First time ordering; everything was AMAZING! We ordered a gyro wrap & large souvlaki dinner. Definitely will be picking up dinner from here again!
I got the large chicken souvlaki dinner and it was delicious. The salad was fresh. The chicken was tender. The rice and potatoes were delicious. It’s more of a takeout place than a restaurant, however, there are chairs and tables if you do want to stay there to eat. It’s a very down-to-earth spot and the food feels homemade which was so nice. The people working here were so friendly. I will definitely be going back.
Loved my portobello pasta. Italian salad and the soup were good. Pizza was good, the thin crust was delicious but the toppings could be a bit larger chunks. The dessert was amazing, it has definitely improved a lot since we last had dessert here.
The service was excellent. They were very attentive and let us modify the pizza combo toppings. The seats are fine but the cushions could be thicker. The decor is nice, but the pizza oven does create a smoke smell in the air.

Great quality food and very good customer service. They use two types of potatoes which is really nice.
Definitely would come back! The food was amazing and the service was even better. Our server, Helena, was incredibly friendly and she ensured that we had a great time by consistently checking up on us; she was really great! I'm glad that my husband and I took a chance to try this restaurant because we had a wonderful dinner.
A very nice experience overall, very good food, nice atmosphere and excellent service. We had shrimp al pesto and a small pizza with pepperoni , mushrooms, red peppers and and anchovies. The pasta was perfect, sauce included pine nuts, tiger shrimp were perfectly cooked and plentiful. Pizza crust was quite good, sauce a nice balance between sweet and savory. Toppings were delicious. As for dessert...the tiramisu is outstanding. We'll certainly be back!
I ordered a shrimp and scallop pasta. Sauce, shrimp and size were pretty good, however scallop was slightly not fresh. Excellent service. Great creme brulee. Clean environment. Not noisy.
Had a casual lunch at this Italian place. The room is a bit cold, but the food is okay. The size of each dish is big enough and the waiter is enthusiastic and friendly. We ordered two entry level Italian dishes: spaghetti & meatballs and beef lasagna. They are handled well and we feel satisfied. The highlight is how they handled escargot, which is very delicious with sliced bread. May come back again.

This store always reduces the portion to kids size when you order by delivery service. Not sure why they do this when item prices are already marked up and we pay additional fees on top of that. Very unacceptable practice!

Just wanted to express my love for this place only because of the people working here and also the food . The customer service I get from them is outstanding. Specially Garry , who manages to understand my language fully , and prepares the food fast and delicious. My husband loves this place and he was amazed with the customer service he got from Garry everytime.

Sorento is an Italian restaurant, we decided to try it out after having a craving for pasta. Our cravings were definitely filled. To start we ordered these garlic bread with cheese ($8), it came with four pieces. The bread was fresh and it was satisfyingly cheesy. We also ordered the pesto chicken pizza ($20) which was really good. Everything you'd want in a wood fired pizza was met. We then got the sausage and bacon pasta ($23) and the philly cream steak pasta ($23). The pastas were nice and creamy and everything was seasoned well. Makes it hard to stop eating once you've begun, even if you're full!

I have visited Cafe Landwer multiple times and it has always been amazing.

Food is good and they are busy during brunch on Saturday. Got the smokey brisket omelette and a Cobb salad. I liked the omelette more.
One thing that I should mention is the parking. There is an underground parking and it's $6 flat for the weekend. But what needs to be mentioned is that you can get it for free if you dine here. However, you only know that once you are inside the restaurant. There is a parking ticket machine in the restaurant with instructions on how you pay for parking for free. The problem is, people normally park their car and then pay for parking before leaving; not at the store. And there is no notice that mentioned you can get it free if you are visiting the store(s). So a lot of people probably ended up paying without needing to. They need to find a way to improve on how to let their customers know about parking.

The decor is very fun and cute. The light situation, though, is frustrating. When the fans are on, the lights flicker, making it very distracting and difficult to read the menu.

The berries from the French toast were very strong, almost an overwhelming taste. Regardless, I really like the fluffiness of the bread itself. It wasn’t a big standout. I wish there was more fresh fruit.

I have been a customer here for a decade. The Chicken shawarma on the rocks/rice, is horrible. It used to be my favorite dish. However, its disgusting now. They get the chicken from a metal bin, which is SUPER oily, and has a ton of fat and skin, so most bites have a rubber feel. I cant trust what they put in these bins so i avoid foods that come from these bins.
If youre the owner, stop putting skin and fat in these. it makes you look bad and cheap. go back to the less oily meat with less fat and NO SKIN. I feel cheated

