I don’t like the new chicken wing menu. Stick to what you were doing better. Changing the chicken wing menu. I love supporting small business but at the same time, I expect good food. Don’t serve people things you wouldn’t eat. Return the old version of how you were making the fried chicken wings.

To the owner, what other way did you want me to address this, while I was at the restaurant, I called guy who served me this and I told him. He nodded and left. So maybe instead of getting salty, you need to take time and teach your employees of proper customer service and how to deal with such kinda of situation.
I had no issue with the previous way of how you were cooking the wings, chicken was always cooked well and appealing to the eyes and the taste was amazing. But this new recipe, it’s not good. It’s not pleasant to the eyes nor the taste.
In addition to changing the recipe, you could have change the picture too so that you don’t sell false advertisement ( quite honestly I was really taken aback by what I was served. I know you’re upset, but with this kinda business, you need to have thick skin and accept criticism and work on doing it better next time. I wish you nothing but the best and yesterday won’t stop me coming.
I had to write a review for you to be aware of what is being served since you’re not there to see. It’s not like when you first opened, asking customers how their meal was and all that, why did that have to change? Why when a customer raise concern to the employee, nothing was done.
the problem with majority of small businesses, they start well, selling a very big standard which we consumers like, then change and not keep up. It should always be white glove service, no matter what. That should be your motto.
We only get asked by Abdullahi himself if he will be at the restaurant how was the meal and so on. You will still see him interacting with customers genuinely because he seems to be the only one who understands how to deal with customer and provide a proper warm welcome and service. It shouldn’t be this way, All employees should be trained the same way wether he’s present or not, because service is on every day you open your doors to us, not only when the owner himself is available. Learn to take criticism, am not here to tarnish your reputation.

First time tried out Somali food, and was pleasantly surprised. Quality of food was 5/5. Reason I took out one star was because the quantity was less for the high price of the food. Definitely will go again, and recommend others as well. Also, the place didn't have loud music like other places so we could actually have conversations like humans lol.

Fantastic food! I had a chicken shawarma plate where I was able to pick condiments and the type of rice and salad to go with it. The chicken was very flavourful and grilled to perfection. During winter months they're running a promotion 2-6pm where with any plate you get a cup of probably the best lentil soup you've ever tried. Parking is busy, but you'll probably score a spot.

Ordered the chicken shawarma plate. The chicken, rice and potatoes were delicious and flavourful. Salad was undressed but I didn’t mind having fresh veggies on the side. The server also gave me a sample of their soup which was a pleasant surprise!

Had the absolute best lamb mandi in Canada. Both mutton and rice was flavourful.
Shawarma wrap was also superb. Mind-blown with the hospitality and service and really enjoyed the orange custard desert.

Some of the worst shawarma ive ever had. Very loosely wrapped and drenched with sauce. As a result, everything falls out as you are eating it and it ends up producing this mess.

The new decor is so pretty, I'm in love!. What makes this place special is that their food is always great every time I visit I'm never disappointed. The staff are always helpful and the place is spotless. Keep it up, guys.

Please be aware and do not order from this place ever. Food is garbage, they don't take the right orders and when you ask for a refund they simply don't care. Horrible customer service. Never ever again. What a waist of money. Food is cold and dry, no sauce since I asked for it. Fries were from yesterday or something. I wish I could speak with a manager.

It's a ma and pa shop and Everytime I go in I usually deal with the husband and he is extremely friendly and helpful but the hours are not so great because when i want to go and im off work i can't because its closed. If they hired more staff and stayed open more they'd get more of my business for sure. Because they r missing out 100%. The food is amazing especially if u want some quick and easy but want a healthy choice. The price is a little steep for sure and the specials don't really catch ur eye but that would really be it

Our friends recommended this spot and it is a hidden gem. The menu is varied with lots of options, but even staples and Canadian spin-off dishes were all tasty and great value. I don't have somali food often and it is reminiscent of middle eastern flavours. I had the kebab plate and shared samosas with my wife. We enjoyed the meal, I do miss garlic sauce which is not synonymous to Somali dishes but the side sauce that came with it was a great addition to the dishes we had. Will come back for more if I am ever in the area again. It is probably a hidden gem as the rexdale area has very little options.

Do you want something healthy and delicious? The falafel wrap is definitely the good one. Today I was very hungry but eager to follow the diet and I was treated kindly and I got what I wanted, very tasty and healthy. The vegetables are fresh and varied. Thank you !!

