Nice atmosphere and food is good but i was served warm steak and not hot.

The menu was a bit disappointing. I wasn’t blown away by the dishes like I have been at other fine dining restaurants, and the total volume was way too little; we were still hungry after the last course, and went to get some additional food elsewhere after we were done.
The wines on the other hand were great, and the sommelier was lovely, absolute five stars in this area and on the service. For the price I would recommend other (nearby) fine dining establishments.

I dined at Fitzgerald in Rotterdam for a special evening dinner and opted for the 7-course menu, adjusting the dessert to an à la carte option. Overall, I was quite impressed with the quality of the food. From the amuse-bouche to the dessert, the quality of the ingredients and the execution of all the dishes were excellent.
However, while the dishes themselves were impressive, the service fell far short of the standards expected from a Michelin-starred restaurant. The service was particularly slow, from the delay in presenting the menu to the lack of attentiveness from the sommelier. The staff appeared overwhelmed and struggled to provide the level of attention and care that one anticipates in a fine dining establishment. Notably, this was on a Saturday evening when the restaurant had plenty of available tables, making the poor service even less justifiable.
When I pointed out the slow service, I was met with the explanation that the restaurant was “busy”, an unconvincing excuse given the circumstances. Furthermore, no effort was made to adjust the situation, such as offering a complimentary glass of wine, an additional amuse-bouche/dessert, or even an apology from the chef. This lack of a response to a customer’s feedback exacerbated the disappointment.
In summary, while the food was undeniably excellent, the substandard service is the main reason I would hesitate to return. It is particularly disappointing as Fitzgerald is a Michelin-starred restaurant, and such establishments are expected to deliver a seamless dining experience. Delicious dishes, friendly and professional staff and a very cosy place to be. Oliva is one of the best Italian restaurants in Rotterdam. Make sure you book a table in advance. Parking nearby is easy but expensive.

Food was not that good compared to the price. More specifically the taste and at some dishes the quantity was poor also. Service and atmosphere was fine. Delicious wine!Burrata salad was the only dish that was definitely tasty!

I had my eyes on this restaurant for a while now, and finally, I went last night. We had the 4 course tasting meniu and a wine pairing. The staff was really kind and warm and the service they provided was smooth. The food they served was absolutely amazing, offering a variety of options. We had fish for starters, a creamy ravioli as a second dish (my favorite), and an amazing steak as the main plus desert. The portion was perfectly sized. We left feeling full, and for the price, it's definitely a steal. We will definitely be back for more soon. It sincerely meets the expectations, and I highly recommend eating here.
We took the all-included arrangement (food, drinks, dessert), best deal ever! It was amazing. Considering we were very loud guests (very very sorry!) we can only praise the staff for their work, patience, service, smile, and persistence. I am happy to come back here. Great food and so much different delicious things to try! If it is a friday or saturday, ofcourse you’re going to wait a bit more than in a usual restaurant, that makes sense when it’s so busy! We ordered a lot, in the beginning it didn’t go fast, but then later on all of a sudden a lot of food appeared! It’s a very fun and special experience here, and very few places can beat this at the current price. WELL DONE!
One of the better sushi and sashimi places in Rotterdam. Great service and an inspiring vibe since it is located in an old concrete warehouse with high ceilings. They have a wide choice of food and the quality is very good.

The personnel working was only 2 people and they were rushing around to help customers but the delivery/preparation was too slow. You have to place your next order as soon as you receive your first plate, otherwise you have to wait around 30-40 mins per round. If you find this trick, you can eat enough food. Food was okayish but the first experience ruined enough to think about the rest of the night.

I came here for dinner and opted for the 4 course vegetarian menu and a glass of Prosecco (which was fresh and rejuvenating). All of the food including the bread, olives and the olive oil was really good quality, tasted really nice and was presented beautifully. Each dish had some complexity to it and grew in flavor as the fork dug deeper. The service was friendly and pleasant and the place felt right. My only point of improvement would be to have a bigger sink in the mens toilet. The current one is not able to support anything more than a rinse. I will definitely revisit and this was probably one of my best dinners in Rotterdam.

