We are regular customers for the last 2 decades even though there were few management changes, my family came specifically to have fish head mai fun for lunch, however the tall bespectacled lady told us the item was sold out then we requested for fish slice mai fun again she told us no more for the day. Therefore we ordered other food instead, while we were halfway our lunch, we noticed the next table who came about 5 minutes later than us was served with fish slice or fillet mai fun. We confronted the staff before we left and asked why she told us the fish head or slice/fillet mai fun was sold out for the day while the next table was being served. Earlier the same lady also rudely asked the elderly man whether he is ready to place his order or vacate his table space for others, while he was actually waiting for two more guests to join him shortly. Without due apology for her bad customer service and ignorance, I would suggest the new management should look into improving their staff service and mannerism.

Had the roast pork, but the roast pork was missing the crispy skin on top, was a regular customer, the quality had dropped throughout the year
Best Hong Kong cafe in Perth! The food was amazing, staff had a lovely smile on their face all the time. Would comeback with my family!

Today we called in to reserve a table for 20mins later. The staff claimed that they weren't able to hear us even though we were shouting into the phone. They were rude, had no patience to listen to our request, hastily asked for our name, and then told us to come now.
We travelled over 15km, only to arrive to a full restaurant with no reservation for us. They gave no apologies and no acknowledgement of their mess up. They tried to give us the outside table but didn't pay us much attention while doing so. We left shortly after as it was clear they did not want to serve us.
They take their customers for granted, let their success get to their head. They've forgotten the importance of customer service.
We've also realised that recently the take out portions have decreased significantly, not even filling half the container at times. When we dine in the portions are much more than what we get when we take away.
Better off going elsewhere.

Terrible experience. We ordered 2 x scotch fillet sizzling set meals and wanted the meat to be cooked MEDIUM. We waited 30min for the food to arrive and turned out to be inedible raw beef. When we complained and said we don't want the set meal anymore, waitress with glasses took our sizzling plate and said she would speak to the chef. In the end she never came back to explain or offer any other services. While waiting in frustration we decided not to eat anymore and pay for the food at the counter. Hence mentioning to the waitress meal was raw and not finished when she collected our plate. The waitress apologised and said they can not do anything about it because when you cook the meat you can not tell if meat is cooked or raw. That was the worse excuse ever. She insisted we pay full price when we didn't finish half of the inedible meal.

We ordered Hokien Mee, Kway Teow, Veg, and hotplate Japanese tofu. Malaysian Hokien Mee was average, veg was good and well prepared, and Kway Teow was justified.
very generous portion and price is very affordable. highly recommend any Stir-fry and hainaness chicken
They are OG in Bullcreek, but also OG at horrible service. We don't expect 5 star service, but a smile won't break your hips. To the 2 young girls, hospitality isn't for you. Side note, their food is standard and taste even better when you're squished right next to another customer.
This place is always busy, make sure you call up to make a booking first! We came on a Monday night, its full house. All the food we ordered are delicious, especially the scrambled egg & prawn with rice! Menu is big, so many authentic hk food, taste really good as well. We will visit more often if it’s closer to home.
Great food at a very affordable price. Attentive and quick service, had crry laksa and was tasty. Would like to come back and try more dish next time.
I ordered the fillet steak thick cut, it was probably the best piece of steak I've ever paid for, juicy and delicious, my wife and I are going back to try some more of thier menu 😋
Bought half a kilo crispy roast pork, the pork had so much fats little meats. When the chefs chopped it, he put all the bones and the burned bits in the box. We also bought the bbq pork strips which tasted hard and burned. The quality of the foods is not like before. Not recommended.
Amazing food, authentic as though I’m back in Hong Kong. Missing star for atmosphere due to the sheer volume from everyone, too noisy.
Bought 500g roast pork yesterday. The staff weighed in front of us at 570g before chopping. When we took it home to re-weigh it, it was 470g including the weight of the box. Surely chopping won't make the pork 'lose' 20% of its weight! Not happy with the dishonesty!
food was very flavourful but a bit too salty for my taste, portions were very big. definitely recommend the steak and pork
Revising my rating to 1 star (previously a 5*). This place has become intolerable and unpleasant despite earlier pleasant experiences.
These days they are rude and uninterested. When you call them they don't ever seem to have the patience to answer properly, they would interrupt even as you are talking, and they would yell back rudely. And even if they do hear you, they don't respond anyway. We have had phone orders, table reservations agreed/ promised but not fulfilled. We have traveled all our way a few times only for them to shrug at us and not even having any decency for a sorry.
Customers are the bedrock of their success and they seem to have forgotten it. Just look at the number of recent low ratings and it paints a consistent picture of them having become too arrogant. Not gonna bother with this place anymore, regardless how tasty their food may be. Keep treating your customers with contempt, and your customers will definitely vote with their feet.

