We enjoyed Day 4 of Restaurant Week sitting at a high stool at the window. Food, wine 🍷, service by Stew were all excellent

Great place to get pasta in the city. Great location, the ambiance is very nice with brick walls, and soft lighting. Anyone with 4-6 people will likely be in a booth.
We both loved our pastas, although we left just a little bit hungry. So good portions considering we came into the restaurant famished. It took a while for the server to get our check, otherwise it was a great experience.

Had a great dinner at 107 State last night. We started off with cocktails and my espresso martini was delicious. Perfect.

Appetizer was a blistered tomato crostini with burrata and was lovely. Layered flavor, with the creaminess of burrata and nice crunch of crostini.

We shared a pasta dish with a veal ragu, and it was EVERYTHING. Nuanced flavors and the veal was very tender.

We had a second cocktail and my dirty martini was exactly as ordered.

Would definitely recommend for thoughtful Italian, to get your burger fix, or just to have a nice craft cocktail!

Recommend this place. We sat outside on a lovely summer day, the cocktails were amazing and the waiter was very personable and helpful. I only peeked inside briefly when we arrived, but it looked like a cool vibe. Great location on State St too

Great food. The cured meats are made in house, and wow, what huge portions! The cured meats were just slightly too salty, but I will take more salty and homemade over something not so fresh. Great service and will go back again!

I had a truly fabulous evening! Kelby, the bartender, was very supportive and creative. The welcoming environment inspired me to sketch a picture of the restaurant. I can't wait to return for more unforgettable moments. Thank you, Kelby, for making my night better and brighter!

Fantastic spot for dinner. I made a reservation for 1 and was sat at my table right on time. My cocktail was lovely, my pasta was perfect, and my affogato was a yummy finish. Service was spot on without being bothersome. Inviting atmosphere too. When I am back in Madison I would love to return here to try more of their menu.

Went to Madison to a couple wine shops and they recommended it here for dinner.

In Dubuque we have no good Italian spot so we were thrilled to check it out

We were 💯 satisfied with this choice. Sat at the bar and the bartender was excellent. Drinks were fantastic and good was top notch.

Highly highly recommend.

We chose to celebrate our anniversary with a first time visit to Bar Corallini. The cocktail selection was delightful. I had the risotto which looks like a work of art and my husband chose the pesto dish that was amazing. Thanks to our server Krystal and the entire staff for an anniversary well celebrated.
Food was OK, but nothing really impressive. Salad was among the worst we ever had at Olive Garden, but edible. Not one of the better Olive Gardens we have been to for food quality, but everything else was good middle of the road Olive Garden. But the food is the most important. Probably won't go back, but maybe just a bad day there.

We had the rigatoni alla bolognese, which was very good. The rigatoni was perfectly al dente and the sauce was rich and meaty. The breadcrumbs added a fun contrast of texture and the ricotta was smooth and creamy. The ricotta gnocchi was very good. The gnocchi were pillowy and the sauce was rich and creamy with the butternut squash. The whole dish was very rich, I'd recommend ordering several items and having the table share. A few bites of each dish were perfectly satisfying and executed perfectly. We ended the meal with an afacado, super good!!! The vanilla Gelato was so smooth and floral with the vanilla bean and the espresso shot was warm and fruity.
Overall and excellent place to eat! Will be back!

Really a must try. I wish I could tell you we tried more items on the menu because I suspect they are all amazing. Unfortunately my bestie and I ordered the same exact dish, however we agreed it was sinfully delicious. We started with cocktails which did not disappoint, I the Cosmo and her a Bellini. We each ordered the pork chop which was served over a bed of pillowy , al dente pappardelle with grated pecorino. If these noodles are not fresh in house I would be surprised. On top a hearty porkchop seasoned with a peppery season blend that complemented the pecorino cheese. The chops were perfectly cooked and each bite seemed to melt in your mouth. Hands down the best pork chop I’ve had. Wait staff was attentive but not intrusive. Right off the Capital and great vibe. I would go out of my way to eat here again.

Came here recently for dinner and really enjoyed our time. We started off with an order of shrimp crostinis which were a big hit for both of us. Compliments for getting the cook on the crostini and shrimp just right. I had the mushroom pappardelle that packed a ton of bold flavors, plenty of mushrooms, and lots of garlic which I especially enjoyed. My wife ordered the NY strip that came with a ton of fries. Steak was cooked exactly to order, seasoned well, and as others have noted, while the frites look like McDonald’s fries, they contain way more flavor and were another highlight among other things in our meal.