We went to La Cubanita Zoetermeer en I give this location a 5+ stars. La Cubanita Rotterdam was still very nice, but Zoetermeer made the expectation really high for us. Rotterdam just did not meet my expectations completely.

So if you went there and you were not completely satisfied, maybe it is the ordering system, just communicate this ib time with your waitress. Very tasty kapsalon - we tried with lamb and with chicken and both meats were tender and flavorful. Good garlic sauce too and friendly service. Glad we ordered the large size!
Early evening dinner, the vegan Gyoza were a bit hard. The vegetable rice was barely warm. The barley wine was served too cold. Possibly better later in the evening?

we had a delicious multi-course menue with great wine accompaniment. We could sit very privatly because the tables were placed far apart.
The guy was very rude. Never visit this place you have self respect. Very disappointed.
Defintely one of the high end restuarants in town. I especially love the Erasumus bridge amuse which represents Rotterdam so well and starting the course with a smile and a welcoming feeling. Food, wine, service & atmosphere - everything is “too perfect”.

Place good but if we need great Kebab the best is country Belgium because they have great quality.
We went as a family to this restaurant, and the food was good, however, the waiters at this restaurant were very rude and unfriendly. We asked them to pack the food that was leftover because we had quiet some leftovers. But they did it with a plain heart. They looked so frustrated at the slightest of requests which was very uncalled for. I think overall vibe of the restaurant was brought down by the behaviour and unwillingness of the waiters to cooperate. I think restaurants should actually encourage the concept of takeaway food because all of it at the end goes to waste. I think it’s important to be mindful of wasting food and not be so rude when one asks for it.

The service here is second to none. Bas especially stands out as someone who is both informed and competent in their work. The atmosphere is so comforting and soothing that you won't even notice the passage of time. The dishes are excellent. This is a spot that has my full endorsement. The whole thing has been great and much beyond any of my expectations.

What an amazing experience. We reserved/prepaid a booing online for Sat night dinner for 2. We opted for the 7 course menu with wine paring and it was totally worth it. Wonderful and surprising dishes with the right choice of wine. The only thing that could be improved is the explanation behind each dish and wine paring. Other than that a 5 star experience.
Delicious sushi rolls, especially the Truffle Beef sushi. A bit expensive for only 4 pieces, but a must try. They also have Sushi pokebowls and donburi. We tried the Unagi donburi, the unagi was warm and right flavoured, but not special and he added rice was not a match. The rice was topped and mixed with coleslaw salade in a lot of salade sauce. We tried both the 5-course menu (paired with the vine tasting) and some orders à la carte. Eating here was an amazing experience that we will keep remembering for a long time! Delicious flavors, beautiful presentation, great attention to detail. Great service and ambiance. Worth every penny for those who want to celebrate a special occasion.
Overall underwhelming. The place is big and nicely decorated, looks fancy. However the food is subpar. We ordered the sushi boat, as did everyone else it seemed, but we understood that people just order it for the looks. The sushi was very average, and took an hour to arrive. Made us question if it really deserved such prices. For the dessert we got the chocolate cake, which tasted like a frozen chocolate lava cake from the supermarket. They also opened loud music which didn’t fit the ambience, it was hard to hear each other speaking. The servers were at least friendly and interested. Overall not worth the expensive prices, there are better places to eat sushi for a better price.

A special experience where flavors take you to another level of food enjoyment. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Was definitely the most delicious wagyu stake I ever had.
We went on a Sunday with family and friends but found that the food was exorbitantly priced. The quality and concept can be improved really. The concept says "all you can eat" but once inside the restaurant, we were informed lot of things were to be paid extra or could be ordered inly once. Earlier, Tried to call the restaurant on the phone but just could not get through. Finally, got a call from the restaurant much later. On the website, can make reservations for a price but cannot make changes to reservations.
On Firday evening, I went out for dinner with a friend; the service was very friendly, the food was good, and it was nice to be able to choose from a variety of dishes and then enjoy them. I don't like the decor, but that is a personal preference. It wasn't the best location, but that didn't bother us. We shared unlimited tapas, wine, and a dessert.
Their eel sushi is the best item on their menu! 😎👌🔥 If I'm feeling super hungry, then I like to order their grilled eel over rice because it's more filling. Very happy to have them so close by!

