Horrible nearly 2 hours waiting the pizzas and when arrived they are super cold...i dont recomended at all

I placed an order for 11 xxl pizzas with sides for collection on New Year’s Eve. Everything was ready on time and the pizzas were delicious…the staff even helped me carry them to the car…great service..I’ll definitely use them again.

I’m not new to Pizza. It’s something I enjoy and I know what I like. Great pizza available here which brought back memories of the great pizza I’ve tried across my travels in the UK. Delicious, tasty, great service and the whole family agree. Do it, you won’t regret it!

2 stars for the food. As everything else wasn't to my liking. Was greeted my a person I thought was a customer but was the manager wearing his coat. Was asked to throw my drink I had away. No smiles, no happy welcome. Felt unwanted and judged as soon as i walked it. Will not be going back to surbtion again.

The staff here are very friendly and helpful. I tried a pizza here recently, I was impressed. Thank you, see you soon.

Literally some of the friendliest people serving up delicious vegan pizza and delicious vegan desserts around. Quick, fast and professional, can't go wromg ordering from these folks.

Loads of little fruit flies which drove me nuts. Good pizza. Think I'd have the thin crust next time

What an awful experience we had this afternoon in your restaurant this afternoon.
Despite there being more staff than customers your still managed to get our order wrong.We eventually received a really cold and soggy Pizza and some really sad looking Pasta Pollo meal.I said at the time that the Pizza was cold and sloppy I was given a sorry and the waiter walked off.
I then complained at the checkout and the waiter then said I’ve already said “sorry”!!
All in all a rubbish meal with badly trained staff.

I ordered through just eat and when I received the food it was ice cold. Really unhappy with the experience. When I contacted just eat they added £7.70 to my just eat account as credit and told me they can’t give me a refund. I think robbery is the term to use. Really atrocious.

Came for dinner here with girlfriends Thursday 5th October and the food was soooo good! Would highly recommend! Still dreaming about the food! Great service too. I didn’t get to thank the staff for a lovely meal on the night as had to rush off, so thank you.

I have to agree with other reviewers, the menu is changing and not for the better. There used to be a fantastic fixed price menu - no more. There used to be Italians working here, but not any more. The flair and refinement of the old menu has been replaced with larger portions. It’s not bad, but sadly a once great restaurant is now just a quite good restaurant. Oh well.

Food was pretty good and prices weren't unreasonable (except for the starters - they were overpriced). Service could have been better. Was given just a spoon to eat the carbonara which was a bit odd! I'd visit again though.

The lovely lady on the phone took my order it was a long one and vegan order so I was a bit worried. But she was very nice. And the pizza’s were AMAZING!! So fresh. The vegan cheese was really tasty. And the spicy one I asked for was actually really spicy! Was perfect my family really loved it. Thank you again to the lovely lady and chef!!
Best vegan pizza in town!

Discovered this place by accident to be honest. Arrived a few minutes before they were closing and I still got served which was nice. The pizza was great, as was the service. I think they charge an extra £1 for card payments though.

A great pizza which arrived piping hot. Lots of toppings and reasonably priced. We ordered a large stuffed crust double pepperoni and a large meat feast with garlic pizza bread along with an assortment of dips and a 1 litre bottle of 7UP and it came to £30 with delivery.

The garlic bread was absolutely delicious.

Came here with my family and my dad received the wrong order. When questioning the waiter, he shrugged it off and proceeded to say how he had received the right order, not even reviewing what we had ordered. My mums pasta was also extremely dry, and looked as if it had been sitting cold for weeks. The food is also so overpriced for the quality it is, as I saw the waiter plonk a cheesecake onto the plate from a plastic box and serve it for £7! I’m aware this is a chain, so obviously they can’t make cheesecake every morning, but at least lower the prices for something that looks as if you bought it from Asda for £1.50.

I enjoyed my pizza, and the wine. I also thought the service was pleasant, and the decor good. My friend wasn't as keen on her dish, although I think that may have been more of a personal taste issue, rather than the food itself being bad. The only complaint I have is the lack of vegetarian options.

