyone loved it! The only reason I am giving 4 stars is we had to wait even though I had called ahead and ordered pick up for a specific time.
Love coming here. We order the chicken family platter and have never been disappointed. Good quality ingredients, lots of them and enough for 4 easily. Actually we eat leftovers for a day or two :D

I had such an amazing time here for the first time! The food was unbelievably delicious, and the service was top-notch. I've never seen such incredible service before. Ahmed was super friendly, always had a smile on his face, and kept asking if we needed anything. It really made our experience even better!

One of my favourite arab restaurants to get brunch. It really is good and filling. The portions are good. I don’t know how some people in the reviews are saying the portions are bad. That’s false I had so much left overs to take home. The customer service is amazing.Their always smiling. The waiter named Ahmed was amazing he is so sweet and enthusiastic we love him!!! Very cozy and friendly place, food is made fast and fresh. The bread is amazing. Their portions are smaller than I would expect but nonetheless the food is great. They’re open late and seem to have extended hours during Ramadan which is fantastic.
Went Oct, 2022. Was just okay, wouldn't go back. Service wasn't great and the atmosphere was meh. Food was well presented but the flavours didn't really go well together. Fun evening otherwise, but wouldn't really recommend a nice dining experience, unless looking for something cheaper.

Came here for brunch with my family on a Sunday early afternoon.Ordered a variety of food and pies. Overall the food was great and really authentic tasting. The only downside was the service.I understand that they are busy but the whole restaurant has 10 tables basically so not really an excuse for forgetting basic things like water and tea. We ordered tea to have with the food and it arrived half way through our meal which was a bit disappointing as we had to ask 3 times for it. It was also a bit over priced at 10$ for regular tea that served 5 small cups. That issue aside the food and service was great.

pizza is fine but the last two times i got italian marinara dipping sauce at this location, it was expired and smelled/looked off. the first time i placed a complaint, and it looks like nothing has happened. please check the expiry dates on your sauces!

Very impress, despite the lettuce shortage and supply price increase, the plate was still loaded. I respect the owners. It’s not easy running a small business nowadays. Thank you for a pleasant surprise last minute take out. Will be a repeated customer from now on!
So tonight my husband and I tried Shawarma Kingdom for the first time and let me just say, if you haven’t tried it yet, you need to try it. It was the most fresh and flavourful Shawarma Platter I have ever had. The presentation was amazing, and the serving size was plentiful!!! We will definitely be back as this is now our Shawarma place 💯

These platters are definitely big. I’d say 1 platter is plenty for 2-3 adults to share. The food was literally overflowing out the sides of the containers. I assume that should be what’s expected if you’re posting $20+ (via UberEats) per platter.

I mobile ordered a pizza and had it delivered. I received it looking like someone had plucked cheese off from the pizza on various slices. The seal of the box was also broken. I called customer service, they said they would send out another. A few minutes later, I get an angry call from this store with an employee screaming at me, saying he didn't want to remake the pizza, there was nothing wrong with the pizza. He was very aggressive and verbally abusive. He seemed mentally unstable and said, 'you don't eat the box or the seal' ! I don't want to make another pizza! He conveniently forgot that I had my pizza DELIVERED so the tamper seal did matter! Awful experience, I have never been treated this way. Upper management needs to look into this store and the way they treat their customers! Absolutely disgusting behavior.

Pretty good service, used SkipTheDishes for pickup. The pizza could be improved but the poutine and popcurds are delicious as finger-licking!
July 2021 a well priced restaurant offering some decent dishes. Some are very very good, while others are ok. Set menu options. Prepared by students in the program. The chicken was amazing. Juicy and flavorful with fresh herbs. Salmon was perfectly prepared with a crispy crust. The meat gonnichi was pretty good. The dessert on the other hand was so so. A bit too sweet and not enough wow.
Tried the chicken shawarma platter on a Saturday evening and was disappointed in the quality of food. The flavours were good but all things texture was very off. The worker took meat off the spit that was practically at its core and was so incredibly dry that it felt like sand when eaten. It was clear some pieces were sitting on the scooping tray because some pieces of chicken were cold while others were hotter. The potatoes were also inconsistent, some were very mushy while others at the core still had a borderline raw bite to it. Portion sizes were standard, a bit less than Palace but also a couple bucks cheaper. Service was quick and friendly, and the space was clean.
An actual shawarma joint that goes toe to toe with Shawarma Palace. The beef is the most tender and juicy beef I have ever had. The hummus and garlic is always fresh and delicious.
Took a couple of months to go back and have faith…. But I did and they didn’t disappoint! I did tho do my own pick up and did not use their offer for a free pizza. Reviews are for the establishments to improve and get feed back.