My mom and I popped in here after we had checked into our hotel. We were greeted with a friendly hello and actually found at they were closed! However they were so sweet and allowed us to order a delicious Falafel bowl for dinner! It was so fresh and flavourful! Highly recommend! ⭐️

Recently we went to this lazeez shawarma and the food was appetizingly delicious and the customer service was very genuine and admirable. We asked about one of the drinks which is on menu board (Barbican) and the team was so active that one of their team member specifically (Rashu) helped us in selecting the right flavour and we loved the drink. Food and service is appreciated.

Ordered BYO Shawarma and it was absolutely delicious MashaAllah. Uncle at the store was veey nice and welcoming, Delicious food and I added so many toppings light on pocket too! Definitely recommend and will be coming back.

I ordered the falafel and hummus platter. Flavours were excellent. Portion size was great. Good value for what you pay. Lots of vegetarian options on the menu. Atmosphere presents as clean and inviting. A place you would want to sit and stay for awhile. I would not hesitate to return to this restaurant - it’s well worth the visit.

We had visited the Yonge St. location on our honeymoon week and really loved it.
This location was convenient for us so we wanted to give it a try.
Plenty of seating, large tables and comfortable chairs. Great, fast service and really delicious food. We had a mixed grill and labneh plate and everything was fantastic.

The shawarma here is very tasty! I recommend everyone try it...not to mention the owner is very welcoming and dedicated. So glad to have found this gem in Etobicoke.

The is a very good Middle Eastern restaurant that is well decorated and has a decent atmosphere. The food is delicious, but inconsistent - some things were fantastic (the bread, hummus, foul, saj shawerma) while others were less of a hit (the Zaatar manakeesh as an example). The servers were attentive and helpful. There's a small indoor play structure for the kids, it's a nice touch for families.

We came for breakfast right at 11 am when they opened. We were greeted and told we could sit anywhere we liked. The employees were courteous and helpful. We were 2 families 5 people each; 6 kids and 4 adults. We placed our order within 15 mins, the food started to come out. It was presented nicely and was good. While the level of lemon in some dishes was high in my opinion some on the table enjoyed it. Overall we had a good time.

Requested and paid for extra garlic sauce on the side which was missing.
Drink order was wrong + asked for fries well done and they were inedible and tasted like they were old/reheated by microwave and not well done at all.
Super disappointing.

Hands down the best saj wrap, shawarma in the city. Huge saj wrap portion that can easily feed two people. The garlic sauce is heaven. Presentation is on point. Great value for the price. The nicest owner. I just wish the tables were a little less sticky.

Very good place, with fresh meat, and vegetables. A wide variety of options are available, and portions are generous. The menu presentation is clear for new customers, and prices are reasonable. The place looks very clean and organized.

I had a chicken bowl with lots of salad - I enjoyed it. My only suggestion would be to to use a bit better utensils, a disposable fork is too small, uncomfortable to use and I didnt find a knife. Otherwise everything was great. I would definitely come back.

There's not much food places in the area its located so its convenient if you live or work in the area. The food was good, could be better. Service was awesome. Very friendly. Hummus was A+!!! Not easy to park and it was a little pricey but I would go back again

This is the worst place in town for food, customer service and atmosphere. Very bad food on top of that very bad customer service. People working there are extremely rude. They don’t care about how much you pay and how to provide basic customer service. If you care about your health please don’t go to this place. There are much better places for food. Please save your health and stay away from this place. Customer service provided by Amin and the other person was very bad. Please try to avoid this place. If we can get a video footage of what exactly happened in the restaurant in terms of customer service that would be really helpful for others to know.

There was an incident today and one of the customer had made a wrong review about the food and the customer service of the restraunt. Actually she was rude to the workers. She and her husband didn't even finished the food and cannot say that food was not good. This is totally manipulative thing about the restraunt and the customer service. The workers are not the servants they should not be treated with the disrespect as they were so gerous to them.
She abused even after the girl accepted the guilty for no reason which is totally unacceptable. I would say that you must visit the place to know the actual reality of that place and customer service. I promise that you will receive the best service and delicious food ever in the area.

Their portion sizes are so large! I took a small bowl and it was almost too much for me.

Ordered the chicken shawarma salad (half-size). The sauces were really nice (garlic, hot, hummus) and the portion was filling enough.

The star of the show is the chicken. It is cooked so well, has a nice caramelized-bark of crispy goodness. And the chicken is also tender and moist. Definitely will try to go back here in the future, and would recommend it for others.

One of the smallest shawarma wraps ive ever gotten. A bit over priced. Dont expect your normal shawarma wrap. The few pieces of lettuce and slice of tomato were fresh.

