Unum is a Terrible insurance and Marybeth is a terrible case worker, very inconsistent never Able to get them on the phone Horrible communication. They’re just trying to get rid of clients who really do need this insurance that’s why we signed up. It needs to be illegal what Unum is doing to people. It’s life changing and emotional draining. Life is already hard in this state of being and mind. Unum makes me want to end life. The fight is too much most days then to have to fight for something else that I shouldn’t be fighting for. Haven’t received payment in over a month and a half. Debbie Cruise will not respond to my calls or voicemails. I would turn around if your thinking using them as a provider.

We had been receiving monthly payments for disability. The payments suddenly stopped, and all of our drs have submitted documents to them as requested. We have now hired an attorney and are also going to the media.

My recommendation to anyone is to avoid using UNUM. We can’t wait too see Brian Martin on TV. He is extremely inept, never has a straight answer and seems to be nothing more than a yes man to the higher ups. An external investigation by the authorities is recommended.

Great leadership and customer service!

Absolutely horrible. It is hard to get a hold of who you need to talk to, their policy books doesn't match their payments or measurements, and it is like pulling teeth to actually get a payment from them. I wish we could go back to the old insurance we had.

Poor Service at the office level. If you want to feel like your business is not valued, this is the agency for you. I have been with this agency for a few years, and every time I've had to have an interaction with Mark, it's as if my business doesn't matter to him. Multiple policy mistakes were made over the years and any time this was brought up, I was treated like some sort of "problem customer". Finally, this year at renewal time I decided to cut ties and move on. Again, if you want to be unvalued then this is the agency for you.

Not to good of help when it comes to agents in my opinion. I called for help with 3 clients that I had. someone said they will email me quotes and info for the right life insurance company for them. Never received the info. I also emailed my recruiter for some and she never got back to me. Bad business.

Mark, Fritz and staff are great and responsive to needs. I know there is a lot of paper shoveling but it seems unnecessary these days to have all of it. It would be nice to have each policy with a short statement policy number, phone number. It gets overwhelming with all the paperwork.