Their large walk in special is a great deal! I normally don’t enjoy thick crust pizzas but I enjoy theirs. Lots of cheese and sauce too. Service is not very friendly though

Tired of boring lectures? Wanna sit down and have nice a drink with your friends? Then my friend observatory is the best place you can find in algonquin. The food there is so good and everyone is super friendly. They provide food to table service so you dont have to get up to get your food ❤
This place has been here for such a long time and has lots of regulars. It's a casual place with lots of tables and booths. It's a sports restaurant and bar, so there are lots of TV's everywhere playing mostly sports channels. The food is really good and the prices are reasonable. The service is good. The restaurant is clean, but the building and facilities are aging. Washrooms are pretty small and cramped. Lots of parking out front. They do have a patio outside, but I don't know if they ever use it.
It's always great to support students learning any trade... In this case, the students are learning the ins-and-outs of the restaurant business and food preparation. Each of my meals here have been enjoyable and interesting. Its also a bonus the prices are very reasonable! You must make accomodation, some things aren't perfect but the students welcome constructive feedback to make improvements.
I ordered my meal to-go which was a Goat burger with beyond meat and extra mayo and no sauce was put on my burger the fried cheese was not the on burger which is why I got the burger, my burger was also made completely wrong the topping were on the base of the bun and no topping on the top of the bun which is where they go! This was overpriced and my order was incomplete and wrong. Next time if you do not have an ingredient that is a main part of an item please let the costumer know for next time. 0/10 experience
If you haven't tried their exclusive beer you're doing yourself a disservice. The beer, Eh 174 (I might have it wrong) deserves its own review of five stars. The food here is consistent, and the seating is great. Popular for good reason, the Observatory is a great place to unwind over some drinks and pub food with friends.
Overall, not bad. Fries could be more crisper and the wings a little less breaded but I think they come frozen from a pack. I would skip the buffalo chicken nachos, too much sour cream and too little cheese. Enjoyed the service at the bar though.
Respect they have large servings and the food tastes great. Staff were friendly and gave me large portions of food. I could revenge finish all the food they gave me. Lasted two meals. Prices a little more than average but worth the large portions you get.
Nice, food is very good, minus the cauliflower soup that was way over in salt, location in very nice, 15% discount if member, will try again

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this unique restaurant where students class prepares a three course dinner. I must say, I was blown away by the quality of the food and the level of skill displayed by the students.
The meal began with a delicious leek and potato soup. The soup was creamy and rich with the right amount of seasoning and a drizzle of exceptional quality olive oil. Along with other members of the family, we enjoyed goat cheese and arugula salad. The salad was fresh and vibrant and perfect before the main course. Seafood dumplings were also savoured for starters.
For the main course, I opted for a pan-seared salmon with roasted potatoes and steamed vegetables. The chicken dish with Indian butter sauce was another standout dish served with steamed fluffy and fragrant basmati rice and vegetables cooked just right.
Finally, the dessert was the real treat, choice of chocolate lava cake or cheese cake served with fresh berries and dessert sauce.
Overall was a fantastic dinner experience. The food was delicious and the students were really passionate about their craft. I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try

AMAZING. First time visit for a to-go plate. Quick and friendly service. The chicken plate was delicious. HUGE portion of juicy savory chicken, they don’t skimp on the garlic sauce on the potatoes. The plate is big enough to share with 2 people. Hummus, pickled veg, and salad also great. Definitely found a new spot.
This is by far the best place to eat on campus. The food is delicious and is also a great bang for your buck. The service is usually pretty quick and there is a great alcohol selection at decent prices for a campus pub (compared to Ollie's at Carleton, for example).
WOW... this little gem doesn't seem like much on the outside, but BOY o BOY. To begin with, the owner is awesome, his chicken shawarma is juicy, and his portions are INSANE. Extremely high quality Hummus and Tabboli Salad... I can NEVER finish his platter, and I always pay less than I think. I recommend the mixed beef/chicken platter with Tabbooli salad, rice and potatoes. Please note, I'm Egyptian-Canadian and I've been eating shawarma my entire life, and so far, this guy's chicken shawerma platter is the best I've had in Canada.