I've been to many different locations, and by far this is my favourite one. The restaurant is always clean and the food quality is by far the best! Everything is made fresh and you get a good portion of food for the cost. The last few times I've visited, both Khushal and Rashesh have been very professional and accommodating to my salad requests. They ensure that my food is made to my satisfaction. I highly recommend this location if you are in the mood for shawarma.

Delicious middle eastern cuisine having a good number of vegetarian options makes it a wonderful place to change your mood via taste buds. Hummus is evergreen option here and falafel tastes very good. All other veggie options were also equally good in taste and flavours. It’s never late to visit this place if you haven’t tried here.

Rare to be so disappointed by a place.
I’ve seen this place for several years and have always wanted to try it, as Moroccan food is hard to come by in Toronto.
This was just a terrible meal - for all 5 of us. There seemed to be one guy doing everything. The food took way too long and half of the table was served a good 10 minutes before the rest.
My plate seemed to come from a fridge, making the warm food on it instantly cold. Certain that the rice was not cooked today. Undressed chopped salad and 3 pitifully small, dry kofta. This was sub-mall food court level food and not cheap. $17.99.
Service was essentially non existent - the guy never returned to check on things - also provided 2 water glasses for 5 people and we had to retrieve cutlery from another table ourselves.
You wonder how a place like this can stay in business. My advice - skip it!

I recently had lunch at this restaurant and was pleased with the quality of the food. The flavors were rich and well-balanced, and the presentation was beautiful. However, I did find the prices to be quite expensive for the quantity of food that was served.

The food was average and had an acquired taste. I expected the food to be more flavorful however it was bland.
We ordered the Kofta Tagine, the Chicken Tfaya Coucous and also a pot of tea. We really enjoyed the Morroccan tea.

I had the worst experience with Paramount today. I have tried another locations but this time it was the worst. The customer service was very poor . They were literally throwing things and food on the table. The food was cold and when we asked them they refried the food that was immersed in oil and burnt them. The potatoes were cold from inside

The only thing I had here was the baklava, hence the 3 star review and not 1. I'm sure the food is great and the service is pleasant.

Not sure who all these people are praising this baklava in the reviews but I drove out of my way to bring this to a friend's home.

At $3.50/piece plus tax you'd think they'd put more nuts in the thing. I pretty much are pastry, which was soft and tasty but if I go to a proper baklava place they fill it with nuts and it won't be as expensive. I was kinda upset that I wasted my time and money. Felt like I got ripped off.

Don't be stingy with the nuts.

Hands down one of the best Mediterranean restaurants around. I used to order the family platters for office lunches and everyone loves the food. Tarek, the owner always accommodates to our needs. The shawarma, kofta and shishtawouk are all on point. If you like baba ganoush, you must try their mutabbal, It is out of this world and better than any baba ganoush I've ever tasted. Affordable prices too.

First time here! The staff are very friendly and helpful. I got 2 Chicken Shawarma platters. They came with salads, got one Garden and one Caesar. They were okay, as for the dinner platters. They put too much sauce! I asked for no hot sauce and ended up with a lot under the garlic sauce. The Chicken and rice was only okay for a fast food chain. I was expecting to be wowed. That chicken shawarma portion was amazing! ❤️‍🔥It was filled with a lot of chicken, toppings, salad, and sauce. Very generous! Two of us shared it and filled us up completely. Additionally, I really enjoyed the lentil soup. It was very flavorful and warmed me up immediately. 🤤 The baklava was also delicious, it was crispy and had the perfect amount of syrup.

Decent place, I'm used to Halal food from NYC so this is a bit different from what I'm used to. The flavor of the beef over lamb was decent, but kind of plain. The rice didn't have anything cooked or mixed with it so it was pretty much plain rice. The in white sauce and hot sauce was okay, but the heat of the hot sauce was overrated. It is nowhere near as hot as someplace claim it to be. I would recommend coming here as a quick and cheap meal, appropriate for any college student at night.

I enjoyed having lunch in Morocco House, the waiters were very nice and friendly we had some discussions and they offered me an extra tea, I will definitely go back.

We came here two weeks ago...
We got some shawarma wraps and a plate with extra chicken. Everything was fresh, and of generous portion for the price. The meat is well seasoned and juicy.

The tables are clean and the restaurant is well maintained.

They even gave us free soup to enjoy while we were waiting, it was a kind touch.

Top 3 shawarma places in GTA. Got the plate first and it was so good that I had to try the saj wrap. And the wrap was even better!