In my opinion, this one of the best pizza places in Surbiton. They use a very tasty cheese blend and the crust is very good. The staff are always lovely and a good bunch. Good value compared to the other take aways and they have seating.

Delicious food. Nice ambience. Waitress efficient although a little brash. Restaurant became really noisy so much so we had to leave in a hurry. Great place to eat but definitely not a great place to relax.

The pizzas took an hour to arrive… they were hot and looked fantastic.
But when did pizza come with a thick layer of mature cheddar cheese and not a light and stringy mozzarella?
Totally spoiled what we’d hoped would be a delicious bank holiday treat.

For me nothing can beat Papa Johns…amazing taste…consistency in taste….price wise its okay…you will always find deals on pizza

Great food, as Italian I can say that is not quite a classic Italian pizza but very delicious non the less, is definitely my place of choice if I want a nice pizza take away also a bit cheaper that the average.

Hands down they make the best burgers and pizzas in Surbiton👌🏻 definitely recommend it. Best customer service 👌🏻

At this branch the pizza was good. I added extra cheese as I had quite a few big toppings with the Chicken Club pizza I ordered. So - I needed enough Mozzarella to cover the slices. The UK versions do not have the saucy American style that defined them. That’s difficult to recreate. We are living in a different era and country now.

The pizza isn’t oily - the toppings are cooked and taste as it should do. The medium is a good size for me - I usually eat a few slices then save the rest for the following day. It is still edible for me to do this.

The potato tots remind me of when we used to sell potato crunchies in this part of the globe. I ordered the bacon and cheese - I‘ve been trying to lesson the red meat in my diet - so this was a one off - personally I didn’t really like it with the bacon - therefore with my next purchase a few weeks later I bought tots with 4 cheese. That was better. However, the cheese tasted a bit caramelised in a very milky way - clearly it’s cheese - so it’s not unheard of it being ‘milky’, but with cheesy dishes at take outs there is more of a heated salty touch to it. With these tots and 4 cheese it was more ‘milky’ - which I didn’t really like.

With these cheese inflicted tots haha - you have to expect it to be mashy as everything is hot and melted. Tots are like Hash Browns in the way they can break apart with the culmination of potato parts making it what it is as a whole tater.

Overall - I enjoyed my meal and will order again if the time feels right. Please take a look at my visuals for your own judgment before ordering. Hopefully it helps!

UPDATE: Ate there last week and not of the same quality any more, pizza was nowhere near as good as it used to be. Wine list had also gone down hill, cost of living crisis I assume. Sad really...

The diavola pizza is a work of art. Huge hat tip to Fabio on creating the best pizza I have ever had in the UK, I look forward to many more. Staff are fantastic and the ambiance is that of a family run Italian Trattoria, all round great dining experience.

I popped in to this pizza shop and ordered 2 pizzas, margarita and seafood. While waiting, the delivere parked outside and shocked me with his behaviour, split on the floor, it went on his jacket, came in, didn't wash his hand or sanitised and picked up the next delivery.
Did put his mask on when he came in and took it off once in his car.
Disgusting !!!
PS : the seafood pizza was small, 1 prawn couple of anchovies and tuna

Always amazed by the taste, and this ambiance, and hospitality at this branch are really great! Love spending time with friends and family at the pizza zone, essepiclaly this pizza express 😍😍😍!

Avoid at all costs, made an order with them on just eat and after waiting well over an hour I called the restaurant on the whereabouts of the order, they claimed that they had delivered the order which I flat out denied and then suddenly became very argumentative claiming that their driver had rung the bell and given the order to someone else saying it was our fault, so basically they admitted their fault and tried deflecting the blame onto me. I’ve ordered from many many restaurants over the years and this honestly is a first, such a lack of professionalism and customer service. If only 0 was an option because that’s what they truly deserve.

Since living near I have regularly ordered these SUPERB pizzas and they are consistently FANTASTIC. The bases are delicious and the toppings are really good. Lovely cheese, nice flavoursome tomato sauce and fresh tasty toppings. Amongst the very best most authentic proper pizzas out there. Like a pizza from a top rated Italian restaurant and SO much better than anything else available in the UK. Delicious!

