I ordered a California bowl, the food was old, fries (1) was old and greasy, it looked like it had been there for days. It didn't have any avocado, even though the menu states that it had avocado. The presentation was horrible and the food was old, i had to throw it away, couldn’t eat it.
Food good prices wrong on their website so kind of misleading but they do bring the food to your car once you pay
The most MISERABLE barrista ever. No smile, mumbling ,absolutely lethargic and just plain miserable. Slow.... as he was the only one. Cold coffee and a bagel so STALE I almost broke my tooth!
Saw that they changed gloves between each sandwhich making. As a vegetarian, I really truly appreciate that. Also the staff was super nice.
The worst coffee service, the staff did not care about getting the order right and had a bad attitude. They made my coffee like warm and when I asked for a hot one they gave me the second one without the 2 shots of espresso, when I complained they said well there nothing else we could do. The egg croissant is not fresh it's frozen and not heated well through. Terrible experience, McDonald's is right across from them (DTW) save your money and go to McDonald's.
We hadn't been to Townhouse Detroit since they remodeled. Last night, my husband and I decided to head downtown and enjoy the evening. The food was fabulous! We got appetizers, calamari and tuna, that just were about the tastiest apps we ever had. Husband got a beer, and I got a cucumber non-alcoholic drink. This drink was so refreshing and reminded me of sushi. I know that sounds weird, but trust me!
It was a bit more pricey, but the vibe was amazing and honestly, the prices were worth the it.
Shout out to Christopher, our waiter! He made excellent recommendations and paced our dining experience perfectly! We definitely will be making reservations for a special occasion next time!

I highly recommend this place I was visiting from Chicago and i stopped to eat at this place not disappointed delicious food smoothies are so good the people who work there makes u feel like home i think is a family business daughter and father were working that day they were so friendly and sweet i would definitely would come back again
I ordered the Lamb chops, they were cut very thin. The food was plentiful and tasty. However the I was very disappointed in chops themselves, for the price I paid, I expected more. I have not ordered them since.
The ambience is top-notch, inside and out; it's a preview of what to expect from the service and the menu.

This was mine and my husband’s first time here and it was so good. My favorites were the zucchini fritters, the truffle ravioli (the most unique ravioli I’ve ever had), and the raspberry dessert. It was all amazing and we will definitely be back!
Absolutely delicious food. From each section, I was pleasantly impressed each time. Focaccia bread, pork chop, and the cocoa creme brûlée is what I'd recommend to anyone!
I'm sad to say that this is my second time going to this place. The vegetables were not the freshest the first time, but I dealt with it and went a second time. This time, I had extreme gastrointestinal symptoms. I love Mexican food, but will not be going back to this place. I had a Chicken Quesadilla with salsa and chips. The chips were so hard and stale. The CQ was not fresh tasting. the cheese was like rubber and the edges of the tortillas were hard and stale. You have to care about what you are feeding your customers!
Great service and food. Everything was great. It was a high quality dining experience. Not inexpensive but also not overpriced for the quality of service, food, and drinks. This is the place you take your woman for a night out and show her how much you love her and spend some money on a great experience. This was my first time there. Although we can never expected perfect service, that is exactly what we had. My wife whom I have taken to many nice restaurants said this was the best dinner date she had experienced.
Shawarma box. Didn't care for the rubbery pickles. Too much sauce. Meet was good tender. Fries were great could not finish them all. Was very loud hard to hear when they called your order a speaker system or text paging might be good
We visited Wednesday night prior to attending a concert. Everything was amazing! The atmosphere is amazing and you feel like you’re walking into a different world.

I'll keep it short. Prices have doubled the last couple years, portions seem smaller, the new location has the worst parking you can imagine (if you try to park where it looks like you should, you'll get hounded to pay), and one of the lamest moves is they now charge 3% service fee for using a credit card. Give people a break, folks. Y'all are doing great financially, no need to nickel and dime people, especially after jacking prices so hard and making portions smaller. I love Bucharest but am not into the changes I mentioned above. We definitely come a lot less now because of it.

The greek food is very good, with a simple menu, meaning you don’t have a whole lot of items to choose. This location has a restaurant/bar with music and sports broadcasting. On Saturday it be extremely bustling, the rest of the week depends on what’s happening around town.
Only reason I gave four stars for service, is because you can wait a nice minute for your order, but it’s understandable, based on the traffic.

