Brilliant place if you want a cake for any occasion. This is my second time placing a cake order. My first one was my wedding cake. My second one was a cake for my son who was leaving for university. It was a surprise for him, and he absolutely loved it. I was also so impressed. They made just how I wanted it. It was a chocolate cake, and it tasted amazing. I would definitely recommend this place

Tried so many places. Best by far. Professional & great communication. She is an artist. The cakes are as tasty as beautiful not overly sweet which i was very impressed by.

I ordered with these tonight they took 2 hrs and they then rang me and said the driver was lost, but he would be on his way. 20minutes later they cancelled my order. Then stayed too far to deliver. Even though its an 8min drive, Absolutely shocking service!! Never again

I placed an order on Uber eats from Middlebrook
Firstly, you think it’s cheap but they charge you for everything! Even 50p for salt 🧂.
I waited for the order and when the arrival time passed I called.
The lady was rude and standoffish and just said yea he’s on his way. She said he’d call me. Another twenty mins passes, no order, no call. I called back- no answer. Called again and again. No answer. Called again - now she’s blocked my number or turned off the phone.
I’d given up when the driver calls me (this is no an hour after I first called the shop). He’s apparently ten mins away and had some problems as he got pulled over by the police.
He said he was fifteen mins away and the food was apparently still hot and slushie not melted!
I waited another half and hour. Tried to call him, text him - no reply. Called again and again and tried the shop again - no response.
Three hours after I placed the order it arrived. Was completely cold and inedible and to be honest even if had have been hot it still would have been pretty awful food. All in all I spent over two hours chasing the order up and tried to call at least 30 times! Not to mention the texts!

Had a beautiful wedding cake made by Nicola at celebrations cakes. Was short notice but she was very helpful and accommodating. Looked and tasted amazing! Amazing service! Thank you!

Absolutely disgusting customer service. Spoke to them twice that order was late. Staff was rude and put the phone down on me. Then think they blocked my number. Order was over £50 that we never revived. Absolutely ridiculous service. I’m surprised they still have a business. Complete joke! Stay clear from this place.

Not impressed. We ordered a cake from here for my fathers retirement. We were recommended to come here by a relative. My wife went to the first visit and was asked about a list of things she wanted on the cake. She told them the things she would like on the cake. We originally wanted three buses on the cake with each being from different companies he had worked for. They said three buses wouldn't fit, so she said it would be nice to have at least pictures of the other buses on the side of the cake going around. From here no suggestions, enthusiasm or guidance was given about what would look good or not on the cake e.g. colour schemes or design ideas. No creativity was displayed or offered. No examples of what they have done in the past or what they could do. Being a professional cake shop you would at least expect this, in the same way a kitchen outlet would design a kitchen for you by having a discussion it maybe drawing something out for you especially since you are paying so much money.

We got a call on the day of the party. When my wife saw the cake she was not happy. They made a nice bus on top made completely from icing. They didn't add my fathers name on the bus as agreed, instead just the date. They didn't stick a plaque on the cake as agreed and instead they just leaned it on the cake. They didn't add the pictures of the buses on the side even though my wife sent them the pictures. They just added a big logo of diamond buses which we didn't ask for. The top of the cake was completely plain on top and this didn't seem to bother them. I had to request that they add something on top like a road and bushes to make it seem busier. All this happened near closing time so we didn't even have that much time to play with.

We felt like they didn't show any interest in making our cake and didn't recognise how important it was to us. We were very disappointed in their efforts although in the end the cake was presentable it was not as good as we would have expected for £120 and the experience was not pleasant and stressful. We will not be ordering from here again.

I can’t rate Occasion Cakes highly enough for them helping me out this weekend, I needed a 90th birthday cake within 2 hours of a party starting and they pulled out all the stops to make this happen. Thank you so much

I would recommend this place to everyone. When i went to collect and saw the cake i was blown away. It was 100 x better than i had expected. Such a lovely bunch of staff too. I literally gave them the order 10 days prior and without any hassle they got the job done. Everyone that saw the cake was absolutely amazed.

Food arrived 45 mins late, order placed at 10pm!!! Rang up at 11.30 to see where order was and staff who answered phone very rude and told me it was out on delievery. Food arrived 20 mins later. Have order these items before so know what they should look like. Vegan lotus bar, gluten free brownies, I recieved 2 cake slices so no way they are correct. Tried to ring them to get it sorted but not answering the phone

The staff members were really lovely, and helped us decide which cake to order. And the cakes from this cake box is too good and delicious. I would definitely come here again.

Great cakes made by the talented and hardworking Occasion Cakes over the last few years, including the most recent Overwatch cake this month! Each cake appears to have been made with great care and taste/tasted fantastic. Great quality and quantity. I find not being too specific and picky, and just letting them be creative seems to get me and my partner great results every time.