Cute place with great Moroccan food. I ordered take out which came out fresh, delicious and hot. The atmosphere is quaint and I would love to come back to sit in.

The food at Leziz kitchen is always cooked to perfection. I love getting their chicken wrap for lunch, it’s light, healthy and tastes amazing every time. They cook your food fresh so you do have to wait around 10 mins but it’s definitely worth it. The owner/ staff are always a pleasure to speak to, highly recommend trying out this restaurant.

I brought some family to dine here after I had a great experience at the downtown location.
We were greeted warmly when we arrived, but the table next to us who got here 15 mins after us got served first. The waiter also never refilled our water or checked on us after we got out food.

Everything tasted great, but the tabbouleh salad we got was tiny for the price we paid. The beef and chicken shawarma plates were very dry.

Not sure if I would come back to this location.

This place is fantastic. I arrived at Plamyra Mediterranean House at 1:30 on a Friday. Was greeted with kindness by the staff. I ordered a Chicken Shawarma Wrap spicy with everything (Lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, garlic, and spicy sauce). The woman behind counter told me about how the wrap is traditionally served back home overseas. (Just pickles and garlic). She was completely kind and friendly. Now for the Wrap, it was perfect. Tons of flavor and just the right amount of spicy. Overall just a wonderful lunch experience. Will be eating here again.

Superb as always. We usually do pickup since we live in the Toronto's east end. This time we did dine-in and it was even better than usual. The tea was aromatic and delicious - truly a comforting drink for the soul.
The lamb tagine was juicy, bursting with flavourful and quite belly-warming. The chicken couscous was also juicy and flavourful, plus the portion was quite generous. The accompanying bread was the perfect partner to suck all the delicious sauciness of both dishes.
5 stars 🌟 out of 5.

I have tried multiple Shawarma places right from the famous chains to local hotspots but this one was an absolute hidden gem!!!

- Soft and well-cooked chicken
- Fresh veggies and ingredients
- Flavourful sauces
- Clean space

The owner (Mr. Nabil) himself makes the shawarmas and is very polite

Absolutely horrible. The Zaalook Warm Salad (pictured here next to beer bottle for scale) was basically just tomatoes with a little onion (and 3 olives) and was tiny (for $12). The Chicken Tagine ($19) was just boiled chicken with celery & onion, a couple carrot bits and a *single* olive (I took the chicken out of the container so you could see the "sauce"). And the Lamb Shank was three tiny pieces of lamb ($23) not an actual shank . On top of all this, all 3 orders were supposed to arrive with Pita Bread and there was none.

I've *NEVER* provided a negative review before of any restaurant. DO NOT BUY

This is one of the best shawarma bowls I have gotten in my life. I got a chicken shawarma bowl with saffron rice, veggies, tahini and chutney as sauce. The saffron rice by itself had so much flavour and you can tell the food is always served fresh. The inside is very clean and both owner/cook were friendly. Will come back again!

The dishes ordered are marked as one of the favourites on the menu, so we choose their beef and chicken wrap.

Do not ask me precisely which one...because the menu I forgot. Just said this one and this one.

Their salad taste fresh, the fries were not oily at all (I think they oven-cooked the fries) and the wrap were not too salty nor oily. Delicious🤤.

What an amazing shawarma and what an awesome place! It has a traditional takeout counter but it's well-appointed with lots of tables and you can sit down if you want. I had an unbelievable chicken shawarma wrap one of the best I've ever had, and I'm the type who seeks out shawarma. It had a lot of meat and great balance of flavors. They gave me a Falafel to try (so nice!) and it was honestly the best one I've ever had. I went back in to compliment them. Awesome service!

The older gentleman is a great guy who provided me and the other customers with plates and complementary soup. He told us not to worry about paying, just eat and after we can pay. I'd reccomend.

The food at Leziz is a spiritual experience. The owner is kind and warm and her passion for cooking really shines in every meal. If you’re going through stress in life, all you need is this food haha so tasty and beautifully crafted! They seemed short staffed when we decided to go dine in. Had to call the waiter a couple of times by getting up from
My seat and when we got to order a dish was not available.
Food seemed fresh and delicious and also authentic.
The khubz served was dry and hard so did not enjoy that.
Liked the decorations.
Payment was only by cash so that was not convenient at all and had to drive off to get cash before we could sit and order.

I enjoy the takeout meals when they arrived, the chicken breast shish were just delicious, I preferred them over the chicken shawarma plate.
Everything seemed very fresh and freshly made and price point for the meals was good value.