Just left from there 8/13/23. My daughter went on website at and ordered at 3:40pm. Said it would be ready at 4:05pm. Waited until 4:45 or 4:50 pm. While standing and not knowing where to go, young lady watching her didn’t bother to tell her where to go!!! Same girl was observed brushing her hair around the food and putting on lotion. I observed while standing there, girls packing the food. Had no gloves on while placing food in bags. Get in the car while daughter is on the phone complaining. Checking the food and the fries are super hot and chicken shawarmas was cold!!!! Understanding that the sauce is not safe to eat while COLD!!! I will be contacting the Headquarters about this!! Outrageous experience!!! Young people should be trained better people service skills and etiquette!!!

Wow. Where do I start? The ambiance, the design or the absolutely mouth watering food? I wish I could give Besa 10 stars. The beef tartar was one of the best I ever had. The pulled lamb shoulder , and the double cut lamb chops were so carefully cooked with incredible flavor combination. Last but not least - the ricotta ravioli with table-side shaved black truffle. In one word - OMG!
I had gone for date night with my husband, the service was so good & smooth. We ordered calamari , zucchini fritters for appetizers. We were recommended today’s special Ravioli stuffed with mushroom , which was mouth watering . It was the best ravioli we had till date. Ordered a cocktail - which had white rum , forgot the name of it . It was just amazing . We took Trileches cake as takeaway. Overall really happy with the place , will surely visit again to try out other food menu and most importantly the cocktails 😊❤️

This is the ultimate date place. When you walk in you can tell the place is perfect for a date. The lighting is low, the music is a mix of 2000s r&b, the seating gives you a little privacy if you pick the booths or a little visibility if you pick the window seat and want to show off your date. Additionally, there is space downstairs but we didn't get a chance to see it. We were sat immediately, the hostesses were incredibly friendly as well as the waitress. The waitress cracked jokes, gave great food recommendations, and came and checked on us often. She made the experience welcoming without being annoying. The food was good but not mind blowing. We had the seared octopus, seared manouri cheese, scallops, black seabass crudo, fresh bread and the off the menu black truffle ravioli. The ravioli and the homemade bread stole the show. Seriously, the bread was addictive and mixed with the black truffle sauce...... man..... We finished with the dark chocolate fudge torte. This thing has edible gold on it. Make sure to share because the flavor is really rich. All in all I say this is one of my favorite places in Detroit. Definitely coming back.
Absolutely dreadful coffee shop! The lack of coffee choices made me question if they even care about their customers' preferences. And don't get me started on the croissant sandwich—overpriced and tasted like cardboard. Save your money and taste buds, folks! This place deserves to be shut down. 😠🚫
We grabbed a bite to eat here after we doing a group activity downtown. We wanted something quick and tasty in this fit the bill. Most everyone enjoyed their food. I had a lamb shawarma that was a little bit salty and very garlicky. So if you love garlic, this is it. The fries were delicious. The restaurant is fast casual dining. You get a ticket and then they bring your order to your table. The service was quick, there were about eight of us and we all got our food pretty quickly. The price was good for what was ordered.
Soups are hearty and seemingly homemade. Sandwiches are flavorful and well apportioned. Have an idea of what you want when ordering, the line gets huge and others are looking to grab and go. They also have a large selection of grab-n-go salads and healthy snacks. Not too many places to sit, but this is mostly a takeout place.
First time having dinner downtown. Enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and access to the stadium. Great first impression. We will be back to enjoy the food and local entertainment.

I recently went to Townhouse, and I hadn’t been there in a couple of years. They went through a full remodel so it looks completely different than it did pre-COVID. The menu is also new. I had the Kibbeh which was great as a shareable plate. Service was excellent and the atmosphere is magical out in the greenhouse area. Definitely recommend dining here if you’re in the Detroit area!
It’s a beautiful space. Has indoor and covered patio seating. The food was delicious. Definitely up there in price but you’re also definitely paying for the experience with your meal. No regrets.
Waited 30 minutes for a coffee and a muffin: the main barista tries to speed things up and makes 80% of the work, the other person seemed totally unhelpful. Only a few items were available to eat. Seating was impossible due to the long line. A bit expensive. Will not go there again
Normally I come here at least once a week and don’t have any problems. Today I tried calling in to order and the phone system is down so I come in and place my order. Two chicken shawarma boxes and I’m pretty sure that I got the chicken sticks (the smaller version) in my boxes. Was on my lunch break so I didn’t have time to go back, coworker said “If this is the new size of the sandwich it’s all bad from here”. I hope this was a simple one time mistake.