Took so long I had to call and cancel it. Pizza left waiting for delivery for this long would be of unacceptable quality. The worst part is they will hang up on you and not answer calls, I could have collected if they answered promptly. Eventually they did and a very unhappy sounding person said I will be refunded in 2-3 days. For some reason the delivery man called about 20 mins later that he was outside and had to be sent away. Strange experience. Best order in the quiet times or collect!!!

Have ordered village pizza for years but this will be my last time.
I ordered through the just eat app and as you can see from the pictures my order turned up in unbranded boxes not the usual village pizza boxes.
I ordered a deal for a 10 inch pizza and a 10 inch garlic bread pizza with a drink.
What a joke! The garlic bread pizza was just bread, not even garlic! The main pizza was overcooked greasy and thin even though I ordered deep pan.
I even contacted their customer service to send the photos, no reply!
Awful pizza, never again!

Ordered 2 large pizzas. Got ready relatively fast. I came to pick up myself. Lady was very polite

I celebrated my birthday at Cento Uno and it was a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly courteous and welcoming, they made my celebration special. The food was great. Good selection and we enjoyed the additional monthly menu of specials. We particularly enjoyed the gnoccho fritto starter and the boar parpadelle special. Great drinks too! Highly recommended.

Lovely little Italian restaurant in Surbiton. Despite arriving early to try and get a table, the place has a really good vibe and not to mention good food. (Place was fully booked but accepted walk in entries if there was last minute availability)
Menu consists of starters, pizza choices, pasta dishes, specials and desserts. There are gluten free pasta and pizza base available, these are not made on the premises and is made by a separate company. There is a small additional charge for this.
Pizza is made fresh in their impressively large pizza oven located in the restaurant. We were sat at the bar area around this pizza oven and it was lovely to see the pizza masters doing their thing with stretching the pizza dough.
Great selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks too.
The place was clean and staff friendly and helpful.
Will return.

I've been coming to surbiton village pizza for years and they never disappoint, always fresh and very friendly staff. My favourite things to order is their appetizers. Highly recommend this place.

Edit: Place was quite nice to sit in I was greeted friendly by waitress paid with card for my meal and sat down inside the restaurant

I waited eagerly as I was hungry for my 7inch personal pepperoni pizza (how's that for alliteration)

It came after around 10 minutes or judging from my receipt

It was very nice the crust was hot till I stepped outside into the cold so I ate the cheese topping off a few before I headed out the store

That alone was very tasty but the crust had a fantastic crunch to it

Sometimes pizza quality will change based on delivery time and weather

My children has always loved pizza express. I have to admit it wasn't my favourite pizza restaurant but since I tried the new menu I am so much happier to take my children there.
Only been once at Surbiton branch, normally we go to the Esher one. The service at Surbiton was fantastic and the very friendly waitress gave a little tip which made my pizza exquisite!

Update 8th March 2020. Ordered again after a long period. Another bad experience. Surprise, surprise!
Placed order, one hour later no pizza. Called to complain. Person I spoke to said it's on way, bye and put phone down. Male on phone was very rude and unapologetic. Pizza arrived 15 minutes later. Luke warm pizza and potato tots like a slab of slate. (SEE IMAGES ATTACHED). Didn't bother calling to complain because of how rude they were on the phone to me previously. Just threw it all away. I'll send an email to head office in the hope of getting a refund. Definitely last time I order!

Made the mistake of ordering again. Fourth order wrong in a row. When I told the delivery driver, he just said that others just give him the order and it's not his fault. However I don't see how that helps me. I sent a complaint yet again but didn't get a response. No customer service whatsoever!

Unfortunately, they got my order absolutely wrong. I ordered The Greek and it had no olives, sliced pepperoncini, feta or oregano. They even decided to throw on some sweetcorn and some peppers. I sent a complaint under the quality guarantee but involves chasing so I just gave up. Please see attached the image of my pizza which is their version of The Greek. Absolute morons!