Great overall experience. Food is excellent. Make sure to order their signature dish Likkepot Joelia if you go with their fixed menu, it is definitely worth the supplement. Only negative was them being a little bit short staffed towards the end (restaurant was getting fuller throughout the evening).
The rice is to sweet and to well done to get a more positive comment this time. Some are over spiced too. Unagi lacks depth too. The tuna sushi however has great potential if only you trust the kaffirlime aroma instead of spicing it up!!

It’s interesting place however I was expecting more from Michelin’s start ⭐️. The signature dish is pigeon. It’s a strong taste, with pigeon meat I miss some side dish that will balance the whole experience. Pigeon stew is great , but pigeon breast too strong. The place has an excellence wine selection from the all around the globe with all price ranges. You have 4,5,6 or 7 menu. If you can choose take a table in the main room not in the front room.
By far the most delicious food. The bread is baked fresh, the adana is made from fresh meat, no frozen shenanigans. You can tastes that the vegetables are day fresh as well. Would 100% recommend it. I always order two addana platers. Me and my wife are always full, and I am a pretty heavy eater. Would recommend it.

We really had a wonderful evening at Joelia. All dishes were remarkably delicious. The wine list were amazing. The service is excellent, very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was really nice and luxurious.
When we arrived, the homemade crunch mixture was on the table and that was so good!! The Amuse bouches were really creative and delicious. After a wonderful 5 course menu, we were treated with a delicious complimentary dessert. And that ended the perfect evening. We really enjoyed the night and will definitely come back!!

The restaurant is certainly a must visit in Rotterdam. The staff is extremely courteous and will satisfy every wish. The food is phenomenally good. The watermelon in particular is an exciting composition of appearance, texture and taste. If desired, the sommelier will serve excellent wines to accompany each course. The prices are absolutely reasonable. I will definitely come back here for dinner on every visit to Rotterdam.

Food quality is pretty decent but it is a bit pricey. They're open up to very late and would visit this place after working the whole night if I was very hungry. They can have very very big portion sizes if you desire that. Exactly what you need at 2am.

While I was waiting for my order, the assistant started intrusively asking me where im from, what's my name and how old am I. Usually I can handle these situations and I was just kind and answered his questions. When he (a complete stranger) asked me if I was married, I said it's none of his business and then he started ridiculing me, saying that I answered all of these questions and skipped the 'marriage' one. Although he left afterwards and the older man apologized, I felt really belittled and humiliated because I was trying to be polite and engaged into conversation with him. at that time it felt like ignoring him would make things even worse or get him angry. It's really annoying how a woman can't go to get food without being harrased or laughed at. Thanks for the nice food but that encounter really ruined my evening.
We had a wonderful dinner at oliva. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They have fine wines and digestifs. We had the zander (snoekbaars) with the black rice and purple carrots. The fish had a subtle taste which contrasted well with the more outspoken taste of the rice and carrots. The rosé and white wines we had during lunch matched the food perfectly. Finally, the waiters were very helpful and friendly.
The burgerbun is tasty, but how do you manage to deliver soft fries every single time. H o w. It is actually our mistake that we have hope that the next time will be crispy as it should be, with some kind of sauce. I stopped ordering here and I will prevent anyone else.

It was so good. I can barely move right now, I ate so much, I won't be eating for the rest of the week! I went with a friend (who also can't move) and we ate til our hearts content for 2 and a half ours. The meat was of the highest quality and the dessert was the icing on the cake, literally. Totally worth the price, I'll definitely be back again in the future!
Worse place ever! I made an order via Thuisbezorgd, after 1,5 hours of waiting I called the place, somebody was swearing and in very rude form told me that my order will not be delivered, and that I paid for an order it is my problem!!