Food was absolutely amazing! Mac & Cheese was creamy and cheesy. Asparagus was cooked to perfection and seasoned just right. The food was hot and fresh. Customer service was outstanding! The cashier was friendly, courteous and professional. There was a line when we got there, but we didn't wait long at all. I will visit again. I definitely recommend Midwest Grille.on Davison in Detroit.
I was glad to have found this place because the service was good thanks to Rome who chatted with us while we waited for our order. Also, the food was delicious. Our wait was reasonable. We were told the establishment is Black owned, which made us want to support even more. So glad we did, and we'll be back.
Wonderful spot for dinner! One of the best in Detroit. We had such a nice elegant meal here. We sat in one of the booths and it was great. All the food was wonderfully prepared. The oysters and octopus were incredible. The kale salad and entrees were also great. The service was great, attentive but we didn’t feel rushed.

But additionally, the SEC croissant sandwich was worse than something you'd get at an amusement park. Croissant was torn up, falling apart. Sausage covered about 50% of the bread. And I guess the egg and cheese were about what you'd expect.
I do hate to leave bad reviews but wow, I cannot explain how disappointed I was with this place. If the food and coffee were just bad, that's one thing. But throw in the duplicity of the overcharge, and I say AVOID this place at all cost.

There food an sauces are stellar! I recommend getting your food to-go though. The last 3 times I've ate there was within a week. Each time before going in to my work. Every single time the manager and/or owner was yelling at his staff. Each time he yelled at his employees the entirety of my visit. Very unprofessional Gentleman making every one uncomfortable. A suggestion to the guy I speak off. If you have an issue with employees, maybe wait till the end of their shift and speak to them behind closed doors.
I came here with a group of 5 in the middle of a Tuesday. The staff is incredibly welcoming, and all of the food is so hot and fresh! Absolutely delicious. I can't wait to come back here.
Ok...my lackluster review is not necessarily due to them.making bad food. Most people may like it but, I mostly didn't. This is because I am a plain, meat and potatoes guy, not this fancy stuff. Chicken was perfect though. The forbidden rice was kinda bland and portions were small. Way overpriced too IMO. Sorry...cold celery root? No thanks.
Hands down the best lamb chops!! They are always cooked to perfection. Juicy and medium well! I frequent here often and always enjoy the food. I do carry outs and have hosted a few lunch meetings in the dining area. I love sipping their fresh juices or tea while I wait for my food. The staff is always friendly and I am always excited to come back.
Ate here today while on a break from jury duty. Ordered fish tacos. Food took about 5 minutes to show up but fish was hot, corn tortillas were fresh, medium salsa was perfect, and beans / rice were tasty. I have one more day of duty, might stop in again. Inside was a bit warm, could have turned the AC up as air was a bit stagnant at the tables but food quality was excellent and would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

This was the worst dressing was runny I asked for extra cheese and there was barely any on it. $19.
Service was great and our waiter Koby was friendly and easy going. Food was delicious as well as the vibes were really nice and good for taking photos. Only downside was it was a bit draft even inside and the food did take a long time to come out. The burger was a bit dry but it dry aged so not sure if that was normal. Overall a good experience and perfect date spot.

Definitely coming back here! The restaurant is beautifully designed, delicious food, and some of the best service we have had in a very long time. We ordered the lamb chops, filet, eggplant toast and maitake mushrooms for appetizers (incredible!)
As we were leaving the owner came to the table and said we needed to try their signature trileces dessert, and he gave it to us for free! My wife’s grandfather favorite desert was this, so it plucked on the heart strings. Then Alex the manager and incredible server for us gave us a wonderful gift (image attached). We will be coming back here with friends very soon!

I placed my order at nine..they close at ten. The gentlemen that answered the phone needs to work on his customer service skills. He was rude. They were out of majority of the sides. We were also told to hurry up cause they were about to close. There food here is really good but they lack good customer skills..idk if we will be back
The flavors were popping in my mouth an hour after I finished!! Everything I ate was so good. Our host Ride was well informed about the menu and made excellent recommendations and took very good care of us. Whoever was bar tending made me the most delicious dirty martini. We split the Sable Fish and Prawns. CHEF'S KISS 😘!! I can't wait to go back again!!
Best place to pregame before hitting a show or game. While not traditional this place hits all the right spots. Fresh, fast, inexpensive. Great pricing on all drinks and portions that I didn't think would be profitable. A large shawarma salad can feed two easily as well as the fries. Cheapish parking as well. I've been eating here since the days of the Park Bar and cannot wait to see where they build next.