The cakes here are outstanding and thoughtful. Thinking about not just vegetarians but also vegans can eat this cake aswell. It taste like a normal cake. This cakes here really makes you want to have more also texture soft like the clouds. Very delicious,also should try the vanilla cakes there. There's only one word to describe cake box and it's amazing

Ordered, food meant to be of come between 8.10pm - 8.30pm

Called the restraunt and was addressed with a rude lady on the phone. Told it would be about 20mins. 50 minutes later called back and she apparently passed my number to the driver. Its now 10.23pm and I still haven't recieved my food. Or had a call from the driver.

I have tried to call back but they are now closed.

Avoid ordering at all costs. They are difficult to speak to and they clearly don't deliver your food.

We ordered a cake for our son’s first birthday at Cale Box Bolton. The staff were very friendly and also were patient to guide us and provide recommendations. We got a photo printed on the cake and the additional charge was half the price of services which sell photo cake toppers.

All in all liked the cake and service. Yes, the cake is more expensive than what we get in a supermarket but again it doesn’t taste like a regular supermarket cake so we were happy to spend a little extra.

Beautiful cake for my aunty’s 60th birthday and home delivery to our house. We were kept updated with photos of how the cake was progressing and were very impressed with the lifelike figure and decorations on the cake (it also tasted amazing!)

A 10 mile journey took 3 hours and this was the state of the cake. I several times but went to answer phone, eventually got through to be told at 2 hours that it was on its way, it turned up an hour later.

AVOID! Delivery said 6pm latest, arrived 8.05pm and hotdog was stone cold and ice cream had fully melted. They said on Just Eat it had been delivered at 6.20pm which was a total lie. Price is crazy for the poor service and terrible food. I would have liked to have put 0 stars. Will never order from there again. Trying to get my money back from Just Eat as had to bin the lot but they are being difficult as it arrived - cannot believe that, how is food delivered 2 hours late going to be edible?

Occasion cakes did our son & daughters christening cake and wow how amazing! We discussed our theme of Peter rabbit and the girls came up with a bespoke design that we loved! We’ve been loyal customers for years having got our wedding cake and numerous birthday cakes over the years and they never disappoint.

It’s was my daughter’s birthday at the weekend and we struggled to find anyone to make a cake because of Christmas shut down, and the usual place we go to is never open. My wife found Crown n’ Cake on Google and the lady said she could make a Minecraft cake in two days. It was amazing!!! My wife said the cake was so light, and she’s a tough cake critic. If I can figure out how to upload a picture of it, I will. Can’t recommend this business enough. Thank you so much.

Cake not bad but extremely expensive for size same with the milkshake but only drank half as it was too sickly won’t be going again very disappointed

ZERO STARS! ABSOLUTE DISGRACE, DO NOT ORDER! Food arrived over 1 hour late. Rang 4 times, spoke to a girl who didn’t show any regard or take any ownership. 1st call.. food is round the corner, 2nd call.. driver has turned his tracker off, 3rd call.. I’ll contact the driver and call you back.. (no call back), 4th call.. I’ll call you back (of course no call back)! Ice cream chocolate brownie sundae arrived as cream chocolate brownie sundae, as it was totally melted and the brownie was soggy. The taste was awful and it went straight in the bin. When we asked the driver when he collected he said 30 mins ago (although 15 min drive), so she was fobbing us off for an hour! This place is not cheap, £20 for 2 sundaes. They urgently require a customer service adviser that cares and helps and better quality food, and of course fast delivery (especially when it’s ice cream)! Extremely disappointed, ruined I’m a celebrity get me out of here!

Excellent cake, every layer was delicious. Nicola made the wedding cake to exactly what we wanted, even when we changed one of the layers late on. She delivered samples for us to try, which were again fabulous and the price can not be beaten, which included delivery to our venue too. Amazing, would definitely recommend 😁

Celebrations Cakes came recommended by a friend when I wanted a special cake for my daughter's birthday and they did not disappoint. So I went back again for her next birthday. The cake decoration is beautiful, so well detailed and the work of a perfectionist. The cakes themselves have all been a great flavour and really delicious. The service was great; simple and easy communication. I'll absolutely be back next birthday.

We had a cake from Occcasion Cakes for our 30th Wedding Anniversary Vow Renewal celebration. From the first time we visited, the staff were fantastic, so helpful and full of ideas for our cake. The cake they made for us was absolutely amazing!! They even managed a couple of last minute changes that we requested. Their attention to detail was brilliant, and the actual sponge cake was beautiful too. We would not hesitate to recommend Occasion Cakes to anyone wanting a beautiful cake for their celebration 🎂

I have had quite a few biscuits and bakes from Mac Bakery over the past few months - all have been really tasty and look amazing; too good to eat! MAC Bakery is my go to for every occasion no matter what it may be! I have lost count of the amount of orders I have placed and each time they get better and better!! The most detailed biscuits and always taste amazing! Already looking for the next excuse to order a batch!