Also, bonus points to the bartender on duty (5/10/24) who was one of the friendliest bartenders we’ve ever come across. Not only did she greet us promptly and take our drink orders while we waited for our table to be ready, our drinks were phenomenal! Probably the best Manhattan I’ve had in Madison. The atmosphere was also vibrant but cozy which was a pleasant surprise. We’ll definitely be back!

What a great place! Excellent food with a wide variety of choices. The vegan beet salad was full of flavor and the perfect starter. We had a delicious muffuletta (could only eat half), gluten free pizza (rated excellent), and vegan pasta with mushrooms. Capped it off with dessert and coffee to celebrate graduation, and we were getting close to our 2-hour reservation limit. Great service and a bustling atmosphere made it a wonderful treat for our small group. With tip the bill ran to just over $50/person.

Excellent selection of pastas and other courses. Lots of starters and we selected the Farinata fries which were crispy and paired with a spiced mayonnaise type sauce. Pasta portions are fairly large and could be easily shared along with a meat course entree. Will return

Great spot for Italian food up near the Capitol building in Madison. We had the Cambogiano sandwich and the Three Piggies sandwich. They were both excellent and we will definitely be back to try more items. Service was very friendly and attentive. Note there is a parking garage to the left of the restaurant about a block down with inexpensive parking.

I was encouraged by the rating but very disappointed by the food. I ordered Mac and cheese. I didn’t think I could not like Mac and cheese. This is not for me, soupy cheese that was sickly sweet, the sausage had good flavor but the rest was unappetizing to me. Now I am hungry with no time for other food between meetings.

Dreamy! Flavor is almost beyond words. The meat in the Ragu is amazing; tender, flavorful and generous amounts. The Mac-n-Cheese is creamy with a sweet hint. $10 a dish is so reasonable! My new favorite place ❤️ staff is friendly and I love the bucks hat.

We had an excellent time for our anniversary. Food was delicious, we’ve never had a bad special there, drinks or food. Service is always spot on. It’s become one of our favorite spots.
I've had lunch a few times and loved it. They offer wraps and soups along with burgers. I had with burger today and it was delicious. Perfectly cooked and seasoned just right. I'll be back again soon.

Great service and excellent food served in a relaxed and cozy atmosphere. We asked for a full body Merlot and the waitstaff made the perfect choice. A basket of bread is served before the meal, with a flat bread that is deep fried in pork fat, very delicious. The menu itself changes regularly and always has delicious and interesting options. Delicious desserts!! We are looking forward to going on a warm summer evening when one wall opens up via a garage door mechanism.

We both work evenings so we decided to try and celebrate Valentine’s Day one day early. First off, the fact that a restaurant this good allows reservations after 9pm is amazing. This is surprisingly harder to find in Madison. When you work until 8:30 P.M getting to a restaurant before 9pm is challenging and feels rushed. So our 9:15 time was perfect. Our entire experience was incredible. Wonderful service, amazing food, and

One the best spots to go in Madison if you’re looking for authentic Italian food! Every week they feature unique new items, some I have never heard of or tried until coming here. They really give you a great experience, staff is so nice and super knowledgeable about the menu. If you come here you have to try any of their pastas because they are all so good, and save room for their Budino!!

I like this downtown restaurant. On State St, about a block from the Capitol Square. I loved the dark atmosphere. Cool jazz music playing. Besides not being very loud in there, the booths help make it easy to have a conversation. The rough brick wall also helps to break up any noise.
Our server was very friendly and the timing of her check-ins was good.
First off, I liked the bread. Besides being complementary, each piece was crunchy on one side and warm & buttery on the other. The roasted mushroom crostini was a great way to start the meals. It was crunchy chewy, with the expected sweetness from the cheese and glaze.
My salmon crunchy outside and soft moist inside. The garlic lemon sauce was a great added flavor. The shrimp scampi also tasted great, although a bit too heavy on the garlic. The Bliss Burger was a tasty burger dripping with juicy goodness. The accompanying fries tasted just McDonald's fries, but a little less salty. The meat in the Ziti with Ragu was a nice combo of hearty meat with soft tender tasty ziti.
The waitress passed by with plates of desserts that looked real good, but we were just too full. ....Next time.
Overall, I really liked this upscale city tavern.

Very nice ambience in a restaurant near the square. Food is always good, although, last night, my husband and I agreed the seared scallops were too salty, and I am so to who does not go light on the salt when I cook. The service is always great! Timing between appetizers and entrees is appreciated, not too rushed or too long. The brussel sprouts is our favorite appetizer; the sauce drizzled on top is delicious!