The best French Fries that I have ever eaten. And I have traveled over 15 countries. Crispy outside, perfectly seasoned, creamy, delicious inside. The house salad it perfecto. Very fresh veggies, and the fetta cheese on top is so good and not dry like most fetta but a creamy goodness that will have you coming back for more. That is a good fill-up for me, but if you go on, their other items are tops. And yummy beer, my buddy got a Carlsberg, and I put down a Belgium wheat called Hoegaarden absolutely delicious. I seriously recommend this place. The only thing negative is that they close at seven. I come to GRAND Rapids just to have the fries.

The ambiance of Vertical gets you right as you enter the restaurant. Our dining was amongst wine bottles. It was intimate and cozy. Our waitress was knowledgeable and attentive to our needs. Our meals were excellent! Our party of four agreed we need to come back!

I visited for lunch during my work break; it was not over crowded. We sat at the bar and had a drink first - by choice. The bar is huge and beautiful.

I ordered the dry aged-burger which was very filling and the caramelized onions made it extra flavorsome. I recommend this restaurant for location, service and because my lunch was scrumptious. I also like that I can see the chefs cooking and interacting with each other.
If you work downtown, you can catch a quick bite here and still make it back to work on time.

The BEST food in the city, period. I've dined there numerous times over the past year and their food is consistently bomb. I will think about Midwest Grille for the whole week before AND after I eat there lol. Their catering service is also top tier. Their vegan options are a bonus as well. :)
So overrated! Ordered the Italian hero, 1/2 sandwich menus says Salami, pepperoni, capicola, mortadella, provolone cheese, romaine, tomatoes, red onions & house-made Italian vinaigrette. I did get the 3 slices each of salami and pepperoni and the best part 1/2 slice of mortadella extra onions and hard tomato for $7. Looks more like a squished skimpy panini.
I found here by searching on Google and it did satisfy me! We love it and we definitely go back again when we’re visiting Detroit again.

Let's strat off by saying my coneys were cold not only that it wasn't a real coney hotdogs is was a regular cheap boiled hotdogs. This use to be one the best coneys in the D but they have lost there touch don't go there. I sure that my dogs were microwaved because I heard the door close and I was the only one in the restaurant.

The best soup and salads I’ve ever had. Shout out to Carrie - she is the heart and soul of this place. She always goes above and beyond - remembering every guest by name, and their order! I am a huge fan of this place, a must try spot for lunch in downtown Detroit.
The restaurant looks pretty nice from outside and the inside needs the holiday decor down. Food came out fresh and fast. Bread was cooked a little hard but garlic made up for. The staff were pleasant and inviting. A Lil pricey however it is too be expected. Shish kafta was a little spicier than I've had at other places, chicken vegetable soup was very flavorful. This place is nice for a date or a family meal.

Food use to be better. I purchased a corn beef as always and the meat is not as good as it use to be and they give you less meat and want you to pay more. Don't know what happened maybe it's the cooks but the food is definitely not good anymore.
Vertical Detroit was an awesome find during our stay in Detroit. This restaurant is high end featuring an expansive wine menu. Chef Matt Barnes prepared tantalizing dishes that were bursting with flavor and cooked perfectly. The pork belly was tender, delicate, and mouth watering.

I ordered breakfast this morning and it was disgusting. My omelette had hair in it and my hash browns were burnt. I went back to the restaurant with the food and went to the drive thru window . Told her I was there earlier and it was hair in my food. I handed her the food and receipt and she looks in it and says what do I want her to do. So I go in and they can’t refund me because the manager isn’t available. The disrespectful cashier is an insult to injury. Will not eat here.
It is really nice to have vegan options. I appreciate it and don't want to sound ungrateful, but these options were not at all tasty. The falafel was microwaved and flavorless. The beautiful crunch of real falafel followed by that unique punch in the face flavor just wasn't here. The falafel tasted like warm cardboard. The soup that was vegan has enough flavor to have me bump the stars from 1 to 2. However, the ambience and service was quite gruff and didn't feel inviting.