I saw a lot of good reviews, maybe it’s not suitable for food delivery. Very unpalatable and difficult to swallow. It cost 130 Australian dollars for four dishes and was very disappointing. Like another reviewer said there was a lot of cornstarch added and it looked like thick snot. Never posted a negative review this is the first time
Very average food. Meat was chewy and not much of it. Bulked up with lots of onion. Not much room between tables and very noisy. Decor is old fashioned and table legs get in your way and make sitting uncomfortable. Tried it once and would not go again. Staff were very friendly, could not fault them there.
I should’ve read the recent reviews from a month ago. All the food was so bland and all the meats were marinated in cornflour and felt like we were eating plastic. The sauces were all just oyster sauce based, thick and starchy and the chicken dish was overpowered with cooking wine. This would have to be the worst Chinese food I’ve had from a restaurant. Not sure why because it used to be not too bad. I literally couldn’t eat any of the dishes even tho I was really hungry. Really disappointed and won’t be returning. Will stick with the hawkers restaurant adjacent which is always consistent and tasty.
This restaurant is hidden away but it is always busy, no matter what time you go. Even with the busy crowd, service remains very quick, food is very tasty, flavourful, not too salty or oily. One of our favourites in Bull Creek, highly recommended.
A small restaurant with limited tables and seatings, always busy but they do take bookings (recommended). Seatings are very crowded and limited spaces between tables. Food doesn’t usually take long to be served and is tasty. Service is ok, although could be better. Sometimes booking or time change gets missed which gets really frustrating having to wait around still. Despite the above, we still always enjoy meals here.
Authentic Hong Kong food. Loads of classic fusion dishes like chicken chop, pork chop, and chicken cutlet. The serves are large and meals aren't expensive. This place is a hidden gem.

Had honey chicken with rice and Pad Thai combi, both lunch specials. Portion was good and the taste is great. We came in on a Sunday noon time and there wasn't anyone else ordering / ordered. Throughout our meal, the place is manned by one person who does it all; order taking, cashier, preparing and cooking our meals and serving us. We would visit here again.

I have to admit that they have good roast duck. But they lack of hospitality service, especially in food industry. They need to learn to greet customers, say thank you to customers. Smile a bit, and being helpful when the customers asked something like cutlery, extra plate or chili oil instead of just pointing fingers on where to get those.
Food here is pretty good and served quickly after ordering. Portions for the dishes are also generous. Staff are friendly and polite however they did not fill up the tea pots as regularly. The table arrangement felt a bit cramped but it was lucky that diners were spaced out. Overall still an enjoyable evening.
What a shocker, ordered through Menu log, 1st mistake, ordered from this place, 2nd mistake. Special Fried Rice, nothing special here, nothing extra like meats or prawns like most other places, very bland, no flavour at all. Honey chicken, hmmm pieces so small that they were hard and unpleasant, salt & pepper squid. Oh dear, no flavour other than spices chucked on top for presentation. The squid tasted like water so obviously frozen, Gordon Ramsey would be horrified. Rang them up as I was missing an item, couldn't hear so much commotion going on, spoke to 4 people all insisted it went in the bag clearly didn't because 3 dishes could only fit in 1 bag. Asked driver, that's another story, he said that's all they gave him, 3rd person on phone said who am I going to believe a business or a driver.....well??? 1st time, last time....get a woolies flavour sachet, it'll taste better.

The uncle here runs lunchtime specials till 1430 which are incredible value for money. Have sampled the sieu yook (crispy roast pork) several times and it's always crispy. Char Sieu (bbq pork) is nicely balanced with just enough fat in the cut and not overpoweringly sweet.
Be warned, the Uncle is an old skool salty HK chef, and is learning English (read: he's not front of house). So be patient, point to menu items you want. If you're trying to learn Cantonese he will correct you with good humor!

Really good food, nice casual atmosphere, friendly staff. Seriously recommend you try them, we didn't have a single complaint.
Interior is well decorated with a Chinese style. The food is not bad and the takeaways are cheaper than dine in. We had takeaways and it was still warm when we got home. We've had better sweet and sour pork but the honey chicken is nice.

Excellent and authentic Malaysian/Singaporean cuisine. They have fried carrot cake with bean sprouts (very yummy), laksa was ok, their fried rice (I tried both beef and seafood) were excellent, tahu goreng wasn’t impressive it was more like tahu with satay sauce and fried udon was ok. Spacious place but old. General cleanliness can improved. I don’t mean the food or utensils are unclean or the place is ounhygienic, I had no issues with the food at all. It is just that for an old place, it is expected, you will notice there is dust accumulated at cashier area, chairs are old and decorations are dated. I frequent this place for good food at a good price :)