Love the vibe and the tasting menu there. My colleague and I were arranged to sit at the bar table. Staff were super friendly and I fell in love with all these local restaurants in Madison. This Italian one was one of my favourites in the town. I will visit them again when I travel to Madison next time.
The tasting menu was absolutely amazing! The appetizer - I tasted the ocean favour from black mussels and clams! The main - pan fried sea trout - cooked with perfection. Crispy skin + pinky colour + soft and juicy!
Dessert - the butterscotch pudding was sensational! It was creamy, smooth and the best to finish the meal.

Good drinks and appetizers!

It can be difficult to get a table when the overture center has a show.

Update: we went back for food, and it was very impressive. Everything was delicious.

I do wish there was complementary bread instead of having to buy it all a la carte. the rustic ciabatta is amazing. I feel like paying four dollars on top of an already expensive meal is a little much. Maybe it should be complementary with entrées?

I do feel like a little more seasoning would have been helpful although the food was delicious as it was.

I don’t care what anyone says… the fudge brownie dessert is the best dessert on the menu.

This was by far the worst Sbarro I’ve ever been to in the nation. The “XL New York Slice” was neither “XL” nor a “New York slice”. The slice was also bland. Where are the spices? The crust was also doughy and extremely long at the edges, in some places 2 1/2 inches wide from the edges, but it varied between 1” and 2 1/2”. The heat was not sufficient where the pizza is kept, causing the cold cheese to become rubbery. Even after putting the slice in an oven to heat, it wasn’t hot.

Best food cart on the square. Even their tomatoes taste good in the dead of winter. Small selection but what they do they do so well. Generally very quick. Focaccia ISD bouncy and chewy and moist. Absolute perfection. I hope these two get a sit down soon!
10 year anniversary, & went to Oliva for the first time to celebrate. It was sooooo good! My only complaint is how difficult it was to choose from the menu (everything sounded amazing!). We ordered the tomato caprese & cigar bosek, & both were phenomenal. My main course was the lamb delight, & it was definitely a delight, & unlike anything I've ever had before. So very good. My husband got the gyro which he really enjoyed (next time he'll add tomatoes & extra onion). I ordered a glass of moscato, my husband a soda. We would have loved more after finishing them, but the server got pretty busy at the end. Will definitely go back again!
It was our first time at the new location on the square and we enjoyed it. Great vibe. Great service. Excellent food. Very good lunch specials (price and portions). I definitely recommend this restaurant.

I popped into this place for a quick lunch before a matinee at the Overture on Saturday, and this place is right across the street. Immediate seating at the bar, it looked like a wait time for a table. The bartenders were exceptional! I ordered the fried chicken sandwich thinking it would be easy and fast, since I only had an hour. (Note: I opted for no side.) While waiting, I enjoyed the Italians ‘87 cocktail, that was absolutely wonderful! The sage! The description of the sandwich has several components that one might think are unique and even odd… the temptation to leave off or have ingredients placed on the side is tempting. Knowing chefs create interesting flavor combos, I always opt to have it made as is. WOW! Let me say this was probably the best fried chicken sandwich I have ever had! I am only disappointed that I had to hurry through it! I would definitely recommend this restaurant.. great experience on every level!
That was my first time at Tutto Pasta. Overall, I liked the food, service, and atmosphere. I tried their pasta and tiramisu, and I liked both. The service was good and friendly. The only thing that I didn't like was the size of the restaurant. The restaurant is kind of small and the tables are very close to each other.

While visiting from out of town, I decided to take my wife here for her birthday. Man! This was some of the most delicious, tastiest, visually pleasant food I've had in Madison. The salmon alone is now in my top 3 all-time. The lamb chops were grilled tender to perfection. But the highlight of the night was the mushroom crostini appetizer. We have never tasted a mushroom dish with such unbelievable blends of flavor at any restaurant in life! Take a look at my photos, and you be the judge.

At Cento's in Madison, WI, my aunt and I had a memorable dining experience. We began with the delectable dates as an appetizer, a sweet and savory delight. My choice, the mushroom pizza, was a flavorful masterpiece, with a perfect balance of ingredients, though my photos couldn't capture its deliciousness. My aunt thoroughly enjoyed the salmon, a testament to the restaurant's versatility in satisfying different palates. Cento's is a culinary gem in Madison, offering a diverse menu and warm ambiance that's perfect for sharing memorable meals.
The restaurant smells bad when you walk in (a mix between mildew and bathroom smell), the food sucks, the bathrooms are gross (hot water didn’t even work). The chicken was rubbery. The only thing good about the place was that the waitress was nice and the food came out in less than 5 minutes (not sure if that’s actually a good thing, though…). The whole time I was there I was regretting it - the reason we went here was because other restaurants had long wait times and we were hungry. Avoid this place if you can. Genuinely don’t know how it is still in business.