I follow the cook on IG and been wanting to make my way over there on a min. I finally made it and it did not disappoint. The foos taste as good as the picture
Customer Service was not that good. The food was salty. I had the hibachi with steak shrimp and chicken$35. I asked for my steak to be cooked medium well and was told they Cook everything well done. Despite my request🤦🏽♂️ First impressions mean a lot. I like to support small businesses, but not sure if I’ll go back.
Experience was good. Order lavender honey latte ($5.75ish) with a croissant ($3.25). The cashier was nice and trying to move and fast as she could. The food is pre-made. Bagel comes with cream cheese but you have to put it on yourself. Coffee was fine. The latte does come unsweetened so grab a pack or 2 of sugar. They have other grab and go bevs and raw juices and snacks. The vibe is very LA but lacks employees. Just coffee, go here. A full breakfast go to Coney a few feet away or McDonald's across the hall.
Definitely a popular place! Line was long, but worth the wait. I ordered the Atomic Turkey on focaccia bread and a cup of spicy seafood and chicken jambalaya soup. Sandwich was delicious and soup was good and spicy! The lady behind the food counter making everything is AMAZING and works diligently even with a long line of people waiting to order.
I stopped by this location while waiting for work to be done on my car. The breakfast was hot 🔥 and enjoyable. I ordered the Pancakes special with sausages links and scramble eggs with cheese.
To me, this location serves the best gyros outside of the Greektown area. Salads like grilled chicken Caesar and the Greek are always fresh and we'll portioned.
$3.99 breakfast special can't be beat.

Experienced a great deal of disrespect from the Manager over the phone at the Livernois location. He hung up on me after I tried to explain to him that his restaurant is on Postmates, with the menu and pricing and all-allowing people to request orders even though he claims that he’s not on any of the food delivery apps. I told him that it would be best for him to download these apps and investigate,and have his restaurant taken off these apps so that people like me don’t place an order just to have a pending authorization charge that’s double the order,and wait hours for food that won’t even come. He told me to call my financial institution and got upset with me and made it seem like it was my problem instead of even trying to look into the situation. A good business would have said “I’m sorry that happened to you,please call your financial institution and I will investigate the situation on Postmates and get our restaurant removed from the app since we don’t participate with any of the food delivery platforms.” But instead the manager was rude and dismissive and slammed the phone on me. This was my first attempt at supporting this restaurant and now I will never eat there.
Poor customer service!!! Disrespectful. And my order wasn't right. Called no answer. Had to drive back up there. They laughed when i asked to be compensated...sitting thru the drive thru again. Don't go there people! Let's do black owned businesses GO TO DC CONEY ON DEXTER

Love the food! But when you call in they don't cook it until you come in. Which will slow your day down if you have scheduled events.
Nice place to have my morning coffee and pancakes. Great Cook, great Customer service. Awesome desserts, give them a visit ASAP.
This smells, and it the salad dressing is nothing but oil. Anyway 1st time eating here Greek salad $7.41and WILL NEVER AGAIN and I see why there's NO CUSTOMERS. I GET MORE SALAD FOR A DOLLAR MORE WITH MEAT AT BURCHEST GRILL $8.47....

I arrived a little after 8 & was told it was too late.to place an order. Another gentleman came out & took my order with no problem. This was my 1st time here & 1st impressions are everything. I didn't have to wait long for my food after ordering & the food was delicious. I had lamb chops with mac & cheese & asparagus ... My girl had the stuffed salmon with garlic mash & fried corn on the cob. We'll definitely be going back soon.

Hands down the best lunch spot Downtown Detroit!!! The line is usually pretty long but moves much faster than you'd think. This place isn't only affordable, the food is 🔥🔥🔥🔥. I usually go with the the soup & sandwich for like $9. So far I've had the Atomic Turkey & the Buffalo Chicken wrap, both amazing!! The soup changes daily but at least you know it's fresh, sandwiches are made fresh as well. As for the soups I've had the Seafood Lobster Bisque & the Creamy Chunky Chicken, no flaws in either. The corn bread also SLAPS & only costs $1.
I had been wanting to try this place for a while now. The food was ok, I've had much better Mexican food. The wait time wasn't long and the service was good. I ordered the marinated ground beef quesadilla combo with beans and rice. The quesadilla was of much better quality than the sides.
Good coffee, but service was a bit slow for an airport. Hopefully, they'll catch their stride and speed up once they're open for a while.
Very good fish tacos. The tilapia has been cooked perfectly both times I have been. The place is a no frills Mexican restaurant with good prices and quick service. Salsa bar is nice with many different types of salsa for free. Mostly a carry-out but there is some seating, although not a table service type of establishment. They have a wide variety of Mexican sodas as well from coke to sprite to squirt and jarritos.

Best authentic fast casual Mexican in all of downtown. Tacos are cheap and piled with meat. The burritos are some of the best I have ever had. The large serve yourself salsa bar is amazing. Place gets pretty busy for lunch. The breakfast menu is amazing as well