Amazing service! Great food. One of the best greek places we’ve been to (been to lots and have been in greece). Won’t regret!
I ordered through DoorDash. Spanakopita/Triangles with Spinach and Double Cheese was good. Cold, when it was supposed to be hot, but it was tasty. The Chicken Shwarma wrap was repulsive. I couldn't even chew or swallow the first bite. Tore it off the wrap like a caveman, and then gagged because despite how much I was chewing, it wouldn't break down. It was tough, dry chicken with stale seasoning, inedible bread, and gross garlic sauce. I threw basically the whole thing out. Never again.
Food is tasty and fresh always! Top this with the friendly and helpful service from the owners and you got yourself a customer for life! Not too many places nowadays that serve great food and good serving sizes so this is a gem of a restaurant 😊

We booked online for New Year's Eve around 6:30. The restaurant is divided in 2 sides. The host at the door was very friendly. He seated us at a booth and gave us our menus. They had a New Year's Eve menu along with the regular menu. We ordered the turkey dinner for $30 and the lobster tail and shrimp for $35. I've seen lobster dinners go for more money than that.
The server was friendly and the service was fine. We order the carrot, Carmel cheesecake $7.50 and lemon pucker cake $7.50. Both desserts were delicious. The restaurant did feel chilly whenever the door opened. You could feel the draft and we sat 5 booths from the door. And the place needs more decor. It didn't feel Italian. But the food and service made up for it. I can tell they have a lot of regulars.

I got a cesar salad and it cost 13.51 after tax. The portion was decent, it comes with cheese, croutons and lettuce and thats it. It is 7$ extra if you want chicken. It’s not the end if the world but Im just disappointed cause there was barely enough dressing for my salad and then they charged me for more. The amount of dressing they have was so small… i don’t need it drenched in dressing but we couldn’t even taste that i had put dressing on it after mixing it in. If there’s not enough dressing in the first place i shouldn't have to pay again for more- it just ruined my vibe😂

We ordered 2 large Shawarma & paid ~50$. Out of 5/6 things that you can put in your sandwich, I only wanted Humus & pickles. There was NO other customers, I asked for extra Humus & pickles though…after 20 mins that we got our food, the chicken inside my wrap was cold as if it was cooked last week or so & not warmed properly. There was barely any Humus or pickles inside the sandwich so it was hard to swallow the dry cold chicken cubes down! I asked for more pickles and the guy lectured me for 5 mins that he cannot give me more pickles! See the attached pic, it was so frustrating as I didn’t even order half of the things I could order and this guy is so dumb that he is arguing about an extra pickle! I never go there again, waste of money! If I wasn’t starving, I couldn’t eat that $&|t, so gross , the dry cold chicken was the worst!

Yesterday was first time using York Mills Location. What a disappointment. It was embarrassing to serve food of such a low quality to my family members. Meat was dry and overcooked ( both chicken and beef ) . Rice was dry and didn’t seem fresh. Do not recommend.

Fresh and tasty food, service was quick although it was lunch time and usually busy.
My family visited the place on my birthday and we had a great time here. The atmosphere and the interior of the restaurant are fabulous. The food we ordered were so big in portions and tasted amazing.
The gentleman who was our server was very welcoming, attentive and polite. I can't recall his name but I think it was Emir. Overall, this is a place where I can take my friends and family to have quality time and great food with confidence.

This is my first time trying Turkish food. They simply look appealing and taste great. The grills are fantastic. I cannot stop thinking the reason why we like grilled food is because our ancestors million years ago also hunted and grilled meat as the very first meal of human kind. And eating here can really bring out the same emotion of having satisfied by a smoky, delicious meal etched deep in our DNA, from the moment when we had the tiniest bit of consciousness to feel such happiness. I also like the place because the server, Ridvan, was a super nice and passionate guy, our requests were promptly fulfilled with satisfaction. Will definitely visit again!

The food is always great here, nice presentation and giant portions. Mushroom pide is my favorite now! And I’ve never seen or tired pistachio adana, so that was new and very delicious too. Betul, our server, was the sweetest and she was very nice and very friendly. She also gave us extra bread and checked up on us frequently. I think they don’t offer free tea refills ( cause that’s what they said last time) and menu is not as wide, but you will find for sure what you want 😊😋

I really enjoyed their Mezza Platter, the Mediterranean Shakshuka. The platter quantity is sufficient for 2 people. The flavors of the 5 dips will pull your taste buds in different directions and they're best enjoyed with the pita breads. I'd suggest going at lunchtime to not feel stuffed. Great place to eat, nice vibe, and courteous staff.
First visit and we were all impressed by the food. Excellent presentation and cooked deliciously. The Turkish coffee was the highlight of the night. It served with the unique and gorgeous cups, the Turkish Delight served with the coffee balanced out the bitterness of the coffee.

Great place for authentic Turkish food, love the atmosphere and space, we ordered quite a few different dishes and they all were delicious. The quantities were huge and 4 of us shared 2 main course and 3 appetizers and we were done. They offer a complimentary Turkish tea after the meal which is a great gesture. Would love to visit again and again.
Overall, this is amazing place for families and friends to get together to share meals that are authentic and well-made. I would recommend coming here in groups or with family and friends due to the size of the portions and cost. another great thing about this place is a decorum and also the staff is very friendly and the food also was served very fast and did not seem rush at all. Our waitress Gizem was also amazing, she made the experience better.