My daughter's favorite is the spaghetti. She loves it. So, my treat on occasions. The portion is generous and staff ways courteous. Thank you for staying my daughter's top fav.
Edited on June 18th. I went to this location recently and it was not good. There was a wait but the restaurant was half full. I decided to wait at the bar and the bartender ignored me for a better part of 10 minutes and then was rude that they had to serve me at all. This is very different than the review i left below over a year ago. *smh

This olive garden is consistent. They serve you immediately. Always clean. The servers are always friendly. Fresh salad and great soups.

My husband and I went for a romantic dinner celebrating our 18th wedding anniversary. As out-of-towners we knew nothing about this restraunt and picked it based only on the Google reviews and word of mouth in Madison.
We could not have had a better experience. Our server Austin was courteous, attentive, knowledgeable, and passionate about the food. We ordered the formaggio board, cocktails, an entrée each, and were given free dessert! Everything was AMAZING and the bill was reasonable for a fine dining experience. We will definitely return.

I want to love this place but their hot pasta dishes are always a little too sweet! Both the mac and ragù have sweet flavors that I don't enjoy and don't understand. I wish they would spice it up and offer different rotating menu items once in a while so I could get something else here and there. The guys in the truck are always nice and I want to support them more.
Great place for some affordable Italian cuisine. Their soups and salads are always phenomenal. You truly can't go wrong on the menu, the seafood alfredo is a favorite of mine. Service is great and I love the gadget at the end of the table that allows you to pay without waiting for the check.
I came here on the recommendation of a friend. When I first arrived, I noted that the place was not particularly clean. There were bread crumbs and bread fragments on the floor near the wall. The scent of the restaurant was like a wet rug left to rot for several days, which is why I couldn't complete my appetisers and asked for the rest of the order to be packed to go. The waiter assigned to me didn't get my orders right, which I didn't find out about until I got home to eat, and when I tried calling another waitress for something, she entirely ignored me. The food has no taste. The alfredo was basically boiled fettuccine and cheese with no seasoning. I asked for a regular veggies pizza and got a plain kid-size cheese one. overall, I wouldn't recommend it, nor would I come here again.

I was told they had no "buy 2 pizza" deal but when I went online at home later, it showed they did have it. I was overcharged.
Great pasta - as the name suggests. Not just that, the pizza was also pretty good (8/10) and I had the Ravioli which was really good (9/10).
I like coming here for the salad and breadsticks, but who doesn't, right? A nice evening to take my wife and daughters out to dinner. It was 80 degrees yesterday, and it was snowing today as we were eating our dinner. It's one of the fruits of Wisconsin, the extreme weather changes. But that's what Olive garden breadsticks are for, with endless marinara sauce for a low additional price. And toasted ravioli. And Italian sausage. And make your own pasta meals, like rigatoni, linguini, spaghetti, and/or angel hair. Let's not forget a whole carafe of ☕ coffee with endless refills. Finally, I don't know if we just got lucky, or what...but our server was the best. Not only was she a pro at her job in terms of etiquette...she gave us a salad and soup to bring home. Great waitress, seemed like a genuinely kind person.
Best calamari I have ever had! Great prices for delicious food cooked perfectly! We got the fried calamari and baba ganush appetizers with cannelloni and lamb shish kebab and homemade baklava for dessert. Can't wait to return here!
An absolutely quaint place tucked right off the Beltline. Decided to try something different and ran right into this place. It’s like walking into your grandmother’s dining room. Cozy, quiet, and welcoming. Only ordered take out, but definitely coming back to enjoy the dining room experience. Food was amazing, and prices were very reasonable.
This was by far one of the dirtiest bathrooms I have encountered at a restaurant. I can only hope that the kitchen which is located right next to the men’s bathroom was better kept up. (The picture of the hallway has the kitchen off to the right and the men’s bathroom ahead and to the right.) When we walked in there was a smell of sewage, although not strong enough to immediately turn around and leave. When I was using the bathroom two employees kept pushing each other in and out of the bathroom door. This is not the professionalism that I expect in the hospitality industry. I did call after we had left to let management know about the issues to correct them, and everyone was polite and the food was decent. However, if you cannot keep a clean restaurant any business that you bring in will be short lived. I hope that you use this as an opportunity to elevate the level of service your business provides and invest in general cleanliness throughout. The other point that I’ll make is that when someone takes the time to provide feedback as an owner your responsibility is to action the feedback, not attack the people who take the time to provide feedback to help you and your business succeed. I hope that in the future your business will do much better.
Definitely get the Turkish tea. Imagine fresh baked cloud-like bread that crackles as you rip pieces off, a lentil soup that shines like velvet and tastes light and refreshing, and hummus that is so good I can’t even describe it in words. Throw in a charming waiter and you’ve imagined HALF the joy I felt while eating here. I truly had one of the BEST meals of my life here.

Convenient location at the food court. Lot of choice in New York style pizza. Hawaiian, sausage, cheese, vegetarian pizza are very fresh and tasty. Sides are great such as Mac and cheese and salads. Stromboli is very good. Fast service.
Absolutely delicious! It was our first time there and it definitely exceeded any expectations we walked in. Delicious food, enjoyable ambiance and great customer service!
Liked the food, especially the Lamb Shish Kebab. The lamb was very tender and perfectly grilled. The atmosphere felt very homey, especially with the other guests that dined in. Service was 'ok' given the limited number of staff and we went during peak hours. One of the complaints/comments from me would be the table cover that is just in very bad shape, for lack of a better word (and not just our table). The cracking plastic cover isn't the most charming thing to look at when you're eating or picking up your napkin. If you're a clean/hygiene freak, your OCD would kick in, which takes away from the good food and cute setting.
Dinner with Mom for lasagna, salad, tiramisu and more. I enjoyed the meal, but was a little disappointed with a few menu changes that removed a few of my favorites. I tried steak with fettuccine, but I like some of the old tour platters. Pumpkin cheesecake was very good. Service always seems good and attentive.

One of the best pasta meals I've had in town and from a food truck. This chef puts to shame the brick and mortars that charge $15-$20 a plate. My pasta dish was $9 with the best focaccia I've had in Madison for a buck fifty more. $10.50 for one of the better meals I've had in my life and I had worked in fine dining for 15+ years of my life.
I use to come here many years ago and always enjoyed the food. I recently returned and it was just as good as I remembered. The lamb shish kabob medium rare was buttery smooth, best kabob around. The sampler was amazing, I would highly recommend. The Turkish wines are all great, can’t go wrong. Great service and environment, perfect date spot!

For four years now I have bee searching for the best pasta place is Madison. I can unequivocally say, this is it. Excellent price points and very friendly chef. Really good breads as well. Keep up the good work!
Very unusual to see middle eastern and Italian food to be at the same restaurant, but I guess it works in this case with more options to choose from. We got hummus and cheese bread as appetizers, both were delicious. We got the stuffed eggplant dish ( Immam fainted) and a calzone for the entree, the eggplant dish had a lot of flavor but felt they over cooked the eggplant which took away from the textural aspect of the dish. The calzone was not done inside on the first go however when we brought it to attention they reheated it in the oven and it was better. The service was great and the restaurant had people coming in even before closing which is always a good sign. Over all we enjoyed the food here and would definitely be coming back to try out other dishes.

Food hiting new low, Imitation Scallops was completely unnecessary, don't serve fake food if u can't afford real food.

Very good food and service, ample portions, and appropriate prices. Bar area with a couple of TVs and a few booths. Main dining area has 2 levels, has cozy feel. Located in an old building with an old building’s charm.
The only negatives: no parking lot (located on State St., so there are parking garages in the area), dining area gets pretty cold if you sit near windows when it’s cold outside, and the men’s bathroom looked and smelled a little dirty.
Overall, a good experience. I’ve been there several times and will likely do so again.
Prices have gone up but the food and service was still great. Rose, our server, did a great job and was very attentive. Extra breadsticks came out hot and delicious. Refills on soup and salad were also appreciated. The fettuccine alfredo
was exceptional and we loved the zuppa toscana soup.

Our favorite was the 6 ounce sirloin that comes with a good potion size of fettuccine alfredo. It was done a perfect medium rare (see picture) and was seasoned very well.

We were celebrating a birthday and had the black tie mousse cake which was exceptional.

We will be back!

I love their quality of pizza but the I’ve had a few problems with their costumer service they have taken a while to make just one pizza (at the West Towne Mall in Madison) even though I’ve gotten free pizza because of the problem, I still had to wait and I had to run arrands. Overall, their food is great.

My wife ordered a meal. She was told it would be ready in 10 minutes. 10 minutes later she was again told it would be ready in 10 minutes. She didn’t see any progress being made.

She asked for her money back. The person at the counter said he couldn’t refund her money without his manager. He made no attempt to contact the manager.

My wife eventually went elsewhere. Sbarros’ never refunded her money or gave her any food.

This is, without question, the best pasta in Madison. A focused core menu that will never get old is supplemented by weekly specials anyway. I wish it was available for more than just a weekday lunch because this really is an essential Madison eatery.