When the order came, we could not even start eating right away because they did not give any utensils, so we had to find our own utensils to use. We also were not given any napkins either.
The portion was extremely small (I am not a big eater, and I ate the whole plate and was still hungry) and the chicken was tough/overcooked. We thought that some bread would be included for the hummus dip but we were wrong, bread was not included.
This place is completely overpriced and stingey with the food and utensils and napkins, would not recommend.

Food, service and atmosphere were all excellent. We ordered their grill platter for two, it was delicious and so fresh. You get a lot of food for the price, it can honestly feed 4 people.

I’ve been here multiple times and the food has been exquisite every time. Highly recommend the mix grill platter so you can try a variety of items. The meats are tender and flavourful. You also receive a complimentary cup of fragrant Turkish tea at the end of the meal. The place is always busy with a steady flow of customers coming in, but staff handle it well. Even when there was a large party coming in our server, Sumeyye, brought us our items in good time.

We love the food presentation and taste. Very good portions and size. We ate mix appetizers and mix grill for 2. We loved the yogurt dipping sauce, cabbage salad and the meat with rice. We are thankful for Ead’s caring service. We definitely recommend this restaurant.

Nick the owner was friendly and nice. We got the chicken souvlaki entree and the fried calamari. The rice was flavourful and the chicken was tender and juicy. Upstairs bar had a cozy vibe with nice decor. Come if you want some good authentic Greek food!

Yes. It was a really good experience eating here. The shawarma sandwich was excellent. The staff are efficient too. I was able to see them diffuse a situation with an unpleasant customer and make them feel satisfied. Good value (especially their daily specials), however it would be nice if there was a bigger size Laffa option. They have small patio seating as well. Definitely be back.
This is my first time to try the Turkish food. It’s very delicious, Especially the Turkish pizza. The restaurant owner is very nice and gifted us desserts. What’s a surprise that they are using a robot to deliver the food. It’s the future. Definitely I will come back.
Had a great experience. The staff is very friendly and fast to serve. I had adana kebab. If you like your kebab a bit spicy, perfect for you, just the right amount of spiciness. Portion is big enough for one person
Amazing food, very tasty, owner has an amazing attitude, very friendly and with great manners, place is clean and food was superb, totally recommended! The plates are a great portion for a fair price, beef gyro, chicken shawarma and chicken souvlaki are the top 3 best dishes of the house. I had a great experience.
Our server was lovely and had a wonderful energy. The place was cozy. The hummus was delicious but the calamari was nothing special. I had the lamb shank special which came with delicious lemon orzo soup and I had vegetables (nothing special) and lemon roasted potatoes (which were undercooked). I'd recommend for atmosphere and service.
Very bad experience. I have ordered through Skip the dishes, 2 Chicken Schnitzels, advertised as big. 2-3 people can eat from one. Are you for real, Me Va Me, on York Mills?
Delivery person brought 2 little portions, dry and with sesame seeds, no more no less, on both of them, though the picture wasn't showing these.
Meat was like 1 mm and both myself and daughter refused to eat it. Disgusting, had to take antihistamines for sesame allergy. Daughter doesn't have sesame allergy, but she started scratching her neck.
Guess, on top of everything, meat was fried in same oil, that seafood must have been cooked previously.
I called Skip the dishes and got the whole credit back.
I am posting a picture of their advertised Chicken Schnitzel, each for almost $4.00 and what I actually got, so you can see for yourselves the comparison. I would not give this meat even to my dog, it is so, so bad.

I often think eating out means having something unhealthy; meals generally contain more salt and more fat. That’s until we ordered in from Karbouzi and found their chicken souvlaki dinner ($26) tasted homemade. This isn’t a disparaging comment towards the chef, the entire meal was clean tasting leaving me satisfied but not sinfully so.
The chicken was covered with a delicate char and remained tender thanks to the pepper slices in between that seem to baste the bird with juices. There wasn’t an outrageous portion of sides, the protein simply accompanied with lemony roast potatoes and fluffy rice that were both low on salt, but the cool tzatziki and chicken juices really helped.

We ordered on UberEats. Food tasted good. Portions are smaller than expected. Honestly, when it arrived it looked underwhelming (especially for price; i recognize presentation isnt a thing with delivered food, but relative to other deliveries its dissapointing). Again it actually tasted quite good. Overall: pricey for delivered Greek food so we won't do that again, but we aren't aversed to trying it again as a dine-in experience.
4 years ago I had this place at 4 stars. But today I'm hard pressed to give it 3. The service, prices, portion sizes and restaurant cleanliness have all gone downhill. 😞 disappointed
I loved the place and the food, happy atmosphere, good service, great souvlaki and fried calamari ( not over cooked). Going back.
